Abstract

This research was aimed to describe flexibility thinking skill on the acid base matery by using guided inquiry model learning for high, intermediate and low groups of student.  The subjects were students of class XI IPA SMA Swadhipa Natar who have 32 students.  This research used the pre-experimental method, a one-shot case study design,  and statistic descriptive research.  The results showed that the skill of flexibility thinking on the acid base matery in high level group 57,14% were excellent, 28,57% were good, and 14,3% were enough.  In the intermediate level group, 31,25% were excellent and 68,75% were good.  In the low level group, 33,33% were good and 66,67% were enough. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk men­deskripsikan kemampuan berpikir luwes siswa pada materi asam basa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing untuk siswa kelompok tinggi, sedang dan rendah.  Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Swadhipa Natar yang berjumlah 32 siswa.  Penelitian ini mengunakan metode pre-eksperimen, desain penelitian one shot case study, dan  analisis statistik deskriptif.  Hasil penelitian menun­juk­kan bahwa kemampuan berpikir luwes pada materi asam basa menggunakan model inkuiri terbimbing pada kelompok tinggi 57,14% berkriteria sangat baik, 28,57% berkriteria baik, dan 14,3% lain-nya berkri­teria cukup.  Pada ke­lom­pok sedang, 31,25% berkriteria sangat baik dan 68,75% berkri­teria baik.  Pada kelompok rendah, 33,33% berkri­teria baik dan 66,67% lainnya berkri­teria cukup. Kata kunci : Asam basa, inkuiri terbimbing, kemampuan berpikir luwes, kemampuan kognitif.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the effectiveness and characteristics of guided inquiry learning model in salt hydrolysis lesson to improve the skills of constructing arguments and giving reasons. Populations in this research is all students of State senior high school 1 Gadingrejo even semester of Academic Year 2011-2012 with XI Science 3 class and XI Science 4 class as sample. This research uses a quasi-experimental methods Non Equivalent Control Group Design. The effectiveness of guided inquiry learning model is measured by an increase in significant N-gain. Results showed N-gain average of construct argument skills for the experimental class and control class respectively 0.61 and 0.35; and N-gain average of give reason skills for the experimental class and control class respectively 0.56 and 0,29. Testing the hypothesis in this research using two average difference test with the t-test statistical formula. The results of hypothesis testing showed the skill of construct arguments and give reasons students on salt hydrolysis lesson that is applied guided inquiry learning model is higher than those applied to conventional learning. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it was concluded that guided inquiry learning model is effective in improving the skills of construct arguments and give reasons on salt hydrolysis lesson. Abstract

The purpose of this research are to develop and produce module solubility and constant solubility product based on the multiple representation, to describe the characteristic of the module, the responses of teacher and students, obstacles encountered and supporting factors in the development of module solubility and constant solubility product based on the multiple representation. In this study, the research uses the method of research and development (RD). Based on the result of questionnaire about the module on aspects of content suitability to curriculum, and graphics by teacher as respondent obtained result percentage respectively 90% and 93% with a very high criteria.  Result of responses questionnaire about readability aspects with students as respondent obtained result 85,32% with a very high criteria.  Based on the result, it can be concluded that the developed module has very high quality which were attractive, appropriate with material, and readable.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menghasilkan modul kelarutan dan hasil kali kelarutan berbasis multipel representasi, mendeskripsikan karakteristik modul, tanggapan guru dan siswa, kendala-kendala dan faktor-faktor pendukung dalam pengembangan modul kelarutan dan hasil kali kelarutan berbasis multipel representasi ini.  Metode penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan (RD).  Berdasarkan hasil angket tanggapan terhadap modul pada aspek kesesuaian isi, dan grafika dengan guru sebagai responden diperoleh persentase masing-masing 90% dan 93% dengan kriteria sangat tinggi.  Hasil angket tanggapan terhadap aspek keterbacaan modul dengan siswa sebagai responden diperoleh hasil 85,23% dengan kriteria sangat tinggi.  Berdasarkan tanggapan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul yang dikembangkan memiliki kualitas yang sangat tinggi yaitu menarik, sesuai materi, dan terbaca dengan jelas. Kata kunci:kelarutan dan hasil kali kelarutan, modul, multipel representasi.

