Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of Work Discipline on Work Performance at the Binjai Selatan Subdistrict Office. This research used a quantitative causal associative method. The study was conducted with a population of 117 employees. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling, where all members of the population were included as samples. The data used were obtained from questionnaires distributed to respondents, consisting of all employees from various divisions within the office. The results showed that Work Discipline had a positive and significant effect on Work Performance. This was proven by a t-value of 13.416, which was greater than the t-table value of 1.99656, and a significance value of 0.000, which was less than 0.05. The regression coefficient of 1.267 indicated that every 1-point increase in Work Discipline would lead to an increase of 1.267 points in Work Performance, assuming other variables remained constant. Furthermore, the results of the coefficient of determination test showed an Adjusted R Square value of 0.628 or 62.8%, indicating that Work Discipline had a significant influence on Work Performance, with 37.2% influenced by other factors not included in the study. Overall, the findings of this research identified that improving Work Discipline could significantly contribute to enhancing Work Performance at the Binjai Selatan Subdistrict Office.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the influence of Artificial Intelligence on Employee Creativity at the Dairi Regency Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports Department. This research was carried out at the Dairi Regency Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports Office. The type of research is associative quantitative. The sample in this study was 96 employees with ASN and honorary status at the Dairi Regency Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports Office. The sampling technique in this study used the entire population of 96 people. The research results show that Artificial Intelligence has a significant influence on Employee Creativity as shown by the T-Statistic value of 11.310 > 1.660 and the P Value of 0.000 < 0.05. This shows that improvements in Artificial Intelligence can increase employee creativity at the Dairi Regency Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports Department.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze the influence of Work Discipline on Employee Performance at the Dairi Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency Office. This research was conducted with a causal associative quantitative approach. The sample used was all employees with a total of 43 people taken by purposive sampling. The results of the study show that Work Discipline has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance. This is shown by the T-count value of 43.223 > t table 2.01954, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The regression coefficient shows that if Work Discipline is increased by 1 unit, then Employee Performance will increase by 0.987 units assuming other variables are fixed. In addition, the results of the determination test showed an Adjusted R Square value of 0.960 or 96.00%, which indicates that Work Discipline has a very high influence on Employee Performance, while the remaining 4.00% is influenced by other factors that have not been studied. Thus, partially, Work Discipline has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance at the Dairi Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency Office. This identifies that improvements in Work Discipline can contribute to improving Employee Performance

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that affect customer loyalty of Bank BTPN Putri Hijau Branch with a focus on service and promotion. The type of research used is quantitative with a descriptive approach. The analysis method used is Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The variables studied include Customer loyalty (Y) as a dependent variable, service (X1) and promotion (X2) as independent variables, and Customer satisfaction (Z) as a mediating variable. The results of the study show that services and promotions have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction of Bank BTPN Putri Hijau Branch. In addition, service and promotion also have a positive effect on customer loyalty which plays an important role as a mediator between independent variables and customer satisfaction. This research emphasizes the need for Bank BTPN Putri Hijau Branch to continue to improve customer satisfaction, especially in terms of service and promotion. By improving innovative services, Bank BTPN Putri Hijau Branch can improve customer perception, adjust to their lifestyle, and fulfill their motivation to choose BTPN as their flagship bank.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to analyze the cultural and social influence on the decision to purchase packaged cooking oil mediated by consumer psychology. Based on the identification of problems, several critical issues were found, such as the lack of cultural influence, social circumstances such as economic ability to influence purchasing decisions, and advertisements for oilita packaged cooking oil products that did not attract the attention of consumers. This study does not limit the age of buyers who are 20 years old and above. The sample was taken using the snowball sampling method with a total of 120 respondents. The data was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using the Smart Partial Least Squares (PLS) method. The results of the study show that all variables, namely cultural and social, have a positive and significant influence on consumer purchase decisions and psychology. The hypothesis with the highest value is the influence of consumer psychology on purchase decisions with an original sample (O) value of 0.663 and a T-Statistic of 6.382. On the other hand, the hypothesis with the lowest value is the influence of culture on purchasing decisions with an original sample value (O) of -0.211 and a T-Statistic of 1.769 so that this hypothesis is not accepted. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that as an Indonesian citizen to use domestic products such as oilita packaged cooking oil in the development of daily life needs. The advice for companies that own oilita packaged cooking oil is that the company is expected to be able to provide even better innovation by providing information on the content in oil and its advantages through attractive advertisements such as on television and on social media.

