Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penerapan authentic learning strategies dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMAN 2 Kendari, khususnya dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi dan pemahaman materi siswa. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini mencakup eksplorasi pola pembelajaran yang digunakan, penemuan model penerapan strategi tersebut, serta pemahaman pertimbangan guru dalam memilih model pembelajaran yang sesuai. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode etnografi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan dokumentasi yang dilakukan di SMAN 2 Kendari. Analisis data mencakup transkripsi, kategorisasi, verifikasi, interpretasi, dan deskripsi hasil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran autentik mampu meningkatkan literasi dan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pelajaran. Strategi ini relevan dengan kehidupan nyata, sehingga membuat proses belajar menjadi lebih bermakna dan kontekstual. Siswa menunjukkan peningkatan motivasi, keterlibatan, serta keterampilan dalam membaca, menulis, berpikir kritis, dan kreatif. Selain itu, strategi ini juga memperkuat kemampuan komunikasi siswa melalui diskusi dan presentasi. Dengan menekankan pada tugas berbasis proyek dan refleksi diri, strategi ini mendorong kolaborasi, analisis, dan pemecahan masalah yang berorientasi pada isu sosial dan budaya.

Abstract

This study explores lie detection within cross-cultural communication by examining linguistic and cultural cues that indicate deception. Employing a qualitative approach with an explanatory comparative method, the research involved six participants from diverse ethnic backgrounds in Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia. Data were collected through observation and interviews using audio-visual scenarios designed to elicit both honest and deceptive responses. The findings reveal that linguistic cues to deception include uncertainty in speech, changes in intonation, unsynchronized eye contact and body language, and the use of ambiguous or vague expressions. Cultural cues also play a critical role, with norms, values, and traditions shaping how individuals express and interpret lying behaviors. For example, avoiding eye contact may signal dishonesty in one culture but signify respect in another. The research highlights that lie detection strategies grounded in single-cultural paradigms are insufficient for multicultural contexts. As a solution, the study proposes a new model that integrates linguistic and cultural parameters, offering a holistic framework for more accurate lie detection in intercultural settings. This integrated model contributes to both theoretical and practical domains, including law enforcement, diplomacy, and international business, where cultural sensitivity is essential. By advancing understanding of how language and culture interact in deceptive communication, the study addresses a critical gap in the literature and promotes more equitable and effective approaches to detecting deception in global interactions.

Abstract

Sistem pengelolaan sampah yang kurang baik serta adanya pencemaran air dan udara menyebabkan kualitas lingkungan hidup yang rendah di masyarakat karena mempengaruhi berbagai aspek kehidupan. Keadaan ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kepedulian lingkungan di masyarakat masih sangat rendah. Setiap individu memiliki peran dan tanggung jawab dalam menjaga kebersihan lingkungan. Untuk itu dibutuhkan sebuah tindakan guna meningkatkan kepedulian lingkungan di masyarakat sejak dini. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat sebagai solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini adalah dilaksanakannya pelatihan mendongeng bertemakan lingkungan pada anak di RPTRA. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan dalam beberapa proses yakni tahap perencanaan, tahap asesmen, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh peningkatan karakter peduli lingkungan pada anak di RPTRA. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan peningkatan nilai pre-test post test sebesar 26% serta kemampuan anak untuk mendongeng bertemakan lingkungan. Kegiatan pelatihan ini diharapkan mampu memberikan perubahan yang baik bagi anak-anak di RPTRA dalam peningkatan karakter peduli lingkungan. Pengaruh penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman pentingnya menjaga lingkungan, kegiatan mendongeng tidak hanya mengajarkan nilai – nilai lingkungan, tetapi juga mengembangkan kreativitas dan kemampuan komunikasi anak - anak. Dengan demikian pendekatan melalui pelatihan mendongeng dapat menjadi strategi yang efektif dalam menanamkan nilai kepedulian lingkungan sejak dini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan materi ajar teks pidato berbasis kesantunan berbahasa di SMPN 44 Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan atau research and development melalui model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik kuantitatif dan kualitatif yang diambil melalui penyebaran angket, observasi, dan wawancara. Proses validasi dilakukan kepada ahli media dan ahli materi. Hasil validasi ahli materi yang diperoleh adalah 3,3 dengan kriteria “Cukup Layak”, sedangkan hasil validasi ahli materi sebesar 3,6 dengan kriteria “Layak”. Hasil pengembangan produk disebarluaskan kepada 15 peserta didik Fase D di SMP Negeri 44 Jakarta dan dua guru Fase D SMPN 44 Jakart. Setelah disebarluaskan, hasil tanggapan guru dan siswa terhadap materi ajar sebesar 4,23 memiliki kriteria “Sangat Layak”. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, disimpulkan bahwa materi ajar teks pidato berbasis kesantunan berbahasa di SMPN 44 Jakarta ini sangat layak untuk digunakan.

