Abstract

This research is based on the problem of low student learning motivation. The purpose of this study is to determine 1) the effect of using smart apps creator (SAC)-based learning media on learning motivation in the subject of science and social in grade IV students of SD Negeri Doja, Gowa Regency, 2) the perceptions of fourth-grade towards the use of smart apps creator (SAC)-based learning media in science and social learning. The approach used is quantitative with a pre-experimental design in the form of one-group pretest posttest design. The research sample was all fourth-grade students totaling 30 students with saturated sampling techniques. Data collection used learning motivation questionnaire instruments and student perception questionnaires, using descriptive statistical analysis techniques and non-parametric inferential statistics. The results of inferential statistical analysis using the Wilcoxon signed rank test obtained a calculated Zvalue greater than Ztable (4.785 > 1.96) and the Asymp.Sig value is smaller than the significance level (0.001 < 0.05), so that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected, which means there is a significant difference in student learning motivation before and after being given treatment. The results of descriptive statistical analysis show that students’ perceptions are in the very good category (77%) and the good category (23%). Based on the research results, it can be concluded that smart apps creator (SAC) based learning media has an influence on learning motivation in the science and social subjects for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Doja Kabupaten Gowa, and students have a relatively positive perception of the use of smart apps creator (SAC) based learning media.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low creative thinking abilities of students in Mathematics. The research aimed to describe the implementation of differentiated learning based on Project Based Learning (PjBL), students’ creative thinking abilities, and the effect of this approach on fifth-grade students at UPT SPF SD Inpres Karunrung. The study used a quantitative approach with a Quasi-Experimental Nonequivalent Posttest-Only Control Design involving 42 students. Data were collected through observations and pretest–posttest assessments.The observations showed an improvement in learning implementation from the good to the very good category. In the experimental class, pretest scores were in the less creative category, while posttest scores increased to the highly creative category. The Shapiro–Wilk normality test indicated that the data were normally distributed, and the One-Tailed Independent Sample T-Test revealed a significant difference between the experimental and control classes. Thus, differentiated learning based on PjBL positively influenced students’ creative thinking abilities.

Abstract

This study departs from the problem of low critical thinking skills of students in the subject of science and natural sciences. This study uses quantitative research with the type of experimental research that aims to determine the description of the implementation of the problem based learning model based on Flipped Classroom, to determine the description of students' critical thinking skills, and to determine the effect of the problem based learning model based on Flipped Classroom on students' critical thinking skills in the subject of science and natural sciences class V UPT SPF SD Inpres Btn Ikip I. The data collected were then analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and hypothesis test analysis using the Paired Sample t-test test of the problem based learning model based on Flipped Classroom on the teacher's observation sheet experienced an increase from the first meeting of 88% to the second meeting of 98% with a very good category, and on the student's observation sheet also experienced an increase from the first meeting of 82% to the second meeting of 95% with a very good category. And the results of critical thinking of experimental class students have an average of 85.50 which is included in the very critical category. While the results of the critical thinking test of the control class showed an average of 74.77 which is included in the critical category. Based on the results of inferential statistics, it shows that r count is greater than r table at a significance level of 5%. Thus, H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. From these results, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between the Flipped Classroom-based problem-based learning model and the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students of UPT SPF SD Inpres Btn Ikip I Makassar City.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan utama yang disampaikan pada kegiatan pengabdian ini ialah menjelaskan kembali kepada remaja tentang bahaya-bahaya melakukan hubungan seks dan perilaku menyimpang serta dampak-dampaknya yang akan merugikan diri sendiri, orang lain serta lingkungan masyarakat pada umumnya. Metode yang digunakan ialah tim pengabdian menyampaikan materi yang terkait dengan pendidikan seksual, perilaku seks menyimnpang, bahaya dan resiko hubungan seksual di luar nikah. Selanjutnya mitra pengabdian diberikan kesempatan untuk menyampaikan pertanyaan maupun pernyataan yang terkait dengan tema pengabdian sehingga terjadi dialog yang dinamis antara tim pengabdian dengan mitra. Kegiatan ini disambut dengan baik oleh segenap warga masyarakat maupun pemerintah Desa Bulutellue karena dinilai sangat bermanfaat bagi perkembangan dan pembinaan remaja di desa ini. Mereka berharap agar kegiatan yang serupa dapat dilaksanakan secara berkelanjutan, minimal dua kali dalam setahun. Bagi masyarakat Desa Bulutellue, khususnya kalangan remaja sebagai mitra pengabdian menganggap materi yang diberikan sangat bermanfaat dan telah menyadarkan mereka agar senantiasa menjaga pergaulan dan memelihar kehormatan keluarga. Kata kunci : pendidikan seks, remaja, penyakit kelamin ABSTRACT The main objective presented in this service activity is to explain again to teenagers about the dangers of having sex and deviant behavior and the impacts that will harm themselves, others and the community in general. The method used is the service team conveying material related to sexual education, deviant sexual behavior, the dangers and risks of sexual relations outside of marriage. Furthermore, service partners are given the opportunity to submit questions or statements related to the service theme so that a dynamic dialogue occurs between the service team and partners. This activity was well received by all community members and the Bulutellue Village government because it was considered very useful for the development and development of youth in this village. They hope that similar activities can be carried out on an ongoing basis, at least twice a year. For the people of Bulutellue Village, especially among the youth as service partners, they consider the material provided very useful and has made them aware to always maintain relationships and maintain family honor.
