Abstract

Tujuan  penelitian adalah untuk menemukan model pembelajaran yang valid, efektif, praktis dan efisien untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dalam menulis.  Metodologi yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan (research and development/R&D) model Plomp. Penelitian dilaksanakan di dua sekolah dasar negeri kota Medan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan model pembelajaran team assested individualization berbasis metakognisi yang dikembangkan terbukti efektif untuk meningkatkan capaian hasil belajar siswa dengan koefisien N-Gain  0,49 kategori sedang. Simpulan penelitian adalah produk model pembelajaran team assested individualization berbasis metakognisi  yang dihasilkan valid berdasarkan validasi ahli, memiliki tingkat kepraktisan,  keefektifan dan keefisienan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif menulis siswa.

Abstract

CD PEMBELAJARAN INTERAKTIF SOLUSI PEMBELAJARAN DI MASA PANDEMIC  Elvi Mailani, Yusnadi, Eva Betty SimanjuntakUniversitas negeri Medan Abstrak: Mitra yang menjadi sasaran Program Kemitraan Masayarakat (PKM) adalah  SD Negeri 165718 dan SD Negeri 163085 Kecamatan Tebing Tinggi Kota, Kota Tebingtinggi.  . Berdasarkan observasi dan wawancara yang dilakukan kepada guru dan kepala sekolah ke dua SD Negeri tersebut, dimasa pandemic covid -19 seperti saat ini dimana seluruh sekolah di Indonesia saat ini sedang melakukan kegiatan proses pembelajaran yang berbeda dari biasanya yaitu belajar dari rumah, tentunya proses pembelajaran yang demikian membuat banyak permasalahan dan kendala bagi guru-guru di kedua sekolah ini. Kegiatan proses pembelajaran system daring yang dilaksanakan dimasa pandemic ini membuat guru-guru yang kemampuan IT nya rendah menjadi kewalahan. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara yang dilakukan peneliti terdapat 3 masalah utama yang dihadapi mitra, antara lain: (1) penguasaan dan kemampuan IT guru-guru masih sangat rendah,(2) pemilihan media yang tepat saat masa pandemic seperti saat inil, (3) keterbatasan media pendukung pembelajaran siswa. Berdasarkan  ke tiga permasalahan tersebut ditawarkan sebuah solusi yang dapat mengatasi seluruh permasalahan tersebut dimasa pandemic covid-19 ini. Solusi ini sederhana namun berdampak sangat luar biasa untuk mengatasi seluruh permasalahan bagi guru dan siswa seperti yang dijabarkan di atas. Solusi yang dipilih adalah pengembangan video pembelajaran matematika. Target khusus dan luaran yang akan dihasilkan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini   adalah: (1) Artikel Ilmiah akan dipublikasikan pada Elementary School Jurnal sinta 3, (2) CD video pembelajaran matematika. Metode pelaksanaan program pengabdian dilakukan melalui beberapa tahap, antara lain: (1) persiapan, (2) pelaksanaan, (3) monitoring dan evaluasi, dan (4) tindak lanjut. Dengan metode yang digunakan, diharapkan mampu mengatasi permasalahan yang sedang dihadapi dunia pendidikan saat ini, dimana proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan dari rumah tanpa melakukan kegiatan tatap muka. Dengan menggunakan video pembelajaran matematika ini,  diharapkan siswa dapat terus belajar dan mengembangkan potensi yang terdapat dalam dirinya.Kata kunci : CD, pembelajaran matematikaAbstract:Partners who are targeted by the Community Partnership Program (PKM) are SD Negeri 165718 and SD Negeri 163085, Tebing Tinggi Kota District, Tebingtinggi City. . Based on observations and interviews conducted with teachers and principals of the two SD Negeri, during the Covid -19 pandemic like today, all schools in Indonesia are currently carrying out different learning process activities than usual, namely learning from home, of course the learning process is different. thus creating many problems and obstacles for teachers in these two schools. The online system learning process activities carried out during this pandemic overwhelmed teachers with low IT skills. Based on the results of interviews conducted by researchers, there are 3 main problems faced by partners, including: (1) teachers' mastery and IT skills are still very low, (2) choosing the right media during a pandemic like today, (3) media limitations supporting student learning. Based on these three problems, a solution is offered that can overcome all of these problems during the Covid-19 pandemic. This solution is simple but has a tremendous impact on overcoming all the problems for teachers and students as described above. The solution chosen was the development of a mathematics learning video. Specific targets and outputs that will be produced in this service activity are: (1) Scientific articles will be published in the Elementary School Sinta Journal 3, (2) Mathematics learning video CD. The method of implementing the service program is carried out in several stages, including: (1) preparation, (2) implementation, (3) monitoring and evaluation, and (4) follow-up. With the method used, it is expected to be able to overcome the problems currently facing the world of education, where the learning process is carried out from home without doing face-to-face activities. By using this mathematics learning video, it is hoped that students can continue to learn and develop their potential.Keywords: CD, mathematics learning

