Abstract

Improving the quality of human life of a country is needed in an era of civilisation that continues to experience changes from all aspects, especially technology and information. The ability that students have is inseparable from the learning process carried out at school by involving teachers, students, learning resources and learning facilities. This study aims to find the effectiveness of cooperative learning models in Economics subjects on student engagement. The experimental method with a quasi-experimental approach was used to find out the results of the study. sampling technique using Cluster Random Sampling. In this study, the population was 78 class X students and the research subjects used 52 students for the control class and the experimental class. Hypothesis testing using independent sample t-test. The results showed that the cooperative learning model in economic subjects was effective and significantly affected student engagement in class X students of SMA NU Hasyim Asy'ari Tegal with a t-table value of 3.964 with a sig value. 0,003<0,05.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) Untuk mengetahui minat belajar siswa sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran kontekstual project citizen pada mata pelajaran PKn Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Rejoso, 2) Untuk mengetahui minat belajar siswa sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran kontekstual project citizen pada mata pelajaran PKn Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Rejoso, 3) Untuk mengetahui seberapa besarnya pengaruh model pembelajaran kontekstual project citizen terhadap minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PKn Kelas VIII SMP 1 Negeri Rejoso. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif jenis eksperimen yang berbentuk one group pre-test post-tes design. Tempat yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah SMP Negeri 1 Rejoso Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022. Populasi penelitian yaitu kelas VIII sebanyak 288 siswa, sedangkan sampel yang digunakan peneliti yaitu kelas VIII-B sejumlah 32 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data statistik t-test. Minat belajar siswa sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran kontekstual project citizen mempunyai nilai rata-rata 69,84. Minat belajar siswa sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran kontekstual project citizen mempunyai nilai rata-rata 86,79. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diketahui taraf signifikasi 5% untuk Db = 32 nilai ttabel = 1,696 dan thitung = 5,16, maka thitung > ttabel yang bearti H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Sehingga “Ada pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran kontekstual project citizen terhadap minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PKn Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Rejoso”.

Abstract

Vocational education often faces challenges due to low student interest in subjects like economics. This study investigates the effectiveness of using PowerPoint presentations to enhance the learning interest of Class X students in SMK Negeri 2 Nganjuk, particularly in understanding economic actions, motivations, and principles. A pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest was employed, involving 34 students selected through random sampling. The study utilized a learning interest questionnaire, and data were analyzed using a paired t-test. The results revealed a significant increase in student interest, with a t-count value of 5.5334 exceeding the t-table value of 1.668. Key indicators such as student happiness, engagement, interest, and attention all showed improvements, with an average increase from 32.76 to 76.62. These findings highlight the effectiveness of PowerPoint-guided teaching methods in fostering greater interest in vocational education. The study suggests the need for ongoing teacher competency development and further exploration of the long-term effects on academic achievement and job readiness.

Abstract

Indole Acetic Acid (IAA) merupakan hormon yang penting untuk memacu pertumbuhan akar tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan memperoleh bakteri dari tanah sekitar perakaran tanaman karet yang mampu menghasilkan hormon IAA. Bakteri yang diisolasi dari tanah di sekitar perakaran tanaman karet kemudian di uji respons hipersensitifitas (HR), kemampuan berbiak serta tumbuh dan kemudian isolate terpilih dikarakterisasi. Hasil isolasi, diperoleh 30 isolate bakteri yang berbeda, yang terdiri dari 9 bakteri patogen dan 21 bakteri non-patogen. Seleksi kemampuan menghasilkan IAA menunjukkan bahwa dari isolate non patogen hanya lima isolate yang mampu menghasilkan IAA. Kemampuan menghasilkan IAA tertinggi dan terendah masing-masing isolate setelah inkubasi 72 jam adalah isolate B12 yakni sebesar 37,379 ppm dan isolate B17 sebesar 14,707 ppm. Bagaimanapun juga pengujian kemampuan isolate terseleksi menghasilkan IAA dalam interaksinya dengan tanaman karet perlu diuji.

Abstract

Roots are organs in rubber plants that play a role in absorbing nutrients, including from inorganic fertilization. The application of mycorrhiza can increase the role of rubber plant roots in nutrient absorption. This research aims to determine the application of mycorrhiza to increase the growth of rubber plants in root trainer nurseries. The research was carried out from April to September 2022 at the Bogor-Getas Research Unit experimental field, Salatiga. The experimental design used a completely randomized design consisting of 8 treatments and eight replications. The treatments in this study were control without fertilization, root fertilizer every 2 weeks, mycorrhiza (5 and 10 g/plant), and a combination of mycorrhiza (5 and 10 g/plant) with root fertilizer (every 2 and 4 weeks). The mycorrhiza treatment (5 and 10 g/plant) with root fertilizer every 2 and 4 weeks showed growth in plant height, stem diameter, root weight, and plant weight, which was not significantly different compared to root fertilizer every 2 weeks. Higher relative agronomic effectiveness compared to root fertilizer every 2 weeks as standard treatment was obtained in mycorrhiza treatments (5 and 10 g/plant) with root fertilizer every 2 weeks (RAE 106% and 135%). These results show that mycorrhiza can increase plant growth and relative agronomic effectiveness without reducing liquid inorganic fertilizer applied through the roots