Abstract

This research aims to test and analyze the influence of customer relationship management, social media on marketing performance mediated by digital marketing at Gramedia Medan. Good customer relationship management and effective use of social media have an important role in improving marketing performance. Apart from that, integrated digital marketing is a key factor in mediating the influence of these factors on marketing performance. The research method used is a quantitative approach, with sampling based on the Slovin formula to determine the number of respondents who are representative of the population. The population of this study was Gramedia visitors in Medan City, which from the average visitor report per week, 442 people. With a margin of error of 5%, a sample of 210 respondents were selected randomly. Data was collected through a structured questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique to test the relationship between the variables studied. The research results show that Customer Relationship Management has a positive and significant effect on marketing performance at Gramedia Medan, Social Media has a positive and significant effect on marketing performance; Digital Marketing has a positive and significant effect on marketing performance; Customer Relationship Management has a positive and significant effect on Digital Marketing, Social Media has a positive and significant effect on Digital Marketing. The results of this research also provide recommendations for Gramedia management to improve customer relationship management and the use of social media to improve marketing performance through digital marketing in strengthening Gramedia services in Medan.

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze the influence of company reputation and product innovation on competitive advantage in PT Amanah Travel Indonesia. To test and analyze the influence of company reputation and product innovation on marketing performance at PT Amanah Travel Indonesia through competitive advantage. The method used in this study is a quantitative method. Data analysis techniques using SMART PLS. Data collection techniques using Quesioner and interviews. Using the slovin formula, a sample of 160 consumers was obtained. The results of the study show that the company's reputation and product innovation have a positive and significant effect on the competitive advantage of PT Amanah Travel Indonesia. The company's reputation and product innovation to the marketing performance of PT Amanah Travel Indonesia through competitive advantage.

Abstract

Work conflict and workload are important factors that can affect employee performance, especially in the West Binjai District Office. This study aims to analyze the effect of work conflict on employee performance with workload as an intervening variable. This research approach uses a causal associative quantitative method with 80 employees as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS). The results showed that work conflict had a negative effect on employee performance, with a T-statistic value of 0.735 <1.96 and a P-value of 0.464> 0.05, indicating that work conflict cannot improve employee performance. Work conflict also has a significant effect on workload, with mark T-statistic 0.552 < 1.96 And P-value 0.302 > 0.05. Burden Work proven own significant negative influence on employee performance, with a T-statistic value of 0.735 < 1.96 And P-value 0.001 < 0.05. The indirect effect test shows that workload can intervene in the influence of work conflict on employee performance, with a T-statistic value of 0.733 > 1.96 and a P-value of 0.001 < 0.05. This study concludes that work conflict and workload need managed effectively to improve employee performance. Suggestions for the West Binjai District Office are to implement conflict management strategies, distribute workloads evenly, and create a supportive work environment to improve employee productivity and welfare.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of competence on employee performance with the use of technology as an intervening variable at the South Binjai Sub-district Office. This research was conducted with a causal associative quantitative approach. The sample used was all employees with a total of 117 people. The results of data analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS) with the results showing that competence has a positive and significant effect on the use of technology, shown by a T-Statistic value of 55.648 and a P-Value of 0.000. However, competence has no direct influence on employee performance, with a T-Statistic value of 0.007 and a P-Value of 0.995. On the contrary, the use of technology directly has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a T-Statistic value of 7.873 and a P-Value of 0.000. The findings also show an indirect influence between employee competence and performance through the use of technology as an intervening variable, with a T-Statistic value of 7.475 and a P-Value of 0.000. The implications of this study suggest that organizations prioritize competency development and access to the right technology to optimize employee performance. The study also prompted further studies of other intervening variables, such as organizational culture or psychological capital, that could strengthen the relationship between competence and performance.

Abstract

Effective work discipline and supervision are expected to increase job satisfaction, which in turn has an impact on improving work performance. This study aims to analyze the influence of Work Discipline and Supervision on employee work performance mediated by job satisfaction at the South Binjai District office. Data was obtained through a survey with a quantitative approach and analyzed using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method with a sample of 117 employees. The results of the hypothesis test showed that work discipline and supervision had a positive and significant effect on Work Performance, with T-Statistics of 3,589 and 6,264, respectively, and P-Value < 0.05. This shows that increased discipline and supervision will improve employee work performance. In addition, work discipline and supervision also had a positive effect on Job Satisfaction, with T-Statistic values of 5,266 and 4,842. Job Satisfaction was proven to have a significant positive influence on Job Performance, with a T-Statistic of 8,140, showing the important role of Job Satisfaction in driving employee performance. The results of the indirect influence test show that Supervision and Supervision have a significant effect on Job Performance through Job Satisfaction as a mediator. The indirect influence of Work Discipline and Supervision on Work Performance through Job Satisfaction had T-Statistics of 4.920 and 3.637 > 1.96, respectively, and P-Value < 0.05 < 0.05. These findings indicate that the influence of these two variables on Job Achievement is more effective when facilitated by high Job Satisfaction.
