Abstract

This innovation diffusion research aims to disseminate innovative applications containing Augmented Reality (AR) technology in Early Childhood Education institutions through coloring activities in developing children's creativity. Because every child has talent and creativity that must be welcomed through various activities that can help their development. It is important for children in their learning environment to be given the opportunity to explore multi-media in order to realize the fertilization of their creative potential. Children's interest in digital devices can be used as a great opportunity for teachers in utilizing media and learning resources in early childhood education institutions. Augmented Reality (AR) technology content contained in the Q-3D Application in coloring activities provides an interesting offer by presenting virtual world visual images formed in 3-D animation into a real environment with the help of smartphones for images created and colored, so as to develop their creativity. In this innovation diffusion research, the descriptive analysis method is used with two approaches, namely: qualitative and quantitative. The data were obtained through three methods, namely: observation, interview, and documentation. Innovation diffusion research provides important findings that the level of adopter acceptance of the innovation of the Aaugmented Reality-based Quiver 3D app is very high and children's creativity is well developed.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meninjau penggunaan dalam pemanfaatan teknologi Artificial Intelligence (AI) sebagai respon positif dari Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Islam Anak Usia Dini (PIAUD) pada Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan di Institut Agama Islam Negeri Metro yang akan menghadapi tantangan besar sebagai calon guru di era digital, sehingga menjadi penting untuk memahami bagaimana tranformasi digital itu dilakukan. Sebagaimana diketahui bahwa era digital telah mengubah lanskap dunia pendidikan begitu cepat, memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap peran, tugas dan tanggungjawab guru. Para guru dan mahasiswa sebagai calon guru pada lembaga Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) akan dihadapkan pada tantangan baru dalam mengelola informasi yang bervariatif, penyesuaian terhadap gaya belajar dan gaya mengajar yang dikemas dalam aktivitas pembelajaran bervariatif menyesuaikan kebutuhan anak didik sebagai individu yang memiliki karakteristik berbeda-beda, dan pemberian umpan balik (feedback) dengan prinsif keefektifan dan efisiensi terhadap anak didiknya. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan instrumen penelitian dan studi kepustakaan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi terhadap objek penelitian dan berbagai sumber kepustakaan yang relevan. Analisis deskriptif terhadap data yang terkumpul dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk memperkuat informasi relevan, terkait dan relate dengan penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, bahwa dengan kemampuan dalam pemanfaatan teknologi AI: pengelolaan tugas dan peran menjadi lebih efektif; meningkatkan pembelajaran personal dan umpan balik yang efektif; kesiapan dalam menghadapi transformasi digital menjadi lebih baik; dan mengetahui tantangan besar dalam lanskap pendidikan ke depan, yakni penggunaan teknologi AI dalam Pendidikan, tantangan, dan etika penggunaannya.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the need to analyze the extent to which parents and teachers perceive early childhood cognitive development in the realm of reading, writing and nu-meracy. The purpose of this study is to describe how perceptions, practices, constraints, and things needed by parents and teachers in developing cognitive learning. Initial percep-tions embedded in parents and teachers regarding children's cognitive development will be analyzed as needed and become initial research data for the development of cognitive learning models in the following year. The research was conducted in Bandar Lampung Kindergarten, Enggal District, with 17 teachers and 31 parents as subjects. The sampling technique was randomized. Data were collected through interviews and questionnaires. The research data were analyzed through qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results showed that the level of perception of parents and teachers about children's cognitive development was high, namely 28 people with an interval of 123-159. For the other 11 people, very high with an interval of 16-196, quite high as many as 9 people with an inter-val of 86-122 and no parents and teachers with low levels of perception. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the perception of parents and teachers about children's cognitive development generally reaches a high level, therefore this understand-ing can be used as an initial capital in the process of developing children's potential to be maximized.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah kemampuan berhitung anak usia 5-6 tahun belum sesuai dengan tahapan perkembangannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh permainan bead stairs terhadap kemampuan berhitung pada anak usia 5-6 tahun yang dilaksanakan di TK PGRI 2 Batangharjo dan TK Pertiwi 6 Adiwarno. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif dengan pendekatan quasi eksperimen. Adapun desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah nonequivalent control group design. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu uji independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan nilai nilai rata-rata setelah diberikan perlakuan pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol memiliki perbedaan. Pada kelas eksperimen nilai rata-rata sebesar 66 sedangkan pada kelas kontrol adalah sebesar 43. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji independent sample t-test memperoleh nilai Sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0.000<0.05 Ha diterima yang berarti terdapat perbedaan pengaruh kemampuan berhitung pada anak usia 5-6 tahun yang bermain bead stairs dengan kemampuan berhitung anak yang tidak bermain bead stairs.

