Abstract

Abstract: The existence of ulama and dayah in political dynamics in Aceh has occurred for a long time, simultaneously with the development of Islam in Aceh. Ulama in Aceh has been playing as the main actors behind the successful political indicator in many phases, namely; empire phase, independence phase, new order (orde baru) phase until the phase of reformation. The doctrines played by ulama through religious languages have received great support from people in Aceh. This study employs the qualitative research approach with three main techniques of data collection, namely interview, observation and documentation. The result showed that there has been the participation from ulama and santri dayah in Aceh during 2019 General Election (GE). Such participation was reflected from the full support from ulama by calling up the political machine from santri dayah during 2019 GE, and deciding a political attitude by taking side on one of the candidates by holding a fundamental belief that Islam does not forbid ulama to participate in the political practice. Keywords: ulama, santri, dayah, politics, general election, Aceh

Abstract

The rise of sexual harassment perpetrated by religious figures in Islamic educational institutions has raised doubts about the role and objectives of these institutions in Aceh. This research aims to determine how sexual harassment is influenced by religious culture and the impact of such cases on the image of Islamic educational institutions. It is qualitative-descriptive in nature. Data were collected using observation, interviews, and documentation instruments. Meanwhile, data analysis was carried out using descriptive analysis. The results show that cult-like practices contribute to sexual harassment in Islamic educational institutions as part of the religious culture within these institutions. The strength of these cult practices, as part of the religious culture, is intertwined with the role of patriarchal culture and paternalistic leadership deeply rooted in society. This harassment occurs through the abuse of religious dogma, such as the method of transferring metaphysical knowledge. With the continued increase in cases of sexual harassment within Islamic educational institutions, parents have grown doubtful about the educational process in institutions run by religious figures, leading them to prefer general educational institutions instead. This finding is helpful for understanding the causes and methods of preventing the recurrence of sexual harassment in Islamic educational institutions. Maraknya pelecehan seksual yang dilakukan oleh tokoh agama di lembaga pendidikan Islam telah menimbulkan keraguan tentang peran dan tujuan lembaga-lembaga tersebut di Aceh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan bagaimana pelecehan seksual dipengaruhi oleh budaya agama dan dampak kasus-kasus tersebut terhadap citra lembaga pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif-deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan instrumen observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sementara itu, analisis data dilakukan menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktik-praktik seperti sekte berkontribusi terhadap pelecehan seksual di lembaga pendidikan Islam sebagai bagian dari budaya agama dalam lembaga-lembaga tersebut. Kekuatan praktik-praktik sekte ini, sebagai bagian dari budaya agama, terkait erat dengan peran budaya patriarki dan kepemimpinan paternalistik yang sangat tertanam dalam masyarakat. Pelecehan ini terjadi melalui penyalahgunaan dogma agama, seperti metode transfer pengetahuan metafisik. Dengan terus meningkatnya kasus pelecehan seksual di lembaga pendidikan Islam, orang tua semakin meragukan proses pendidikan di lembaga-lembaga yang dijalankan oleh tokoh agama, sehingga mereka cenderung memilih lembaga pendidikan umum. Temuan ini berguna untuk memahami penyebab dan metode pencegahan berulangnya pelecehan seksual di lembaga pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

