Abstract

ABSTRAK Teh hijau adalah salah satu tanaman yang mempunyai nama latin camelia sinensis. Teh hijau memiliki fungsi sebagai antioksidan, meningkatkan relaksasi, mengurangi gangguan tidur, dan mengurangi kecemasan. Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh konsumsi teh hijau pada tingkat kecemasan dan kualitas tidur terhadap staff Universitas Esa Unggul. Design penelitian ini adalah menggunakan jenis design quasi experimental design dan menggunakan rancangan one-group pretest dan posttest, dan dalam penelitian ini terdapat 32 orang staff sebagai responden. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pretest dan posttest pada kualitas tidur responden mengalami perubahan, pada saat posttest kualitas tidur lebih meningkat dibandingkan pada saat pretest, pada saat posttest kualitas tidur responden yaitu 6,50 ± 2,52, sedangkan kualitas tidur pada saat pretest 8,75 ± 2,67, sementara itu untuk pretest dan posttest tingkat kecemasan juga berubah, pada saat posttest tingkat kecemasan responden juga mengalami penurunan yaitu 7,50 ± 7,47 sedangkan tingkat kecemasan pada saat pretest 16,03 ± 12,76. Analisa statistik menggunakan uji paired sample t-test untuk kualitas tidur dan uji Wilcoxon untuk tingkat kecemasan. Pengaruh konsumsi teh hijau menunjukkan adanya perubahan signifikan antara tingkat kecemesan dan kualitas tidur pada waktu sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan intervensi yang menpunyai significansi yaitu (p=0,000). Abstract

Moringa (Moringa oleifera) is a nutrient-densed food that can be used as a food source and possess pharmacological properties. Fermented Moringa has a better amino acid profiles and potentially has a greater digestibility. Nevertheless, the effect of lactic acid bacteria as fermentation culture on Moringa’s amino acid profiles is warrant for investigation. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Moringa’s fermentation with lactic acid bacteria on its nutritional value, especially amino acid. In this study, Moringa leaves were fermented with lactic acid bacteria for 0, 24, and 48 hours. Amino acid concentrations with fermentation 0, 24, and 48 hours respectively were 1007.94 mg/kg, 1304.13 mg/kg, and 521.12 mg/kg, where the highest concentration of amino acids was in Moringa leaves which were fermented for 24 hours. The concentrations of various amino acids in Moringa leaves were measured by High Performance Liquid Chromatography. The best treatment was 24 hours of fermentation, where the total amino acid (TAA) was 1304.13 mg/kg.

Abstract

Menstrual disorders are caused by diet and sedentary life, stress, disease, genetic. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between the frequency of junk food consumption and menstrual cycle disorders. This study used a cross sectional design with respondents involved were WUS visiting the catin clinic at Puskesmas Duren Sawit, East Jakarta. The number of respondents was 55 people. Data analysis using chi square test. The results of the study respondents whose menstrual cycle was not normal as much as 23.6%. The youngest age of menarche was 12 years. The frequency of junk food consumption in the category of frequent consumption (7 times / week) is a group of foods / drinks containing a lot of sugar, fried foods, processed meat foods by 81.8%, 67.3%, 36.4%. The results of the chi square test showed that there was a significant relationship between the frequency of junk food consumption and menstrual cycle disorders with P <0.05. In conclusion, junk food consumption is a cause of menstrual cycle disorders and further research is needed to see the causes of menstrual cycle disorders as a whole.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Anemia merupakan permasalahan kesehatan masyarakat yang utama di dunia, terutama pada negara berkembang. Remaja putri mengalami kematangan pada system reproduksi dengan mengalami mentruasi. Siklus mentruasi yang terjadi secara berkala perlu didukung dengan asupan gizi yang memadai. Namun bila asupan zat gizinya tidak terpenuhi maka ini akan menjadi salah satu faktor resiko terjadinya anemia. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah membina kemitraan dengan masyarakat sekolah dengan mempraktekkan cara mengolah buah dan sayur sehingga kualitas kesehatan meningkat dengan terhindar dari masalah anemia dan juga membantu mengoptimalkan program TTD dari pemerintah. Metode edukasi dalam kegiatan ini berupa penyuluhan dan diskusi. Hasil yang dicapai yakni edukasi berjalan dengan lancar, hasil penilaian post test pengetahuan gizi terkait anemia lebih baik. Kegiatan edukasi pada siswi seharusnya dilakukan berkelanjutan sehingga bisa mensukseskan program TTD pemerintah. Kata Kunci: Anemia, Remaja Putri, TTD  ABSTRACT Anemia is a major public health problem in the world, especially in developing countries. Young women experience maturity in the reproductive system by experiencing menstruation. The menstrual cycle that occurs periodically needs to be supported by adequate nutritional intake. However, if the nutritional intake is not met, this will be one of the risk factors for anemia. The purpose of this community service activity is to foster partnerships with the school community by practicing how to process fruits and vegetables so that health quality increases by avoiding anemia problems and also helps optimize the government's TTD program. The educational method in this activity is in the form of counseling and discussion. The results achieved were that education ran smoothly, the results of the post-test assessment of nutritional knowledge related to anemia were better. Educational activities for female students should be carried out continuously so that they can make the government's TTD program a success. Keywords: Anemia, Adolescent Girl, TTD

