Abstract

Penelitian ini memberikan gambaran pelaksanaan tradisi bersih desa di Kota Batu Jawa Timur yang mempunyai kandungan nilai-nilai karakter dalam budaya bangsa khususnya karakter religius. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus, teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi kemudian data dianalisis menggunakan reduksi, display dan verifikasi data. Untuk mengecek keabsahan data penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi data. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah implementasi nilai karakter budaya bangsa dalam tradisi bersih desa khususnya nilai karakter religius sebagai berikut; (1) sebagai bentuk ungkapan rasa syukur kepada Tuhan yang Maha Kuasa atas karunia yang telah diberikannya kepada warga desa pada umumnya, (2) Sebagai ungkapan rasa terima kasih kepada leluhur desa yang telah “babad alas” atau bedah krawang di desa tersebut, sehingga mereka semua saat ini bisa menempati dan berkehidupan di desa tersebut, (3) Sebagai perwujudan kepercayaan atas adanya kekuatan alam yang tidak kasatmata yang melindungi desa tersebut seisinya yang diyakini dan disimbolkan sebagai pundhen, (4) Sebagai bentuk keinginan dan harapan untuk menolak segala bala’ atau sengkolo seperti penyakit, mara bahaya, prahara, tragedi. (5) Sebagai bentuk upaya nguri-uri budaya warisan nenek moyang yang penuh nilai kearifan local, (6) Sebagai bentuk ungkapan rasa sukacita dan kegembiraan warga masyarakat atas segala yang telah diperolehnya dalam satu tahun yang telah berjalan (hasil pertanian, perdagangan, keterampilan).