Abstract

Dengan menggunakan Google Sites dan pengetahuan tradisional Bekasi, penelitian ini akan menciptakan sumber daya daring untuk membantu siswa kelas delapan dan siswa SMP meningkatkan kemampuan menulis puisi mereka. Ada tiga fase dalam setiap proses penelitian dan pengembangan yang baik, dan penelitian ini mengikuti model Alessi dan Trollip. Observasi, wawancara, dan survei digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif digunakan untuk analisis data. Seorang instruktur bahasa Indonesia, seorang spesialis media, dan seorang ahli materi pelajaran semuanya memeriksa kelayakan produk. Keluaran akhir adalah sumber daya pendidikan digital yang dapat diakses melalui ponsel, tablet, dan PC. Ahli mata pelajaran: 81,4, ahli media: 84,73, dan guru: 92,83; semua penilaian dianggap cukup hingga sangat praktis dalam evaluasi. Siswa dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis puisi mereka melalui penggunaan media ini, yang dianggap valid dan sesuai untuk tujuan tersebut.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the needs of teaching materials for writing exposition based on Toulmin's argumentation pattern. Through observations, interviews, and document studies, it was found that students' argumentation skills still tend to be low. The existing teaching materials are considered inadequate in providing clear and systematic guidance to build strong arguments. The results of the analysis show that students predominantly use basic argumentation patterns and have difficulty in developing complex argumentation. This can also be seen from the learning outcomes of students who are at an average score of 61.37 in the poor category. This illustrates that most learners still need significant improvement in writing expositions. Then, the standard deviation of 12.854 shows the diversity of learners' abilities in writing expositions. This is in line with the results of interviews with teachers that students' abilities in writing expositions vary; most are still in the basic stage, but there are also students who show good potential, although they still need further guidance. Therefore, the development of teaching materials that integrate Toulmin's argumentation pattern is considered very relevant to improve students' exposition writing skills.

Abstract

This article discusses the application of teaching materials to a BIPA (Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers) teaching, especially in reading skills through a culturally charged audiovisual learning medium. The purpose of this study was to explain teaching materials delivered in culturally charged audiovisual media at the basic level of BIPA teaching with short story writing skills. Audiovisual media pages also accommodate the needs of online BIPA learning. This audiovisual media can be in the form of dialogue videos and explanation videos, as well as supporting media in the form of materials or handbooks. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The reference source used here is in the form of the BIPA AI guidebook "Sahabatku Indonesia" published by the Language Agency of the Ministry of Education and Culture. The technique for checking the validity of the data in this study used a method triangulation technique by checking the understanding of lecturers and students on the use of audiovisual media containing Indonesian culture in short story writing skills. The conclusion of this study is that BIPA teaching materials, especially writing skills, use audiovisual media with Indonesian culture in short story writing skills at the basic level. This teaching material is quite helpful in providing a breakthrough and can make it easier for BIPA students to understand the material presented as well as being able to introduce cultures in Indonesia. Thus, it is hoped that with this media it can be used as a source of inspiration in further, more complete research. and innovative.

