Abstract

In this modern era, motorcycles are a primary means of transportation used by many people in Indonesian society, including students who use them to access campus. However, the increase in motorcycles also raises safety issues and the availability of parking spaces on campus. The parking system needs to be improved at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Mataram, because it does not use an automatic checking system, resulting in concerns about vehicle safety. This research aims to build a Web-based Motorcycle Parking Information System to store real-time rider data and detect faces and police numbers through CCTV. The Personal Extreme Programming (PXP) method is used as a development method because of its high level of flexibility and its ability to adapt to changing needs. This system was developed using the Bootstrap framework for the front end and Laravel for the back end, with MySQL Workbench as a server to manage the database. System testing uses the Black Box Testing method to ensure each unit or module functions according to predetermined needs. The test results show that all features function validly and by the expected specifications. This research provides an effective solution for improving parking security and parking space management on campus, thus providing a sense of comfort and security for students and all parking users at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Mataram.

Abstract

Various strategies have been employed to rejuvenate the tourism industry, including enhancing halal tourism services. The halal tourism market segment is highly significant in terms of visitor number and expenditure during travel. This research addresses the technological challenges faced by halal tourism by developing an integrated Android application designed to facilitate hotel reservations, tourist transportation, tour packages, and access to halal-related information. Academics from several fields of University of Mataram play a crucial role in this project, serving as both Product Owners and Scrum Masters, guiding the development team, facilitating discussions, and ensuring the alignment of the application with halal tourism regulations. The application aims to enhance convenience and efficiency for Muslim Travelers by providing easy access to services and information, thus promoting more accessible and effective travel planning. This initiative supports the specific needs of Muslim Travelers and contributes to the economic growth and sustainability of halal tourism in the region. The User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS) yielded a score of 82.5 with a grade "A". From the test results, it was concluded that the application, through the exploration of academic insights, is capable of producing an effective solution and meeting the needs of users, thereby improving the quality of services for tourists.

Abstract

Madrasah Sayang Ibu (MSI) terletak pada Jalan Sonokeling no.46 Desa Sayang Ibu Dasan Griya Utara Lingsar Lombok Barat merupakan Madrasah setingkat dengan Madrasah Tsanawiyah dan Aliyah. MSI mengusung kelas alam untuk santri-santrinya. MSI menjadi Madrasah alam yang mengedepankan lebih dari sekedar belajar di dalam alam yang hijau, rindang, asri dan menenangkan. MSI menerapkan prinsip-prinsip menyeluruh (holistik) dalam pendidikan melalui berbagai model pembelajaran/kegiatan kreatif. Dikarenakan banyak program yang dimiliki oleh MSI menyebabkan terlambatnya dalam pelaporan setiap program. Kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh MSI terkait juga dengan pelaksanaan sholat lima waktu yang harus dilakukan secara berjamaah. Setiap sholat berjamaah, santri diwajibkan untuk absen dengan menandatangani pada kertas yang disediakan. Permasalahan yang terjadi adalah banyaknya santri yang mengantri tanda tangan sehingga menyebabkan terlambatnya mengikuti sholat berjamaah. Dengan adanya sistem RFID, santri dapat melakukan absensi dengan cepat dan tidak lagi terlambat sholat berjamaah.

Abstract

Al-Qur'an adalah kitab suci umat Islam yang menjadi pedoman hidup bagi setiap muslim, termasuk penyandang disabilitas tunarungu. Di Indonesia, khususnya Nusa Tenggara Barat, terdapat 3.921 penyandang disabilitas tunarungu berusia 5 tahun ke atas. Jumlah yang cukup tinggi ini memerlukan peningkatan aksesibilitas pendidikan agama, terutama cara membaca Al-Qur'an. Sayangnya, kurangnya juru Al-Qur'an isyarat dan pendidikan intensif dari lingkungan sekitar sering menghambat proses pembelajaran. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, dikembangkanlah website Quranu, sebuah platform yang memfasilitasi belajar Al-Qur'an Isyarat di mana saja dan kapan saja. Pengembangan Quranu menggunakan metode waterfall, yang memastikan sistematik dan keteraturan dalam prosesnya. Quranu berhasil dikembangkan dengan lima fitur utama, yaitu pembelajaran Al-Qur'an, Kisah Nabi, dan latihan soal, yang telah diterapkan kepada 83 pengguna. Pengguna ini terdiri dari penyandang disabilitas tunarungu, orang tua, dan pengajar Al-Qur'an isyarat di Nusa Tenggara Barat. Berdasarkan survei kepuasan pengguna, lebih dari 96% responden memberikan penilaian baik hingga sangat baik pada berbagai aspek yang diukur. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa Quranu telah dirancang dan dikembangkan dengan sukses, sesuai kebutuhan pengguna.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian mengenai pelatihan pembuatan media pembelajaran interaktif di sekolah MI Integral Buah Hati Insani Mataram ini memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan para guru dalam menggunakan Canva sebagai alat untuk menciptakan materi pembelajaran yang menarik dan efektif karena para guru sebelumnya membuat bahan ajar menggunakan aplikasi Microsoft Power Point. Pentingnya topik ini terletak pada peran penting teknologi dalam pendidikan modern. Canva, sebagai alat desain grafis yang user friendly, memiliki potensi besar untuk memperkaya pengalaman pembelajaran online. Namun, tidak semua individu memiliki pemahaman yang memadai tentang cara menggunakannya secara efektif. Oleh karena itu, pelatihan ini dipilih untuk membekali para guru dengan keterampilan yang relevan dalam pembuatan materi pembelajaran yang kreatif dan interaktif. Metode pelaksanaan pelatihan mencakup sesi teori, demonstrasi praktik, latihan mandiri, dan diskusi. para guru diberikan pemahaman tentang dasar-dasar Canva dan kemudian diarahkan untuk mengaplikasikan pengetahuan tersebut dalam pembuatan materi pembelajaran secara mandiri. Hasilnya adalah peningkatan keterampilan peserta dalam desain grafis, yang dapat diterapkan dalam konteks pendidikan mereka. Kegiatan ini memiliki dampak yang luas, termasuk peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran online dan dukungan pengembangan sumber daya pendidikan yang lebih baik. Hasil positif dari pelatihan ini menggaris bawahi pentingnya penggunaan teknologi dalam pendidikan modern dan memberikan landasan untuk penelitian lebih lanjut dalam pengembangan metode pembelajaran yang inovatif dan efektif. Respon positif dari sekolah MI Integral Buah Hati Insani Mataram diindikasikan melalui kuesioner online yang dibagikan setelah kegiatan pelatihan berakhir dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 11 orang.