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas usaha dari IKM Aneka Sambal “YKS” dengan melakukan pendampingan proses re-branding dan re-positioning dengan menggunakan konsep digitalisasi penta helix. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat ini mengadopsi dari pendekatan Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD). Pendekatan ini sesuai dengan tujuan program pengabdian yang mengintegrasikan pihak terkait dalam konsep Penta Helix (Akademisi, Pelaku Bisnis, Masyarakat, Pemerintah dan Media) untuk meningkatkan kapasitas usaha. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan pendampingan proses re-branding dan re-positioning dengan menggunakan digitalisasi model penta helix terbukti bisa meningkatkan kapasaitas usaha dari IKM Aneka Sambal “YKS”. Hal ini bisa dilihat dari meningkatnya keterampilan mitra yang dibuktikan dengan meningkatnya diversifikasi produk, terciptanya kemasan baru yang aman untuk memperkuat branding produk, terciptanya visual produk yang menarik sebagai bahan untuk promosi yang bisa dilihat dari perbandingan kondisi sebelum dan sesudah program pengabdian, selain itu juga bisa dilihat dari peningkatan jumlah omzet dari sebelum dan sesudah program pengabdian.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Learning Analytics (LA) in improving mathematics learning outcomes in higher education. An explanatory sequential mixed-methods design was employed, beginning with quantitative data collection through pre-tests and post-tests, followed by qualitative analysis. Research instruments included a mathematics achievement test, semi-structured interview guidelines, observation sheets, and a student engagement questionnaire. The study involved 120 students and 6 mathematics lecturers. The results showed that the integration of AI (β = 0.624) and LA (β = 0.312) significantly accounted for 72.8% of the variance in students' mathematics achievement. The integrated system is capable of analyzing cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects with a prediction accuracy of up to 94% and identifying 89% of learning issues before examinations. These findings provide an empirical foundation for developing effective, adaptive, and flexible mathematics learning systems in higher education.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship has become a key driver of economic growth and innovation. Universities play an important role in developing students' entrepreneurial competencies, but the factors influencing the success of students' start-up businesses must be better understood. This study aims to investigate the influence of experiential learning and entrepreneurial orientation on college students' start-up business performance and examine the moderating role of social networks. Using a quantitative research design, data were collected from a sample of 150 entrepreneurial students at an Indonesian university through a questionnaire. The data was analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique with SmartPLS. Results showed that experiential learning (β = 0.352, p < 0.001) and entrepreneurial orientation (β = 0.417, p < 0.001) positively and significantly influenced students' start-up business performance. The social network was found to moderate the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and business performance (β = 0.183, p < 0.05). This study concludes that combining experiential learning, entrepreneurial mindset development, and social capital fostering is essential to nurturing successful young entrepreneurs. The findings provide valuable insights for universities in designing effective entrepreneurship education programs.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is 1) to identify the need for the development of an Economic Mathematics Learning System through the MASTER Model for students of the Economic Education Study Program in participating in the learning process, 2) to develop a tool for making Economic Mathematics Learning System Development through the MASTER Model for students of the Economic Education Study Program in following the process learning, and 3) measuring or knowing the validity of the Economic Mathematics Learning System through the MASTER Model for students of the Economic Education Study Program in participating in the lesson. The study results found that the validation of material experts and learning system experts (learning models), it can be seen that results of the validation of material experts are 4,44 or good and the results of validation by media experts are 4.33 or good. The results of interviews with lecturers and students as a whole showed good responses to the use of the MASTER learning model in the learning process.

Abstract

Pada Tahun 2022, pandemi COVID-19 masih ada di berbagai negara, salah satunya Indonesia. Kondisi tersebut membuat aktivitas pembelajaran secara luring tidak dapat dilaksanakan 100%. Dengan demikian, metode pembelajaran yang dapat dipilih guru dalam pembelajaran di masa pandemi COVID-19 adalah pembelajaran jarak jauh (internet learning).  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media google meet pada hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian Pre-Experimental dengan desain One Group Pre-Test Post-Test. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan satu kelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan tiga langkah utama yaitu pretest, pemberian treatment dan posttest. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 2 Nganjuk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media google meet pada hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi, yang dibuktikan dengan hasil t hitung<t tabel dengan taraf signifikansi 5% (21,646 > 2,021) dan Sig.(2-tailed) yaitu sebesar 0,000<0,05. Berdasarkan hasil diatas maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa hasil belajar siswa saat pembelajaran menggunakan Media Google Meet pada mata pelajaran Ekonomi mengalami peningkatan.