Abstract

Masyarakat merupakan salah satu indikator utama dalam tegaknya suatu hukum disuatu negara, sikap masyarakat yang aktif, dirasa perlu dilakukan terhadap kesadaran hukum lalu lintas, karena dalam proses penegakan hukum, masyarakat harus berada di belakangnya. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana upaya dan kendala yang sudah dilakukan oleh masyarakat atau lembaga terkait mengani kedisiplinan lalu lintas di perlintasan kereta api Kiaracondong. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, dipilih oleh peneliti, dirasa dapat mengembangkan suatu fenomena atau kasus di lapangan menjadi lebih luas dan mendalam, pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi kasus dianggap tepat untuk penelitian yang akan dilakukan oleh peneliti. Pengumpulan data yang diperoleh menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan oleh peneliti, peneliti mengambil sample penelitian kesadaran hukum masyarakat di perlintasan kereta Api Kiaracondong Bandung, kemudian diperoleh hasil yaitu, sikap, dan upaya yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat Kiaracondong belum banyak, dan belum terjun secara langsung di lapangan, namun masyarakat akan terus berusaha tertib dalam lalu lintas,sedangkan upaya yang dilakukan oleh aparat penegak hukum yaitu melakukan kegiatan disiplin perlintasan. Kendala yang dirasakan oleh masyarakat yaitu adanya kesempatan, dan juga posisi perlintasan yang berdampingan dengan pasar dan jalur masuknya pemukiman masyarakat, sejatinya partisipasi masyarakat sudah muncul dalam diri manusia masing-masing namun belum dilakukan secara langsung, dengan demikian perlu adanya hubungan timbal balik dari apparat penegak hukum, pemerintah dan masyarakat  agar dapat menanggulangi kendala dan permasalahan yang ada dilingkungan perlintasan kereta api Kiaracondong.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPengembangan karakter pada diri peserta didik merupakan suatu hal yang sangat penting, karena pengetahuan tanpa diiringi oleh karakter yang baik tentu tidak akan optimal implementasinya. Permasalahan hari ini seiring dengan adanya globalisasi membuat berbagai budaya asing masuk dengan bebas dalam alam pikir peserta didik, sehingga mengakibatkan berbagai perilaku yang tidak baik, seperti narkoba, tidak sopan pada orang lain, dan berorientasi materialistis. Atas dasar itu penulisa naskah ini menggunakan studi kepustakaan untuk mengkaji berbagai kajian-kajian terdahulu atas integrasi nilai-nilai budaya dan karakter dalam kurikulum Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan. Hasil penelusuran menunjukkan bahwa integrasi nilai-nilai budaya dan karakter bangsa bukan merupakan suatu mata pelajaran tunggal, akan tetapi merupakan aspek pendidikan yang terintegrasi pada setiap mata pelajaran, terutama Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan. Aspek adatif dalam kurikulum juga tercermin dalam pelaksanaan kurikulum Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan yang bertitik tolak pada kemampuan guru mengelaborasi kurikulum dalam proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, dapat dipahami bahwa integrasi nilai budaya dan karakter bangsa menjadi perhatian serius dari stakeholdes bidang pendidikan di Indonesia, serta perlu adanya dukungan kemampuan guru untuk dapat mengimplementasikan dengan optimal dalam proses pembelajaran.  ABSTRACTCharacter development in students is a very important thing, because knowledge without being accompanied by good character certainly will not be implemented optimally. Today's problems along with globalization have made various foreign cultures enter freely in the minds of students, resulting in various bad behaviors, such as drugs, being disrespectful to others, and materialistic orientation. On that basis the writing of this manuscript uses literature studies to examine various previous studies on the integration of cultural values and character in the Pancasila and Citizenship Education curriculum. The search results show that the integration of cultural values and national character is not a single subject, but an integrated aspect of education in each subject, especially Pancasila and Citizenship Education. The adaptive aspects of the curriculum are also reflected in the implementation of the Pancasila and Citizenship Education curriculum which is based on the teacher's ability to elaborate on the curriculum in the learning process. Based on this, it can be understood that the integration of cultural values and national character is a serious concern of stakeholders in the field of education in Indonesia, and there is a need for support for the ability of teachers to be able to implement it optimally in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the potential and challenges of culture-based learning in Indonesia. This study used the systematic literature review method with the PRISMA 2020 model. Data were collected from Harzing's Publish or Perish whose database comes from Scopus and Google Scholar. The data search used three keywords including "culture-based education", “culture-based learning”, "pembelajaran berbasis budaya", and "Pendidikan berbasis budaya". A total of 1,727 article data were obtained but only 25 articles met the inclusion criteria for the analysis stage. Then, data were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. The results of the study showed that culture-based learning has the potential to be applied to create quality human resources in Indonesia. This culture-based learning not only provides benefits in the aspects of knowledge, attitudes, and academic behavior but also strengthens the existence of local culture and even internalizes the values contained to develop the noble character of the students. Besides, the main challenge of culture-based learning in Indonesia was the teacher's understanding and skills in integrating local culture with the learning process and how to package the learning to fits the characteristics of students as the digital native generation who are close to the development of digital technology.

Abstract

This research was based on the condition of students legal awareness in the city of Bandung was still not good, and there were cases of juvenile delinquency at SMAN 27 Bandung. Therefore there was a need for efforts to foster legal awareness in students at SMAN 27 Bandung was through the Human Rights Law Awareness Student Forum. This study aimed to examine the implementation of legal awareness development in students through FPSH HAM SMAN 27 Bandung. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques were carried out in this study using interviews, observation, documentation, and literature study. Data analysis techniques were carried out using data reduction, data presentation, conclusions/verification, and data validity. The results obtained from this study are The results of fostering legal awareness in students through FPSH HAM  can have a good impact and benefit on schools, and members of the FPSH HAM, so that the results of the training carried out have added knowledge, understanding, attitudes, and legal behavior to students at SMAN 27 Bandung.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the new paradigm of a citizen who must have ideal competencies, one of which is civic skills. The scope of civic skills includes civic participatory skills. The aim of the research is to find out the mechanism for digitizing elections and to find out the skill level of student participation after using the digital system in general elections in university environments. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a case study approach by selecting informants using a purposive sampling technique. Then, the data used are primary data, namely data from research conducted on informants and secondary data obtained from literature studies. The results showed that by using the e-voting system the level of student political participation increased, namely in 2020 the percentage of voters was 83%, in 2021 the percentage of voters was 88% and in 2022 the percentage of voters was 91%. The presence of election digitalization using the e-voting system can improve student civic participatory skills because general elections for BEM chairmen can be carried out easily, quickly, effectively and efficiently and accurately so that there is no fraud in the vote recapitulation process.

