Abstract

The present study aims to support the hypotheses proposed in the research model to prove the fact that the suggested variables can contribute towards performance improvement. The study offers a novel variable namely ergo-iconic service value. The object of this study includes 118 three-star hotels located in the business districts of the Special Capital Region of Jakarta and West Java. The study used questionnaires that were distributed to hotel managers to acquire research data. The ergo-iconic service value as a mediating variable is proven to improve the marketing performance of the hotels. Other variables, namely, the ability to implement management system certification and the ability to adapt to technology also increase the mediating role of ergo-iconic service value. The hypotheses are empirically proven as all three variables successfully improved the hotels' marketing performance. The current research also shows that the role of humans is still significant, and human presence is required to improve performance despite the fact that we are currently at the Industry 4.0 era; in this case, not all activities should be taken over by robots.

Abstract

 Peranan manajemen sumber daya manusia pada organisasi sangatlah penting, oleh karena itu manajemen sumber daya manusia harus dikelola secara profesional. Pengelolaan pegawai secara profesional ini harus dimulai sejak perekrutan pegawai, penyeleksian, pengklasifikasian, penempatan pegawai sesuai dengan kemampuan, penataran, dan pengembangan kariernya. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan manajemen sumber daya manusia yang mengatur dan mengatasi masalah-masalah yang berhubungan dengan kepegawaian, baik dalam hal administrasi, pembagian tugas maupun pada kegiatan manajemen sumber daya manusia lainnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) Untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan terhadap prestasi kerja Pegawai Balai Wilayah Sungai Sumatera IV Batam, 2) Untuk menganalisis pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap prestasi kerja Pegawai Balai Wilayah Sungai Sumatera IV Batam, dan 3) Untuk menganalisis pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap prestasi kerja Pegawai Balai Wilayah Sungai Sumatera IV Batam. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dan verifikatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai negeri sipil di Balai Wilayah Sungai Sumatera IV Batam yang berjumlah 39 orang. Analisis statistik yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan yang telah berjalan selama ini berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan prestasi kerja Pegawai Balai Wilayah Sungai Sumatera IV Batam, budaya organisasi yang dijalankan selama ini berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan prestasi kerja Pegawai Balai Wilayah Sungai Sumatera IV Batam, dan motivasi kerja pegawai berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan prestasi kerja Pegawai Balai Wilayah Sungai Sumatera IV Batam. Kata kunci: Prestasi Kerja, Kepemimpinan, Budaya Organisasi, Motivasi Kerja

Abstract

In this article, we introduce a new hybrid model called Dual Hesitant N-Soft Sets (DHNSS). This new model is clarified and reformulated as a combination of dual and hesitancy with N-soft sets. We investigate the basic operations of DHNSS. Our novel model is illustrated with real life examples. Moreover, we propose the decision making algorithm to see the application of this model.

Abstract

Taxpayer compliance that has been studied so far is a formal compliance in terms of reporting the Annual SPT. Where the formal compliance is in the form of whether or not the taxpayer has reported the Annual SPT and whether the reporting of the Annual SPT is on time or late. The purpose of this study was to determine the strategy of data utilization on taxpayer compliance at the Payakumbuh Pratama Tax Service Office. In this study using a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The researcher's data collection technique used interviews. From the results of the study, it was found that the strategy of utilizing taxation data on taxpayer compliance had not yet fully taken the right steps in increasing taxpayer compliance. In this study, it is hoped that it can be used as reference material to add to the literature and develop knowledge about taxpayer compliance. In addition, it can be an evaluation material for the Payakumbuh Primary Tax Service Office to constantly improve and improve the performance and quality of its employees

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership style, work discipline and work motivation on employee performance at the Education and Culture Office of the Mentawai Islands District. This is motivated by the unstable leadership style in the work environment, employee discipline that is still not high, and work motivation is still low, resulting in the completion of the work not being on target at the Mentawai Islands District of Education and Culture Office. This type of research uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression method. Data collection techniques with questionnaires and observations. The respondents of this study were 55 employees of the Department of Education and Culture of the Mentawai Islands District. The sampling method used the total sampling method where the entire population in this study was used as the research sample. Hypothesis testing was calculated using the IBM Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 24.0 program. From the results of this study, it was found that partially leadership style has a significant effect on employee performance, work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance, work motivation has no significant effect on employee performance and leadership style, work discipline and work motivation simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance at the Education and Culture Office of the Mentawai Islands District.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan hasil belajar matematika siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching Learning dengan model pembelajaran konvensional, perbedaan hasil belajar matematika siswa yang memiliki gaya belajar kinestetik dengan gaya belajar visual, dan menganalisis interaksi antara model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching Learning dan gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar  matematika siswa. Sampel ditetapkan sebanyak 60 orang  terdiri dari 2 (dua) kelas.  Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah desain eksperimen. Hasil penelitian dikemukakan bahwa hasil belajar siswa menggunakan model CTL lebih tinggi daripada kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Hasil belajar menggunakan model CTL memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar adalah 89,73, sedangkan hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan pembelajaran konvensional nilai rata-rata hasil belajar sebesar 84,00.  Hasil belajar siswa memiliki gaya belajar kinestetik lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang diajar memiliki gaya belajar visual. Siswa memiliki gaya velajar kinestetik memperoleh nilai rata-rata hasil belajar sebesar 89,76, sedangkan hasil belajar siswa yang memiliki gaya belajar visual memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 84,16. Terdapat interaksi antara penggunaan metode pembelajaran dan gaya belajar dalam memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa teruji kebenarannya. Hasil uji Anava 2x2 membuktikan bahwa harga sig=0,015 sehingga hasil hitung sig=0,015<sigα=0,05

