Abstract

The increasingly heavier life demands, especially in the economic sector, have encouraged housewives in Desa Pakisaji, Kabupaten Malang to set up Ron Tuwuh batik tulis business group and  Prohandji Embroidery business group. The batik works are quite good and have begun to be well-known, especially among government agencies in Kabupaten Malang, as well as their embroidery works. There have been several steps taken to develop themselves in terms of design, namely by establishing a partnership with the 2019 Partnership PKM team of Information Technology Department of State Polytechnic of Malang. They have learned to design using applications built and as a result their designs become more up-to-date and the workmanship becomes more efficient. In an effort to sustain this program, this year the same team also continued PKM Partnership by solving other problems faced. From the results of interviews and observations conducted, it was found that each group had problems in the field of financial recording. The income of the batik cloth and the embroidered cloth are still recorded manually so that the financial recording process of both income and expenditure is ineffective and inefficient. From these problems, an Accounting Information System, SAKTIPOL was created which aims to assist both groups in the field of financial management. In addition, after the system was designed, this team then provided training and assistance in the use of this computer and internet-based application.

Abstract

Administrasi kependudukan merupakan rangkaian kegiatan penataan dan penertiban dokumen dan data kependudukan serta pendayagunaan hasilnya untuk pelayanan publik dan pembangunan sektor lain. Desa Ngijo adalah salah satu desa unggulan yang ada di Kabupaten Malang. Kantor Desa Ngijo yang berada di Kabupaten Malang merupakan salah satu instansi pemerintah yang bergerak di bidang pelayanan masyarakat, namun dalam kinerja pelayanan masyarakat Balai Desa ini memiliki kendala dan permasalahan yaitu belum adanya ketersedian sistem informasi yang dapat menangani administrasi kependudukan. Desa Ngijo sebagai salah satu instansi pemerinatahan, memiliki peran yang penting yaitu sebagai pengelola data kependudukan di tingkat desa. Pengelolaan data kependudukan di Desa Ngijo saat ini masih belum memaksimalkan penggunaan teknologi informasi untuk pengelolaannya, sehingga masih terdapat beberapa kekurangan dan kendala yang dihadapi. Seperti masih terdapat kerangkapan data kependudukan, kesulitan dalam pencarian data, serta pembuatan laporan kependudukan. Sehingga pelayanan kepada masyarakat serta kerja dari perangkat desa menjadi kurang efektif dan efisien. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan sebuah sistem informasi terkomputerisasi yang dapat digunakan untuk mengelola data tersebut. Metode yang digunakan untuk perancangan sistem administrasi kependudukan yaitu dengan metode prototyping. Dengan adanya sistem informasi administrasi kependudukan yang berbasiskan website ini, dapat memudahkan pengelolaan data kependudukan. Hal ini terwujud dalam persepsi dari 98% peserta pelatihan yang menyatakan bahwa sistem ini akan menjadi komponen layanan yang sangat bermanfaat bagi warga desa.

Abstract

The stock market often attracts investors to invest, but it is not uncommon for investors to experience losses when buying and selling shares. This causes investors to hesitate to determine when to sell or buy shares in the stock market. The accurate stock price prediction will help investors to decide when to buy or sell their shares. In this study, we propose a new approach to predicting stocks using machine learning with a combination of features from stock price features, technical indicators, and Google trends data. Three well-known machine learning algorithms such as Support Vector Regression (SVR), Multilayer Perceptron (MLP), and Multiple Linear regression are used to predict future stock prices. The test results show that the SVR outperformed the MLP and Multiple Linear Regression to predict stock prices for Indonesian stocks with an average MAPE is 0.50%. The SVR can predict the stock price close to the actual price.

Abstract

Panti Asuhan Yatim Abdul Kadir Kurnia merupakan salah satu lembaga panti asuhan yang terletak di Kota Malang. Panti asuhan ini memiliki program kegiatan usaha untuk memberikan bekal keterampilan pada anak asuh serta menambah sumber pendanaan lembaga. Namun, kegiatan usaha yang dilakukan oleh Pondok Anak Yatim Abdul Kadir Kurnia ini kurang maksimal dalam segi penjualan. Faktor kurang maksimalnya penjualan ini dikarenakan produk-produk karya panti tidak terpasarkan dengan baik. Perlu pemahaman tentang pengelolaan pemasaran secara online secara digital marketing seperti sosial media atau web e-commerce, sehingga produk yang telah dibuat dikenal masyarakat luas. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang diusulkan ini berinisiatif untuk menerapkan dan memanfaatkan website e-commerce  dan sosial media guna mengenalkan produk-produk karya kegiatan usaha dari panti asuhan Abdul Kadir Kurnia  ke khalayak publik.

