Abstract

Praktek kerja lapangan merupakan salah satu cara siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) untuk mencapai aspek psikomotorik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan Sistem Informasi Praktek Kerja Lapangan (PKL) berbasis website di SMK Negeri 1 Kerinci, sebagai solusi untuk mengatasi kendala dalam pengelolaan data PKL yang saat ini masih dilakukan secara manual. Sistem informasi berbasis website diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas dalam proses administrasi PKL, mempermudah akses informasi, dan meminimalisir terjadinya human error. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) dengan penerapan framework CodeIgniter3, pengembangan aplikasi berbasis PHP serta MySQL sebagai database.Terdapat enam tahap utama yaitu : perencanaan, analisis, desain, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Hasil pengujian sistem menunjukkan bahwa alur kerja sistem memenuhi standar validasi. Pengujian Alpha, yang meliputi black box dan white box testing, menunjukkan bahwa sistem berfungsi dengan baik dan valid. Beta testing menunjukkan hasil yang sangat baik, dengan nilai rata-rata 83,33% dari tenaga ahli dan 92,2% dari pengguna, keduanya termasuk dalam kategori baik dan sangat baik. Sistem informasi PKL berbasis website yang dikembangkan dapat mengatasi masalah yang ada dalam pengelolaan PKL di SMK Negeri 1 Kerinci. Sistem ini menawarkan solusi yang efisien dan efektif, meningkatkan keakuratan data, dan mempermudah interaksi antara siswa, guru, dan pihak industri.

Abstract

Absensi guru Praktik Lapangan (PL) merupakan elemen penting dalam manajemen kehadiran di lingkungan pendidikan, khususnya di SMK Negeri 4 Padang. Selama ini, proses absensi guru PL masih dilakukan secara manual menggunakan daftar hadir kertas yang memakan waktu dan rentan terhadap kesalahan pencatatan serta manipulasi data. Dalam era digital, penerapan teknologi informasi menjadi kebutuhan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi manajemen kehadiran. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan sistem informasi absensi guru PL berbasis web menggunakan teknologi QR Code. Sistem ini dirancang untuk memudahkan guru PL dalam melakukan absensi melalui pemindaian QR Code menggunakan perangkat smartphone mereka. Selain itu, pihak manajemen sekolah dapat memantau dan mengelola data kehadiran secara real-time dengan lebih mudah dan akurat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) yang terdiri dari enam tahap, yaitu: Perencanaan, Analisis, Desain, Implementasi, Pengujian, dan Pemeliharaan. Kerangka kerja CodeIgniter 3 digunakan sebagai platform dalam pengembangan sistem. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dikembangkan berhasil memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna. Pengujian Alpha yang melibatkan metode blackbox dan whitebox testing menunjukkan hasil yang valid. Sedangkan pengujian Beta pada tenaga ahli memperoleh hasil sangat baik dengan nilai rata-rata 92,5%, dan pengujian pada pengguna juga mendapatkan hasil sangat baik dengan nilai rata-rata 90,8%.

Abstract

The preparation and writing of the practicum lecture schedule in the Informatics Education computer laboratory has not been optimal. In addition, the laboratory loan process has not been efficient in terms of time, because lecturers and students have to contact and come directly to the laboratory. The purpose of this study was to design and test a laboratory scheduling information system for the informatics education study program at Universitas PGRI Sumatera Barat using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method. This research resulted in an information system that can help labor technicians, lecturers, students and related stakeholders. The results of beta testing research on expert validation obtained an average validation of 87.4% with very good information and the user assessment questionnaire obtained an average value of 89.8% with very good information.

Abstract

Universitas PGRI Sumatera Barat has wi-fi which does not rule out attacks on wi-fi networks carried out by hackers. Network Security is a protector in a network system in the process of preventing unauthorized and irresponsible network users. This research includes descriptive research. Descriptive research method is a research method that aims to explain an event. This research was conducted by testing and analyzing the test results on network security using Wireshark and Ettercap applications (Kali Linux OS). The results of this study in the form of a wi-fi network security system in building A1, building B1, building D1 at University of PGRI West Sumatra is good. During the scan for hosts, the IP of the laptop victim of the packet snffing attack was not found.

