Abstract

Masa remaja merupakan salah satu fase perkembangan yang sangat krusial dalam kehidupan manusia. Pada tahap ini, individu beralih dari masa kanak-kanak ke dewasa, yang ditandai dengan perubahan fisik, emosional, dan sosial. banyak remaja yang belum sepenuhnya memahami perubahan tersebut, terutama karena topik pubertas sering dianggap tabu di banyak kalangan masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini dengan tiga tahap diantaranya tahap awal melakukan sosialisasi dan pengenalan mengenai media flash car yang akan di gunakan dalam kegiatan. Yang ke dua tahap inti meliputi penjelasan materi pubertas dengan menggunakan media flash card yang di sampaikan oleh tim dan membuka ruang diskusi. yang ke tiga tahap penutup atau evaluasi dari serangkaian kegiatan yang dilakukan guna untuk meninjau kembali pemahaman remaja masjid al ihsan terhadap materi yang di berikan. Flash card terbukti efektif dalam menyampaikan informasi tentang perubahan fisik, emosional, dan sosial selama pubertas. Sebagai saran, program serupa sebaiknya dilanjutkan dengan penyuluhan berkelanjutan dan pengembangan materi yang lebih variatif untuk memperdalam pemahaman dan menjaga keterlibatan remaja.

Abstract

Pola pikir negatif dapat menjadi hambatan serius dalam perkembangan pribadi dan kesejahteraan psikologis individu. Salah satu strategi efektif untuk mengatasi pola pikir negatif adalah reframing, yaitu proses mengubah cara pandang terhadap situasi atau pengalaman yang menimbulkan stres menjadi sudut pandang yang lebih positif dan konstruktif. Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi, kecerdasan buatan (AI) mulai dimanfaatkan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk dalam intervensi psikologis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi implementasi latihan reframing diri dengan bantuan AI serta mengkaji efektivitasnya dalam mengubah pola pikir negatif menjadi positif. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui studi kasus terhadap individu yang menggunakan aplikasi AI sebagai media latihan reframing. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa latihan reframing berbasis AI dapat membantu individu mengenali pola pikir negatif, memberikan umpan balik reflektif secara real-time, serta mendorong terbentuknya kebiasaan berpikir yang lebih adaptif. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa AI berpotensi menjadi alat bantu yang efektif dalam proses pengembangan diri dan penguatan kesehatan mental.

Abstract

Premarital sexual behavior among adolescents has become an increasingly concerning issue, particularly in Vocational High Schools (SMK). This study aims to reduce students’ tendency toward such behavior through information services using the Pancawaskita approach, implemented among tenth-grade students of SMK Negeri 4 Medan. The research employed the Guidance and Counseling Action Research (PTBK) method, conducted in two cycles. The results showed a significant increase in students' understanding and self-control regarding the risks of premarital sex. Prior to the intervention, only 35% of students demonstrated a high level of understanding; after the second cycle, this figure rose to 82%. The Pancawaskita approach, which emphasizes the development of (cognition), (emotion), (intention), (action), and spiritual devotion, proved effective in fostering students’ awareness and commitment to maintaining morally responsible and healthy behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to prevent juvenile delinquency in students of SMK Negeri 4 Medan by implementing classical guidance services using game-based learning techniques. The research method used is classroom action research with subjects of 22 students of class XI TAV 1 who have a moderate level of juvenile delinquency based on pre-cycle results. Services are provided in two cycles with digital mystery box media and interactive game-based learning activities. The pre-cycle results show that 100% of students are in the moderate category with an average score of 117.82. After cycle I, there was a decrease in delinquency with an average score of 94.73 and 27.27% of students were in the low category, but the success target had not been achieved. In cycle II, there was a significant increase where 77.27% of students were in the low category with an average score of 81.05, exceeding the target of greater than or equal to 76%. These findings indicate that the application of game-based learning in classical guidance services is effective in increasing students' awareness of the consequences of delinquency and encouraging more positive behavior. This study underlines the importance of engaging and collaborative learning approaches in efforts to prevent juvenile delinquency in schools.

