Abstract

This research was conducted on Maret–April 2016 at Petani Nenas st.  Kualu Nenas village, Districts Tambang, District Kampar, Riau. It’s was aimed to ofthis researchwas to determine the effect of formulation ameliorant zooplankton abundance paet soil pool. The method used was an experimental methodbyusing acompletely randomized design (CRD) with one factor, six treatments and threereplications.Treatments applied were P0:without ameliorant, P1:formulation ameliorant dose 400 g/m2, P2:formulation ameliorant dose 600 g/m2, P3: formulation amelioran dose 800 g/m2, P4: formulation amelioran dose 1000 g/m2, P5: formulation amelioran dose 1200 g/m2. Based on the research  results showed that got 9 zooplankton species from 4 classes that: Protozoa, Rotatoria, Crustacea, dan Insecta. classes protozoa is 4species, than Rotatoria class1species, Crustacea class 3 species, and Insecta class 1species. The zooplankton species that got is Coccomonassp,Euglena sp, Ochromonas sp, Pleodarina sp, Keratella cochlearis, Cyclops sp, Daphnia sp, Moina sp dan Culex. Zooplankton abundance best is P5 with abundance to 170136 ind/l.

Abstract

Laundry activities produce waste laundry detergent. Laundry detergent waste toxicity tests need to be done research on test animals Patin (P. hypophthalmus) to determine the effect of surfactant materials on water quality and fish mortality rate Patin. This study aims to get the effect of acute and sub-chronic toxicity of waste and get the laundry detergent safe doses for seed growth Patin. The method used in this study is an experimental method by using a completely randomized design (CRD) with four treatments and three replications of each treatment. Preliminary test results obtained under the threshold value of 100 ml/L and the threshold value above 1000 ml/L. Acute toxicity tests using probit anlisis LC50-96 values obtained laundry detergent waste hours on 397 ml/L. In sub-chronic toxicity test showed the best concentration of laundry detergent waste contained at a concentration of 3.97 ml/L with an absolute weight of 1.15 grams, specific growth rate of 1.48% and 90% fish survival. Value safe biological limits in this study was 3.97 ml/L. It can be concluded that the difference in concentrations of laundry detergent waste significant effect (p<0.05) to Patin. The concentration of 3.97 ml/L is safe and not harmful to the aquaculture process Patin (P. hypophthalmus) using common water resources.

Abstract

This research was conducted on July 1, 2019 until Agustus 8, 2019 at the Laboratory of Environmental Quality of Culture, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, University of Riau. Objective of this study to determine the effect of laundry liquid waste on the acute toxicity test and sub lethal of Oreochromis niloticus and safe doses for the growth of O. niloticus. Determination of 96-h LC50 using the EPA probit method by using a statistical formed through the data of mortality (mortality) of test fish and the length of exposure time was briefly carried out withsoftware Probit Analysis in the SPSS program. In acute toxicity the value obtained of 96-h LC50 is 512,23 ml/ L and ‎the safe biological value (Biological Safety Level) is  5,12 ml/L.‎ In the sublethal test the best treatment during the study was found in treatment P1 (5,12 ml/L) with absolute weight growth of 1,28 g, specific growth rate of 1,37% and survival of  90%.

Abstract

The research was conducted from Juni to November 2013 in a Laboratory ofEnvironment Quality Cultivation, Fisheries and Marine Science Faculty of RiauUniversity. The purposed of this research was to knew improving the chemicalquality of podsolic red yellow pond bottom soil by a given pool mixed fertilize oforganic quail manure and inorganic fertilizers (Urea, SP 36 and KCl) with differentproportions. The method used in thisexperiment was Randomized CompleteDesign with 6 degrees of treatment with 3 replication. The treatment used in thisexperiment was (without treatment), P1 proportion of 100% organic fertilizer(75,96 g): 0% inorganic fertilizers (0 g; 0 g; 0 g), P2 proportion of 70% organicfertilizer (53,17 g): 30% inorganic fertilizers (0.25 g; 0.04 g; 0.14 g), P3proportion of 50% organic fertilizer (26,59 g): 50% inorganic fertilizers (4.16 g;g; 0,68 2.26 g, P4 proportion of 30% organic fertilizer (7.98 g): 70% inorganicfertilizers (5,82 g; 0.95 g; 3.16 g), P5 proportion0% organic fertilizer (0 g): 100%inorganic fertilizers (8.25 g; g; 4,52 1.36 g). Result showed that the provision oforganic and inorganic mixed with different dose effect to improve the chemicalquality of soil as pH, organic matter, cation exchange capacity and phosphate andwater quality too. Treatment that can provide the best influence on thecharacteristics of the land base of the pond is the proportion of 50% organicfertilizer:50% inorganic fertilizers.Keywords :fertilizer doses, quail manure fertilizer, soil quality, water quality

Abstract

Kelompok pembudidaya ikan Mina Usaha merupakan salah satu kelompok pembudidaya ikan patin yang terdapat di daerah Rumbai Bukit Kec. Rumbai Pekanbaru Riau. Penggunaan kolam tanah yang dominan di daerah ini pada umumnya dirajai pasir. Sangat sedikit tanah dasar yang berupa debu dan lempung. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan pembudidaya tentang perawatan kolam melalui pengapuran dan pemupukan. Selain itu, dalam kegiatan ini juga diberikan informasi/pengetahuan kepada pembudidaya tentang kualitas air kolam budidaya dan mengajarkan teknik pemantauan kualitas air. Manfaat pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada pembudidaya sehingga produktifitas kolam dapat ditingkatkan dan dapat meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat. Tahap kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam pengabdian ini antara lain persiapan pelaksanaan kegiatan, penyampaian materi, pengeringan kolam budidaya, pengapuran, pemupukan dan penggenangan, pemantauan kualitas air, serta analisis kualitas air. Berdasarkan pemantauan kualitas air didapatkan bahwa nilai suhu, pH, dan TSS yang berbeda-beda. pH air pada kolam berada pada range nilai 5-7, dan  suhu yang diukur berada pada nilai 30-350C, sedangkan nilai TSS 0,18-0,82 mg/l. Secara umum kondisi kualitas air setiap kolam pada Pokdakan Mina Usaha masih layak untuk kehidupan ikan budidaya.