Abstract

Usually the recording of transactions in Bio Clean Laundry is done by writing transactions in a book that has been provided, so that it often causes errors in recording the transaction notes and the results of washing transactions. In addition, there are often discrepancies in the data resulting from transactions so that the business suffers losses. Based on these problems, an Android-Based Laundry Service information system was designed at Bio Clean Laundry using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling language and getting to know programming languages using Block Programming, and the system development life cycle (SDLC) method where this method has planning stages, analysis phase, design phase, implementation phase, testing phase, and maintenance phase. Testing of this information system is done by using blackbox and whitebox methods. Based on testing with the blackbox method, 4 menus were tested with the expected results as many as 12 procedures and 26 results by obtaining a valid percentage of success results. This indicates that all the information system testing scenarios are as expected so that officers can easily record customer data and sales transactions, so this information system can function properly.

Abstract

This research intends to create a web-based mail data management information system at Dinas Penanaman Modal dan Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu Provinsi Sumatera Barat which can facilitate archivists in managing correspondence to speed up correspondence processing, make it easier for archivists to find evidence of correspondence, can store, change, print correspondence data and reduce the accumulation of archives in the workspace in the Secretariat. This research method is carried out by collecting data through internships, observations, and interviews. The method used in developing this system uses the SDLC concept. At the analysis stage, the system modeling uses the Unified Modeling Language (UML) as a design tool. The implementation process is carried out using the MySQL database and the PHP programming language. The process of testing this system is carried out using the Black Box testing method. The results of the trial of the designed system have been in accordance with the needs expected by the agency. Abstract

At SMKN 1 Sintuk Toboh Gadang, managing laboratory equipment was done manually or on paper, which had its disadvantages. The data was prone to tearing, getting wet, burning, or even disappearing. Therefore, a web-based laboratory item management system was designed using PHP modeling language. After beta testing and validation from experts, the system was found to have very good information with an average percentage value of 80.3%. The user assessment questionnaire also obtained an average value of 85.7% with very good information. This system is expected to prevent errors and serve as an evaluation material for the school.

Abstract

Access to academic data is crucial in the digital era and should be more efficiently managed. However, many educational institutions continue to rely on traditional data management methods, such as maintaining physical ledgers or storing information in word or excel files, which hinder accessibility and efficiency. This study aims to design, develop, and evaluate an Academic Information System to enhance data accessibility and streamline academic record management. The system is developed using the Iterative System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which comprises four key phases: requirement analysis, system design, coding, and testing. These phases are repeated iteratively until the system meets the required functional and usability standards. The Laravel framework was using to enhance structural integrity and security during the coding phase. Beta testing conducted by experts produced an average score of 98.67%, with the highest criteria ratings observed in functionality, efficiency, and maintainability, each scoring 100% and categorizing this criteria as highly satisfactory. Meanwhile, end-user testing yielded an average user satisfaction score of 87.78%, with usability receiving the highest rating at 90.63%, also classified as highly satisfactory. Based on the testing data, these study resulted in an academic information system that capable of improving data management and undergone a series of testing.

Abstract

Community service is one of the key pillars of the higher education tridharma, aimed at delivering tangible contributions to society through the application of academic expertise by university lecturers. In this community engagement activity, the primary targets are teachers in the Payakumbuh City area. Teachers are regarded as agents of change who play a pivotal role in fostering educational renewal through various innovations rooted in the evaluation and reflection of ongoing teaching and learning practices. A shift in the teacher’s paradigm can be observed through their ability to understand and address challenges in the learning process, which can be systematically implemented through Classroom Action Research (CAR). CAR is considered a highly relevant strategic approach for enhancing the quality of classroom instruction and, ultimately, for contributing to the broader improvement of educational standards. In this framework, teachers are not merely instructional facilitators but also reflective practitioners and designers of effective and adaptive learning strategies. Given the rapid advancements in the fields of Science, Technology, and the Arts (IPTEKS), the demand for higher-quality education continues to rise. Therefore, specialized training is essential to equip teachers with the necessary competencies to design and implement CAR effectively. Such training constitutes a strategic effort to strengthen teachers' professional capacities and to enhance the quality of education they provide.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance the security of a Laravel 12-based news information system by implementing Rate Limiting and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). The current website-based information system is vulnerable to hacking and redirection to online gambling sites, indicating serious security weaknesses in the programming. Leveraging the robust capabilities of Laravel 12, this research implements security features such as rate limiting to prevent brute force attacks and RBAC to manage user access rights based on roles. In addition, it utilizes the advanced security features of Spatie Role Permissions in Laravel 12 to achieve layered protection. This is supported by the use of the MariaDB database in conjunction with Laravel 's Spatie Permissions package for more structured permission management. The research method employed is evaluative with a quantitative and descriptive approach, used to measure and analyze the quality of the software code before and after improvements. The results of this study provide a more secure solution for the information system.
