Abstract

Soil plays an important role and serves as the foundation of life for all living things. Determining soil type is very important in fields such as agriculture, land management, and environmental studies. Various methods, including soil content, or color classification methods, as well as conducting laboratory tests, can be used to identify soil types. However, these often require the involvement of experts and are time-consuming and expensive. To overcome these challenges, machine learning models with computer vision techniques can be used through mobile-based applications. This research aims to link a machine learning model, to automatically classify soils into four types: alluvial, red, black, and clay soils with a mobile app called Terralysis through the RESTful API. Utilizing the advanced capabilities of mobile device cameras, users can take pictures of the land, upload them to the app, and receive the results. Integration with RESTful APIs facilitates seamless communication between mobile applications and machine learning models running on servers. RESTful APIs enable efficient and easy-to-use communications, ensuring easy updates and improved performance without overwhelming the mobile application. This approach improves application responsiveness, while powerful servers perform heavy processing tasks. Terralysis provides an efficient, fast, and accessible way for users without access to a laboratory or soil specialist to classify soil types, significantly reducing time and costs accurately.

Abstract

Rumah Terapi Sahabat Clinic is located in West Pagesangan, West Nusa Tenggara and has been around for seven years since it was founded in 2015. Based on the results of observations, Focus Group Discussions and interviews, this clinic needs a way to digitize clinical data storage so that it can be accessed easily by clinic staff. In order to meet these needs, a website-based application for clinics is needed with patient and therapist data storage features as well as therapy scheduling. To be able to realize this application, User Interface and User Experience are needed. The method used to do this is User Centered Design. After creating a good User Interface, testing will be carried out using the System Usability Scale and User Experience Questionnaire methods to find out how functional and experienced the clinical staff are while using this Front-end prototype and aspects that can be improved in the future. This research will have results in the form of a front end of a website-based application that suits the needs of clinic staff. While testing using SUS and UEQ, the end result of SUS is 84 or “Acceptable” meanwhile five out of six categories from UEQ are graded “Excellent”

Abstract

The incorporation of information technology is critically important in various aspects of life, with education being no exception. Technology has demonstrated its efficacy in supporting the operations of numerous institutions, including educational establishments. Nevertheless, despite the swift progress of technology, many institutions, particularly schools, still adhere to traditional systems in their daily operations. This includes the procedure for tracking student attendance, which can result in inefficiencies. This research endeavors to address this issue by conceptualizing, constructing, and implementing a web-based system for managing student attendance, focusing on streamlining the process of recording and handling attendance data. This system utilizes web technology and a database to establish a platform, with CodeIgniter4 serving as the fundamental framework for website development, following the prototype method. The research is carried out at SMKN 1 SIKUR and the system will record student attendance data, which will be stored in the database of SMK N 1 Sikur, and is expected to replace the current method of recording student attendance. The percentage of respondents with a "strongly agree" opinion increased from 36% to 52% after the update to the previous prototype. It is hoped that further development can be undertaken to facilitate direct implementation.

Abstract

The advancement of information and communication technology (ICT) has notably impacted various sectors, including trade. For grocery stores, effective User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) design are vital to ensure technology is user-friendly across different groups. This research applies the Human-Centered Design (HCD) method to develop the UI and UX for the G-Star grocery store web application, focusing on user needs, preferences, and contexts to create an intuitive interface. The research process includes stages such as user needs analysis, prototype design, usability testing, and iterative design based on feedback. Initially, user needs were identified through interviews and surveys, which guided the creation of application prototypes. These prototypes were then tested for usability, and feedback was used to refine and improve the design. The findings demonstrate that HCD principles enhance UI and UX, leading to higher customer satisfaction and loyalty. Implementing HCD improves user efficiency and convenience, contributing positively to the G-Star grocery store's performance. This research provides valuable insights for technology development in the grocery sector and offers practical guidance for designers and developers, encouraging the use of HCD in similar projects.

Abstract

This study investigates the application of User-Centered Design (UCD) principles in the design UI/UX for the mobile tourism application, 'Wisata Lombok.' The research aims to demonstrate how UCD can significantly improve user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) in context-specific applications. The methodology employed a multi-phase approach, including user research, persona development, iterative design. Data was collected through interviews with local and tourists, online surveys with Lombok residents, and on-site observations. This information guided the creation of user personas and informed the application's feature set and design decisions. Key findings reveal that incorporating local cultural elements into the UI design enhanced user engagement. The implementation of features like maps and cultural event calendars. Usability testing was carried out using an online questionnaire using the UEQ method. The UEQ contains 26 questions which structured in the form of a semantic differential, where each word consists of two terms expressing opposite meanings. The form was distributed to 35 respondents. All of the 35 respondents, 16 identified as male and 19 as female. The age distribution indicates that 29 respondents are within the 18-35 years old range, while 6 respondents are within the 35-56 years old. The UEQ result shows that the perspicuity and efficiency scale has the highest values, 2.29 and 1.96, falling within the “Excellent” range, indicating that the respondents didn't find any difficulties in operating the user interface. The attractiveness, dependability, and novelty scale fall within the “above average” value, indicating that the user interface was based on respondent needs. The stimulation scale has the least value 0.44 which fall within “bad” value , which means that the respondents was bored cause the user interface only has a few features.

