Abstract

This research which aims to determine the effect of the main tasks and functions on the performance of Civil Servants at the Regional Secretariat of the Mentawai Islands Regency is motivated by the existence of complaints and public dissatisfaction with the service that is not good and factual, there are still civil servants who do not understand the main tasks and functions, employee performance is still classified as not good, there are still employees who lack mastery of their work, there are many employees who carry out indirect work once so, so that the time required is longer and does not match the existing time standards, and there are still employees who have not carried out work duties in accordance with the objectives set at the Regional Secretariat of the Mentawai Islands District. This type of research uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression method. Data collection techniques with questionnaires. The respondents of this study were 90 Civil Servants at the Regional Secretariat of the Mentawai Islands District. The sampling method used the total sampling method where the entire population in this study was used as the research sample. Hypothesis testing is calculated with the IBM Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 24.0 program. From the results of this study it was found that partially the main tasks have a significant effect on performance, functions have a significant effect on performance, and simultaneously the main tasks and functions have a significant effect on the performance of Civil Servants at the Regional Secretariat of the Mentawai Islands District.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan 11 famili calon induk yang terbaik berdasar sintasan PL10. Tiga sumber Daya Genetik/SDG (Aa,Bb,Cc) yang masing-masing 120 pasang dikawinkan resiprokal. Sebagai kontrol dikawinkan SDG Kk yang terdiri 15 pasang. Perkawinan dilakukan di 8 bak @10 m2. Pemijahan dilakukan di 40 bak @220 liter. Pakan induk berupa cacing laut dan tiram. Pemeliharaan larva dilakukan pada 50 bak @600 liter dengan kepadatan 100 ekor/liter. Pakan larva berupa fitoplankton, pakan buatan dan nauplius artemia. Pemijahan selama 3 hari menghasilkan induk matang gonad 72 ekor (7,6%/hari), induk kawin 34 ekor (47,2%), induk mijah 32 ekor (94,1%), rerata fekunditas 157.063±36.565 butir/induk, produksi naupli 106.414±41.399 ekor/induk dengan daya tetas 69,4±21,7%. Dari 32 pemijahan yang mampu menetas 29 famili, nauplius yang layak ditebar terdiri 27 famili dan menghasilkan 22 famili PL10 dengan rerata sintasan 60,2±20,3%. Dari 22 famili diambil 11 famili keturunan induk hasil seleksi dengan sintasan terbaik dan 1 famili kontrol yaitu Ca1;Cc1;Ca3;Aa2;Bc2;Cb2;Bb3;Cc4;Ab2;Ab3;Cc2 dan Kk2 dengan sintasan masing-masing famili 89%;86%;79%;77%;76%;75%;71%;70%;70%;68% dan 63%.

Abstract

The performance and management of apparatus resources continues to receive comprehensive and gradual improvements by prioritizing or being based on competency. One of the efforts made by the Payakumbuh City Government, West Sumatra Province, is implementing a policy of equalizing administrative positions into functional positions at the end of December 2021. Therefore, researchers are interested in analyzing the influence of career development, organizational commitment and work discipline on the performance of administrative officials which is equated to a functional position in the Payakumbuh City Government. This research is quantitative descriptive and uses Structural Model Assessment (SMA) hypothesis testing. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents. Sampling used the purposive sampling method. Hypothesis testing using SmartPLS. The research results show that: (1) career development partially has a positive and significant effect on performance; (2) organizational commitment partially has a positive and significant effect on performance; and (3) work discipline partially has a positive and significant effect on performance. Based on the results of this research, leaders need to adopt policies regarding increasing career development, work discipline and organizational commitment to optimize performance.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu, mendeskripsikan hasil belajar matematika siswa yang belajar menggunakan model Index Card Match pada hasil belajar matematika siswa yang menggnakan model Make a Match. Perbedaan hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan pola asuh orangtuanya secara demokratis melalui pola asuhnya orangtua secara otoriter. Hubungan  antar model pembelajaran dan pola asuh orangtua pada hasil belajar matematika siswa di kelas V SD Kecamatan Garoga. Populasi yang ada di dalam penelitian ini, yaitu siswa kelas V SD di Kecamatan Garoga Kabupaten Tapanuli Utara berjumlah 426 orang. Sampel ditetapkan sebanyak 60 orang yakni murid kelas V SD Negeri 173229 Parinsoran Tapanuli Utara menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Jenis penelitian adalah kuantittif dengan desain penelitiannya memakai desain eksperimen dengan faktorial 2x2. Intsrumen pengumpul data yang dipakai berjenis tes. Analisis datanya dikumpulkan melalui tes menggunakan SPSS 25. Temuan penelitiannya diuraikan bahwasanya termuat bedanya hasil belajar matematika siswa memakai model Index Card Match dengan model Make a Match. Hasil belajar matematika siswa memakai model Index Card Match rata-rata sejumlah 89,63 dan hasil belajar matematika siswa memakai model Make a Match rata-rata sebesar 83,30. Peneliti menyimpulkan termuat perbedaan hasil belajar matematika siswa melalui pola asuh demokratis yang pola asuhnya otoriter. Murid melalui pola asuh demokratis meraih penilaian rata-rata hasil belajar matematika sejumlah 89,72 dan hasil belajar siswa yang pola asuhnya otoriter sejumlah 83,42. Terdapat interaksi model pembelajaran serta pola asuh orangtuanya dalam memengaruhi hasil belajar matematika siswa signifikan 0,009<0,05.