Abstract

This study will develop a syllabus model for the Indonesian Semantics course in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program. This research is part of research on the syllabus model for the Indonesian Semantics course in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program. Preliminary research, analyzing the syllabus of Sematic courses from several universities that teach the same study. The description of the study material for the Semantics course is based on a descriptive analysis with a content analysis study of the various contents of the study material in the Indonesian semantic syllabus in several Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Programs. The results of this content analysis describe the study material for the scope of the Semantics course in the syllabus, namely the general concept of meaning (38%) and the definition of meaning (37%); types of lexical meaning (62%), the concept of relation meaning synonyms, antonyms, hyponyms (40%); the concept of the meaning component (14%); the concept of the meaning field (67%); the concept of changing meaning (50%), implicit semantic and syntactic compatibility (50%), semantic and pragmatic compatibility are not explicitly studied (100%); based on Semantic study materials as linguistic vocabulary that are less espouse towards diction mastery and vocabulary teaching are predicted to show less espouse for the formation of discourse competence (30%). Discourse competence is the pedagogic goal of semantic concept study materials as linguistic vocabulary. Abstrak Penelitian ini akan mengembangkan model silabus mata kuliah Semantik Bahasa Indonesia di Prodi Pendididkan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia. Penelitian ini sebagai bagian rangkaian penelitian model silabus mata kuliah Semantik Bahasa Indonesia di Prodi Pendididkan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia. Penelitian awal, menganalisis silabus mata kuliah Semantik dari beberapa perguruan tinggi yang mengajarkan kajian yang sama. Deskripsi bahan kajian mata kuliah Semantik didasarkan pada analisis deskriptif dengan kajian content analysis terhadap berbagai isi bahan kajian dalam silabus semantik bahasa Indonesia yang ada di beberapa Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia. Fokus dan objek penelitian berkenaan dengan aspek kebahasaaan kosakata berdasarkan kajian semantik. Hasil analisis isi ini mendeskripsikan bahan kajian ruang lingkup mata kuliah Semantik dalam silabus adalah konsep umum makna (38%) dan definisi makna (37%); jenis makna leksikal (62%), konsep relasi makna sinonim, antonim, hiponim (40%); konsep komponen makna (14%); konsep medan makna (67%); konsep perubahan makna (50%), kesesuaian semantik dan sintaksis secara implisit (50%), kesesuaian semantik dan pragmatik tidak dijadikan bahan kajian secara eksplisit (100%); berdasarkan bahan kajian semantic sebagai kebahasaan kosakata yang kurang mendukung ke arah penguasaan diksi dan pengajaran kosakata diprediksi menunjukkan kurang mendukung pembentukan kemahirwacanaan (30%). Kemahirwacanaan adalah tujuan pedagogik dari bahan kajian konsep semantik sebagai kebahasaan kosakata.

Abstract

This research aims to develop teaching materials for procedure text through Nearpod media. The research was prepared using the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Data collection was carried out through needs analysis interviews to teachers and distributing questionnaires to students through g-forms, curriculum analysis, teaching material analysis, material expert validation and media expert validation. In addition, the feasibility test was conducted to Indonesian language teachers and students of grade XI high school. Data analysis was carried out with qualitative and quantitative descriptive data analysis. The results of this study are in the form of teaching materials for procedural texts that can be accessed through Nearpod media. The feasibility of the product of teaching material for procedure text through Nearpod media for grade XI high school is included in the very good category. The results of the material expert assessment obtained an average score of 3.82. Furthermore, the media expert assessment obtained an average score of 4.5. The Indonesian language teacher assessment obtained an average score of 4.42. The student assessment obtained an average score of 4.28. Based on the results of this assessment, the teaching material for procedural text through Nearpod media for grade XI high school students is declared suitable for use in the learning process.

Abstract

Internet has considerable potential as a medium of marketing and commerce, particularly in the field of advertising. Unfortunately, advertising through internet, especially social media in Indonesia has not been optimized. Therefore, UMKM activists need training on the role of digital advertising through social media. The aim of this social responsibility is to provide training on digital advertisement through social media. The output of this activity is to introduce and utilize social media as a medium to develop, expand, and optimize digital advertising that will contribute to increasing UMKM trade.