Abstract

Traditional weaving in West Nusa Tenggara was essential to the region’s cultural heritage. Many local micro, small, and medium enterprises continued to practice traditional weaving using natural materials. However, the rise of synthetic materials threatened this tradition, making distinguishing between natural and synthetic woven fabrics difficult. This study aimed to develop a blockchain-based self-certification system to enhance traceability, security, and efficiency using Non-Fungible Tokens. The research method leveraged the Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm for user authentication and smart contracts to mint Non-Fungible Tokens, ensuring the authenticity and origin of each product.Each product’s metadata was signed with a digital signature that anyone could authenticate, and the outcome and the product metadata became a certificate. This study resulted in a web prototype with an easy-to-use interface that allowed artisans to create certificates and sell their registered works. This solution aimed to ensure the authenticity of traditional woven products by offering secure and transparent blockchain technology.

Abstract

?Cloud computing technology is a computing service with many advantages over conventional systems. Cloud Computing is the right solution because access is easy and fast, and can be accessed anywhere using the internet, one of the Cloud Computing services is GCP (Google Cloud Computing) provided by Google. Cloud computing is implemented in the Pantau Jalanku application. Pantau Jalanku is a pothole damage reporting application created using Android so it requires accurate damage detection and location at an easy cost, so the implementation of Google Cloud Computing includes the use of the AI Platform, Maps Platform, and billing. The aim of implementing cloud computing is to replace hardware or servers in the application backend which allows data in the application to run in real time without requiring a physical device. This research produces accurate accuracy for detecting potholes, as well as the location where road damage occurs. This research discusses how to use Cloud Computing by utilizing Google Cloud so that the need for physical devices such as servers is no longer needed so that it can save costs for creating and operating applications..

Abstract

The e-Canteen system enhances efficiency and user experience in electronic-based canteen services. The study aimed to develop a platform streamlining transactions, inventory management, and interaction between customers and canteen service providers. Before implementation, critical issues identified included manual inventory management and slow ordering processes, which created inefficiencies. The system allows customers to order, pay, and track stock availability online, leading to a more efficient and convenient purchasing process. For canteen service providers, automated inventory management helps optimize stock control and reduces manual errors, promising a more streamlined and error-free operation. The E-Canteen system offers significant benefits to both customers and service providers. Customers enjoy a more efficient and convenient purchasing process, while service providers benefit from optimized stock control and reduced manual errors, fostering a more productive and error-free work environment. Additionally, BLU Unram can monitor canteen performance, enabling data-driven decisions to improve services and policies. The system was developed using the Extreme Programming (XP) method, which ensured a user-centered design and rapid adaptation to feedback. Findings from the study demonstrated a 30% improvement in operational efficiency, with user satisfaction significantly increased according to internal surveys. The E-Canteen system addresses the operational challenges of managing canteen services and integrates smoothly with modern technological advancements, providing a scalable and adaptive solution for future growth. This system effectively resolves issues in traditional canteen management, offering benefits to customers and service providers regarding efficiency, convenience, and service quality.

Abstract

Sistem informasi penginputan data berbasis website telah dirancang dan dibangun sebagai bagian dari upaya pembaruan teknologi pada Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB) khususnya pada bagian Integrasi Pengolahan dan Diseminasi Statistik (IPDS). Front end dari sistem ini merupakan antarmuka pengguna yang memungkinkan pengguna untuk mengakses, menginput, dan mengelola data statistik khususnya pada saat mengelola stok dokumen yang keluar masuk dengan mudah melalui platform berbasis web. Rancangan front end ini memprioritaskan user experience yang intuitif dan efisien, dengan menyediakan beragam fitur interaktif untuk mempermudah proses penginputan data. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi, dan keterjangkauan dalam pengumpulan dan pengelolaan data stok dokumen yang ada di BPS NTB. Studi ini mengeksplorasi proses perancangan dan pengembangan front end tersebut serta potensinya dalam mendukung tugas pokok BPS NTB pada bagian IPDS.

Abstract

Hadirnya teknologi informasi telah banyak membantu efisiensi pekerjaan di banyak sektor: pengolahan data, pengontrolan peralatan, visualisasi data, analisa pasar, bahkan dalam bidang seni dan kerajinan. Untuk mengantisipasi hal tersebut, sebagai salah satu institusi pendidikan nonformal, Kwartir Cabang Mataram menginisiasi pembentukan Saka Rintisan Teknologi Digital untuk memberikan akses bagi masyarakat yang tidak memiliki kesempatan untuk mempelajari teknologi informasi melalui jalur formal. Sebagai langkah awal, dengan dukungan Prodi Teknik Informatika, Kwartir Cabang Kota Mataram mengadakan Latihan Pemrograman Dasar bagi pembina-pembina pramuka yang di harapkan akan menjadi pamong (pengajar). Materi yang dipelajari pada kegiatan ini terdiri dari Logika Pemrograman, Variabel, Percabangan, Perulangan, Array, dan Fungsi. Latihan Pemrograman Dasar bagi Pembina Pramuka ini dilaksanakan sebagai latihan mingguan sesuai dengan kesempatan dan/atau kondisi peserta yang telah dilaksanakan dalam dua periode yaitu Nopember 2023 hingga Maret 2024 dan Mei 2024 hingga Agustus 2024. Berdasarkan evaluasi yang telah dilakukan, sebagian besar peserta dapat memahami materi mengenai Logika Pemrograman dan mampu menyampaikannya kepada anak didiknya namun masih sulit untuk mengimplementasikannya ke dalam bahasa pemrograman. Evaluasi tersebut menunjukkan bahwa untuk dapat mengajarkan keterampilan pemrograman kepada peserta didik, masih diperlukan pengayaan dan latihan pada tingkat selanjutnya. Selain itu, perlu dirumuskan model pembelajaran yang tepat untuk menyampaikan materi tersebut kepada peserta didik pada rentang usia yang lebih rendah.