Abstract

This study is to find out the factors that Cause the shift in the value of gotong royong under the foot of Mount Sinabung. People who live in the foot of Sinabung mountain, used to be famous for the value of gotong royong that Inherent in every day of their daily life. Both in agriculture, as well as in traditional events, karo people have close values of gotong royong, in the form of joy and in the form of sorrow. However, at the time of the eruption, there was a huge impact on karo people, especially the shift in the value of gotong royong. So, the qualitative approach is chosen in this study with documentation methods, observation techniques and interviews. The findings of this study showed that as for the factors that led to the shift in the value of gotong royong among others, the eruption of Mount Sinabung, materialistic attitudes and individualistic lack of community participation in holding closely the value of gotong royong, plus the flow of modernization or globalization. It is expected that the government and the community cooperate to realize the values of gotong royong who are experiencing youth, socializing the planting of the value of gotong royong karo community, so that the younger generation will continue to preserve the value of gotong royong Karo community.

Abstract

Minat terhadap pendidikan karakter meningkat, namun belum cukup untuk membuktikan efektivitas dari upaya pendidikan karakter di berbagai jenis dan budaya sekolah dalam membangun peradaban yang berkarakter dan menjunjung nilai moral Pancasila di Indonesia. Artikel ini menguraikan sebuah studi di beberapa Sekolah Dasar dan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah khususnya di kelas rendah yakni kelas 1 dan 2 di Bandung dan Kendari. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang mencoba menjelaskan dan menguji konsep keteladanan Aristotelian melalui  pendekatan teori pembelajaran sosial Albert Bandura melalui observasi dan wawancara mendalam pada 15 orang partisipan guru.  Artikel ini diharapkan memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan pendidikan karakter di Indonesia dengan mengadopsi pendekatan kebajikan nilai moral anak sesuai karakter moral Pancasila melalui keteladanan sesuai konsep childreen see, childreen do.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the application of the character values of the local Sipakatau Sipakainge Sipakalebbi (3S) to enhance student empathy in Social Sciences through the rational building model. The research method used was experiment quasi with a noninvasive or non-equitable control group design. This research used a questionnaire and an observation sheet as instruments that have been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis used the prerequisite test, namely the normality and homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing using the paired sample t-test analyzed using SPSS For Mac 25. Based on this study's results, applying the character values based on the local Sipakatau Sipakainge Sipakalebbi (3S) through the rational building model in Social Science lessons can enhance the student's empathy. The research revealed that applying Sipakatau Sipakainge Sipakalebbi (3S) local prudence values through the modeling rational building is well applicable. Based on pre-test and post-test results, students' empathy in the experimental class is enhanced to the "high" category.

Abstract

This research was motivated by distance learning as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic which caused the use of Moodle e-learning media in learning activities. This study uses a mixed method. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, cognitive tests, and questionnaires. The findings in this study; 1) Moodle-based e-learning plans for both schools and Citizenship Education teachers have developed and designed learning steps in a systematic manner that are in line with the learning objectives. 2) Based on the researcher’s observations from the opening activities, education has prepared learning resources in accordance with the lesson plans before learning begins. 3) Student learning outcomes based on cognitive tests at the end pf the lesson showed that most of the students had completed the learning sub unit with a percentage 64% of the overall class VII students which was a sample of 78 people, this was certainly influenced by the learning process in class and various assignments that have been completed by students. 4) The effectiveness of Moodle based e-learning at SMPN 30 Bandung in improving the civic knowledge of students in civics subjects, there are several things that must be considered. So it can be concluded that the use of Moodle in learning is effectively used in increasing the civic knowledge of students.
