Abstract

This study aims to analyze how national character development is implemented and its direction, goals, and top priorities in Indonesia. This study used the systematic literature review method with a qualitative approach. Fifteen reputable national journal (Sinta) articles and ten reputable international journal (Scopus) articles were looked at for 25 pieces. The data analysis technique used in this research was thematic analysis. Thematic analysis is one way to identify patterns and find themes through the researchers' data. The results of this study showed that Indonesians developed their national character by getting used to participating in leisure and intra-curricular activities and learning. The direction of building a solid national identity was done in three stages. The consolidation stage focuses on ensuring people understand the Pancasila philosophy, the stabilization stage in various subjects, curriculum and school, family and community participation, and the development stage to increase the inauguration of Pancasila ideology-based curriculum. The most crucial part of building national character was ensuring kids grow up to be good, tolerant, and creative citizens, work together, and have integrity and a global outlook.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the increased caring character of the student environment that acquires learning by using the project-based learning model of Ecobricks in social sciences learning. The research methods used quasi-experimental with nonequivalent pretest and posttest control group designs. The instruments used in the research were the questionnaire pretest and posttest. The student population of class VII 1 as a control class and class VII 5 as an experimental class was determined through descriptive analysis assisted by descriptive statistics to describe the initial and final characters of the experimental and control class students. Research results showed that using the project-based learning model of Ecobricks in Social Sciences lessons to develop the values of creativity and innovation can better enhance the character of caring for the student’s environment than learning by using multi-design PowerPoint media. Based on pretest and posttest results, the increased care character of the student environment in the experimental class is enhanced to the “middle” category.

Abstract

The educational process has a close and inseparable relationship with the environment. The school and parents of students play an important role in coaching students to improve their healthy lifestyles. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of the character of environmental care education through healthy schools and find out what are the inhibiting and supporting factors in improving healthy schools in SD Negeri 17 Tanjungpandan. Type of this research is a descriptive qualitative research approach. The subjects in this study consisted of school principals, teachers, and students at SD Negeri 17 Tanjungpandan. The techniques used in this research are observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data in this study used source triangulation and technique triangulation, then analyzed by data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.The results of this study indicate that the implementation of environmental care character education through healthy schools at SD Negeri 17 Tanjungpandan is integrated into learning which goes through the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages of learning. In addition, the implementation of environmental care character education is also carried out based on school policies, school programs, as well as environmental activities and management of facilities and infrastructure supporting healthy schools. Environmental care character education is also carried out based on school policies, school programs and environmental activities, as well as management of facilities and infrastructure that support healthy schools. Factors supporting the implementation of ecologically responsible character education in this healthy school are collaboration between school members and parents of students, as well as being supported by facilities and infrastructure. At the same time, the inhibiting factors are from the internal scope itself, such as some students who are still unaware of caring for the environment.

Abstract

Facing the era of globalization and modernization in this very dynamic era, researchers believe in the importance of strengthening the character of love for the country in students as the nation's next generation, one way is through Civic Education. Because Civic Education aims to prepare the next generation with a personality, culture and national perspective. By preparing the next generation who have a spirit of nationalism and a good national insight, this can be said to be a long-term plan for the continuity of the Indonesian nation and state in the future, because they are the ones who will continue leadership in this country and are responsible for maintaining unity and national unity and the ideology of Pancasila as the life guide for every Indonesian citizen in the future. Fostering a sense of patriotism or nationalistic values in the nation's future generations, which is one way through Civic Education, which is the most appropriate answer in facing the challenges of today's era and modernization. Because these efforts are very important and fundamental, so that the future generations of the nation can implement or practice the values of nationalism and Pancasila in their daily lives.

