Abstract

Meranti Islands District is one of the development areas of national food security as the biggest sago producer in Indonesia. The area of sago palm Meranti Islands District is 38 163 ha. Tebing Tinggi Subdistrict West has a land area of 2,573 hectares. This study aims to look at the differences sago cultivation techniques in wet and dry land in the District of West Tebing Tinggi,  Meranti Islands. This research has been conducted in the district of West Tebing Tinggi,  Meranti Islands regency in Riau province. Implementation of this research was conducted during one month is in September and October 2016. The method applied was a survey and observation. Determining soil sample in this study using the purposive random sampling method. The data collected in this study the primary data and secondary data. Data were analyzed by t-test in the form of quantitative and qualitative data is presented in Table. The results showed no significant  impact, either care, maintenance, HPT control, time of harvest and only significant in the weed control. The type of sago in Sub Tebing Tinggi Southwestern namely tuni, ihur and molat and different harvested based on age, and through the development phase of the sago palm. Keywords : Study,Sago palm cultivation, People

Abstract

This study aims to determine the interaction of  vermicompost and urea and get the best treatment to increase the growth of the gaharu seedlings (Aquillaria malaccensis Lamk.). The research was conducted in experimental station of Agriculture Faculty, University of Riau, from September to November 2016. This research uses Completely Randomized Design, which consists of two factors and three replications. The first factor was the dosage of vermicompost (K) consisting of 4 level: 0 g/ polybag, 100 g / polybag, 200 g/ polybag, and 300 g/ polybag; And the second factor is the dose of urea fertilizer (U) consisting of 4 levels: 0 g/ polybag, 0.5 g/ polybag, 1 g/ polybag, and 2 g/ polybag. Each experimental unit consists of 2 seedlings so that there are 96 gaharu seedlings. Data were analyzed The observation result of each parameter was statistically analyzed by using vocabulary and tested using DNMRT (Duncan's New Multiple Range Test) at 5% level. The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, leaf area, shoots and root ratio, and dry weight. The interaction of kascing 300 g/ polybag and urea dosage 2 g/ polybag gave the best effect to the parameters of gaharu seedlings  height accretion, the accretion of leaf number, the accretion of stem diameter, leaf area and dry weight Keywords: Vermicompost, urea fertilizer, gaharu seedlings

Abstract

The reseaerch intendeed to observe mung bean  also their responded which proper treatment for growth and mung bean outcome. Its gave poultry manure and sprinkling volume on sub soil Inceptisol medium. The research held at experimental garden, placed at Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University, Bina Widya Kampus KM 12,5, Simpang Baru region, sub – district of Tampan, Pekanbaru. The research did during 3 months, starting on January to March 2017. The research had done experimental method which used a complete randomized factorial design that were consists of two factors; the first factor was poultry manure which consist of 4 stages were (0,40,60,80 g.polybag-1) for giving poultry manure. The second factor was sprinkling volume that consist of 3 stages were (500,1000,1500 ml. polybag-1) for sprinkling volume in the morning. The research observed parameters were plants height, number of branches, the age of the flower plants, the percentage of the effective root nodule, the percentage of planted pods per plant, and dry seed weight per plant. The result of the varience investigation has analyzed further by using Duncan’s multiple range test at 5% degree. Giving poultry manure 40 g.polybag-1 and 500 ml.polybag-1 in the morning on sub soil Inceptisol medium type can be increase growth and outcome of mung bean.Keywords:  Mung bean, Poultry manure, Sprinkling volume, sub soil Inceptisol medium.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui interaksi antara tinggi genangan air dan pupuk organik serta mendapatkan tinggi genangan air dan dosis pupuk organik yang optimal untuk pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman padi sawah (Oryza sativa L.). Penelitian ini dilakukan di Laboratorium kebun percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Riau mulai bulan Agustus hingga Desember 2018 menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap dengan dua faktor yaitu tinggi genangan air yang terdiri dari 4 taraf : T0 (tinggi genangan 0 cm/macak-macak), T1 (tinggi genangan 5 cm), T2 (tinggi genangan 7,5 cm), T3 (tinggi genangan 10 cm) dan dosis pupuk organik petroganik yang terdiri dari 3 taraf : P0 (tanpa diberi pupuk petroganik/kontrol), P1 (pupuk petroganik 2,0 g.rumpun-1), P2 (pupuk petroganik 2,5g.rumpun-1). Data hasil analisis ragam dilanjutkan dengan uji jarak berganda Duncan’s pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhandanproduksipadisawah yang optimal terlihatpadatinggigenangan air 0 cm (macak – macak) dandosispupukorganik2,0 g.rumpun-1yaitumeningkatkantinggitanaman, jumlahanakanmaksimum, jumlahanakanproduktif, beratgabah total, , berat 1000 butirgabahbernassertaberatgabahkeringgiling per rumpun.Kata kunci : tinggi genangan air, pupuk organik, pertumbuhan, produksi padi sawah

