Abstract

حاولت هذه الدراسة  الكشف عن مذهب الخطيب الشربيني اللغوي من خلال آرائه المتناثرة في تفسيره ((السراج المنير)) وتتكون قضية هذه الدراسة من الأسئلة الآتية: كيف أسس مذهب الخطيب الشربيني؟ وكيف موقفه من أصول الاحتجاج؟ وكيف موقفه من اللغويين؟ وأمّا نوع البحث المستخدم في هذه الدراسة فهو البحث الوصفي النوعي وطريقة جمع البيانات هي الطريقة المكتبية، وتحليلها عن طريق تحليل لغوي. ونتيجة البحث تجيب عن الأسئلة المذكورة وهي: مذهب الخطيب الشربيني اللغوي قام على عدة أسس منها؛ نزعته الاجتهادية التي تدل على شخصيته اللغوية القوية والبعد عن التكلف والتأويل. اهتم أكثر اهتمام بالشواهد اللغوية من الآيات القرآنية وقراءاتها، والأحاديث النبوية، وأشعار العرب، واعتمد على القياس اللغوي في مذهبه اللغوي. اعتمد كثيراً في مذهبه اللغوي على كتب النحاة، ومعاني القرآن، وكتب التفسير، وذلك واضح في موقفه مع صاحب تلك الكتب كالخليل وسيبويه، والكسائي، والزمخشري، وأبي حيان، وابن هشام، وغيرهم من العلماء. والمستفاد من هذه الدراسة وهو أخذ العبرة بأن الدراسات اللغوية تقوم على التحليل والتعليل والمناقشة مستندة إلى أدلة وتعليلات.  هذه الدراسة تقوي الفكر اللغوي، بسبب ما فيه من مسائل نحوية ولغوية دقيقة.كلمة السر: الخطيب الشربيني، السراج المنير، مذهب لغويABSTRACTThis study aims to reveal the linguistic flow of Khatib El-Sherbiny through his opinions scattered in the book El-Siraj El-Munir. This research uses descriptive qualitative method, data collection uses library research method and data analysis uses linguistic analysis. The results showed that Khatib Al-Sherbiny's linguistic school was based on several principles, including his ijtihad tendency to show that he had a strong linguistic personality and was far from affection and interpretation (ta'wil). Khatib Al-Sherbiny is very concerned with linguistic evidence derived from the verses of the Qur'an and its reading models, hadith, Arabic poetry, and uses analogies (qiyas) in his linguistic flow. Khatib Al-Sherbiny sticks to books written by linguists and commentators in his linguistic stream. This is evident through his attitude towards linguistics and commentators such as Al-Khalil, Sibawaih, Al-Kisaiy, Al-Zamakhsyariy, Abu Hayyan, Ibn Hisham and others. The implication of this research is to learn that linguistic studies are based on analysis, reasoning and discussion based on authentic arguments. This research strengthens linguistic thinking and analysis because it includes targeted linguistic problems.Keywords: Khatib El-Sherbiny; El-Siraj El-Munir; Linguistic ConceptABSTRAKPenelitian ini berupaya mengungkap aliran linguistik Khatib El-Sherbiny melalui pendapatnya yang bertebaran di dalam kitab El-Siraj El-Munir. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif, metode pengumpulan data bersifat penelitian kepustakaan dan analisis data mempergunakan analisis linguistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Aliran linguistik Khatib Al-Sherbiny berdasrkan pada beberapa prinsip, termasuk kecenderungan ijtihadnya menunjukkan beliau memiliki personal linguistik yang kuat dan jauh dari afektasi dan interpretasi (ta'wil). Khatib Al-Sherbiny sangat peduli pada bukti-bukti linguistik yang berasal dari ayat-ayat Al-Quran dan model bacaannya, hadis, dan puisi Arab, serta mempergunakan analogi (qiyas) dalam aliran linguistiknya. Khatib Al-Sherbiny berpegang teguh pada buku karangan para pakar linguistik dan pakar tafsir di dalam aliran linguistiknya. Hal tersebut terbukti melalui sikap beliau terhadap para pakar linguistik dan tafsir seperti Al-Khalil, Sibawaih, Al-Kisaiy, Al-Zamakhsyariy, Abu Hayyan, Ibn Hisyam dan lain-lain. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah menjadikan pelajaran bahwa studi-studi lingusitik itu berdasarkan analisis, penalaran dan diskusi berlandaskan dalil yang otentik. Penelitian ini memperkuat pemikiran dan analisis linguistik karena di dalamnya mencakup problematika linguistik yang tepat sasaran.