Abstract

Pada era transformasi revolusi industri 4.0, individu dituntut untuk bisa melakukan perubahan dan mengambil keputusan secara cepat. Untuk mengantisipasi berbagai problematika kehidupan, perlu adanya upaya dalam peningkatan kecerdasan emosional warga negara dalam rangka menghadapi revolusi industri 4.0 dan mencapai pendidikan yang berkualitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji strategi peningkatan kecerdasan emosional warga negara untuk menghadapi revolusi industri 4.0 dan mencapai pendidikan yang berkualitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi literatur, desain penelitian narrative review, dan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini merujuk pada artikel-artikel pada jurnal nasional, jurnal internasional, buku dan tesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan emosional warga negara ini sangat diperlukan dalam menghadapi transformasi revolusi industri 4.0 dan mencapai pendidikan yang berkualitas. Metode yang dilakukan orang tua dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan emosi anak, seperti: menerapkan pola pengasuhan yang baik, memberikan perhatian di setiap tahap perkembangan kecerdasan emosi, melatih anak agar dapat mengenali emosi dan memanajemennya dengan tepat. Metode guru dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan emosional peserta didik, yaitu dengan mengadakan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dan mengadakan kegiatan yang diorganisasikan dan sifatnya holistik (menyeluruh).

Abstract

In terms of being students, civic education is very closely related to the development of the character of citizens. In this case, vocational civics can also be developed and given to vocational higher education students. This research aims to find out about civics learning in vocational universities and the character development of students through vocational civics learning. The method carried out is research and development with the ADDIE model. The results showed that learning was carried out contextually and cooperatively with a project-based learning approach supported by 21st century skills. Learning develops citizen competencies in the form of knowledge, disposition, and skills. The character of students is developed in the forms of critical thinking, creativity, discipline, appreciation of work, and curiosity. In addition, with the vocational education approach, the aspects developed in vocational civics are communication skills, critical and creative thinking, information literacy, digital literacy, inquiry skills, interpersonal skills, multicultural literacy, problem solving, and technology skills. Meanwhile, support in the form of 21st century skills is shown through communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking.

Abstract

The rapid development of the times today is a challenge in building the character of students. The challenges faced by all nations related to the nature of citizenship have become national issues that require a comprehensive study to take strategic steps to overcome the problem. The application of control cards is one of the flagship programs owned by SMA Negeri Bernas Binsus Provinsi Riau, in building the character of its students. This study aims to explore and analyze the role of control cards in shaping the civic disposition of students at SMA Negeri Bernas Binsus Provinsi Riau. This research uses qualitative design with case study method. Data research techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study show that, with the control card plays a role in forming civic disposition including (1) discipline, obeying applicable rules, and orderly, (2) responsibility is shown from the facts found by researchers that they must be ready and accept sanctions or punishments for actions they violate, (3) honesty, very instrumental in educating and accustoming students to always tell the truth,  They are required to always be mandated to school rules.

Abstract

Masyarakat global didefinisikan sebagai masyarakat dengan pemikiran terbuka secara universal, tanpa terbatas secara teritorial, serta peduli dengan isu-isu negara lain. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk memahami bagaimana peran profil pelajar pancasila dalam upaya membentuk karakteristik global citizenship atau masyarakat global. Dalam prosesnya penelitian ini berpedoman berdasarkan pendekatan kualitatif, adapun lebih spesifik melalui metode deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan penelitian ini diketahui hasil yang menjelaskan bahwa profil pelajar pancasila merupakan proyek dalam upaya menguatkan nilai-nilai karakter pancasila, yang digagaskan oleh Menteri Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset dan Teknologi melalui kurikulum merdeka. maka dengan ini melalui profil pelajar pancasila dapat diupayakan untuk membentuk siswa sebagai bagian dari masyarakat global. Hal tersebut dapat dicapai melalui penerapan enam dimensi profil pelajar pancasila yaitu; (1) Beriman dan bertaqwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, (2) Berkhebinekaan global, (3) Mandiri, (4) Gotong royong, (5) Bernalar kritis, (6) Kreatif. Dalam prosesnya profil pelajar Pancasila diimplementasikan melalui sebuah proyek yang ditujukan untuk pelajar sepanjang hayat Indonesia, dalam rangka mengembangkan nilai-nilai budaya Indonesia serta Pancasila, agar dapat menumbuh kembangkan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) berkualitas, yang berkompetensi global serta berkepribadian berdasarkan nilai-nilai karakter Pancasila. Kompetensi global harus dipenuhi sebagai syarat menjadi bagian dari masyarakat global. AbstractGlobal society is defined as a society with universal open-mindedness, without being limited territorially, and concerned with the issues of other countries. This research is intended to understand the role of the Pancasila student profile in an effort to form the characteristics of global citizenship or global society. In the process this research is guided by a qualitative approach, while more specifically through a qualitative descriptive method. Based on this research, it is known that the results explain that the profile of Pancasila students is an opportunity in an effort to strengthen Pancasila character values, which was initiated by the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology through an independent curriculum as a form of 21st century education transformation. So with this, through the profile of Pancasila students, efforts can be made to form students as part of a global community. This can be achieved through the application of the six dimensions of the Pancasila student profile, namely; (1) Faith and piety to God Almighty, (2) Global diversity, (3) Independent, (4) Mutual cooperation, (5) Critical reasoning, (6) Creative. In the process, the Pancasila student profile is implemented through a project aimed at lifelong Indonesian students, in order to develop Indonesian cultural values and Pancasila, in order to develop quality Human Resources (HR), with global competence and personality based on character values. Pancasila. In addition, global competence must be fulfilled as a condition of being part of a global society.