Abstract

Students who have different levels of cognitive ability then were given the same learning matery, those the critical thinking skills will be appropriate with the level of their cognitive ability. This research aimed to describe the ability of giving reason and interpreting a statement on the acid-base matery through the application of LC3E in each group.  The subject in this research was students of Grade XI Sains 4 Senior High School 12 Bandar Lampung Academic Year 2012/2013. This research was a descriptive research, used the pre-experimental method  with a one-shot case study design. Data analysis used descriptive analysis. Based on the result of data analysis summarized that ability of giving reason in high level group: almost all were excellent and the others were good. In  intermediate level group, almost all were good and the others were excellent.  In low level group, almost all were good and the others were good enough. The ability of  interpreting a statement in high level group: half were excellent, almost half were good, and the others were good enough. In intermediate level group, just small part were excellent, almost half were good and the others were good enough. Abstract

This research aimed to describe the abilities of foccusing the question and analyzing the argument using guided inquiry models. The subjects were determined by consideration of the subject teacher based on diversity in cognitive abilities. The subjects were students of class XI IPA3 SMA Negeri 1 Natar Academic Year 2012/2013. This research used the pre-experimental method with one-shot case study design. The results showed that the ability in formulating some criteria to consider the possible answer, high level group, 62,5% were excellent, and 37,5% were good; intermediate level group, 21% were excellent, 54% were good, and 25% were enough; low level group, 40% were good and 60% enough.  The ability identificating the conclusion, high level group;  37,5% were excellent, and 62,5% were good; intermediate level group, 8% were excellent, 71% were good, and 21% were enough; low level group, 30% were good, and 70% were enough. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan memfokuskan pertanyaan dan menganalisis argumen pada materi koloidmenggunakan model pembelajaraninkuiri terbimbing. Subyek penelitian ditentukan dengan pertimbangan guru mata pelajaran berdasarkan keberagaman kemampuan kognitif. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA3 SMAN1 Natar tahun ajaran 2012/2013. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-eksperimen dengan desain one-shot case study.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan merumuskan kriteria untuk mempertimbangkan jawaban yang mungkin, untuk kelompok tinggi,62,5% berkriteria sangat baik dan 37,5% baik; kelompok sedang, 21% berkriteria sangat baik, 54% baik, dan 25% cukup; kelompok rendah, 40% berkriteria baik dan 60% cukup. Kemampuan mengidentifikasi kesimpulan, untuk kelompok tinggi,37,5% berkriteria sangat baikdan 62,5% baik;kelompok sedang,8% berkriteria sangat baik,71% baik, dan 21% cukup;kelompok rendah,30% berkriteria baik dan 70% cukup. Kata kunci: inkuiri terbimbing, koloid, mengidentifikasi kesimpulan, merumuskan kriteria.

Abstract

This research was to describe the effectiveness of the Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) learning model on the oxidation reduction reactions concept to enhance communicating and inferring skills.  The effectiveness of the POE learning model in this research indicated with the significant difference between the experimental class with the control class.  The population in this research are all students of the class X Senior High School Paramarta 1 in Seputih Banyak academic year 2011-2012,  totall of  all students are 150  and to spread into three classes they are X1, X2, and X3.  The sample in this research are X1 and X2 class.  This research used method the quasi-experimental and non equivalent control group design.  analysis data in this research of the hypothesis testing by using two different average test.  The results of  the hypothesis testing that the average value of n-gain communicating and inferring skills on the oxidation-reduction reactions concept of students applied learning POE higher than students who applied to conventional learning.  Thus, it can be concluded that the POE model learning on the oxidation-reduction reactions concept effective in increasing communicating skills and inferring skills in the  Senior High School Paramarta1 2011/2012.Keywords: Predict-Observe-Explain (POE),communicating skill and inferring skill