Abstract

Local wisdom in South Sulawesi is not only inherited by ancestors but also by clerics who spread Islam, so that Islamic values, including the value of moderation, cannot be separated from community culture. This research focuses on the traces of the value of religious moderation in the culture of the people of Tosora, South Sulawesi, which Syekh Jamaluddin Akbar al-Husaini inherited. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The researchers used three data collection techniques, Observations, Interviews, and Documentation. The results of this research found that; 1) The cultural portrait of the Tosora Bugis community reflects the efforts of the local community to preserve their rich ancestral cultural heritage with wisdom 2) Sheikh Jamaluddin has a model of cultural and moderate da'wah. 3) The Tusora people have internalized religious moderation in their society, specifically in the culture of Pangngadereng, Lempu, Getteng, Ada Tongeng, Sipakatau, Sipakalebbi, and Sipakainge', namely in the culture of Pangngadereng, Lempu', Getteng, Ada Tongeng, Sipakatau, Sipakalebbi, and Sipakainge'. This research presents a significant new aspect in understanding the culture of the Bugis Tosora community which reflects efforts to preserve ancestral cultural heritage and creates the potential to pass on this tradition to the next generation, in addition to teaching the importance of an open and inclusive approach in spreading religious values. The values of religious moderation internalized in the culture of the Tosora people prove that religious moderation is not only a theoretical concept, but also a reality that lives in their daily lives. الملخص إن الحكمة المحلية لجنوب سولاويسي لا يرثها أسلافهم فحسب، بل تتأثر أيضًا بالعلماء الذين بلغوا إليهم الدين الإسلامي. وفي الواقع فإن القيم الإسلامية، بما فيها دعائم الاعتدال، لا يمكن فصلها عن ثقافة المجتمع. تركز هذه الدراسة على تأثير قيم الوسطية الدينية في ثقافة أهالي توسورا جنوب سولاويزي التي ورثها السيخ جمال الدين أكبر الحسيني. هذا البحث هو بحث وصفي نوعي. استخدم الباحثون ثلاثة أشكال من تقنيات جمع البيانات، الملاحظات، المقابلات والتوثيق. تشير نتائج هذه الدراسة إلى أن: 1) تعكس الصورة الثقافية لمجتمع توسورا بوغيس جهود المجتمع المحلي للحفاظ على تراث أجدادهم الثقافي الغني بالحكمة 2) للشيخ جمال الدين نموذج للدعوة ثقافي ومعتدل. 3) لقد استوعب شعب توسورا الاعتدال الديني في مجتمعهم، وتحديداً في ثقافة Pangngadereng و Lempu و Getteng و Ada Tongeng و Sipakatau و Sipakalebbi و Sipakainge هذا البحث هو محاولة لاستكشاف الثراء الثقافي للأرخبيل والحكمة المحلية الواردة فيه. يقدم هذا البحث جانبا جديدا هاما في فهم ثقافة مجتمع بوغيس توسورا الذي يعكس الجهود المبذولة للحفاظ على التراث الثقافي للأسلاف ويخلق القدرة على نقل هذا التقليد إلى الجيل القادم، إلى جانب تعليم أهمية اتباع نهج مفتوح وشامل في نشر القيم الدينية. تثبت قيم الاعتدال الديني المتضمنة في ثقافة شعب طوسورة أن الاعتدال الديني ليس مجرد مفهوم نظري، بل هو واقع يعيشه في حياتهم اليومية. الكلمات المفتاحية: الوسطية الدينية، الشيخ جمال الدين أكبر الحسيني، ثقافة توسورا Abstrak Kearifan lokal di Sulawesi Selatan bukan hanya diwariskan oleh nenek moyang akan tetapi juga oleh ulama penyebar Islam, sehingga nilai-nilai Islam termasuk nilai moderasi tidak dapat dipisahkan dari budaya masyarakat. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengaruh nilai-nilai moderasi beragama dalam budaya masyarakat Tusora, Sulawesi Selatan yang diwariskan oleh Sikh Jamal al-Din Akbar al-Husayni. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Peneliti menggunakan tiga bentuk teknik mengumpulkan data, yaitu; Observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa; 1) Potret kebudayaan masyarakat Bugis Tosora mencerminkan upaya pelestarian masyarakat setempat terhadap warisan budaya leluhur mereka yang kaya dengan kebijaksanaan 2) Sheikh Jamaluddin memilki model dakwah yang bersifat kultural dan moderat. 3) Dalam kebudayaan masyarakat Tosora moderasi beragama merupakan nilai yang telah terinternalisasi ditengah-tengah masyarakat. Nilai-nilai moderasi beragama dapat dilihat dalam budaya Pangngadereng, Lempu’, Getteng, Ada Tongeng, Sipakatau, Sipakalebbi, dan Sipakainge’. Asepek kebaruan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggali dan menemukan nilai-nilai dan prinsip masyarakat bugis yang sebenarnya juga merupakan sikap moderasi beragama. Penelitian ini menghadirkan aspek kebaruan yang signifikan dalam pemahaman kebudayaan masyarakat Bugis Tosora yang mencerminkan upaya pelestarian warisan budaya leluhur serta menciptakan potensi untuk meneruskan tradisi ini ke generasi berikutnya, selain itu mengajarkan pentingnya pendekatan yang terbuka dan inklusif dalam menyebarkan nilai-nilai agama. Nilai-nilai moderasi beragama yang terinternalisasi dalam kebudayaan masyarakat Tosora membuktikan bahwa moderasi beragama bukan hanya konsep teoretis, tetapi juga sebuah realitas yang hidup dalam kehidupan sehari-hari masyarakat.