Di Indonesia, UMKM merupakan salah satu sektor penting untuk menopang ekonomi suatu Negara, dan upaya mendukung UMKM tersebut agar tumbuh dengan baik, Pemerintah telah mengeluarkan pula berbagai kebijakan dan regulasi menjamin kepastian hukum untuk pelaku UMKN di Indonesia. Namun, seiring waktu terjadi pula pembaharuan hukum UMKM dalam bentuk penyesuaian terhadap Undang-Undang dan Peraturan Pemerintah sebagai bentuk dukungan kepada pelaku UMKN di Indonesia. Tujuan dari penulisan ini yaitu untuk mengetahui perlindungan hukum bagi Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM),. Adapun dalam penulisan artikel ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu library research berupa berbagai dokumen perundang-Undangan, buku, jurnal ilmiah dan berbagai data kebijakan hukum lainnya. Sedangkan analisis data dilakukan menggunakan analisis isi dengan metode penelitian hukum normatif dan pendekatan perundang-undangan, dengan tahap analisis meliputi; reduksi, pengorganisasi, penyajian, verifikasi dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh hasil bahwa sangat diperlukan ada sebuah regulasi yang mendukung kemajuan dalam sektor UMKM, Perlindungan Hukum Nasional terhadap UMKM diatur secara khusus dengan Undang-Undang Nomor 20 Tahun 2008 Tentang Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah, Undang-Undang Nomor 11 Tahun 2020 tentang Cipta Kerja, dan Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 7 Tahun 2021 tentang Kemudahan, Pelindungan, dan Pemberdayaan Koperasi dan Usaha Kecil, Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah, hanya saja dari berbagai regulasi tersebut dalam Perlindungan hukum yang ada belum dapat memberikan perlindungan yang maksimal dan untuk mewujudkan perlindungan hukum yang ideal diperlukan sebuah hukum yang kondusif untuk pembangunan ekonomi yang memenuhi 5 syarat yaitu stable, predictable, fair, educative, dan transparent.

Abstract

The existence of outdoor learning that began to be carried out by nature schools became an exciting learning method. This outdoor learning activity raises interest in students' enthusiasm for learning because students get new experiences and discover new things. This study used a qualitative method and was conducted at the Aceh Islamic Nature School (AINS) by examining students' understanding of English using outdoor learning. Data collection techniques were carried out by observing and interviewing English teachers at the school. As a finding, learning English with outdoor learning methods has various ways, such as inviting students to know directly in English. For each material, a song is sung together so they can remember the lesson and the material studied. Outdoor learning at AINS also has adequate supporting factors, such as the provision of vocabulary stickers on the walls of spaces/objects. The teacher gets used to speaking in English to improve students' listening so that they are used to it and can respond. Based on these results, From the data based on observations, interviews, and document analysis above, outdoor learning by inviting students to see material objects directly from nature is considered effective. What teachers apply with this method to students is successfully meeting all kinds of targets for each material, especially in increasing English language skills, which can be seen from their mastery of vocabulary. Apart from that, outdoor learning is also considered to prevent students from getting bored quickly and being enthusiastic about following all the material the teacher provides.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the presence of students who have high Tiktok addicted aplication behavior. The purpose of this research is to: 1. Description of students' Tiktok addicted aplication behavior before Behavioral counseling with modeling techniques, 2. Description of participants' Tiktok addicted aplication behavior after Behavioral counseling with modeling techniques, 3. The Effectiveness of Behavioral Counseling Models by Using Modeling Techniques to Reducing the addiction of TikTok application. Type of this research is experimental research method. Population of this research is 5 with sample 3 people. Sampling of this research is using purposive sampling technique. The results of this research revealed that: 1. The description of the students 'Tiktok addicted aplication behavior before getting Behavioral counseling with modeling techniques is in the high category 2. The description of students' aggressive behavior after getting Behavioral counseling with modeling techniques is in the low and very lower category 3. The Effectiveness of Behavioral Counseling Models by Using Modeling Techniques to Reducing the addiction of TikTok application. The researcher recommended to BK teachers used Behavioral counseling with other modeling techniques to other students so that the students' aggressive behavior is reduced.

Abstract

Currently, people perceive higher education as an industry that operates within a specific area. Therefore, the concept of a green campus or eco-campus can be linked to the concept of a green neighborhood. The aim of carrying out this assessment is to determine the performance of the Gedong Meneng Campus of the University of Lampung based on the Greenship Neighborhood Rating Tool criteria from the Green Building Council Indonesia (GBCI). The research data was obtained primarily based on observations, along with secondary data in the form of formal documents such as the campus master plan and several other documents. Based on the assessment result, despite the fact that the campus has implemented principles of the sustainable green neighborhood concept, it has not been able to obtain even the lowest rank of Greenship Neighborhood. With a score of 38 out of a total of 117 points, or 34.48%, it is only a small difference to achieve a bronze rank. The assessment results led to the formulation of a set of cost-free management solutions aimed at transforming the campus area into a green campus neighborhood. By improving community welfare, movement, and connectivity, as well as land ecology criteria, it is expected that the score would increase by 22 points, resulting in a Silver Rank that can be achieved.

