Abstract

Program kegiatan Posyandu seharusnya tidak terbatas pada penimbangan, imunisasi, pemberian vitamin, pemeriksaan ibu hamil saja. Penyuluhan yang mengarah pada kesehatan seharusnya juga perlu dilaksanakan setiap 1-2 bulan tidak hanya insidental atau jika terjadi kasus / permasalahan. Program pelayanan tambahan di Posyandu tersebut yang sesuai rambu-rambu Kementrian Kesehatan jarang dilaksanakan. Menindak lanjuti program PPM tahun 2018, 2019, serta permintaan beberapa ibu balita dan kader posyandu Dahlia 5 Tim abdimas program studi pendidikan Biologi akan kembali melaksanakan PPM di posyandu kalurahan Jombor Sukoharjo yaitu Dahlia 5 dengan tema penyuluhan dan pelatihan pembuatan makanan atau snek jajanan sehat pelancar ASI. Pelatihan direncanakan sebanyak 2 kali, namun karena kondisi Pandemi Covid 19 hanya bisa dilaksanakan satu kali.  Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah dan tanya jawab, serta bimbingan praktek cara pembuatan makanan/snek jajanan sehat Pelancar ASI dari tanaman di sekitar kita melalui demonstrasi dengan video. Target dari penyuluhan dan pelatihan ini adalah terjadi peningkatan pemahaman tentang; manfaat ASI, tanaman pelancar ASI, dan cara memasak makanan snek jajanan sehat pelancar ASI ibu-ibu dan kader Posyandu Dahlia 5 kalurahan Jombor sebesar 20%. Dari hasil penyuluhan dan pelatihan tentang manfaat ASI dan cara pembuatan makanan olahan pelancar ASI pada ibu-ibu Balita dan Kader Posyandu Dahlia 5 kalurahan Jombor dapat disimpulkan berhasil karena terjadi peningkatan pemahaman dari skor rata-rata 71.08 menjadi 90.83 atau sebesar 19,75 (28,24%). Kegiatan yang sejenis masih perlu dilaksanakan dan ditingkatkan, karena masih banyak masyarakat yang membutuhkan penyuluhan dan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan ketrampilan dalam bidang kesehatan ibu dan anak.

Abstract

Pakis merupakan media tanam terbaik untuk anggrek, karena dilindungi maka diperlukan solusi untuk mengurangi atau mengganti media pakis dengan campuran kompos. Pada penelitian ini dipilih kompos kulit kacang tanah dan kompos jerami sebagai campuran media. Selain mengurangi media pokok,  kompos juga dapat berfungsi sebagai pupuk. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui; 1. pengaruh campuran kompos pada media tanam terhadap pertumbuhan seedling anggrek Dendrobium sp 2. jenis kompos dan komposisi campuran, pada media tanam untuk pertumbuhan seedling anggrek Dendrobium sp. Waktu penelitian 2,5 bulan, objek penelitian adalah Dendrobium sp. anggrek berumur 12 bulan, lokasi penelitian di Desa Gabahan, RT 05 RW 12, Jombor Sukoharjo. Rancangan penelitian acak kelompok dengan 5 perlakuan. Perlakuan Penanaman seedling anggrek dengan media pakis dicampur kompos kulit kacang tanah 1/2 bagian (A), media dicampur kompos kulit kacang tanah 1/3 bagian (B), media dicampur kompos jerami 1/2 bagian (C), media dicampur kompos jerami 1/3 bagian (D), dan perlakuan dengan media pakis sebagai kontrol (E).  Variabel yang diamati adalah jumlah daun, panjang daun, luas daun, jumlah batang, serta tinggi tanaman yang diukur 12 minggu setelah penanaman. Analisis data menggunakan Uji Varian (Uji ANOVA/Kruskal Wallis) dilanjutkan dengan Uji DMRT atau Uji Median Mood. Pemberian campuran kompos pada media tanam baik kompos kulit kacang tanah maupun kompos jerami berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan seedling anggrek Dendrobium sp pada variabel panjang daun dan tinggi tanaman. Sedangkan pada variabel jumlah daun, luas daun dan jumlah batang tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan.  Perlakuan campuran kompos B dengan campuran kompos kulit kacang tanah 1/3 bagian memberikan pengaruh paling baik pada variabel pertumbuhan panjang daun, jumlah daun, luas daun, serta jumlah batang. Pengaruh campuran kompos jerami 1/2 maupun 1/3 bagian media terhadap pertumbuhan seedling anggrek kalah bagus dibanding dengan kompos kulit kacang tanah.