Abstract

Abstract This study discusses about fi'il ṡulāṡī muta'addī (transitive verb) used in the cartoon film "al-Qiṭ al-Ḍāi'". The aim is to find out the division and i'rāb of the transitive verb (consisting of three letters) used in the film. The research method used by researchers in this study is a descriptive qualitative method by looking at various books and articles related to this study. The primary sources used are the cartoon film "al-Qiṭ al-Ḍāi'", and the secondary sources used are references derived from nahwu and sharf books, articles, and others. The study found that the fi'il ṡulāṡī muta'addī used in the cartoon film "al-Qiṭ al-Ḍāi'" totaled 128 verbs consisting of two types of verbs, namely fi'il mujarrad (verbs composed of the original three letters) and fi'il mazīd (verbs with additional letters entered). There are 73 fi'il mujarrad and 55 fi'il mazīd. Both types of verbs are muta'addi by themselves, and some need harf al-jar in order to add maf'ūl (object). This research is expected to deepen insight and knowledge about fi'il ṡulāṡī muta'addī (transitive verb) analysis of literary works, especially for researchers and readers in general. Abstract

The language of the Qur’an does not only convey teachings explicitly but also employs indirect expressions such as kināyah, especially in delivering legal messages with ethical values. This study explores how kināyah functions as a legal tool in the Qur’anic discourse, using the methodology of uṣūl al-fiqh and thematic analysis of specific verses. By examining verses such as al-Baqarah 2:228, 2:187, and 2:235, it becomes evident that kināyah serves as a means of conveying legal rulings while maintaining ethical sensitivity and social decorum. The study demonstrates that kināyah can shape a more refined understanding of Islamic law without losing its normative implications.