Abstract

ABSTRACT Diarrhea is defined as a phase of abnormal feces discharge in the form of more liquid consistency with a frequency of more than 3 times a day. Pathogens that cause diarrhea are infections of Vibrio cholerae, Shigella, Campylobacter jejuni, Escherichia coli, and Salmonella. For toddlers, diarrhea can cause death if not treated properly because they are easily dehydrated. Therefore, one step to overcome diarrhea in toddlers is to increase the capacity of cadres. This community service activity aims to educate posyandu cadres about the hazards of diarrhea in toddlers in the Desa Ciampea Udik, Kecamatan Ciampea, and Kabupaten Bogor. A total of 36 cadres who participated in the activity were educated and evaluated by providing pre-test and post-test questions. The test results showed that the average pre-test score was 69.7, and the average post-test score increased to 74.9. In the future, activities that need to be carried out include educating posyandu cadres about the use and processing of local food in an effort to increase toddler immunity, especially against the risk of diarrhea. Keywords: Diarrhea, Education, Posyandu cadres, Toddlers

Abstract

Layanan makanan rumah sakit berperan penting dalam mendukung pemulihan pasien melalui penyediaan nutrisi yang sesuai. Kepuasan pasien terhadap penyelenggaraan makanan dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, baik dari aspek makanan maupun pelayanan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penentu yang mempengaruhi tingkat kepuasan pasien terhadap penyelenggaraan makanan di rumah sakit. RSUD Balaraja sebagai rumah sakit tipe B belum pernah melakukan penelitian mengenai kepuasan pasien dalam penyelenggaraan makanan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuanitatif dengan desain  cross sectional.  Teknik purposive sampling digunakan untuk memilih 102 pasien rawat inap. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner, dan dianalisis menggunakan uji chi-square dan regresi logistik. Variabel dependen yang diteliti adalah kepuasan pasien, sedangkan variabel independen meliputi usia pasien, jenis kelamin, lama tinggal, pendidikan, kualitas makanan, aroma, variasi, tekstur, rasa, penyajian, kebersihan peralatan, ketepatan waktu penyajian, suhu makanan, serta sikap dan penampilan pelayan. Temuan  penelitian  menunjukkan  adanya  korelasi signifikan  antara  kepuasan  pasien  dan  kualitas makanan (p= 0.000), penampilan makanan (p= 0.014), aroma makanan (p= 0.002), variasi makanan (p= 0.004), rasa makanan (p= 0.008), kualitas layanan (p= 0.044), serta sikap pramusaji (p= 0.044). Tingkat kepuasan pasien secara signifikan dipengaruhi oleh tiga faktor  yaitu kualitas makanan (OR= 35.698, nilai p= 0.002), rasanya (OR= 9.055, nilai p= 0.018), dan tampilannya (OR= 0.026, nilai p= 0.030). Hasil penelitian ini mendukung tujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor yang memengaruhi kepuasan pasien, dengan menunjukkan bahwa kualitas makanan, rasa dan penyajian merupakan fator utama yang berkontribusi secara signifikan.

Abstract

Depression and anxiety are common mental health issues affecting an 300 million people globally, with up to 13% of postpartum mothers experiencing depression and 19,8% with higher risks. These conditions can negatively impact both mother and child. The intake of natural antioxidants found in fruits has the potential to reduce these symptoms. This study aimed to analyze the effect of fruit consumption as a natural source of antioxidants on symptoms of depression and anxiety in postpartum mothers with children aged 1–12 months. The study was conducted from June-July 2024 in Bojong Rawalumbu, Bekasi City, using a quasi-experimental design with 64 respondents (28 in the treatment group and 29 in the control group completing the study). The treatment group received fruit interventions for 21 days, while the control group received no intervention. Depression symptoms were measured using the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS), anxiety levels were measured using the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI), and fruit consumption compliance was monitored using a provided form. The results showed a reduction in the mean depression score (difference of 2.00) and anxiety score (difference of 4.18) in the treatment group (p = 0.0001 for both). In conclusion, adequate fruit consumption may reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety in postpartum mothers with children aged 1–12 months.
