Abstract

The problem in this research is how the cultural meaning of tabea ethics in ethnic Muna in Napabalano Village, Napabalano District, Muna Regency. This study aims to examine the cultural meaning of tabea ethics in Muna ethnic groups in Napabalano Village, Napabalano District, Muna Regency. This research is a qualitative descriptive study through direct interviews with religious leaders and traditional figures in the Napabalano Village. The results of this study indicate that the meaning of (1) the Tabea tradition is the customary language of politeness / behavior which means excuse me, namely the more subtle greeting words that are generally spoken when passing in front of people, especially those we respect, friends, friends, parents, or anyone we respect. (2) The word tabea is followed by a downward movement of the right hand towards the ground or ground, the meaning of the behavior of such muna area people is that the word tabea is a symbol of the effort to appreciate and respect anyone in front of us, we should not do what we want. (3) The cultural meaning of Tabea on ethnic Muna in Napabalano Village, Napabalano District, Muna Regency, namely a) Cultural Meaning, b) Social Meaning, c) Education Meaning, d) Family Meaning.

Abstract

When the Toba Batak ethnic wedding party in the Silalahi area, where Tortor was held, was no longer a medium of communication by paying attention to the meaning of every symbol of the movements that exist in Tortor, but Tortor was held to only be an art that could entertain and enliven the party and some had purposes can seek profit for the party organizers. This study aims to determine the meaning contained in the Tortor dance in Batak Toba marriage in Silalahi Village and to find out how the community's understanding of the meaning contained in the Tortor dance movement in Batak Toba marriage in Silalahi Village. The study used qualitative methods with the informant as the data source, and the researchers themselves as a means of capturing data using interview guidelines. The results of the research on the meaning of the Tortor dance movement in Toba Batak marriage show that the meaning of Manea-nea in a Toba Batak marriage is a way of welcoming the bride and groom and their entourage to enter the building. Mamasu-masuya where the bride and groom ask for blessings from parents, parhata kings and invited guests. Manombaya is the last worship performed by the bride and groom to their parents.

Abstract

The problem in this study is poverty in the people of Sofan Village, South East Taliabu District, Taliabu Island Regency. The purpose of this study was to assess poverty in the community of Sofan Village, South East Taliabu District, Taliabu Island Regency. This study uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques used are observation, documentation and interviews. The data analysis technique used in this study was the Milles and Huberman technique. Determination of informants in this study using purposive sampling technique. The results show that in general the Sofan Village community is a poor community, and the factor that causes poverty in the Sofan Village community is the low education factor, this lack of employment can be seen in general from the work of the community is farmers and fishermen. Another thing that causes poverty is the lack of income and the habit of some people who were still sitting before working. Another factor that causes poverty in the people of Sofan Village is the attitude of being dependent on other parties, especially the Government. This attitude of being too dependent on others is what causes them to live in poverty.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify, describe and analyze the customary system of death of the Toraja Metanda Mali 'and Metua' tribes which strengthens brotherhood. This study uses qualitative research, using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques with interactive models Miles and Huberman, Sugiyono 2015. Results of the study shows that in the process of the social tradition of Metanda Mali' and Metua' at the funeral ceremony of Rambu Solo' in the Toraja community, especially in Lembang Lemo Menduruk, it is always considered a burden to the community because the care given is interpreted by the community as a form of debt that must be paid. Metanda Mali' is a form of care given by people who have no family relationship with the grieving person, Metua is a form of concern given by people who have family relations with the grieving person, in the Toraja language it is called “Rara Buku”. only focused on Metanda Mali' and Metua' as a burden without the community realizing that the tradition of Metanda Mali'and Metua' can strengthen brotherly relations.

Abstract

The problem in this study is about the perception of pinokalan village community regarding the assistance of Kota Tanpa Kumuh Program (KOTAKU) where they are concerned about the inability of the opportunity to receive this assistance and the purpose of this research is to know and describe the perception of pinokalan village community in the implementation of KOTAKU program. In this study using qualitative research method with observation and interview data collection techniques. And the results of this study show that the perception of the people of Pinokalan Village that we do not receive assistance kotaku program from the government when our environment is organized and not worth our stay because of the densely populated conditions and only a few residents of our village who get assistance in the form of home improvement, roads and drainage but it is an assistance from PNPM not from KOTAKU and the government only chooses milih residents for i kut in socialization therefore we as other pinokalan community do not know and only know from others that socialization has been implemented about KOTAKU in Pinokalan Village. In the PROGRAM KOTAKU Pinokalan village is used as a companion village when compared to other villages that get assistance from KOTAKU Pinokalan Village can be said to be more eligible to get assistance from this KOTAKU program