Abstract

AbstractIn 2019, the Mayor of Payakumbuh began to build a city branding titled "Payakumbuh, The City of Randang". The Mayor of Payakumbuh emphasized to the world community that Payakumbuh City is a Rendang City with the advantage that it has a Rendang Village and a modern and standardized center for rendang processing. Furthermore, this study will explain how the innovative leadership of the Mayor of Payakumbuh in building the city branding "Payakumbuh, The City of Randang". This research method uses descriptive qualitative. The research data was obtained from primary data through the main resource persons, namely the Mayor of Payakumbuh and other fairly representative informants. Secondary data by citing books, journals, documents and online media. The data analysis technique in this research is through data reduction, data display and drawing conclusions. The results of the study reveal that the development of the city branding "Payakumbuh, The City of Randang" is driven by the innovative leadership of the Mayor of Payakumbuh who is visionary, collaborative, risk-taking and change-oriented. Although the collaborative dimension is not yet optimal, the Mayor of Payakumbuh has succeeded in developing all the potential of existing resources towards improving the quality of processes and products that are more effective, efficient and relevant.AbstrakPada tahun 2019, Walikota Payakumbuh mulai membangun city branding bertajuk “Payakumbuh, The City of Randang”. Walikota Payakumbuh menegaskan kepada masyarakat dunia bahwa Kota Payakumbuh adalah Kota Rendang dengan keunggulannya yaitu memiliki Kampung Rendang dan pusat pengolahan rendang secara modern dan terstandarisasi. Lebih lanjut, penelitian ini akan menjelaskan bagaimana kepemimpinan inovatif Walikota Payakumbuh dalam membangun city branding “Payakumbuh, The City of Randang“. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif. Data penelitian didapatkan dari data primer melalui narasumber utama yaitu Walikota Payakumbuh dan informan lainnya yang cukup representatif. Data skunder dengan mengutip buku, jurnal, dokumen dan media online. Teknik analisa data dalam penelitian ini melalui reduksi data, display data dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa pembangunan city branding “Payakumbuh, The City of Randang” didorong oleh kepemimpinan inovatif Walikota Payakumbuh yang visoner, kolaboratif, berani mengambil resiko dan berorientasi perubahan. Meskipun pada dimensi kolaboratif belum begitu optimal, namun Walikota Payakumbuh berhasil mengembangkan segenap potensi sumber daya yang ada menuju pada peningkatan mutu proses dan produk yang lebih efektif, efisien dan relevan.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the observations of researchers with the findings of a lack of the student worksheet (LKPD) teaching materials in learning in Elementary School theme 5 Entrepreneurship, the subject matter of Magnets to improve scientific literacy at the elementary level. The purpose of the research is to produce LKPD based on Discovery Learning to improve students' scientific literacy on magnetic material in class VI. The development model chosen in this research is the development of the ADDIE model with the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The results of the Validation Test stated that the LKPD of the Discovery learning model to improve Science Literacy was very valid to be used at 3.58 or 89.5%. Meanwhile, in the Practicality test, which is seen from the responses of teachers and students, it is stated that practical learning media is used with a percentage of 90.1%. 13 students like learning media or 92.8%. To test the effectiveness of the LKPD it affects the activities and learning outcomes of students before and after use. The use of LKPD also succeeded in increasing students' scientific literacy with 5 indicator competencies referring to PISA from 45.17% to 97.14%. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that LKPD Discovery Learning can improve students' scientific literacy and is very valid, practical, and effective in the learning process in class VI theme 5 Entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan rendahnya hasil belajar siswa adalah penggunaan model pembelajaran yang tidak optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan motivasi dan hasil belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe two stay two stray dan jigsaw pada kelas IV SD Siswah. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Quasi Experiment dengan Post-Test Only Design. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar angket motivasi dan pertanyaan postest hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan dalam motivasi belajar siswa dapat dilihat dari nilai thitung lebih besar daripada ttabel (4,014 > 2,036933). Sedangkan ditinjau dari hasil belajar nilai t hitung sebesar 0,765 < 2,036933 (t tabel) maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh hasil belajar yang signifikan (nyata) antara siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran TSTS dan model pembelajaran jigsaw atau siswa yang diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe two stay two stray memiliki hasil belajar matematika yang sama dengan siswa yang diterapkan model pembelajaran tipe jigsaw. Melalui pengujian Uji F diperoleh nilai sig. sebesar 0,002 < 0,05 yang artinya ke dua model pembelajaran (TSTS dan Jigsaw) memiliki kemampuan yang sama dalam mempengaruhi motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar siswa secara simultan/ keseluruhan dan bersama sama.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the implementation of character education program policies at Senior High School (SMAN) 2 Sipora in Mentawai Islands Regency, this is motivated by the weakness of the internal quality assurance system for character education. implementation as a need to ensure the quality of character education, deviant behavior among school-age teenagers, the lack of distribution of character education for students, and the lack distribution of character education to students by teachers at SMAN 2 Sipora. This type of research uses a quantitative approach with a multiple linear regression method. Data collection techniques with questionnaires. The respondents of this study were 56 teachers at SMAN 2 Sipora. The sampling method used the total sampling method where the entire population in this study was used as the research sample. Hypothesis testing is calculated with the IBM Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 24.0 program. From the results of this study, it was found that partial communication had no significant effect on the implementation of character education program policies, resources had a significant effect on the implementation of character education program policies, disposition had a significant effect on the implementation of character education program policies, the bureaucratic structure had a significant effect on the implementation of character education program policies at SMAN 2 Sipora. Simultaneously, communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure significantly influence the implementation of character education program policies at SMAN 2 Sipora.
