Abstract

This study aims to produce a valid and reliable instrument of Knowledge (technology, pedagogic and content), to analyze the relationship between variable values of Knowledge (technology, pedagogic and content) of teachers in learning, to analyze Knowledge (technology, pedagogic and content) of teachers in learning based on GAMESECAF factors. This research uses Survey research with Cross Sectional Survey technique. This research was conducted at 7 Madrasah Aliyah in Gorontalo city. A population of 185 teachers was taken as a sample of 127 respondents. Data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires and the results of the questionnaire analyzed the validity and reliability of the instrument using the Rasch Model. Analysis of the relationship between variables is described from the results of the SPSS formulation. The results of the study are (1) All questionnaire items meet the valid and reliable requirements. (2) The correlation between TPACK dimensions is in the moderately strong (5 correlations) and strong (16 correlations) categories. (3) The average percentage values are all above 80%, which proves that the respondent teachers of Madrasah Aliyah in Gorontalo city have TPACK skills in the good and very good categories

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 3 Limboto pada mata pelajaran IPAS, khususnya materi perubahan wujud zat melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Inquiri. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus yang melibatkan 30 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa serta tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa: pada tahap pra-siklus, ketuntasan klasikal hanya mencapai 26%. Setelah penerapan model Inquiri pada Siklus I, ketuntasan meningkat menjadi 70%. Pada Siklus II, ketuntasan klasikal mencapai 87%, yang berarti telah melampaui standar KKM yang ditetapkan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan model pembelajaran Inquiri efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Project-Based Flex Blended Learning (PjBFBL) model in improving students' critical thinking skills on Ohm's Law material in science courses. The quasi-experimental method uses a Nonequivalent Control Group Design with 41 fourth semester students divided into experimental (PjBFBL) and control (conventional) groups. Instruments include critical thinking tests based on seven indicators (interpretation, analysis, evaluation, inference, explanation, self-regulation, essential questions), analyzed using N-Gain, T-test, and effect size. Results showed the experimental group achieved a moderate N-Gain improvement (0.63) with the highest categories in inference (0.78; high) and explanation (0.73; high), while the control group only had a low N-Gain (0.28). The independent T-test confirmed the significant difference (t (25,092) = 7.230; p<0.05) with an average difference of 35.78% and a large effect size (Cohen's d=2.299). The research conclusion indicates that the PjBFBL model effectively improves critical thinking skills, particularly in multidimensional reasoning and information synthesis, through the integration of authentic projects, hybrid flexibility, and structured collaboration. The findings recommend the adoption of this model in science learning to bridge the 21st century competency gap, noting the need to strengthen the interpretation aspect through more contextualized instruments

Abstract

This article aims to explore the potential of the SOLO Taxonomy (Structure of Observed Learning Outcomes) as a framework to improve the quality of learning and assessment of Natural Sciences (IPA), especially in encouraging deep conceptual understanding (deep learning) and high-level thinking skills (HOTS). Using narrative literature review with a qualitative approach to analyze three dimensions: (1) The epistemological relevance of SOLO to the complexity of science, (2) Evidence of implementation in learning/assessment design, and (3) Operational challenges of its implementation. The synthesis of data is sourced from scientific journals, textbooks, and the latest empirical studies. The results are that SOLO (based on five levels: Pre-Structural to Abstract Extended) has proven to be effective in Authentic Assessment, i.e. Measuring students' cognitive structure and HOTS more accurately than conventional assessments. The Instructional Guide i.e. Scaffolding (e.g., concept map, analogy) successfully guides students towards systemic thinking (Relational-Abstract level). Implementation challenges, namely the subjectivity of teacher assessment and the difficulty of applying abstract levels, are overcome through collaborative training, SOLO templates, and technology (e-rubric, AI). The implication is that SOLO shifts the focus of learning from the product (correct answer) to the process of knowledge construction.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk: (1) Menggambarkan kondisi awal keterampilan abad 21 siswa MI; (2) Mengimplementasikan pelatihan IoT dan Sains dengan metode Service Learning; (3) Menganalisis efektivitas pelatihan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan abad 21 siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah Service Learning, dilaksanakan di salah satu MI di Kabupaten Gorontalo dengan 18 siswa kelas V sebagai partisipan. Pendekatan kuantitatif (pre-test dan post-test) dan kualitatif (observasi, wawancara, FGD) diterapkan. Intervensi berupa modul kontekstual, kit IoT sederhana, dan skenario pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Hasil menunjukkan analisis statistik menunjukkan peningkatan yang sangat signifikan (sig. 0,000) pada keterampilan abad 21 siswa, dengan nilai rata-rata meningkat dari 48,89 (pre-test) menjadi 129,17 (post-test). Observasi kualitatif mengkonfirmasi peningkatan pada aspek critical thinking, kreativitas, kolaborasi, dan komunikasi. Kapasitas guru juga mengalami transformasi positif menjadi fasilitator pembelajaran inovatif. Kesimpulan dan Implikasi yakni Pelatihan IoT dan Sains berbasis Service Learning terbukti efektif memperkuat keterampilan abad 21 siswa MI dan kapasitas guru. Program ini merekomendasikan integrasi model serupa ke dalam kurikulum, pendampingan berkelanjutan bagi guru, serta penguatan kemitraan multipihak untuk menjamin keberlanjutan dan replikasi inovasi pembelajaran di jenjang pendidikan dasar

Abstract

Studi ini dilaksanakan dengan maksud meningkatkan capaian pembelajaran siswa dalam mempelajari konsep Jarimah Sariqah—hukum pencurian menurut syariat Islam—dengan memanfaatkan platform Quizizz sebagai media Game Based Learning di MA Al-Khairaat Popayato Barat, khususnya siswa kelas XI. Pendekatan yang diterapkan merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dirancang dalam dua siklus pembelajaran. Sepuluh siswa kelas XI menjadi partisipan riset ini. Instrumen pengambilan data meliputi lembar observasi, instrumen tes pencapaian belajar, serta dokumentasi kegiatan. Temuan riset memperlihatkan kemajuan bermakna di setiap tahapan. Ketuntasan belajar pada tahap awal hanya tercapai oleh 30% siswa dengan rerata skor 65%. Kemajuan terjadi pada siklus pertama dengan ketuntasan mencapai 60% dan rerata naik menjadi 75,6%. Pencapaian optimal diraih pada siklus kedua dengan 90% siswa mencapai ketuntasan dan rerata skor 86%. Riset ini memvalidasi bahwa implementasi Quizizz sebagai platform Game Based Learning berkontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan capaian pembelajaran, motivasi akademik, serta partisipasi aktif siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze research articles on the progressivity of the application of science and technology to the development of students' character This research is a literature study using the Narrative Literature Review method. Data sources come from reputable international journals contained in the Scopus database, accessed through scopus.com, using keywords that have been determined from the initial study, namely Science and Technology and character. The research period covered the last 4 years (2019-2023) and the scope in the country of Indonesia, where 4 articles were obtained that fit the research objectives. From the analysis of the journal articles, some important information was found, including the author's contribution, diagnostic methods used, and content relevant to the research topic on the relationship between Science and Technology and character. The results found are (1) Using ICT-based Learning Media in introducing and teaching about the character of environmental care to students (2) Using LCD media and learning resources from the internet for problem solving of moral and social situations represented visually in the form of animated sketches. (3) Using a digital technology-based evaluation system Automated Short Essay Scoring directly affects students' confidence and character (4) Implementing a 15-minute reading system using ICT by browsing learning websites before learning can increase confidence to learn.