Abstract

Education is a crucial component in a country's development, and the quality of education is a key factor in determining national progress. In Indonesia, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology has implemented the Merdeka Curriculum, which provides students with greater flexibility to choose subjects based on their interests and talents. At SMAN 4 Mataram, the subject selection process starting in the second semester of grade 10 still faces challenges, such as students' difficulty in determining suitable majors and the lack of an integrated data management system. This study developed a decision support system based on the Profile Matching method to provide objective major recommendations by aligning students’ competencies with the criteria of each major. The system was developed using the Waterfall model to ensure a structured design process. Testing was carried out with White Box Testing to validate algorithm calculations, Black Box Testing to check system functionality, and User Acceptance Testing to assess user satisfaction. The results showed a very positive response from administrators (MOS 4.95 out of 5.00) and a positive response from students (MOS 4.00 out of 5.00). This research contributes a practical and flexible decision support solution specifically adapted to high schools implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. With this system, the major selection process is expected to become more efficient, integrated, and capable of providing recommendations that better align with students’ interests, talents, and academic potential. Abstract

Mataram City's scouting administration information system currently relies on manual processing like Google Forms and Excel that encounter challenges at the Scout Unit level up to the District Council. These manual processing result in data mistakes, reporting delays, and challenges for the Regency Council to obtain real-time information. This project aims to create a website-based information system using the Scrum methodology in order to centrally digitalize members, scoutmasters, and scout activities data management. Using Next.js and TypeScript, the authors develop a front-end and data retrieval from API Endpoints. This application to enhance user productivity, facilitate cross-level reporting, and provide effective data visualization. These benefits are supported by the User Acceptance Testing results, which show an average feasibility score of 81.74% in the "good" category across functionality, reliability, usability, and efficiency aspects. This confirms that the digitalization of scout administration is both ready to be implemented and aligned with user expectations.

Abstract

The growth of halal tourism in Lombok, Indonesia, calls for scalable digital platforms with strong and centralized administrative governance. This study proposes and implements a domain-oriented, modular RESTful API backend to support Super Admin operations in the Lombok Halal Room (LHR) platform. Using a design-science approach and an iterative SCRUM process, we developed a layered API Service Repository Infrastructure architecture using Hapi.js, PostgreSQL, and Redis, delivering 42 endpoints across key administrative domains with uniform JSON contracts and JWT-based authentication. The proposed contribution is a metric-driven engineering template that links SCRUM execution to modular backend domains and validates the resulting system using performance and software-quality measurements. Experimental results under controlled workloads show that Redis caching substantially improves scalability for read-heavy administrative operations by reducing response time from seconds to low single-digit milliseconds and increasing throughput to above 40,000 requests per second. Code-quality metrics further indicate clean module boundaries (CBO=0; LCOM*=0), while the Maintainability Index (MI) highlights modules that require targeted refactoring. Overall, the backend provides a reusable reference architecture for centralized halal tourism administration such as partner verification, content moderation, transaction oversight, and system monitoring that can be adapted to similar platforms in other regions.

Abstract

Kualitas jaringan telekomunikasi menjadi sangat penting dalam era digital saat ini untuk mendukung aktivitas sehari-hari dan aplikasi real-time seperti streaming video dan komunikasi suara. Dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini, kami menggunakan Wireshark untuk memeriksa parameter Quality of Service (QoS) pada jaringan Wi-Fi Indihome Mataram. Parameter-parameter yang diuji berupa throughput, delay, jitter, dan packet loss dilakukan selama tiga hari pada tiga interval waktu yang berbeda. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa waktu pengambilan data memengaruhi kualitas jaringan, pengambilan data di pagi dan malam hari yang paling baik. Jumlah pengguna aktif dan kondisi jaringan memengaruhi kualitas jaringan. Studi ini memberikan saran untuk meningkatkan stabilitas dan efisiensi jaringan dengan mengoptimalkan kapasitas perangkat keras dan mengelola parameter jaringan. Diharapkan temuan ini akan berkontribusi pada pengelolaan jaringan yang lebih baik di masa mendatang.
