Abstract

This study investigated students’ satisfaction with administrative services at the Senior High School level in the Yogyakarta area. Using a quantitative descriptive approach, data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed to 104 students and analyzed using descriptive statistics. The findings of the study indicated that the overall level of student satisfaction was categorized as “good,” with a mean score of 3.4 and a dominant median value of 4 across 12 service indicators. Key service aspects, such as comfort of service space, adequacy of facilities, responsiveness, clarity of communication, empathy, and non-discrimination, received good ratings, although some indicators, particularly those related to complaint handling and physical comfort, needed improvement. This study highlights the importance of continuous improvement in service quality to meet students’ expectations and strengthen the reputation of the institution. Future research is encouraged to adopt a longitudinal design to assess the sustainability of service improvements and explore the determinants of satisfaction in varying educational contexts.

The primary data sources were the school principal and treasurer, with supporting documents as secondary sources. This research was conducted at Muhammadiyah Girikerto Elementary School, Sleman, Special Region of Yogyakarta. Data analysis involved data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the school has implemented a comprehensive financing strategy encompassing planning, execution, and evaluation stages. Despite limited resources, the school has effectively addressed financing challenges, ensuring the continuity of teaching and learning activities. These findings underscore the importance of a robust financing resilience strategy in maintaining educational quality, particularly in developing schools with limited resources.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low environmental literacy and academic achievement of elementary school students. The study aims to measure the effect of Android-based STEM-AR on students' environmental literacy. A quantitative research method with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design was used. A total of 31 fifth-grade elementary school students in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, were randomly selected from nine public schools. The research instruments included a lesson plan and an Augmented Reality (AR) medium accessible via Android smartphones. STEM was used as a reference for structuring subject matter. The treatment was conducted four times, each lasting 70 minutes. Students' environmental literacy was measured before and after the treatment using a validated multiple-choice test. Data analysis employed a t-test with a 5% significance level. The Paired Sample Test results showed a sig(2-tailed) value of 0.001 0.05, which led to the rejection of the null hypothesis and acceptance of the alternative hypothesis. This study contributes to proving that Android-based STEM-AR positively influences elementary school students' environmental literacy.

This study not only measures the relationship between organizational culture and teacher performance but also finds an essential foundation for madrasah in building organizational culture and how to improve their performance. A descriptive quantitative approach is used in this research; data collection is done through surveys and the preparation of research instruments. The results show that, in general, the organizational culture is quite good, the values, teamwork, and work performance are also good, while in performance, teachers generally have various levels of achievement, satisfaction, responsibility, honesty, empathy, and persistence in work. In madrasah, organizational culture is related to teacher performance so a superior organizational culture will affect teachers' performance; on the other hand, educational institutions that cannot build a good culture result in decreased teacher performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role and contribution of transformational leadership in enhancing teachers’ work motivation, particularly in the context of primary education. Using a scoping review approach, this study synthesizes empirical research published between 2020 and 2025, focusing on the relationship between principals’ transformational leadership practices and teacher motivation. The data were collected from open-access academic databases, including Science Direct, Google Scholar, and Open Knowledge Maps, using the keywords “transformational leadership” and “teacher work motivation.” The review identified seven relevant empirical studies that consistently demonstrate a positive and significant influence of transformational leadership on teachers’ motivation and performance. The analysis highlights four key dimensions of transformational leadership that contribute to improving teacher motivation: idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration. Effective principals inspire teachers through vision, emotional engagement, intellectual encouragement, and personal attention, thereby fostering professional growth and organizational commitment. The findings emphasize that the better the implementation of transformational leadership, the higher the teachers’ motivation and work satisfaction, ultimately improving school effectiveness and educational outcomes.