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out, describe and analyze how government policies improve road infrastructure, and to find out, describe and analyze the factors that cause obstacles not to improve road infrastructure in Makalonsouw village. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method, which describes a social phenomenon or an ongoing situation in accordance with the reality seen by researchers with observation and interview data collection techniques and data analysis techniques. Informants in this study were the community, religious leaders and government in the Makalonsouw village.The results of this study found that road damage in Makalonsouw village is a problem experienced by the people of Makalonsouw village. This problem causes the community to have difficulty in carrying out daily activities - this road infrastructure development really needs to be paid attention to by the local government. This damaged road condition is caused by the number of vehicles that are heavily loaded so that the road is damaged. The damage to the existing road in Makalonsouw village was caused by many heavy-loaded vehicles which resulted in damaged road conditions. Adequate road infrastructure is an indicator that supports economic growth in Makalonsouw village, because with adequate road infrastructure it can facilitate community activities or people who will go out of Makalonsouw village.

Abstract

This research problem is the development of potential talaga paca tourist attractions and the setup of infrastructure infrastructure and tourism facilities in the village of talaga paca northern halmahera district. The study aims to describe the inhibitory and contributing factors in the development of the objectives for tourism in the village of talaga paca (a) the potential for tourism (b) the potential tourist infrastructure (c) the benefits and fungus tourism for community life, and the study USES a qualitative method. The results of this study show that. (a) the lack of awareness of tourism's potonsi on terms of infrastructure that still lack. (b) governments should always come down to socializing with tourism (c) in order to better understand the benefits and functions of tourism to their host lives (d), and communities should have access Competitiveness with the development of the current globalization.

Abstract

The objectives to be achieved in this study are to examine the behavior of alcohol abuse and to describe the factors that influence adolescents to consume alcohol among adolescents in Suluan Village, Tombulu District. The focus of the research in this study is "Alcohol Abuse Behavior Among Adolescents in Suluan Village, Tombulu District, Minahasa Regency. The research method used is qualitative. Qualitative research method aims to provide a systematic, factual and accurate description. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation. The behavior of alcohol abuse among teenagers in Suluan Village It is very severe and disturbing the people in the village, sometimes they even create problems in the midst of the community, namely by fighting, even holding people who pass on the street, if they have consumed alcohol. liquor the ability to control themselves both physically and socially is out of control. Teenagers roam the streets screaming, it makes the local community very disturbed by their actions. The behavior of teenagers every day in Suluan Village, most of them consume liquor to get drunk. Some even consume liquor for a full day and when they get drunk they can no longer control themselves because their emotions are disturbed. Abstract

The problem in this study is that Buntalo Village is a village located in Lolak sub-district, where most of the people are in low economic conditions, although there are also people who have good economic conditions. Buntalo village people who have a mediocre income or family economy are farmers who work in the fields where their income depends on the availability of jobs from the owners of the fields. With mediocre economic income, it also has an impact on children's education, where the education of children in Buntalo village is not at a good level of education, where the education level in Buntalo village is only up to elementary and junior high school levels. The research method used in this research is qualitative research. The level of income is one measure to see the level of community welfare. Especially for lowland rice farmers with narrow lands, whose access to land owned is very limited. However, it does not mean that they belong to the poor group because they have other accesses (education, labor) and can be utilized.

Abstract

The hadrat tradition is a religious tradition of the Butonese community in Gandasuli village. With the intention to commemorate Eid al-Adha and prevent people from things that are not wanted. Literally, hadrat can be interpreted as a sacrifice by the Gandasuli community. This study aims to reveal how the Gandasuli village community interprets the hadrat tradition. And also to find out the origin of the birth of this hadrat tradition. The method approach used in this study is a qualitative method which aims to provide a systematic, factual, and accurate description. By describing the data obtained, it is analyzed qualitatively. From the results of this study, it has been found that the Gandasuli village community interprets this tradition as a form of their identity and also how they express their love for the Buton people tradition. However, there are also shortcomings in understanding the meaning of this tradition, especially for the younger generation, this is due to the lack of knowledge of the gandasuli culture. Meanwhile, there are three meanings contained in the hadrat tradition based on the analysis and research results, namely; meaning of unity, religious meaning and aesthetic meaning