Abstract

The objectives of the research were (1) to produce interactive learning media based on Adobe Animate Creative Cloud for Social Studies class IV at Amaliyah Sunggal Private Elementary School, the sub-theme of the beauty of the cultural diversity of my country which was developed to be suitable for use as learning media, (2) to produce the use of Adobe-based interactive learning media. Animate creative cloud on social studies subjects in class IV Amaliyah Sunggal Private Elementary School on the sub-theme of the beauty of the diversity of my country which was developed effectively to improve learning outcomes. The research method uses research and development. Subjects were material expert validators, media experts, instructional media design experts, linguists, teachers and twenty five students. Product development is evaluated using a questionnaire. The results of the evaluation of the test subjects were analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The development model used in this study is the Thiagarajan model, known as the Four-D (4-D Model). The results showed that social studies interactive learning media based on Adobe Animate Creative Cloud in class IV Amaliyah Sunggal Private Elementary School was appropriate and effective for improving student learning outcomes in learning the theme of the beauty of the diversity of my country.

Abstract

Tujuan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat yang dilaksanakan adalah melakukan pendampingan kepada penggiat dalam mengembangkan desa literasi berbasis masyarakat di Desa Ara Payung, Kec. Pantai Cermin, Kab. Serdang Bedagai. Hal ini dilakukan berdasarkan permasalahan yang dialami mitra, antara lain: (1) Belum terlaksananya program desa literasi yang tertuang dalam RPJMDes Desa Ara Payung karena belum ada grand design desa litrasi Desa Ara Payung; (2) belum terlihatnya peran perpustakaan desa sebagai pusat kegiatan literasi di Desa; (3) koleksi perpustakaan masih minim dan secara garis besar banyak berkaitan dengan bacaan anak-anak karena pengguna utama masih didominasi oleh peserta didik PAUD Seroja Desa Ara Payung; dan (4) belum terlihat peran dari karang taruna dan pengurus perpustakaan desa yang notabene-nya ditugaskan sebagai penggiat utama desa literasi di Desa Ara Payung. Adapun solusi yang dilaksanakan berdasarkan permasalahan mitra, diantaranya: (1) Pendampingan penyusunan grand design desa literasi berbasis masyarakat di Desa Ara Payung; (2) Pendampingan tata kelola & pemberdayaan perpustakaan desa sebagai pusat kegiatan literasi; (3) Penambahan koleksi buku bacaan yang lebih update dan relevan dengan kebutuhan masyarakat Desa Ara Payung; dan (4) Pendampingan karang taruna dan pengurus perpustakaan desa sebagai penggiat utama desa literasi berbasis masyarakat di Desa Ara Payung. Pelaksanaan kegiatan tersebut diharapkan dapat memperkuat motivasi mitra dalam mengembangkan Desa Ara Payung sebagai salah satu Desa Literasi yang mengoptimalkan potensi masyarakat sebagai agen literasi Desa.

Abstract

Organizational communication is used to achieve common goals in an organization. Organizational communication is the transmission of information so as to form information flows that give rise to information networks. In understanding communication in an organization there are several perspectives that can be used, namely: Classical, Humanistic, Integration and Contemporary. Perspective is a point of view in interpreting a problem. In this study, researchers discuss comparative studies from the perspectives of organizational communication theory. Where researchers compare the advantages and weaknesses of each perspective with qualitative approaches and comparative methods. In comparative studies, each of the above perspectives has different advantages and disadvantages, and is selected according to the needs of the organization and the specific situation. However, in general, the four perspectives can be used as a guide to understanding how communication can be used to achieve organizational goals. It is important to understand that each perspective has its own advantages and disadvantages, so there is no one theory that can be used to solve all problems in organizations. Although the four perspectives of organizational communication theory have different focuses and goals, they are interrelated and can contribute to a more holistic understanding of communication in organizations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan program pencegahan stunting di Posyandu wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sukaramai Kecamatan Area. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan program pencegahan stunting di Posyandu wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sukaramai dilakukan dengan melibatkan tenaga kesehatan dari puskesmas, kader posyandu dan masyarakat. Program pencegahan stunting yang dilaksanakan di Posyandu wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sukaramai antara lain: (1) Pemenuhan gizi ibu hamil mencakup; Pemberian Makanan Tambahan (PMT) dan Pemberian Tablet Tambah Darah (PTTD), (2) Pola asuh terhadap bayi dan balita mencakup; a) Penyuluhan Inisiasi Menyusu Dini (IMD); b) Pemberian ASI eksklusif; c) Memberikan  Makanan Pendamping ASI (MP-ASI) untuk bayi hingga usia 2 tahun; d) Pemberian imunisasi dasar lengkap; e) Pemantauan pertumbuhan balita, (3) Perbaikan sanitasi dan akses air bersih mencakup; a) Penerapan Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS); b) Air layak pakai; c) Pengelolaan sampah; d) Bebas polusi udara. Analysis of the Implementation of the Stunting Prevention Program at Posyandu in the working area of the Sukaramai Health Center Medan Area DistrictAbstractThis study aims to analyze the implementation of the stunting prevention program at the Posyandu in the working area of the Sukaramai Health Center Medan Area District. This research was conducted using a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Collecting data in this study using observation techniques, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of the stunting prevention program at Posyandu in the working area of the Sukaramai Health Center was carried out by involving health workers from the health center, posyandu cadres and the community. The stunting prevention program implemented at the Posyandu in the working area of the Sukaramai Health Center includes: (1) Fulfillment of nutrition for pregnant women includes; Provision of Supplementary Food (PMT) and Provision of Blood Supplementary Tablets (PTTD), (2) Parenting patterns for infants and toddlers includes; a) Counseling on Early Breastfeeding Initiation (IMD); b) Exclusive breastfeeding; c) Providing complementary food for ASI (MP-ASI) for babies up to 2 years old; d) Provision of complete basic immunization; e) Monitoring the growth of children under five, (3) Improving sanitation and access to clean water includes; a) Implementation of Clean and Healthy Behavior (PHBS); b) Water suitable for use; c) Waste management; d) Free of air pollution.