Abstract

This research aimed to address bullying behavior by implementing classical guidance services utilizing a cognitive approach for Grade X AV 2 students at SMK Negeri 4 Medan. A descriptive qualitative method was applied through two cycles of intervention. During the first cycle, the absence of engaging media led to low student participation and limited understanding of bullying. In the second cycle, illustrated puzzle media was introduced to increase student interest. The outcome showed a marked improvement in student engagement and their ability to explain what bullying is, its consequences, and how to prevent it. These findings suggest that incorporating puzzle-based media into classical guidance sessions can serve as an effective method to raise students’ awareness and understanding of bullying.

Abstract

Academic procrastination represents a significant issue that adversely affects students' academic performance within the school setting. This research seeks to address procrastination tendencies among grade X students at SMK Negeri 4 Medan by implementing group counseling sessions utilizing the behavior contract technique. Assessment findings revealed that a majority of the students in the class exhibited a high tendency to delay academic tasks, and lacked awareness of time management. Group counseling services were chosen as an approach because they were able to create dynamics of mutual support between members, and form a shared commitment to make behavioral changes. The behavior contract technique was applied to build student commitment through a written agreement containing agreed behavioral targets and rewards. It is estimated that through this approach, students can increase their responsibility, internal motivation, and discipline in completing academic tasks on time, thus having a positive impact on improving their learning achievement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk partisipasi masyarakat dalam mengurangi risiko pencemaran limbah di Desa Tanjung Baru, Kecamatan Tanjung Morawa. Permasalahan limbah desa menjadi isu penting karena dapat menimbulkan dampak negatif terhadap kesehatan, lingkungan, dan kualitas hidup masyarakat apabila tidak ditangani dengan baik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi untuk menggali peran serta masyarakat dalam menjaga kebersihan lingkungan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi masyarakat diwujudkan dalam berbagai bentuk, antara lain pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga, kegiatan gotong royong membersihkan lingkungan, pemanfaatan limbah organik menjadi kompos, serta kesadaran dalam membuang sampah pada tempat yang disediakan. Kendala yang dihadapi masyarakat antara lain keterbatasan fasilitas pengelolaan limbah, kurangnya pengetahuan tentang dampak limbah, serta rendahnya kesadaran sebagian warga. Meskipun demikian, secara umum masyarakat menunjukkan kepedulian yang cukup baik dalam upaya mengurangi risiko pencemaran limbah desa. Dengan demikian, peran aktif masyarakat sangat penting dan perlu ditingkatkan melalui penyuluhan, pendampingan, serta penyediaan sarana pengelolaan limbah yang memadai agar tercipta lingkungan desa yang bersih, sehat, dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between character-based parenting and child discipline. The population in this study were 70 people and a sample of 10 children and their parents. The research instrument is an observation sheet in the form of free questions. Data analysis concluded that: (1). The tendency of character-based parenting applied by people is very good with a presentation of 50% in the high category. (2). The tendency of child discipline shown by early childhood is sufficient with a presentation of 30% in the sufficient category. (3). There is a positive and significant relationship between character-based parenting styles on children's discipline with a connectedness coefficient of 42.9%.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the application of the mind mapping learning model through group guidance services through modeling techniques to increase the creativity of students at SMP Muhammadiyah 02 Medan for the 2022/2023 academic year. The objects of this research were 8 students of VIII-2 SMP Muhammadiyah 02 Medan who had low creativity. Service implementation is carried out in one group guidance service cycle. The research design in this study is planning, action, observation and reflection. To obtain data and information in this research, observations and interviews were carried out. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the data analysis that has been described, it can be understood that the application of the mind mapping learning model through guidance services implemented in class VIII-2 of SMP Muhammadiyah 02 Medan for the 2022/2023 academic year can increase student creativity.