Abstract

Penelitian mengkaji mengenai pembinaan kebajikan kewarganegaraan melalui program pendidikan karakter Budaya Sunda Bandung Masagi di SMPN 25 Kota Bandung ditengah dekadensi moral yang terjadi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan model studi kasus dengan teknik instrumen penelitian berupa wawancara dan observasi. Subjek dalam penelitian yaitu kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, guru serta siswa dengan total subjek wawancara 12 orang. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan oleh peneliti menggunakan metode Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian program dan perencanaan yang dilaksanakan telah sesuai dengan tujuan dengan harapan dapat membina civic virtue (kebajikan warga negara) dan membentuk karakter terhadap peserta didik, adapun pembinaan yang dilakukan di SMPN 25 Kota Bandung bisa dinilai baik, walupun belum sepenuhnya berjalan sempurna. Hal ini tercermin dari partisipasi siswa yang secara umum relatif baik lebih lanjut terlihat dari keikutsertaan siswa dalam pelaksanaan program pendidikan karakter bandung masagi pada beberapa kegiatan. Habituasi pendidikan karakter Bandung Masagi ditopang dengan empat pilar nilai filosofis etnopedagogik kearifan lokal yaitu silih asih, silih asuh, silih asah, dan silih wawangi, yang nantinya terintegrasi dan tercermin kepada perkembangan kognitif, psikomotor, serta afektif siswa.

Abstract

Analisis perkembangan dan dinamika teori karakter dan budaya bangsa Indonesia merupakan hal yang penting karena memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap pemahaman, pengembangan, dan pemeliharaan identitas nasional. Pemahaman karakter dan budaya bangsa Indonesia sangatlah penting dalam memperkuat persatuan, menjaga keberagaman, dan melindungi warisan budaya yang kaya. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk membahas mengenai pencapaian tujuan pendidikan karakter dan budaya bangsa indonesia: analisis perkembangan dan dinamika teori karakter dan budaya bangsa indonesia. Metode penulisan yang digunakan adalah literatur review. Hasilnya menyebutkan bahwa untuk mengembangkan teori pendidikan karakter dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai cara, diantaranya: mengembangkan moral dan etika yang baik, yang sesuai kaidah norma dan aturan yang berlaku, mempertahankan, melestarikan, menjaga dan memajukan kebudayaan dalam negeri, membentuk rasa nasionalisme dan patriotisme serta meningkatkan rasa cinta, menjaga Toleransi Keberagaman, mendorong Kepedulian Sosial dan mengembangkan Keterampilan Kritis dan Kreatif. Melalui penelitian ini, kita dapat memperoleh wawasan yang lebih mendalam tentang karakteristik unik dan kekayaan budaya bangsa Indonesia, serta memahami bagaimana perkembangan teori-teori karakter dan budaya berkontribusi dalam membentuk identitas nasional