Abstract

Gross Motoric Learning Through Colour Circuit. The availability of game is being the main asset in early childhood activities. This research was motivated by the colour circuit game conducted by the early childhood teachers which has not been developed. The purpose of this qualitative study was to observe how the steps in developing the color circuit game and how design of educative game tools in colour circuit game. The method used was research and development of colour circuit game with the research subjects were the students of group B in TK Negeri Pembina Metro Timur. The result of the developments are the activity of colour circuit. Abstract

This research is motivated by the readiness of individuals to adjust to various conditions and challenges faced. For example, during the pandemic conditions we have experienced, This pandemic condition forces individuals to adapt to conditions, including Indonesian families. This condition is also experienced by a person when dealing with unexpected disaster conditions. Many parents find it difficult to deal with their anxiety with all the pressure and keep their children safe. But as time goes by, individuals generally strive to rise from adversity and try to readjust. This ability to rise from depressed situation is called resilience. Resilience grows and develops throughout human life and begins to develop from early childhood. Everyone has different resilience abilities depending on the individual's experience and personality. In children, one of the factors that can play a role in the formation of resilience is the condition of the child's nearest and smallest environment, namely the family and parents. How much effort parents make to create a sense of security and comfort for the family, and the ability of parents to face obstacles is one of the factors that play a role in the formation of children's resilience. This study aims to find out how big the role of parental resilience plays in the formation of resilience in early childhood. The method in this study is a quantitative approach with a correlation technique. The sample was selected using a simple random sampling technique under the criteria of parents who have children aged 2 to 6 years. The result of this study is that parental resilience has a significant role in efforts to build resilience in early childhood (r = 0.487). However, there are still other factors or variables that can play a role in the formation of early childhood resilience need further studies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan model pembelajaran active learning dalam keterampilan berbicara anak usia dini. Metode penelitian dilakukan melalui pendekatan kuantitatif dengan sampel anak usia dini usia 7-8 tahun. Jumlah sampel yaitu 33 anak sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 32 anak sebagai kelas kontrol. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di Sekolah Dasar Metro Timur. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan melalui teknik cluster random sampling. Data diperoleh melalui tes keterampilan berbicara dan dianalisis melalui analisis komparasi dengan uji-t dengan derajat kepercayaan 95%. Hasil analisis menunjukkan harga “t” penghitungan berdasarkan gain score 5.18 dengan taraf signifikansi 1.99 dan harga “t” penghitungan berdasarkan hasil post-test 4.06 dengan taraf signifikansi 1.99. Hal ini menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan keterampilan berbicara antara anak usia dini yang belajar di kelas eksperimen dan anak usia dini yang belajar di kelas kontrol. Penggunaan model pembelajaran active learning efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran berbicara anak usia 7-8 tahun.

Abstract

Early childhood education is an important foundation in building cognitive abilities, including early mathematics skills. However, many PAUD teachers in Bandar Lampung City still face difficulties in developing innovative and contextual mathematics learning models. This study aims to identify the effectiveness of early mathematics learning model development training for PAUD teachers and evaluate changes in their learning practices. The implementation method is participatory training and direct practice with a lesson study approach and collective reflection. This activity involved 30 PAUD teachers from various sub-districts in Bandar Lampung City. The results of the training showed that teachers experienced significant improvements in their ability to design mathematics learning based on games, the surrounding environment, and thematic approaches. Most participants admitted to being more confident and creative in delivering mathematics materials to early childhood. This finding shows that training that is applicative and collaborative can encourage learning innovations that are in accordance with the characteristics of early childhood. This article recommends the need for ongoing training involving practitioners, lecturers, and teacher learning communities to maintain the sustainability of learning innovations in PAUD.

Abstract

Environmental education from an early age is the key to forming a generation that cares about environmental sustainability. Early childhood has the ability to absorb positive values ​​effectively through concrete, visual, and fun learning. However, there are still many educators in PAUD who do not have the skills to design learning media that support the improvement of ecoliteracy. Therefore, this community service activity aims to provide training to PAUD teachers in Kota Agung Timur District, Tanggamus Regency, Lampung Province on how to create creative learning media based on the environment. The method of implementing the activity includes socialization, technical training in making media (such as posters, recycled story books, and teaching aids from used materials), and mentoring implementation in the classroom. The results of the activity showed an increase in teachers' understanding of the concept of ecoliteracy and skills in creating interesting and environmentally friendly learning media. In addition, teachers stated that the media produced was able to increase children's enthusiasm and awareness of the importance of protecting the environment. This activity is expected to be the first step in encouraging sustainable environmental education at the PAUD level.