Abstract

This study aims to prove that the new concept of reciprocal pricing can affect the improvement of MSME performance. This study uses a quantitative approach with the sample technique used is Cluster Random Sampling This technique is taken with the argument that this research was conducted in several areas, namely, the tourism area of MSMEs street food vendors, then the building owner sells drinks or other products that are not similar. There were 175 MSMEs that became the object of research using the SEM AMOS analysis tool. Empirical evidence proves that Reciprocal pricing is able to encourage the improvement of MSME performance. Implement a marketing strategy strategy that focuses on building and maintaining marketing relationships between one business unit and another for the long term with the aim of providing different value to customers from competitors. The novelty of this research is Reciprocal Pricing, which is the concept of reciprocal pricing by two or more business units that provide mutual benefits to the agreed price, this variable is thought to improve performance. The implication is that efforts to improve the performance of MSMEs need to use the concept of Reciprocal Pricing in this research which is proven to encourage the improvement of MSME performance. The implementation of reciprocal pricing in improving the performance of MSMEs in tourism areas is proven to increase the number of consumers.

Abstract

Regional Budget of Revenue and Expenditure Management in Jambi Province is not yet optimal, due to the inadequate ratio between direct and indirect expenditure. The purposes of this research are to: 1) examine the impact of District Own-Source Revenue and equalization fund 1individually towards local government financial performance on regency/city of Jambi Province 12016-2020; 2) examine the significance of District Own-Source Revenue and equalization fund impact simultaneously towards local government financial performance on regency/city of Jambi Province 12016-2020; dan 3) examine whether capital expenditures is capable to become the moderating variable 1between District Own-Source Revenue and equalization fund with local government financial performance on regency/city of Jambi Province 2016-2020. This research uses the type of causal research. The population of this research is regency/city government in Jambi Province which consists of 9 regencies and 2 cities. Data analysis technique that is used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. The result indicates that: 1) individually District Own-Source Revenue gives positive and significant impact towards local government financial performance, meanwhile equalization fund gives negative and significant impact towards local government financial performance; 2) both District Own-Source Revenue and equalization Fund significantly impact local government financial performance; and 3) based on residual test results, it shows that capital expenditures is the only variable that is able to moderate the correlation between District Own-Source Revenue towards local government financial performance.

Abstract

Salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan rendahnya hasil belajar siswa adalah penggunaan model pembelajaran yang tidak optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan motivasi dan hasil belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe two stay two stray dan jigsaw pada kelas IV SD Siswah. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Quasi Experiment dengan Post-Test Only Design. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar angket motivasi dan pertanyaan postest hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan dalam motivasi belajar siswa dapat dilihat dari nilai thitung lebih besar daripada ttabel (4,014 > 2,036933). Sedangkan ditinjau dari hasil belajar nilai t hitung sebesar 0,765 < 2,036933 (t tabel) maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh hasil belajar yang signifikan (nyata) antara siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran TSTS dan model pembelajaran jigsaw atau siswa yang diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe two stay two stray memiliki hasil belajar matematika yang sama dengan siswa yang diterapkan model pembelajaran tipe jigsaw. Melalui pengujian Uji F diperoleh nilai sig. sebesar 0,002 < 0,05 yang artinya ke dua model pembelajaran (TSTS dan Jigsaw) memiliki kemampuan yang sama dalam mempengaruhi motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar siswa secara simultan/ keseluruhan dan bersama sama.

