Abstract

The first 1,000 days of life represent a critical window of opportunity to ensure optimal child growth and development. Maternal anemia is a major risk factor for low birth weight (LBW) and stunting at birth. Despite the nationwide iron supplementation program, the prevalence of anemia remains high, largely due to poor adherence to iron tablet (IFA) consumption among pregnant women. This study aims to develop a knowledge measurement instrument regarding dietary patterns for anemia prevention during pregnancy. A mixed-method approach was used, with a qualitative component as the dominant phase. Content analysis was conducted to identify key themes and generate items for the questionnaire, based on data from public discussions, in-depth interviews, and literature review. Instrument validity and reliability were tested quantitatively on 30 pregnant women participating in an online stunting prevention class. The qualitative analysis identified 9 variables, 21 dimensions, and 90 questionnaire items. Validity testing showed that 75 items were valid, and reliability testing yielded a Cronbach’s Alpha of 0.962, indicating high reliability. Knowledge scores showed that 62.5% of respondents had good knowledge of anemia-preventive dietary practices. A normality test confirmed that the data were normally distributed (p = 0.200). This study successfully produced a valid and reliable instrument to measure pregnant women’s knowledge of anemia-preventive dietary patterns. The instrument is suitable for evaluation through pre- and post-intervention assessments in health education programs delivered via social media and other online platforms.

Abstract

Indonesia's Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises sector in 2022 will reach 9.1 million. One of the MSMEs developing in Indonesia is furniture at the East Jakarta Furniture Industry Center. Based on researchers' observations of furniture workers at the East Jakarta Furniture Industry Center, many workers still work without personal protective equipment, and the working environment conditions are poor. Testing has been carried out. In tidying work activities such as sanding, the worker's body posture can cause work fatigue, which causes accidents and work-related illnesses that cause losses. They are proving the effect of work posture on work fatigue of furniture workers in the furniture industry center. This research design was cross-sectional, and the sample size in this study was 127 respondents, with data collection using a reaction timer and questionnaire. Data analysis uses univariate tests, bivariate tests, and multivariate tests. Multivariate analysis results show that work posture factors (p=0.002) have an influence on work fatigue after being controlled by work climate factors (p=0.012), history of illness (p=0.06), and workload (p=0.09) with a value of 0R = 4.061. Entrepreneurs/employers should provide short chairs, drinking water, and exhaust fans, conduct regular health checks, and regulate workload. The government strengthens labor supervision and makes regulations that require periodic health checks and company compliance to participate in BPJS.

Abstract

Marketing strategies are used to ensure business success, including in the healthcare sector, which now faces intense competition among hospitals, clinics, and community health centers. Community health centers, as the primary government healthcare facilities, play a crucial role in providing first-level services. Patient satisfaction is a key indicator of service quality in primary healthcare facilities, including community health centers (puskesmas). Preliminary observations at Kalideres Community Health Center, West Jakarta, showed a satisfaction level of 77.8%, although complaints regarding waiting time, facility completeness, and cleanliness were still reported. Sociodemographic factors, BPJS insurance membership, and visit frequency may influence patients’ perceptions and expectations of healthcare services. This study aimed to analyze factors associated with patient satisfaction at Kalideres Community Health Center. A quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design was used. The sample consisted of 100 patients selected through non-probability incidental sampling. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed through univariate, bivariate, and multivariate methods. Bivariate analysis showed that monthly income (p=0.005; OR=3.840; CI 1.55–9.55) and visit frequency (p=0.000; OR=11.806; CI 4.17–33.41) were significantly associated with patient satisfaction. Multivariate analysis produced a Nagelkerke R² of 0.317, identifying employment status (p=0.038; OR=2.872), income (p=0.037; OR=0.282), and visit frequency (p=0.000; OR=0.138) as significant predictors. Visit frequency was the most dominant factor influencing satisfaction. These findings recommend optimizing BPJS administrative processes, strengthening patient education regarding the benefits of regular visits, enhancing satisfaction monitoring, and improving communication quality and service delivery to support sustained patient satisfaction.

Abstract

Health workers who are less motivated to work will show less than optimal performance, characterized by higher levels of fatigue, decreased work discipline, and decreased concern for service quality. Often the lack of motivation is caused by things such as lack of opportunities for career development, inadequate compensation, excessive workload, and lack of appreciation for performance. To determine the effect of workload on the work motivation of health workers at the Sukatani Health Center in Purwakarta. This study uses a quantitative research method with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique uses a total sampling method of 60 health workers at the Sukatani Health Center in Purwakarta. Bivariate analysis uses the chi-square test and multivariate analysis uses multiple logistic regression. Based on the Chi-square test, the P value is 0.000 <0.05, which indicates that there is a significant influence between workload on the motivation of health workers at the Sukatani Health Center with an Odd Ratio (OR) value of 13. The results of the multiple logistic regression test obtained the largest result of 63.865 which indicates that the variable number of positions as the most dominant confounder factor influences workload on work motivation. Health center management should develop policy plans that can reduce workload and increase employee motivation by managing time wisely to help reduce stress, conducting open discussions in finding solutions together with task division and target adjustments, delegating tasks and integrating activities to increase efficiency, ensuring adequate rest to avoid physical and mental fatigue, optimizing the use of existing systems to reduce manual workload, providing regular training on occupational safety (K3).
