Abstract

The eastern coastal communities of Bangka Island are vulnerable to ecological disasters. This is due to the destruction of mangrove forests in the area, one of which is the impact of tin mining activities. Mangroves play a role in mitigating the climate crisis. Therefore, efforts to rehabilitate damaged mangrove forests should be carried out massively. The problems currently faced by partners are: 1) Partners do not yet have the skills to rehabilitate mangrove multiplanting systems; and 2) Partners do not have knowledge regarding the multiplanting system. This activity aims to: 1) Help partners rehabilitate mangrove forests damaged by multiplanting systems with a high success rate; and 2) Restore the function of the mangrove forest ecosystem as a habitat for aquatic biota as a commodity caught by fishermen around the forest location. The outputs resulting from this activity are: 1) Increase in mangrove forest area using a multiplanting system; 2) Increasing community understanding and skills to conserve mangrove forests; and 3) Availability of mangrove nurseries. Implementation of PkM on the coast of Kekerjak Village and Batu Be Lubang Village. The activity method is participatory or involves the Kedetik and Batu Be Lubang Village Governments in the PkM stage which is focused on two activities, namely socialization and implementation of activities. As a result of the activities, the mangrove plants planted in the multiplanting system grew well. The planted plant seeds are protected with sacks filled with sand so they don't get washed away by the waves. Replacement is carried out for dead mangroves. Multiplanting system planting using more than one tree in one planting hole is expected to have better survival compared to one tree in one planting hole.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aimed to formulate a circular economy-based waste management strategy to support the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Pangkalpinang City. Research Methodology: This study employs a descriptive quantitative approach using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). It involves 15 stakeholders from the Pentahelix sectors (government, business actors, academics, community organizations, and media) to evaluate five criteria—government policy, infrastructure, community participation, recycling technology, and economic impact— and five strategic alternatives: enhancing recycling facilities, environmental education, strengthening regulations, implementing automation technology, and providing economic incentives. Results: The analysis revealed that strengthening government regulations (weight: 1.469) is the top strategic priority, highlighting the central role of policy and enforcement in sustainable waste management. This is followed by enhancing recycling facilities (0.901) and implementing automation technologies (0.899). Among the criteria, community participation was the most influential factor (27.01%), underscoring the importance of public involvement in sorting, recycling, and reducing waste generation. Conclusions: An integrated circular economy-based strategy emphasizing regulatory reinforcement and active community participation is essential for sustainable urban waste management in Pangkalpinang. Limitations: This study is limited to stakeholders within Pangkalpinang City and excludes broader regional perspectives and behavioral aspects of the wider population. Contribution: This study provides a practical framework for policymakers and stakeholders to design multisectoral waste management strategies that balance environmental, social, and economic dimensions, thereby aligning local practices with SDGs.

Abstract

Abstract

In the realm of marketing, certain facets often find themselves relegated to the periphery, overlooked and underestimated. This theoretical exploration delves into strategies for reviving these neglected elements, aiming to reclaim their significance within the broader marketing landscape. In the dynamic world of consumer behavior and evolving market trends, it becomes imperative to reassess and reinvigorate those components that have been marginalized over time. This study postulates that a theoretical foundation can catalyze innovation, offering marketers a blueprint for revitalizing overlooked aspects. By challenging conventional norms and engaging in theoretical discourse, professionals can uncover latent potential and undiscovered opportunities within their marketing arsenal. The theoretical lens allows for a comprehensive examination of the overlooked facets, dissecting the intricacies that may have led to their neglect. This process not only facilitates a deeper understanding of the dynamics at play but also sets the stage for strategic interventions. As marketing evolves, embracing a theoretical framework becomes paramount in deciphering the nuances of consumer psychology, technology integration, and societal shifts, ultimately empowering marketers to breathe new life into forgotten realms and redefine the boundaries of effective engagement.

Abstract

Regional autonomy provides opportunities and challenges for Regional Governments to manage and explore sources of Regional Revenue. As the Capital of the Province, Pangkalpinang still relies on transfers, fund and yet their regional revenue is very low. This study tries to identify and map tax and levy revenues in Pangkalpinang and then formulate strategic recommendations that the Government may consider increasing regional revenue. This study analyzes the effectiveness, contribution, and growth of regional tax and retribution revenue in Pangkalpinang between 2016 and 2020. The contribution and growth analysis results are the basis for the Klassen analysis. This study's results indicate that tax revenue's effectiveness in the Pangkalpinang rate is 114.54%, while the effectiveness of retribution is 96.61%. The regional tax revenue with the largest contribution is street lighting tax, which contributes 36.49%. In contrast, the largest contribution of retribution is the revenue from the use of regional wealth, which is 25.05%. Based on Klassen's analysis, knowing that four sectors are in the developing category, four sectors are in the advanced but depressed category, five sectors are in the potential category, and the remaining nineteen sectors are in the lagging category. Therefore, the researcher suggests that the Government focus on developing and developing depressed sectors if they want to increase local tax and retribution revenues in the short term. However, they must focus on developing potential sectors if they're going to increase regional tax and levy revenues long-term.
