Abstract

This research aimed to describe fluency thinking skill in electrolyte nonelectrolyte subject matter by using guided inquiry learning model for high, intermediate and low groups of student.  The subject were students of class X1 SMA Negeri 2 Metro.  This research used the pre-experimental method, a one-shot case study design, and data analysis using statistic descriptive.  The results showed that fluency thinking skill in high level group 57,14% were excellent, 28,57% were good, and 14,29% were enough.  In the intermediate level group, 17,65% were excellent, 70,59% were good, and 11,76% students were enough.  In the low level group, 14,29% were excellent, 28,57% were good, and 57,14% students were enough. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan berpikir lancar pada materi larutan elektrolit nonelektrolit menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing untuk siswa kelompok tinggi, sedang, dan rendah.  Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X1 SMA Negeri 2 Metro.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-eksperimen, desain one shot case study, dan analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan siswa dalam berpikir lancar pada kelompok tinggi 57,14 % siswa berkriteria sangat baik, 28,57% siswa berkriteria baik dan 14,29% berkriteria cukup.  Pada kelompok sedang 17,65% siswa berkriteria sangat baik, 70,59% siswa berkriteria baik, 11,76% siswa lainnya berkriteria cukup.  Pada kelompok rendah 14,29% siswa berkriteria sangat baik, 28,57% siswa berkriteria baik, dan 57,14% siswa lainnya berkriteria cukup. Kata kunci: inkuiri terbimbing, keterampilan berpikir lancar, larutan elektrolit nonelektrolit.

Abstract

This research aimed to describe the  skills of students in answering questions and draw conclusions on the electrolyte and nonelectrolyte matery through the application of Problem Based Learning for students cognitive groups of high, intermediate and low level group.  The subjects were students of class X1 SMA Negeri 1 Sidomulyo Academic Year 2012/2013. This research used the pre-experimental method  with a one-shot case study design.  It was a descriptive research. The results showed that the skills of answering questions in high level group: half were excellent, and the other half good. Intermediate level group almost entirely were less.  Low level group almost half were enough, half were less.  The skills of draw conclusions in high level group entirely were very good. Intermediate level group, almost entirely were excellent, and just small part were good and enough. Low level group almost entirely were very good and just small part of the remaining were enough.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan men­jawab pertanyaan dan menarik kesimpulan pada materi larutan elektrolit dan nonelektrolit melalui penerapan model Problem Based Learning untuk siswa kelompok kognitif tinggi,sedang dan rendah.  Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X1 SMA Negeri 1 Sidomulyo Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one-shot case study.  Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif .  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan menjawab pertanyaan pada kelompok tinggi separuhnya berkriteria sangat baik, dan baik.  Kelompok sedang, hampir seluruhnya berkriteria kurang.  Kelompok rendah hampir separuhnya berkriteria cukup, separuhnya berkriteria kurang.  Keterampilan menarik kesimpulan pada kelompok tinggi seluruhnya berkriteria sangat baik.  Kelompok sedang, hampir seluruhnya berkriteria sangat baik,dan sebagian kecil berkriteria baik dan cukup.  Kelompok rendah hampir seluruhnya berkriteria sangat baik dan sebagian kecil sisanya berkriteria cukup.Kata kunci: problem based learning, kelompok kognitif , keterampilan menjawab pertanyaan menarik kesimpulan.