Abstract

Interpretative challenges in Islamic law frequently arise from the absence of explicit rulings in primary texts. One method used to address this gap is Dilālat al-Mafhūm al-Mukhālafah, which derives legal meaning from the opposite implication of a given expression. This study aims to analyze six principal forms of mafḥūm al-mukhālafah: hasr (restriction), sifat (attribute), syarat (condition), laqab (designation), gāyah (limit), and ‘adad (number), and assess their legitimacy according to various Islamic legal schools. The research adopts a qualitative-descriptive approach through literature review of classical and modern ushul fiqh sources. Findings reveal that the acceptance of each form varies across schools of thought and depends on the context, linguistic structure, and strength of textual indication. Despite the differences, mafḥūm al-mukhālafah remains an essential tool in legal reasoning, especially in contemporary ijtihad where emerging issues require adaptable interpretations. This highlights the significance of mastering this concept to enrich Islamic legal discourse and strengthen contextual application of sharia rulings in modern society.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the competence of Arabic Language and Literature students at Faculty of Adab and Humanities of UIN Alauddin in producing scientific papers by testing the effectiveness of demands and confirming the challenges faced. The focus of the objects and data sources of this study were students majoring in Arabic in semesters 5 and 7 who were found randomly or random sampling. Presentation of data is done descriptively. Data analysis and drawing conclusions are done inductively. The results of the research show that Arabic Language and Literature (BSA) students are not aware of the opportunities they have to conduct research and produce scientific papers (KTI). This has implications for the increasing challenges they face, because in addition to their inability to utilize a number of supporting facilities, they also lack research and writing experience. In fact, because the inability to seize opportunities makes them less motivated and weak in interest. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kompetensi mahasiswa Bahasa dan Sastra Arab Fakultas Adab dan Humaniora UIN Alauddin dalam menghasilkan karya tulis ilmiah dengan menguji efektivitas tuntutan dan mengkonfirmasi tantangan yang dihadapi. Fokus objek dan sumber data penelitian ini ialah mahasiswa jurusan Bahasa Arab semester 5 dan 7 yang ditemukan secara acak atau random sampling. Penyajian data dilakukan secara deskriptif. Analisis data dan penarikan kesimpulan dilakukan secara induktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kurang sadarnya mahasiswa Bahasa dan Sastra Arab (BSA) terhadap peluang yang mereka miliki untuk melakukan penelitian dan menghasilkan karya tulis ilmiah (KTI). Hal itu berimplikasi terhadap bertambahnya tantangan yang mereka hadapi, sebab di samping ketidakmampuan memanfaatkan sejumlah fasilitas pendukung, juga minimnya pengalaman meneliti dan menulis. Bahkan karena ketidakmampuan menangkap peluang menjadikan mereka kurang motivasi dan lemah minat.

Abstract

Kajian terhadap lafaz-lafaz dalam Al-Qur’an memiliki posisi penting karena berdampak pada pemahaman hukum dan akidah umat Islam. Penelitian ini berfokus pada analisis komparatif kekuatan makna lafaz يَدٌ (tangan) dalam QS. al-Maidah ayat 38 dan QS. al-Fath ayat 10, ditinjau dari perspektif Khafiy al-Dilalah dalam Ushul Fiqh. Permasalahan muncul karena lafaz yang sama memunculkan makna yang sangat berbeda: dalam QS. al-Maidah ayat 38, kata يَدٌ digunakan dalam konteks hukum hudud terhadap pencurian, tergolong lafaz khafiy karena maknanya jelas secara anatomis tetapi samar dalam penerapan hukumnya, terutama terkait batasan siapa yang wajib dipotong tangan dan syarat-syarat pelaksanaan hudud. Sementara itu, dalam QS. al-Fath ayat 10, lafaz يَدٌ muncul dalam konteks teologis sebagai يَدُ الله (Tangan Allah) yang termasuk lafaz mutasyabih karena hakikat maknanya hanya diketahui oleh Allah SWT, sehingga menimbulkan perbedaan pendekatan antara tafwīḍ yang menyerahkan makna hakikinya kepada Allah, dan takwil yang memaknai secara metaforis sebagai kekuasaan atau pengawasan Allah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan analisis komparatif teks dan data diperoleh melalui studi pustaka terhadap Al-Qur’an, kitab tafsir, literatur Ushul Fiqh, serta sumber ilmiah lain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan mendasar antara khafiy dan mutasyabih baik dari sisi sumber kekaburan makna maupun implikasi hukumnya. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya ketepatan metodologi dalam memahami lafaz-lafaz Al-Qur’an untuk menghindari kesalahan dalam istinbath hukum maupun penyimpangan akidah.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concept of dilalah mantuq according to ushul fiqh and its role in establishing Islamic law. Mantuq is something that is designated by the pronunciation, and the pronunciation itself is an important part in legal istinbath because it can provide clarity and legal certainty regarding sharia provisions sourced from the Qur'an and Hadith. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method with a literature-based approach. Various works related to research are collected from multiple literary sources, including scientific journals, online articles, books, and other documents. The results of the study show that mantuq is divided into 3 parts, namely, sharih, ghairu sharih, zhahir, and mu'awwalah, each of which has its differences. This study explains that mantuq holds a central position in ushul fiqh, serving as the primary foundation for understanding lafaz nash and formulating Islamic law. Abstract