Abstract

Dalam era globalisasi dan modernisasi, nilai-nilai tradisional Batak Toba seperti kearifan lokal Dalihan Na Tolu mulai memudar, khususnya di kalangan masyarakat perantau. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran Komunitas Punguan Pangaranto Natam dalam pelestarian kearifan lokal Dalihan Na Tolu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunitas tersebut menjalankan peran secara aktif, partisipatif, dan pasif. Peran aktif diwujudkan dalam pelaksanaan nilai somba marhula-hula, elek marboru, dan manat mardongan tubu dalam kegiatan adat dan sosial; peran partisipatif tampak dari keterlibatan sukarela anggota dalam gotong royong dan musyawarah; sedangkan peran pasif ditunjukkan dengan tetap menghormati nilai budaya melalui sikap mendengar dan mengamati. Kesimpulannya, Komunitas Punguan Pangaranto Natam mampu menghidupkan kembali kearifan lokal Dalihan Na Tolu melalui penerapan nilai-nilai budaya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari yang memperkuat identitas dan keharmonisan masyarakat Batak Toba di perantauan.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model in Integrated Thematic Learning in Elementary Schools. The main focus of this study is to analyze the suitability of the syntax in the application of the problem-based learning model in integrated thematic learning in elementary schools. Thematic learning in elementary schools is designed to improve and enrich the quality of education in a more enjoyable and meaningful way for students. The problem-based learning model is a learning model that can encourage students to actively participate in solving problems through a series of scientific method activities, so that the knowledge gained can be meaningful. The method used is a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. Data sources were obtained through primary and secondary data, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results indicate that the implementation of the PBL model has not been carried out well and effectively in Grade VI at Langkat State Elementary School. There were inconsistencies in the PBL model's syntax or steps at certain stages, such as the teacher not clearly communicating the learning objectives, insufficiently encouraging student engagement in problem-solving, and not providing reflection at the end of the lesson. Furthermore, the students were less enthusiastic and focused, resulting in the learning objectives not being optimally achieved.

Abstract

The main problem underlying this research is the low learning interest of fifth-grade students at Tiara Private Elementary School, which is evident from their lack of interest and minimal activeness in thematic learning. This research aims to comprehensively describe the content of the Crossword Puzzle media, the implementation of the Crossword Puzzle media, and the impact of its use on students' learning interest. The method used is descriptive qualitative with 30 students and their fifth-grade homeroom teachers as subjects. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, then analyzed narratively. The results show that the content of the Crossword Puzzle covers Indonesian, Science, and Mathematics materials with descending and horizontal questions that are in accordance with the thematic concept. The implementation of the Crossword Puzzle was carried out interactively and in groups, accompanied by discussions and feedback. Learning interest when the Crossword Puzzle media was applied to fifth-grade students experienced a significant increase. This increase is seen from the indicators of students' attention, involvement, and interest which are in the high category, while the aspect of feelings of pleasure reached the very high category. Overall, the level of students' learning interest is in the high category. Thus, this study shows that crossword puzzle media can be an effective learning alternative to increase students' interest in learning thematic learning.

Abstract

One of the relevant strategies to increase learning motivation is positive reinforcement, which is closely related to student motivation. Positive reinforcement is able to increase student involvement in group work through simple rewards, encouraging motivation, interest so that students are active in learning. The success of its implementation depends on the role of the teacher in designing contextual learning, such as the theme of a Clean Environment. The purpose of the research is to describe the implementation of positive reinforcement in the learning of IPA and Indonesian Language class IV SDN 060886 Medan, analyze the impact on learning motivation, and compare between subjects. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method, with a subject of 22 grade IV students. The results of this research have implications on several aspects, namely theoretical, practical, academic.