Abstract

This research is to describe the abilities to find similarities and diffe­rences and to indentify the conclusion of colloid subject using problem solving to high, middle, and low group of students.  The subject were student of XI IPA5 class in SMAN 1 Natar, academic year 2012/2013 that.  This research used pre-experimental method, and one-shot case study design.  The result shows that ability to find the similarities and differences are, in high group 40% were excellent and 60% is good. In middle group, 20% were excellent, 55% were good and 25% were enough. And in low group, 40% were good, 40% were enough and 20% were poor. The ability to identify the conclusion, in high group, 40% were a excellent criteria and 60% were a good criteria.  In middle group 15% were excellent, 50% were good and 35% were enough.  And in low group, 30% were good, 50% were enough and 20% were poor.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan mencari persamaan dan perbedaan serta mengidentifikasi kesimpulan pada materi koloid menggunakan model pembelajaran problem solving untuk siswa kelompok tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA5 Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013 SMA N 1 Natar.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-experimental dan one-shot case study design.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan. Pada kelompok tinggi 40% berkriteria sangat baik dan 60% baik; kelompok sedang 20% berkriteria sangat baik, 55% baik dan 25% cukup; sedangkan untuk kelompok rendah 40% berkriteria baik, 40% cukup dan 20% kurang. Keterampilan mengidentifikasi kesimpulan untuk kelompok tinggi 40% berkriteria sangat baik dan 60% baik; kelompok sedang 15% berkriteria sangat baik, 50% baik dan 35% cukup, sedangkan untuk kelompok rendah 30% berkriteria baik, 50% cukup dan 20% kurang.Kata kunci : kemampuan mencari persamaan dan perbedaan, kemampuan mengidentifikasi kesimpulan, problem solving.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop worksheet and describe the characteristics of the worksheet, worksheet validity, as well as to describe the teachers and students responses to the product. The characteristics of this worksheet are provided by images and videos based on chemical representation and five stage of science procces skill. This research used Borg and Gall design of research and development (R D) with only focused on the first five stage. Research data were analyzed using descriptive statistics analysis. The expert validation results show that the percentage of content suitability aspects to the curriculum is 95.4% with very high criteria, while construction and readability aspects were 76.19%, 79.86% with high criteria. The percentage of teacher responses on the content suitability, readability, and attractiveness aspects were 100%, 87.44%, and 94.44% with very high criteria, and the percentage of students' responses on aspects of readability and attractiveness were 76.47 % and 79.92% with high criteria. Based on the results, the product generated by this research is valid and worthy to be used as a learning media in school.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan LKS dan mendeskripsikan karakteristik LKS, validitas LKS, tanggapan guru dan siswa terhadap produk. Karakteristik LKS berupa gambar dan video berbasis representasi kimia dan dilengkapi oleh 5 tahap dari keterampilan proses sains. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (RD) menurut Borg dan Gall dengan fokus pada lima tahap pertama. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil validasi ahli menunjukkan bahwa persentase aspek kesesuaian isi terhadap kurikulum sebesar 95,4% dengan kriteria sangat tinggi, sedangkan aspek konstruksi dan keterbacaan berturut-turut sebesar 76,19%, 79,86% dengan kriteria tinggi. Persentase tanggapan guru pada aspek kesesuaian isi, keterbacaan, dan kemenarikan berturut-turut sebesar 100%, 87,44% , dan 94,44% dengan kriteria sangat tinggi, serta persentase tanggapan siswa pada aspek keterbacaan dan kemenarikan berturut-turut sebesar 76,47% dan 79,92% dengan kriteria tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, produk yang dihasilkan dinyatakan valid dan layak digunakan sebagai media belajar di sekolah.Kata kunci: Interaksi antar partikel, LKS, representasi kimia

Abstract

The aim of this research were to find out and to describe enhancement of  giving reason skill and exciting conclusion skill and mastery of concept by problem based learning on reduction oxidation reaction material. The population of this research was all student of the first grade of SMAN 1 Rumbia in academic year 2011-2012 where class X4 and class X5 were the sample of the research. this research used a quasi  experiments method with non equivalent control group design and parametric test with t' test. The effectiveness of problem based learning model was measured based on the increasing of significant n-Gain. The result of the research showed that n-Gain average of giving reason skill for eksperimen class and control class was 0,46 and 0,31; n-Gain average of exciting conclusion skill for eksperimen class and control class was 0,51 and 0,17; and n-Gain average of mastery of concept  for eksperimen class and control class was 0,41 and -0,51.Based on hypotesis testing, it is known that student in experiment class where was applied by problem based learning model had higher giving reason skill, exciting conclusion skill and mastery of concept than the class that applied conventional learning.  It is proved that problem based learning model was effective in increasing giving reason skill, exciting conclusion skill and mastery of concept on reduction oxidation reaction material.Keyword:  problem based learning, giving reason skill, exciting conclusion skill, mastery of concept.