Abstract

AbstractThis research was conducted on November 9, 2018 until December 15, 2018 at the Laboratory of Environmental Quality of Culture, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, University of Riau. Objective of this study to determine the effect of palm liquid waste on the acute toxicity test and sub lethal of Clarias gariepinus and safe doses for the growth of C. gariepinus. Determination of 96-h LC50 using the EPA probit method in the SPSS program.Palm liquid waste has an effect on C. gariepinusin the preliminary test the threshold value below 100 ml/L is obtained and the upper threshold value is 1000 ml/L. In acute toxicity the value obtained of 96-h LC50is 417,936 ml / L and ‎the safe biological value (Biological Safety Level) is  4,18 ml/L.‎ In the sublethal test the best treatment during the study was found in treatment P1 (4 ml/L) with absolute weight growth of 4.95 g, specific growth rate of 4.94% and survival of 80%.Keywords: toxicity, acute, sub lethal, palm liquid waste, Clarias gariepinus

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research was conducted on April-May 2018 in the Kualu Nenas Village, Tambang District, Kampar regency, Riau Province. Objective of study was to determine the effect of different biomass A. microphylla on increasing chemical parameters of water on peat soil. The method used in this study is an experimental method using a Complete Random Design (CRD) with 1 factor, 4 treatments and 5 replications. The treatment used in this experiment are P0 (without biomass of Azolla michrophylla ), P1 (biomass Azolla michrophylla 20 g/m2), P2 (biomass Azolla michrophylla 40 g/m2) and P3 ( biomass Azolla michrophylla 60 g/m2). The water quality parameters measured in this study are, pH, dissolved oxygen, CO2, nitrate and phosphate.The results showed that biomass of Azolla microphylla  had a significantly different effect on changes in chemical parameters of water on peat soil media. The best results that can improve the chemical parameters of peat water are found in the treatment of Azolla michrophylla 20 g / m2 (P1) by increasing the pH value (6.2); Dissolved oxygen (6,64 mg/L); Nitrate  (17,72 mg/L) and phosphate (3,31 mg/L). Except for CO2 concentration found in treatment P3 (Use of bimasa A. michrophylla 60 g / m2) which is 21.9 mg / L. Keyword : Azolla michrophylla, chemical parameters, Peat soil

Abstract

This research was conducted from February to March 2017 in the Kualu Nenas village, Tambang Distric, Kampar Regency, Riau. And Analyze Identification In Water Quality Management Laboratory. The purpose of this research is to know the best abundance of zooplankton on peat soil. The method used in this research is the experimental method using complete randomized design (RAL) 1 factor with 4 treatment levels and 3 repelications. treatment used are without vermicompost (P0), vermicompost from human fecal (P1), vermicompost from cow dung (P2), vermicompost from chicken manure (P3). The results suggest that treatments is vermicompost from human fecal (P1). The results showed that got 21 zooplankton species from 4 classes that: Protozoa, Rotatoria, Crustacea, dan Insecta. classes protozoa is 1 species, than Rotatoria class 13 species, Crustacea class 5 species, and Insecta class 1 species. Zooplankton abundance best is P1 with abundance of 11439 ind/l.Keywords : vermicompost, zooplankton, peat soil

Abstract

The research was conducted from February-April 2015 in the Laboratory Aquaculture Environmental Quality, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences University of Riau Pekanbaru. The method used in this study is an experimental method using a Complete Random Design (CRD) with 1 factor, 5 treatments and 3 replications. The treatment used in this experiment is P0:Without application of fertilizer (control), P1:grade N-P-K (20-10-0), P2:grade N-P-K (20-20-0), P3:grade N-P-K (20-30-0) and P4:grade N-P-K (20-40-0). Result showed that the given of phosphat fertilizer with different grade effected to some soil parameter quality. For parameter pH and P-available soil the best treatments is grade N-P-K:20-40-0 (P4). For N-total and C/N ratio the best treatment is grade N-P-K:20-10-0 (P1). For soil organic matter content the best treatment is control (P0). For the parameters of color, texture, bulk density and cation exchange capacity of phosphorus fertilizer with different grade is no effected. Results of measurements of water quality parameters during research that ranged is for pH of water from 3,75 to 6,27 and temperature of water that range from 27-310C. The range of water pH and temperature is still quite good for aquatic organisms .Keyword : phosphat fertilizer, peat soil, soil physical chemistry parameter

Abstract

This research was conducted from March until April 2015 at the Laboratory of Environmental Quality Cultivation of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science University of Riau. The aim of this research to find out the ability of Azolla microphylla absorb ammonia (NH3-N) in reducing the content of ammonia (NH3-N) in the cultivation media. The method used was experimental method and complete randomized design (CAD) with 1 factor 4 treatments and 3 replications. The results of this research that giving of Azolla microphylla with different density give effect to the decrease in ammonia (NH3-N)  in the cultivation media. The best density during research was 20 g Azolla microphylla/L of water could reduce ammonia (NH3-N)  content in the cultivation media was 0,188 mg/L.
