Abstract

Abstract--- Multicultural education is an education based on the principles and principles of multiculturalism that is the concept of diversity that recognizes, accepts and affirms human differences and equations associated with gender, race and class, religion based on values and democratic understanding that builds cultural pluralism in the fight against prejudice and discrimination. As for the importance of multicultural education in Indonesia that is as an alternative means of conflict resolution, learners are expected to leave no cultural roots, and highly relevant multicultural education is used for existing democracy as it is now Keywords: Education, Multicultural  Abstrak— Pendidikan multikultural adalah pendidikan yang berlandaskan pada asas dan prinsip konsep multikulturalisme yakni konsep keberagaman yang mengakui,menerima dan menegaskan perbedaan dan persamaan manusia yang dikaitkan dengan gender, ras, dan kelas,agama berdasarkan nilai dan paham demokratis yang membangun pluralisme budaya dalam usaha memerangi prasangka dan diskriminasi. Abstract

This study aims to obtain an in-depth understanding of ideology in the Pepsodent community service ad text in Kompas Newspaper. The research approach is qualitative with critical discourse analysis techniques using Norman Fairclough's critical discourse analysis theory method that combines three dimensions in communication events, namely texts, discourse practices, and socio-cultural practices. Data sources were public service advertisements made by Pepsodent and published in Kompas 2016 Newspaper. The findings of the study showed that there was an attempt to hide the ideology behind the discourse so that the reader did not feel that through the advertisement there was an ideology that was tried to be conveyed by the advertiser through the discourse text. Ideology in the practice of discourse describes factors that influence the production of text, namely, loading or not loading, routine media, and urgency, choosing, and sorting and influencing the views of readers; and the ideology in the consumption of text is the influence of consumption, which is consuming outside information, integrating digital media, following the media agenda, consuming media content according to needs, and relying on mass media information. Ideology in socio-cultural practices illustrates how public service advertisements about dental health are so close to health conditions in Indonesia. In fact, actually the ideology of the company that produces Pepsodent, Unilever is for business purposes.

Abstract

Abstract— The purpose of this study is to find out and describe how preparedness in welcoming the 5.0 industrial revolution, especially in the field of education. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Based on the results of the discussion it can be concluded that from the presentation and some explanations about education in the industrial revolution 5.0 there is a need for readiness in welcoming and going through it. The industrial revolution is a change in the way of human life and work processes fundamentally, where the advancement of information technology can integrate in the world of life with digital which can have an impact on scientific disciplines. The Industrial Revolution Society 5.0 emphasized the readiness to think more critically, develop creativity. Based on several explanations, the authors conclude that it is indeed necessary and important for the community to prepare themselves to welcome and carry out the education of the industrial revolution 5.0 with a way of thinking that must always be introduced and accustomed to is a way of thinking to adapt in the future, namely analytical, critical, and creative. Keywords— Education, revolution, industry 5.0 Abstrak—Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan bagaimana kesiapan dalam menyambut revolusi industri 5.0 terkhusus dalam bidang pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa dari pemaparan dan beberapa penjelasan mengenai pendidikan pada revolusi industri 5.0 perlu adanya kesiapan dalam menyambut maupun akan menjalaninya. Revolusi industri merupakan sebuah perubahan cara hidup manusia dan proses kerja secara fundamental, dimana adanya kemajuan teknologi informasi dapat mengintegrasikan dalam dunia kehidupan dengan digital yang dapat memberikan dampak disiplin ilmu. Masyarakat revolusi industri 5.0 ditekankan pada kesiapan untuk lebih berpikir kritis, mengembangkan kreativitas. Berdasarkan dari beberapa penjelasan, penulis menyimpulkan bahwa memang perlu dan penting masyarakat menyiapkan diri dalam menyambut dan menjalankan pendidikan revolusi industri 5.0 dengan Cara berpikir yang harus selalu dikenalkan dan dibiasakan adalah cara berpikir untuk beradaptasi di masa depan, yaitu analitis, kritis, dan kreatif. Kata kunci— Pendidikan, revolusi, industri 5.0