Abstract

This study focuses on modeling organizational agility based on a synthetic construct, namely automatic patch work behavior, which is proposed, conceptualized, and confirmed by theoretical validation, empirical validation, and nomological validation. The research model involved 219 respondents from the Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) employees in West Sulawesi Province through cluster sampling techniques accompanied by eligible control of inclusion and exclusion samples, data were obtained using an e-questionnaire in December 2024. Structural equation modeling analysis confirmed that this study was able to present theoretical contributions in the field of strategic human resource management by positioning automatic patch work behavior as a new and meaningful entity and impacting that automatic patch work behavior allows for linking work behavior to organizational agility in an era of environmental uncertainty. Practical implications were identified through the ability of automatic patch work behavior directly or through the mediation of employees' dynamic capabilities and employee agility to encourage increased organizational agility. The locus of this research was conducted in government agencies, but this research model can also be replicated in business companies, so that employee characteristics (including automatic patch work behavior) in various workplaces in their contribution to organizational sustainability (including organizational agility) can be confirmed more comprehensively and represented, and equipped with ideas and research models that are always updated.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of the Think Pair Share (TPS) and Problem Based Learning (PBL) models in improving students’ critical thinking and mathematical problem-solving abilities in Grade XI at SMAN 2 Sijunjung. The research was motivated by the gap between students’ learning interest and higher-order cognitive performance in probability material. A quantitative quasi-experimental design with a 2×2 factorial structure was employed, involving two equivalent classes (XI F-4 = TPS; XI F-5 = PBL; total n = 64). Data were collected through four-item essay tests based on Facione’s indicators of critical thinking and Polya’s steps of problem solving. Instrument validity, reliability, difficulty, and discrimination indices were verified before administration. The findings revealed that TPS outperformed PBL in both critical thinking (mean = 85.06 vs 80.00; F = 18.240; p < 0.05) and problem-solving skills (mean = 82.46 vs 77.63; F = 15.689; p < 0.05). Within-model comparisons also showed higher critical-thinking scores than problem-solving ones in both groups. These results confirm that TPS effectively fosters reasoning, argumentation, and structured analytical processes within limited instructional time, while PBL is better suited for long-term contextual application. The study concludes that structured social interaction significantly contributes to the development of higher-order thinking skills, and future research should explore retention effects and the sequential integration of TPS → PBL models.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Altman z-score method on financial distress with the independent variables namely WCTA, RETA, EBITTA, MVETL, and STA on the dependent variable, namely Financial Distress. In manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2016-2020. Based on the research results that have been described previously, it can be concluded that:In calculating the Altman z-score method in the research year the company is categorized: Safe : CTRA company for 3 years of research, Gray Area : SQBB company for 5 years research, Financial distress: BTEK and AISA companies for 3 years of research. The ratio of Working Capital to Total Assets (WCTA) has a significant effect on Financial Distress. The ratio of Retained Earnings to Total Assets (RETA) has no significant effect on Financial Distress. The ratio of Earnings Before Interest and Taxes to Total Assets (EBITTA) has a significant effect on Financial Distress. The Market Value of Equity to Total Liability (MVETL) ratio has no significant effect on Financial Distress.Ratio of Sales to Total Assets (STA) has a significant effect on Financial Distress. Recommendations for companies to maintain financial ratios (WCTA, RETA, EBTTA, MVETL, and STA) so that companies avoid bankruptcy and can still strive to create improvements to financial ratios (WCTA, EBITTA, and STA) based on research these ratios have a significant effect to financial distress. For researchers to be able to further develop research similar to financial distress such as bankruptcy risk, as well as analysis of financial ratios that can be expanded to do better. In this case, it is not only the types of food and beverage industry companies, but also other types of industrial companies. Subsequent research can use a period of more than five years so that it is expected to be a useful comparison basis for further research.