Abstract

The tourism sector presents the potential of the region to become a tourist attraction that encourages regional economic growth and absorbs enormous human resources. An increase in resources needs to be done so that the area's potential can be enjoyed. The government needs government support through policies issued so that tourism is getting better and can improve the economy of the surrounding community. This research focuses on the policy of the provincial government and the Kampar Regency on tourism development, in this case focusing on the Belimbing Island Hamlet, Kuok Village, Kampar Regency. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of Riau Province Regional Regulations, especially in the Belimbing Island Tourism Village, is quite good. Although the current state of application of laws and regulations is still a bit problematic in the laws and regulations related to the tourism sector

Abstract

Dalam revolusi 4.0 saat ini yang mana segala sesuatunya diiringi dengan kemjuan teknologi yang berimbas pada kehidupan kita. Era yang tidak pernah merasa puas dengan hasil yang dicapainya sehingga terus menerus berupaya melakukan inovasi. Dalam sebuah inovasi dibutuhkannya sebuah kekreatifitas dalam menghadapi tantangan era ini. Salah satunya kita bisa memanfaat limbah yang ada disekitar kita seperti limbah dari sisa konstruksi yakni pipa PVC. Dalam pemanfaatannya sisa potongan pipa PVC dapat disulap menjadi sebuah produk yang bernilai tinggi. Desa padang mutung menjadi target pelatihan ini karena di desa padang mutung terdapat banyak sekali sisa potongan pipa PVC, tim pengabdian bekerjasama dengan Kepala Desa Padang Mutung melakukan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat serta melakukan praktek langsung tentang langkah-langka pembuatan kerajinan vas bunga dan bingkai cermin dari sisa PVC, namun dikarenakan ilmu yang kurang tidak ada yang memanfaatkannya. Dalam pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan ilmu serta membuka pikiran kreatif warga desa padang mutung. Serta dapat membantu terbukanya peluang bisnis yang dapat membangkitkan perekonomian warga padang mutung

Abstract

Oil palm plantations are part of the leading commodities in Aceh province which have an important contribution in terms of supporting the economy and welfare of farmers. In the plantation sector it is very important to measure the level of technical efficiency to find out the optimal level of production from the production input factors used. This study aims to analyze the technical efficiency of oil palm farming in Aceh Province. The analytical method used is the frontier production function with the return to scale Variabe Approach. The results of the study show that overall for four consecutive years there are six districts in Aceh province that have technically efficient palm oil production (Pidie, Aceh Utara, Langsa, with a technical efficiency score of > 7. The average level of technical efficiency for farmers is 0. 8795, the lowest tennis efficiency level is 0.7569 and the highest technical efficiency level is 0.9471

Abstract

Abstrak: Lampung merupakan sentra produksi ubikayu di Indonesia dengan luas area sekitar 199.385 ha.  Luas area terbesar berada di Lampung Tengah sekitar 120 ribu ha.  Salah satu kendala utama selain harga ubikayu yang sering berfluktuasi adalah panen muda atau awal di tingkat petani dan industri tapioka.  Tujuan penulisan makalah ini adalah pengenalan klon ubikayu yang genjah sebagai solusi penen muda di tingkat petani.  Penanaman ubikayu klon genjah dengan produksi tinggi ini dilaksanakan di tiga kabupaten di Lampung, yaitu Lampung Selatan, Lampung Timur, dan Lampung Tengah Great Giant Food (GGF).  Ada 7 klon yang digunakan, yaitu Vamas, Vati, Litbang UK 2, Daun 9 (berumur genjah), dan Adira 4, UJ3, UJ5 (berumur 10-12 bulan).  Jarak tanam yang digunakan adalah 100 x 80 cm atau populasi 12.500 tanaman/ha.  Data pendukung untuk pengenalan klon ubikayu genjah adalah tinggi tanaman, bobot ubi dan kadar pati.  Saat pertumbuhan awal, yaitu 1 bulan setelah tanam (BST) terlihat tidak berbeda antara ubikayu berumur genjah dan yang berumur normal (10-12 BST).  Namun, pada saat tanaman berumur 7 BST, tinggi tanaman Vamas mencapai rata-rata 227 cm sebaliknya UJ3 mempunyai rata-rata tinggi tanaman sekitar 257 cm.  Selanjutnya, bobot ubi Vamas dan UJ3 masing-masing mencapai 36,1 ton/ha dan 25,3 ton/ha.  Dengan demikian Vamas bisa direkomendasikan sebagai klon ubikayu genjah karena mampu berproduksi tinggi pada umur 7 BST

Abstract

This study aims to develop an interactive module that supports student-centered learning and test the feasibility and the response of students to the interactive module. The product development stages use the Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation procedure. The validation of the developed products was carried out by two material experts and two media experts. Products that have been revised and get a proper assessment are tested out in small groups consisting of 5 teachers and tested in large groups consisting of 30 students. The results show that the interactive module as a support for Student Centered Learning is very good and feasible to use. This is based on the results of the validation of material experts which show the percentage of the feasibility level of 95% and the results of the validation of the media experts show the percentage of the feasibility level of 80%, while the small group trials and large group trials show the percentage of the feasibility level of 87% and 86% respectively. Meaning that it is in the very feasible category.
