Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of training, competence, and motivation on employee performance at PT XYZ. The approach used in this study is descriptive analysis with questionnaire data research instruments. statistical analysis used in this study namely validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, using multiple linear regression analysis test, hypothesis testing using t test and f test and analysis of the coefficient of determination. The variables used in this study are training (x1), competency (x2), and motivation (x3) which are hypothesized to affect employee performance. the sample in this study amounted to 123 people using saturated and quantitative sampling methods. The results of this study can be concluded that training has the most influence on employee performance and is followed by competence and motivation. So that the leadership of PT XYZ must develop a model of training and motivation for employees to improve the quality of employee performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out and explain the leadership analysis whose job is to direct and improve employee discipline at PT. ITK which is located in Dradah Blumbang Village, Kedungpring District, Lamongan Regency, East Java. Leadership in the company is expected to be a driving force that has an important role in the continuity of organizational activities so that the level of employee discipline increases and avoids work accidents. This type of research is qualitative research with interviews, documentation and field observations. The results of the analysis show that the leadership style applied is a democratic leadership style where employees are involved in making decisions. The leadership strategy implemented by making written regulations, conducting K3 training and providing strict sanctions for violators of disciplinary rules.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of motivation and work discipline and job satisfaction on performance. The number of samples in this study were 78 employees at PT. Bank Pengkreditan Rakyat Syariah Mandiri Gresik, using the technical method Probability Sampling type Simple Random Sampling. Collecting data in this study is using questionnaire and interviews. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study concluded that the results of simultaneous testing of motivation, work discipline and job satisfaction have a significant effect on employee performance. Partial test results Motivation has a significant effect on employee performance, work discipline also has a significant effect on employee performance and job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of training, compensation and work discipline on work performance. Information obtained from the results of this study can be used as input for further researchers and companies. The population used in the study amounted to 99 people, using a total sampling method with a sample of 89 people. The research data is primary and secondary data, ,primary data obtained from questionnaires given to respondents and secondary data obtained from companies. The analytical model used in this study is a multiple linear regression analysis model. To find out the significance of the independent variable partially to the dependent variable used the t test technique. Meanwhile, to determine the effect of the independent variables as a whole on the dependent variable, the F test was used. The results showed that partially the training variable had an influence on the Work Performance variable, compensation had an effect on work performance, whilethe discipline variable had no positive effect on work performance variables. Overall the variables tested are able to explain changes in employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of individual characteristics, work motivation and organizational support on employee performance (PNS Staff) at the Population and Civil Registry Service, Gresik Regency, East Java Province. This study took a sample of 30 people using a saturated sampling technique while measuring data using a Likert scale. The analysis technique uses test instruments (validity test and reliability test) to test the quality and consistency of measuring instruments, model test/classical assumption test (normality test, multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test). The results of the study stated that individual characteristics, work motivation and organizational support had a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees at the Population and Civil Registry Service, Gresik Regency, East Java Province. Based on the results of the t test, the three independent variables have a partial effect. The final conclusion is that the variables of individual characteristics, work motivation, and organizational support are able to explain changes in performance variables.

Abstract

Career development, is a planning process that allows employees to identify career goals and paths that lead to these goals. This study aims to determine the role of Perumda BPR Bank Gresik in the career development of its employees. The research method used is qualitative research using a case study model, which is an in-depth and detailed research for an area that has a certain background, one research subject, one document or one event. The results of this study indicate that to assist the career development of its employees, human resource management Perumda BPR Bank Gresik has conducted continuous training and there is an evaluation in the process so that training can run optimally in employee career development. Including legal training, banking training and others that have certification for employee development. In addition, Perumda BPR Bank Gresik also helps employee career development through promotions starting from the organisational structure that has been agreed by the board of directors. However, Perumda BPR Bank Gresik does not carry out mutations for employees because the reason is that the placement of employees who are already suitable if overhauled will damage employee performance.