Abstract

Pests and diseases that attack Crystal Guava are the main obstacles in increasing agricultural productivity, as well as disrupting plant physiology and growth. The purpose of this study was to identify pests and diseases of crystal guava (Psidium guajava L). The study was conducted for 3 months, (June-August) 2022 in three crystal guava gardens in Gemawang Village, Dukuh, Ngargoyoso District, Karangayar. Data were obtained from observations of guava plant samples crystals and fruit attacked by pests and diseases, as well as interviews with owners and managers to obtain information about cultivation from planting to harvest. The results of the research found several pests of Crystal Guava (Psidium guajava L.), including: Frogs (Cynopterus spp.), Fruit flies (Bactrocera dorsalis), caterpillars (Setora nitens), ladybugs (Helopeltis sp.), sac caterpillars (Lepidopthera: Psychide), shoot caterpillars (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae), and mealybugs (Paracoccus marginatus). morphology due to nutrient deficiency (potassium/magnesium); black spot and fruit rot by the fungus Collectrichum gleosporioides Penz, fruit canker (scab) Pestalotiopsis psidii (pat) Mordue, red rust by the algae Chephaleurus virescens, wilt disease by the algae Fusarium sp, and the fungus Cercospora psidii. Treatment was carried out once a week, by applying NPK and gandasil fertilizers and spraying with regent 50 insecticides, Yasithrin and Fostin. as well as wrapping young fruit. Pests and diseases found in Crystal Guava plantations in this study can reduce production, therefore the results of this study can be used as information material for novice farmers who want to develop Crystal Guava picking tours both on plantations and in their yards.

Abstract

Tanaman cabe rawit Capsicum frutescens L. termasuk tanaman hortikultura yang buahnya dimanfaatkan untuk keperluan aneka pangan dan bumbu dapur yang hampir setiap hari dicari oleh masyarakat di kota maupun pedesaan. Oleh karena itu banyak hal yang menarik untuk dikembangkan dari tanaman cabai rawit.  Penelitian ini berfokus pada pertumbuhan cabe rawit mulai dari semai hingga penanaman dengan berbagai perlakuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan 4 perlakuan diantaranya penyiraman dengan ekoenzim, penyiraman dengan rendaman kulit bawang merah, penyiraman dengan rendaman teh dan kontrol. Organogenesis yang diamati yaitu bagian batang dan daun tanaman cabe rawit pada 8 hari setelah tanam (HST) dan 13-HST. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap dengan 40 ulangan pada setiap perlakuan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada panjang batang dan daun terbaik pada 13-HST didapat dengan perlakuan penyiraman larutan ekoenzim. Morfologi akar pada 50-HST menunjukkan adanya persamaan pada semua perlakuan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan bermanfaat menambah informasi ilmiah terkait perbanyakan tanaman cabe.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) Manajemen internalisasi kepedulian ingkungan pada anggota karang taruna Andeta Taman Kulon Wiroko Trtomoyo Wonogiri. 2) Program dan pelaksanaan kegiatan kepedulian lingkungan dalam skala mingguan dan bulanan bagi anggota katang taruna Andeta Taman Kulon Wiroko Tirtomoyo Wonogiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, lokasi penelitian berada di Dusun Taman Kulon Wiroko Tirtomoyo Wonogiri. Subyek penelitian ini adalah ketua karang taruna Andeta Taman Kulon, sekretaris dan dua anggota karang taruna. Sedangkan Ketua RT dan Kepala Dusun sebagai informan Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: 1) Dari perencanaannya dilakukan pada setiap rapat rutin bulanan karang taruna yakni setiap malam minggu di awal bulan. Pengorganisasian SDM saat kegiatan dengan melibatkan seluruh anggota dan menunjuk seksi kebersihan sebagai penangung jawab. Pelaksanaan kegiatan kepedulian lingkungan ada yang bersifat mingguan dan bulanan. Pengawasan dilakukan oleh ketua karang taruna dan Kepala Dusun. Evaluasi ini dilakukan pada saat rapat rutin dibulan berikutnya. 2) Kegiatan karang taruna Andeta Taman Kulon sebagai bentuk internalisasi kepedualian lingkungan yakni memungut sampah rumahan yang dilaksanakan satu kali dalam seminggu dan sapu bersih lingkungan di 3 RT dan masjid yang masing-masing satu kali dalam sebulan. Kata-kata Kunci:  manajeman, kepedulian lingkungan, karang taruna

Abstract

Water quality must be maintained so that it remains beneficial to humans and other living things, as a means of improving public health. The requirements for clean water quality have been regulated in Permenkes No. 416 of 1990 concerning Requirements and Supervision of Water Quality. The purpose of this study was to analyze water quality with hardness and pH parameters for water hygiene and sanitation used by the people of Semin village, Semin district, Gunungkidul district. The test results showed that the highest hardness level was found in sample C3 which was 228.86 mg/L and the lowest hardness level was found in sample A2 which was 89.55 mg/L. The highest pH test results were found in sample D3, which was 8.1, while the lowest pH level was found in sample A2, which was 6.5. Based on the test results, water from drilled wells in Semin village, Semin sub-district, Gunungkidul regency, is still suitable for use for hygiene and sanitation purposes.