This study examines the application of the muthlaq–muqayyad rule in qiṣāṣ law, which serves as a guideline in understanding the difference between general and specific terms in the establishment of Islamic law. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach (dirāsah maṣdariyyah), through an analysis of classical fiqh works and contemporary interpretations related to qiṣāṣ. The results show that the muthlaq–muqayyad rule is an important instrument in maintaining the balance between divine justice and human rationality, so that its application is able to emphasize the flexibility of Islamic law in protecting life and upholding justice. The application of this principle shows that qiṣāṣ is not only a law of retribution, but also a moral and social framework based on the values of maqāṣid al-syarīʿah.   Penelitian ini mengkaji penerapan kaidah muthlaq–muqayyad dalam hukum qiṣāṣ yang berfungsi sebagai pedoman dalam memahami perbedaan antara lafaz umum dan lafaz khusus dalam penetapan hukum Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan (dirāsah maṣdariyyah), melalui telaah terhadap karya-karya fikih klasik dan interpretasi kontemporer terkait qiṣāṣ. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kaidah muthlaq–muqayyad merupakan instrumen penting dalam menjaga keseimbangan antara keadilan Ilahi dan rasionalitas manusia, sehingga penerapannya mampu menegaskan fleksibilitas hukum Islam dalam melindungi jiwa dan menegakkan keadilan. Penerapan prinsip ini menunjukkan bahwa qiṣāṣ bukan hanya hukum pembalasan, tetapi juga kerangka moral dan sosial yang berlandaskan pada nilai-nilai maqāṣid al-syarīʿah.

This article aims to analyse Prof. Ali Yafie's thoughts on hifz al-bī'ah (environmental preservation) in the context of Maqāṣid al-Syarīʻah and its implications for sustainable ecological management. This study employs a literature review method, involving the collection and analysis of various relevant sources, such as books, scientific articles, and documents related to Prof. Ali Yafie's thoughts and the principles of hifz al-bī’ah in Islam. The results of the study show that Prof. Ali Yafie views environmental conservation as part of humanity's responsibility as khalīfah on earth, which is not only related to moral aspects but also to Islamic religious teachings. His thoughts integrate hifz al-bī’ah as part of Maqāṣid al-Syarīʻah, which focuses on five main objectives, namely religion (dīn), soul (nāfs), intellect (‘aql), offspring (nāsl), and wealth (māl), with the addition of the environment as a component that must be protected. In the discussion, this article also reveals practical solutions offered by Prof. Ali Yafie to address ecological challenges such as climate change, deforestation, and pollution, involving a paradigm shift in development, ecological awareness, and active community participation. The implications of this thinking are highly relevant in developing sustainable development policies, particularly in developing countries like Indonesia, by integrating Islamic values into natural resource management and environmental conservation.