Abstract

Basically, economic development can not only be measured by an increase in the production of goods or services, but can also be seen from the economic aspect and other changes, such as developments in technology, developments in education, available infrastructure, improvements in health, and also can be seen from the increase in income and prosperity of the community. The development of the industrial sector in an area can be marked by the emergence of creative and innovative businesses such as SMEs. One of the potential businesses that many people are engaged in is in the field of handicrafts. In order to be able to increase competitiveness globally, it is expected that economic actors engaged in the handicraft industry are directed to produce a product in the form of goods of high quality and value so that later it is expected to have competitiveness both at home and abroad. Bird cage crafts in the Balongpanggang sub-district have been established for generations. The number of bird cage craft home industries in the region continues to increase. The majority of the population in several villages in the Balongpanggang sub-district choose to become bird cage craftsmen rather than other jobs. The village community continues to pursue bird cage crafts because the results of this work can meet the needs of daily life which so far are still lacking or indeed not fulfilled from agricultural products and can increase income.

Abstract

Currently, technological developments are accompanied by the development of digital money, therefore a complete understanding of digital money needs to be known by all people, including students at the secondary level, including SMA Muhammadiyah 8 Cerme. The problem that occurs in SMA Muhammadiyah 8 Cerme students is that some students do not yet have a comprehensive understanding of digital money, its urgency, benefits and its relation to business, so digital money literacy needs to be socialized. The method used in this activity was outreach to 70 students of SMA Muhammadiyah 8 Cerme. This activity has several. The expected output is that the participants' knowledge increases. The method used is the socialization method through in-class seminars. The result of this service activity is that the participants can find out about the concepts of digital money, have been able to understand the various types of digital money, have a wise awareness in using digital money and the participants can associate digital money with the business to be carried out, and can see business opportunities with digital money.

Abstract

The problem that occurs when prospective high school graduates feel hesitant to choose to become an entrepreneur is they do not have capital, do not have a unique business idea, are not ready for the risks, do not have family support, are unsure of their own abilities, do not know where to start, and want to seek experience. formerly. However, activities to foster interest in entrepreneurship continue to be pursued including double track program activities, which are expected to increase motivation, as well as SMA Muhammadiyah 8 Cerme needs to continue to carry out outreach, seminars, events, other festivals that lead to activities to increase entrepreneurial capacity so that they are increased quality and quantity. Therefore, training in entrepreneurship to innovate through design thinking is important in equipping prospective graduates to have the knowledge and preparation with the best assets they currently have. This activity is intended so that prospective graduates or high school students who have received this socialization will be able to have entrepreneurial skills that are useful when starting a business of their own. This activity was carried out offline at the SMA Muhammadiyah 8 Cerme Gresik location. The method used with socialization is in the form of in-class seminars. The results of the dedication show that the participants have shown a good understanding of the effectuation material presented and the participants are ready to implement it on their current assets, businesses and products.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship education is implemented as an elective subject in various tertiary faculties with the aim of producing graduates who become job creators. The rapid growth of entrepreneurship education has been fueled by declining employment and a desire to self-manage. The aims of this research are 1) To find out how to make an entrepreneur education model that is effectively applied. 2) Describe how to measure the success of entrepreneur-based universities in forming young entrepreneurs. 3) Analyze student behavior when implementing the entrepreneurship education model through existing programs. This research includes qualitative research. Data collection resulted from in-depth interviews with 5 batch 2017-2021 entrepreneurship study program students, some of whom are already alumni, 6 teaching lecturers, Head of the Laboratory & Business Incubation Center, Head of the Entrepreneurship Study Program, Dean of the Faculty of Economics & Business and Chancellor of Muhammadiyah University of Gresik. The results of this study are an effective entrepreneur education model that includes building an entrepreneur mentality, design workshops and seminars, project-based learning, and sustainable business/entrepreneur project courses. The success of forming young entrepreneurs is measured through the stages of the Entrepreneur Project, including the creation of new product/service prototypes with the principle of entrepreneur decision-making (Effectuation), validation of business models and product/service prototypes through customer testing, product launches with at least two repairs, and innovation. with 10 types of structured innovation. Student behavior shows enthusiasm for innovation, but the effectiveness of understanding in making business decisions still needs development