Abstract

This article discusses students' information literacy at the MTsN 4 Banda Aceh library using Empowering 8 model. This model uses a problem-solving approach to resource-based learning. Information literacy skills include identifying, and exploring appropriate sources and information on a topic, selecting and recording relevant information, collecting appropriate quotations, organizing, creating, presenting, assessing, and implementing. The purpose of this study is to determine students' information literacy in the library of MTsN 4 Banda Aceh by using the Empowering 8 model. Data collection techniques used are interview, documentation and questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that student's level of information literacy is classified as good. Both include identification, organizational selection, creating literacy, presentation, assessment and aspects of the application of information literacy. However, the most dominant level of student information literacy in the library of MTsN 4 Banda Aceh is in the organizational and assessment aspects, with 62.28% of students saying “yes” and 37.71% saying “no". While the lowest level of information literacy was in the information selection aspect, 26.27% of students said "yes," and 73.73% said "no”. Improving student information literacy competence can be encouraged by establishing centralized policies that must be implemented to form innovations carried out by each school.

Abstract

This study is a quantitative study to analyze the quality of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) Learning questions at State Vocational High School (SMKN) 1 Meulaboh, Aceh Barat Regency using Anates software. The object of the study was SMKN Class XI (eleven) students in the Even Semester of the 2023/2024 Academic Year. The data collection technique used was the documentation technique, namely to obtain exam question data, answer keys and answer sheets for all exam participants. Then for the item analysis process, it was carried out using the Anates Software Application Version 4.0.9, where the program would analyze the questions in terms of validity, reliability, level of difficulty, discriminating power and effectiveness of distractors which would then conclude the quality of the questions. The results of the research that has been carried out show that there are five question items categorized as very easy. Of the five question items, only one question item has the easiest level of difficulty, namely 0.92, has a discriminating power of 0.20 and two distractors do not function. And one item has the most difficult level of difficulty, which is 0.05 and the discriminating power of the question is 0.00. The five questions are recommended to be improved and only one item cannot be used because it has a very low level of discriminating power. Thus, it can be concluded that the quality of the questions presented is good, although there are 5 items that need to be improved in quality.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of Religious Moderation (Moderasi Beragama/MB) in State Islamic Higher Education Institutions (PTKIN) in Aceh, Indonesia, within the framework of national policy and local religious dynamics. Using empirical data and institutional analysis, the research identifies key structural and cultural factors affecting the success of this agenda. While the concept of moderation is compatible with Acehnese Islamic traditions, institutionalization remains limited due to its exclusion from strategic planning, inadequate funding, and varied reception among academic communities. UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh stands out for its more structured and sustained approach, supported by strong leadership and resource commitment. In contrast, other PTKINs show fragmented, ad hoc efforts shaped by institutional and financial constraints. The study finds that localized strategies—rooted in contextual theology, cultural practices, and credible religious authority—are more effective in embedding moderation values within academic settings. These findings underscore that successful implementation of religious moderation in higher education depends on integrating policy with institutional will and cultural engagement, allowing national agendas to resonate meaningfully within diverse local contexts.

Abstract

Religion should be a guideline for life and a filter against deviations in society. However, currently there is a growing understanding that leads to excessive and extreme religious practices, which are contrary to the essence of religious teachings themselves. To overcome this, the Ministry of Religion issued a policy on Strengthening Religious Moderation in PTKIN, which aims to be a space for sowing, educating, mentoring, and strengthening the religious moderation movement in the campus environment. This study uses a Mixed Methods approach with a survey to compile the components of the Religious Moderation Literacy Index (ILMB) based on a study by the Ministry of Religion. The research sample consisted of 100 PTKIN students in Aceh selected purposively with a 10% margin of error. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires, then analyzed inductively based on the theory of religious moderation literacy and Islamic values. The results showed that the religious moderation literacy index of PTKIN students in Aceh was 50.48, which is relatively low. The basic understanding value of 57.67 and advanced understanding of 37.97 indicate that understanding of religious moderation needs to be improved. The students' knowledge of religious moderation that is not yet optimal shows the need for synergy between stakeholders and the use of social media. Strengthening religious moderation literacy in Aceh requires a comprehensive approach, including the integration of Islamic values in education and the use of digital media.