Abstract

This research aimed to describe the skills of draw conclusions on the solubility and Ksp matter by using guided inkuiry models learning for high, intermediate and low groups of student. The subjects were students of class XI IPA3 SMA YP Unila Bandar Lampung. This research used the pre-experimental method, a one-shot case study design, and descriptive research. The results showed that The skill of draw conclusions in high level group 30% were excellent, and 70% were good. In the intermediate level group, 42,1% were excellent, 47,37% were good, and 10,53% were enough. In the low level group, 9,09% were excellent, 36,36% were good and 45,45% were enough, and 9,1% were less.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan mengemukakan kesimpulan berdasarkan fakta pada materi kelarutan dan hasil kali kelarutan menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing untuk siswa kelompok tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Abstract

This research aimed to describe the effectiveness of problem solving learning model to improve the fluency skills in acid-base subject matter.  The population of this research were students of class XI IPA SMA Al-Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung even semester of academic 2013-2014.  Sample was taken by purposive sampling technique and obtained XI IPA 4 class and XI IPA 5 class assamples.  The method used in this research was quasi experimental with non eqiuvalent pretest-posttest control group design.  Effectiveness of this learning model was showed by the significant difference of n-Gain between experiment class and control class.  The results of research showed that the average n-Gain of fluency skills of control class and experiment class were 0,32 and 0,64 respectively.  The result of t-test showed that problem solving learning model was effective to improve the fluency skills in acid-base subject matter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas model pembelajaran problem solving dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir lancar pada materi asam-basa.  Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Al-Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung semester genap tahun pelajaran 2013-2014.  Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling dan diperoleh kelas XI IPA 4 dan XI IPA 5 sebagai sampel.  Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan non eqiuvalent pretest-posttest control group design.  Efektivitas model pembelajaran ini ditunjukkan dengan perbedaan n-Gain yang signifikan antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata n-Gain  keterampilan berpikir lancar kelas kontrol dan eksperimen masing-masing 0,32 dan 0,64.  Hasil uji t menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran problem solving efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir lancar siswa pada materi asam-basa. Kata kunci: asam-basa, keterampilan berpikir lancar, model pembelajaran problem solving

Abstract

This study aims to for the predict of characteristic model study of effective Problem Solving in improve skill to communicate and predict. This study use method of kuasi experiment with Non Equivalent ( posttest and pretest) Control Group Design. Intake of sampel done by using technique of purposive sampling. Sampel in this study is student of SMA Persada Bandar Lampung class of X2 and class of X3even semester of School Year 2012-2013 owning characteristic much the same to. Data analysis use N-Gain and of uji-t. Result of study show average value of  N-Gain skill communicate for class control and each experiment 0.46 and 0.61; and average of N-Gain skill of predict for class control and each experiment 0.44 and 0.67. This matter indicate that study of Problem Solving effective in improving skill to communicate and predict.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendekripsikan karakteristik model pembelajaran Problem Solving yang efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berkomunikasi dan memprediksi.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan Non Equivalent (pretest and posttest) Control Group Design. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA Persada Bandar Lampung kelas X2 dan kelas X3 semester genap Tahun Ajaran 2012-2013 yang memiliki karakteristik hampir sama. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran Problem Solving efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berkomunikasi dan memprediksi.Kata kunci: keterampilan berkomunikasi, keterampilan memprediksi, model pembelajaran Problem Solving.

Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas LKS berbasis discovery learning materi larutan penyangga untuk meningkatkan KPS ditinjau dari sikap ilmiah. Sampel diambil dengan teknik pusposive sampling. Analisis data menggunakan ANOVA dua jalur dan uji t. Hasil penelitian pada materi larutan penyangga menunjukkan: tidak terdapat interaksi antara pembelajaran menggunakan LKS dengan sikap ilmiah terhadap KPS; pembelajaran menggunakan LKS berbasis discovery learning efektif dalam meningkatkan KPS siswa; KPS siswa yang memiliki sikap ilmiah tinggi dengan mengguna­kan LKS berbasis discovery learning lebih tinggi daripada LKS konvensional; KPS siswa yang memiliki sikap ilmiah rendah dengan mengguna­kan LKS berbasis discovery learning lebih tinggi daripada LKS konvensional; KPS siswa yang memiliki sikap ilmiah tinggi lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang memiliki sikap ilmiah rendah dengan menggunakan LKS berbasis discovery learning.  Kata kunci : larutan penyangga, KPS, LKS, discovery learning, sikap ilmiah