Abstract

Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) merupakan lembaga usaha desa yang menjadi pilar dalam upaya memperkuat perekonomian desa dan dibentuk berdasarkan kebutuhan dan potensi desa. BUMDes berperan dalam menggerakkan roda perekonomian di pedesaan. Dalam perjalanannya, BUMDes memiliki permasalahan pada pengelolaan administratif dan manajemen keuangan yang masih menggunakan pencatatan secara manual, tak terkecuali BUMDes Pakisaji Kabupaten Malang. Keterbatasan pencatatan keuangan yang masih dilakukan manual menyebabkan beberapa permasalahan yang timbul antara lain sering terjadi ketidaksesuaian data yang ada dalam nota kwitansi dengan buku catatan keuangan. Keuangan merupakan salah satu aset yang esensial yang membutuhkan proses pengelolaan data yang baik. Belum adanya sistem informasi tentang pengelolaan transaksi keuangan menyebabkan pihak desa kesulitan dalam pengolahan data transaksi yang ada pada BUMDes maupun pada unit usaha di bawah naungan BUMDes. Penelitian ini bertujuan membangun sistem informasi akuntansi sederhana untuk mengelola transaksi keuangan dan penganggaran di BUMDes Pakisaji Kabupaten Malang, sehingga pencatatan keuangan tersistem dengan baik dan mampu meminimalisir resiko tidak terkontrolnya data keuangan. Sistem yang dikembangkan menggunakan basisdata MySQL dan framework PHP/Laravel yang kaya fitur modern dan memudahkan dalam merancang suatu aplikasi website.

Abstract

Yayasan Bumi Langgat Peduli, based in Dusun Langgat, Malang, is a community initiative since 2017, focusing on social development. With funding sources from donors and the "Bongkar-Rapikan-Sedekahkan" program, the foundation has conducted various inclusive programs. However, manual communication via WhatsApp limits the reach of information. Through the Community Engagement project, we from Politeknik Negeri Malang design, implement, and deploy an official website that not only expands the information reach but also effectively showcases the foundation's programs and activities. This endeavor encapsulates a comprehensive solution to enhance Yayasan's outreach and impact.

Abstract

Power transformers are critical to electrical power systems but are prone to failures due to factors such as heat, electricity, chemical reactions, mechanical stress, and adverse environmental conditions. Moni-toring the insulating oil effectively is key to preventing these failures. A major challenge in this process is determining the optimal weights for the oil quality index, which lacks a standardized benchmark and often relies on subjective expert assessments. To reduce expert bias and subjectivity, this research utilizes a genetic algorithm to optimize the weightings for five essential parameters: color, water content, break-down voltage (BDV), interfacial tension (IFT), and acidity. The algorithm operates through three stages: crossover, mutation, and selection, and analyzes data from 504 oil tests across various transformers. The mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) is used as the fitness value to assess the algorithm's effective-ness. The optimization process determined the best conditions as 132 iterations, a population size of 180, a crossover rate of 0.2, and a mutation rate of 0.8. These parameters achieved an average MAPE of 1.799% over ten trials, indicating high accuracy. This research not only optimizes the weighting of the oil quality index but also significantly reduces the need for expert input and subjective judgments in trans-former maintenance. The findings are expected to improve the efficiency and reliability of power trans-formers, thereby minimizing failures and associated economic costs.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini mencakup pelatihan dan praktek langsung tentang pemanfaatan kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence) untuk staf di Kelurahan Tasikmadu, Kota Malang. Pelatihan ini merupakan lanjutan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat di tahun sebelumnya tentang peningkatan informasi layanan pada masyarakat melalui media Canva. Pelatihan dan praktek langsung ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan performa staf Kelurahan Tasikmadu kota Malang dalam memberikan pelayanan pada masyarakat. Artificial Intelligence (AI) memiliki beberapa kelebihan, salah satunya efisiensi pekerjaan yang dilakukan semisal menyusun draft proposal, mengedit dan merubah foto menjadi video, atau membuat video singkat yang atraktif untuk sarana sosialisasi kegiatan dan acara di lingkungan kelurahan Tasikmadu. Pelatihan dilaksanakan selama 2 minggu, dengan agenda pembekalan materi di minggu pertama dan praktek menggunakan AI di minggu kedua. Kegiatan ini juga sejalan dengan misi peningkatan sumber daya manusia di lingkungan kelurahan Tasikmadu untuk mengintegrasikan teknologi yang mendukung dan memudahkan pekerjaan administrasi staf. Sehingga pelatihan pemanfaatan kecerdasan buatan (AI) ini bisa meningkatkan pengetahuan staf kelurahan Tasikmadu untuk meningkatkan performa kerja mereka.

Abstract

In this study, the Researchers provide the design, development, and evaluation of a web-based SQL exam system that utilizes the Model-View-Controller (MVC) architectural pattern to enhance automated grading functionality and ease of maintenance. The main objectives of the system are to simplify the process of administering SQL exams, to make it user-friendly for students to enter their SQL statements, and as a means for teachers to automate the grading process. This allows a clear separation between three separate modules: Model to manage data, View to present the application to users, and Controller to manage the application logic. This separation allows for modular development, easier maintenance, and code reuse. The fundamental aspect of the system lies in its automated grading mechanism, which intelligently compares the SQL queries submitted by students with the corresponding validated answer keys stored in the database. Extensive black-box testing was conducted to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the system with various test cases to assess its ability to assess responses and provide real-time feedback to students, in addition to smooth and intuitive navigation within the system. All testing criteria yielded successful results with 100% agreement proving the robustness of the system with all possible locations that could potentially be used in higher education structures. The system provides a scalable and flexible approach to address the challenges associated with SQL assessment in academic institutions, thereby facilitating uniform, efficient, and objective evaluation standards. The system uses data up to October 2023 to prevent the model from becoming obsolete