Abstract

This research aimed to develop textbook on addictives and addictive-psychotropic material that have religious content and enviromental awareness; to describe the characteristics; to describe the teacher and student responses,and to describe the problems in developing the textbook.  This research method was research and development from Sugiyono (2008).  Based on teacher responses of  the developed textbook in the content’s suitability aspect was very high (84,44%), and the attractiveness aspect was very high (85%).  Based on student responses of  the developed textbook in the readable aspect was very high (87,85%).  Based on result, it can be concluded that textbook has very high quality which were attractive, appropriate with material, and readable. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku ajar zat aditif dan adiktif-psikotropika bermuatan nilai ketuhanan dan kecintaan terhadap lingkungan, mendeskripsikan karakteristik, mendeskripsikantanggapan guru dan siswa, serta mendeskripsikan kendala-kendala yang dihadapi dalam mengembangkan buku ajar.  Metode penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan dari Sugiyono (2008).  Berdasarkan tanggapan guru terhadap buku ajar yang dikembangkan memiliki aspek kesesuaian isi sangat tinggi yaitu 84,44%, dan aspek kemenarikan sangat tinggi yaitu 85%.  Berdasarkan tanggapan siswa terhadap buku ajar yang dikembangkan memiliki aspek keterbacaan sangat tinggi yaitu 87,85%.  Berdasarkan tanggapan tersebut dapat disimpulkan buku ajar yang dikembangkan memiliki kualitas sangat tinggi yaitu menarik, sesuai dengan materi, dan terbaca dengan jelas. Kata kunci: buku ajar, nilai ketuhanan dan cinta lingkungan, zat aditif dan adiktif-psikotropika.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is whether there is any difference between the value of student’s  mastery of the concept of NHT cooperative learning with TPS cooperative learning and determine the average value of student’s concept which is higher between NHT cooperative learning with TPS cooperative learning in the chemical bonds matery. The samples in this research were the student’s of SMA Tri Sukses Natar class X 3 and X5 in academic year 2012/2013. The design of this study is using the Matching -Only Group Posttest -Only Design. The results showed that; there is a difference in the student’s mastery of the chemical bond mastery between the matery given by the NHT cooperative learning with TPS cooperative learning and the average value of student concept mastery of chemical bonds in the matery using TPS cooperative learning TPS higher than with NHT cooperative learning.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah ada tidaknya perbedaan nilai penguasaan konsep siswa antara pembelajaran kooperatif NHT dengan pembelajaran kooperatif TPS dan menentukan nilai rata-rata penguasaan konsep siswa yang lebih tinggi antara pembelajaran kooperatif NHT dengan kooperatif  TPS pada materi ikatan kimia. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA Tri Sukses Natar kelas X3 dan X5 tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan The Matching-Only Posttest-Only Group Design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada perbedaan penguasaan konsep siswa pada materi ikatan kimia antara yang diberi pembelajaran kooperatif NHT dengan pembelajaran kooperatif TPS; dan nilai rata-ratapenguasaan konsep siswa pada materi ikatan kimia dengan menggunakan pembelajaran kooperatif  TPS lebih tinggi dari pada pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT. Abstract

This research is using for describing classification and inference skills of acid-base material through problem solving model application for student cognitive group in high, medium, and low categories .The subject is 49 students of XI science 4 at 2012/2013 school years in MAN 1 Bandar Lampung. The method for this research is pre-experiment with one shot case study design and descriptive analysis for data analysis. This research will show: (1) classification skill. All student in high category have excellent skill, almost all student have excellent skill and few of them have good skill in medium and low category. (2) inference skill. For high category, almost all of student have excellent skill and few of them have good skill. for medium category, few student have intermediate skill and for low category few student have excellent skill, a half more have good and intermediate skill and for other few student have poor skill. Abstract

Abstract

This research was aimed to describe the effectiveness of problem solving on acid-base to improve HOTS based on academic ability.  The method of this research was quasi experimental with the 2x2 factorial design.  The population of this research were all students of XI science at SMAN in Bandarlampung.  The samples were XI science 3 as experiment class and XI science 2 as control class. The t test and two ways ANOVA were used as data analysis.  The result showed that was no interaction between learning by problem solving model with academic ability to higher order thinking skills, problem solving model effective on improving higher order thinking skills, and higher other thinking skills by problem solving model to student who has a higher academic ability with n-gain high category more than medium and low students academic ability.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas model problem solving materi asam basa dalam meningkatkan HOTS  ditinjau dari kemampuan akademik.  Metode penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain faktorial 2x2.  Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN di Bandarlampung.  Sampel penelitian adalah kelas XI IPA 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol.  Analisis data menggunakan uji-t dan ANOVA dua jalur.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat interaksi antara model problem solving dengan kemampuan akademik terhadap keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa, model problem solving efektif meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa dan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa dalam mengguna­kan model problem solving pada siswa berkemampuan aka­de­mik tinggi dengan kategori n-gain tinggi lebih banyak daripada siswa berke­mam­­puan akademik sedang dan rendah. Kata Kunci: kemampuan akademik,  HOTS, asam-basa, model problem solving.