Abstract

This study aims to identify rare medicinal plants in Manggeh Village, Karanganyar District, Karanganyar Regency, as well as to understand the level of knowledge and understanding of the community regarding rare medicinal plants in areas with a low tendency. The research method used was field surveys, interviews, and direct observation of 40 respondents who were randomly selected from people in low inclined areas. The results showed that there were a number of rare medicinal plants in Manggeh Village. These plants have high medicinal potential and have been used traditionally by the local community. However, the level of public knowledge and understanding regarding rare medicinal plants is still limited. Although some people are familiar with rare medicinal plants in general, in-depth knowledge about their benefits, uses and potential side effects is still limited. This research provides a deeper understanding of the biodiversity in Manggeh Village and provides useful information for the community in the proper and responsible use of medicinal plants. The results of this study can also be a basis for local governments in developing policies for the conservation of rare medicinal plants.

Abstract

Cassava (Manihot esculenta crantz) is a type of tuber which has a carbohydrate content of 34% and can be processed as an alternative staple. One of which is mocaf flour (Modified Cassava Flour) which is flour derived from cassava and modified by lactic acid bacteria fermentation. Mocaf flour can be used to make bread, noodles and cakes. One of the efforts to utilize cassava into mocaf flour into processed products has been carried out by the Sumber Makmur Women Farmers Group (KWT). The purpose of this research is to improve the skills of KWT Sumber Makmur members of Tepisari Village in producing mocaf flour independently so they can create processed food products from mocaf flour that are of higher quality and variety. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the results obtained from making Mocaf Cookies which will be discussed and observed, namely swelling power, taste, aroma and texture. The results obtained from the process of making mocaf flour with tape yeast can produce good quality mocaf flour and processing mocaf cookies has produced cookies with sufficient expansion power, savory taste, distinctive aroma and crunchy texture. The use of cassava into mocaf flour at KWT Sumber Makmur, it is able to provide increased insight into the process of making mocaf flour. As well as the development of KWT mocaf cookies processed products that have high selling value.

Abstract

Anthurium flower is an ornamental plant that is widely known and favored by plant lovers. Apart from being a beautiful plant, anthurium is a type of ornamental plant that is easy to care for and cultivate. The purpose of this research is to get anthurium crosses with better variations and to understand proper care and cultivation methods. This research was conducted in the Sewu Kembang Tourism Village, Nglurah Tawangmangu. Data collection in this study was carried out using observation and interview methods. The research data was then analyzed by descriptive qualitative. From the results of the research that has been done, data is obtained showing that anthurium plant propagation can be done in two ways, namely generative and vegetative. In cultivating anthurium, factors that need to be considered include tools and materials, nurseries, and planting methods. Then in the care of anthurium things that must be considered are watering, fertilizing, weeding, placement, repotting, and pest and disease control.

Abstract

The physiological and anatomical adaptation of the Rhoeo discolor plant to water conditions in the environment can be used as a learning resource/study material for plant physiology courses. One example of physiological and anatomical adaptation is the relationship between transpiration rate and number of stomata. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research on the relationship between transpiration rate and number of stomata in Rhoeo discolor plants at the University of Veteran Bangun Nusantara campus. Measurement of the rate of transpiration used Clobat Clorite paper and counted the number of stomata by making an incision in the lower epidermis of the leaf. Data analysis on the relationship between transpiration rate and number of stomata used prodact moment and qualitative descriptive to determine differences in transpiration rate and number of stomata in Rhoeo discolor leaves. From the research results it can be concluded; There is a relationship between the speed of transpiration and the number of stomata of the Adam Hawa plant (Rhoeo discolor) on the campus of the University of Veterans Bangun Nusantara, but the relationship is very small (r = 0.298). Discolor rhoeo plants that are in dry, dry shaded, and humid environments have different transpiration rates and number of stomata. Anatomically and physiologically the Rhoeo discolor plant can be used as a source of learning and an ornamental plant so that this plant needs to be cultivated and planted in more locations within the Veteran Bangun Nusantara University campus.
