Abstract

Persons with disabilities in Indonesia still face significant challenges in achieving independence due to discriminatory views and limited access to various services, including assistive devices. In Surabaya City, with a substantial number of persons with disabilities, the Social Services Department of Surabaya City, through its social rehabilitation program, strives to improve their quality of life by distributing assistive devices. This program involves systematic stages, starting from receiving reports, conducting field surveys, measuring assistive devices, to distributing aid to recipients in need. The program successfully distributed various assistive devices, such as wheelchairs, hearing aids, and prosthetic limbs, with a total of 254 units during the writer's internship period (September 23 - December 31, 2024). As a result, recipients demonstrated significant improvements in independence, both in carrying out daily activities and in interacting with others. Additionally, the families of the recipients also experienced benefits in the form of reduced burdens, as family members who were previously fully dependent now have greater abilities to manage their own needs. This program is expected to continue to grow and provide further solutions to help build an inclusive and empowered society for persons with disabilities in Surabaya.

Using the multiple linear regression method by carrying out the Best Linear Unbiased Estimation (BLUE) test, and analysis hypothesis testing. The results of this research concluded that simultaneously the human development index (HDI) in Jombang Regency during the 2007-2021 period was influenced by local original income (PAD), balancing funds and expenditure in the health sector. However, only partial balancing funds can influence the human development index in Jombang Regency during the 2007-2021 period.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of consumer behavior, namely game satisfaction, consumption value, character identification, and hedonic motivation on the repurchase intention of virtual items in the Mobile Legends Bang Bang game. This study uses a causal associative research method that shows a causal relationship between several variables with this type of quantitative research. Identify 105 respondents of Bang-Bang Mobile Legends game players who have purchased skins or virtual items with the age of 15-40 years spread throughout Indonesia. The data analysis technique uses the Likert scale and uses Partial Least Square to see the influence between variables. The results showed that game satisfaction, consumption value, character identification, and hedonic motivation had a positive and significant effect on the repurchase intention of virtual items in the Bang Bang Mobile Legends game with a significance level below alpha 10 percent. About 80 percent of simultaneous tests of independent variables were able to explain their effect on the repurchase intention of virtual items. This shows that behavior based on the above aspects can affect players' considerations and decisions to purchase skins or virtual items released by the Bang Bang Mobile Legends game, so that the virtual item business can become a lucrative opportunity and market share for game developers and players.

Abstract

Regional autonomy demands a division of authority between the Center and the regions, which in turn has an impact on budgeting policies. On the one hand, central government spending is oriented towards equity, but on the other hand, the regions understand very well their respective characteristics. The government's budget is always results-oriented, so this research can later be used as a benchmark in planning budgeting. In terms of spending on Education in Indonesia, the budget is channeled through central government spending and local government spending. This research is structured to see between the Central Government or Local Government, more significant in accelerating human quality (IPM) in Indonesia. This study uses Vector Auto Regression with Bayesian Vector Auto Regression model specifications to determine the effect between the variables studied. The variables used in this study are the Central Government Expenditure budget, Regional Government Expenditure on Education through Transfers from the Center to the Regions, Adjusted Per Capita Expenditure, and the Human Development Index from 2007 – 2020. The estimation results show a tendency for local government spending to be more able to increase Human Development Index compared to the Education budget through central government spending. This finding indicates that in the end, the results of decentralization, one of which is the delegation of authority for local government spending, can accelerate the human development index higher than the expenditure issued by the central government.

Abstract

The swift rise of social commerce, notably TikTok Shop, has significantly altered how consumers shop for beauty products. This study analyzes the impact of live streaming and user reviews on the decision to buy Wardah products on TikTok Shop, with trust acting as a mediator. The research focused on Wardah customers in Surabaya who had used TikTok Shop for their purchases. Utilizing an accidental sampling technique, the study gathered responses from 105 participants. The data were processed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The findings demonstrate that live streaming significantly enhances both trust and purchase intentions. This pattern is mirrored for online customer reviews. Trust is also shown to be a significant direct predictor of purchase decisions. Finally, mediation analysis confirms that trust significantly mediates the paths through which live streaming and online reviews affect purchase decisions. This demonstrates that while live streaming and positive reviews directly encourage purchases, their effectiveness is substantially enhanced when they first establish consumer trust. For cosmetic brands on social commerce platforms, building trust is therefore a critical mechanism through which interactive marketing tools drive consumer decision-making.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Omnichannel Service in activating Latent Consumer Behavior with Perceived Value as an intervening variable at CV Empat Cahaya Noesantara. The research is based on the issue of increasing consumer interactions across digital channels that are not matched by actual conversion from latent consumers into active customers, highlighting the need to understand how Omnichannel Service shapes consumers’ Perceived Value. The research uses a quantitative method with Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The sample consists of digital channel users of CV Empat Cahaya Noesantara who have interacted with the platform but have not completed or rarely engaged in transactions. Data were collected through an online questionnaire to examine both direct and indirect relationships among the variables. The results show that Omnichannel Service has a positive and significant effect on Perceived Value and Latent Consumer Behavior. Perceived Value also significantly influences Latent Consumer Behavior and mediates the relationship between Omnichannel Service and Latent Consumer Behavior. These findings emphasize the importance of channel integration, responsiveness, and information quality in enhancing Perceived Value and activating latent consumers.
