Abstract

This training aims to analyze the influence of the short story process at SMAN 14 Maros on the skills of analyzing every good value that can be learned as well as growing language skills. Reading short stories is an activity that gives students imaginative experiences in opening up analytical thinking skill, helps them understand the dynamics of conflict between characters, and fosters social sensitivity and personality. Apart from that, short stories also function to foster students' social sensitivity through the moral messages contained in the stories, and can enrich their personalities

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi kecerdasan buatan (AI) telah membawa dampak signifikan terhadap transformasi pendidikan di seluruh dunia. Pendidikan yang sebelumnya bersifat konvensional, kini mulai beralih ke sistem pembelajaran yang lebih adaptif, personal, dan berbasis data. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji perubahan paradigma pendidikan akibat hadirnya AI, khususnya dalam konteks sistem pembelajaran, peran pendidik, dan pengembangan kurikulum. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dari berbagai jurnal ilmiah, laporan riset, serta praktik terbaik global yang berkaitan dengan penerapan AI dalam pendidikan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa AI mampu meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas pembelajaran melalui sistem pembelajaran cerdas, asisten virtual, dan analisis data pembelajaran siswa. Namun, tantangan etika, keamanan data, dan kesenjangan digital masih menjadi isu yang perlu diatasi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya kolaborasi antara teknologi dan kebijakan pendidikan untuk menciptakan sistem pendidikan yang inklusif, adaptif, dan berkelanjutan di era digital.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the role of social media in enhancing learning interactions among students at Universitas Madako Tolitoli. In the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the development of information and communication technology has transformed the educational paradigm, where social media serves not only as a means of entertainment but also as an effective tool to support the learning process. Through qualitative research methods involving in-depth interviews and focus group discussions, this study identifies patterns of social media usage among students, as well as the challenges and opportunities faced in the academic context. The results show that platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram have enhanced collaboration and communication between students and lecturers, as well as among the students themselves. Social media facilitates rapid information exchange and creates a more interactive learning environment. However, challenges such as distractions and the spread of inaccurate information have also been identified, which can affect learning effectiveness. Therefore, it is essential for educational institutions to formulate clear social media usage policies, provide media literacy training, and integrate social media into the curriculum. This research is anticipated to aid in the creation of more innovative learning strategies that align with the needs of today's digital generation, while also motivating Universitas Madako Tolitoli to utilize social media as a strategic educational tool. With an appropriate approach, social media has the potential to foster more productive academic interactions and establish an adaptive and collaborative learning culture within higher education settings. Abstract

The problem in this study is the low learning outcomes of students of SD Negeri 6 Tambun in Indonesian subjects, especially in the reading aspect, the less interesting learning model is the main trigger for this. In tackling this, the author conducted a study by applying a multimedia video animaker-based discovery learning model in learning activities. The purpose of this study was to analyze whether there was an effect of the application of the multimedia video Animaker-based Discovery Learning learning model on the Indonesian language learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 6 Tambun. This study is a quantitative study with a Pre-Experimental design (Pretest-Postest Interaction Group Comparison). The instruments in this study were observation and learning outcome tests with a sample of 22 students, which used a purposive sampling technique in sampling. The data analysis technique used the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks test. The results showed that the probability value was 0.003 which means <0.05, so it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The positive implications of the results of implementing this model with integrated media, teachers can consider integrating technology and multimedia in their teaching strategies to increase student engagement and understanding. Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of the To Kulawi traditional institution and assess the implementation of customary sanctions (Givu) in preserving the function of protected forests in Sigi Regency. It is expected to contribute to strengthening the To Kulawi traditional institution. The research employs an empirical legal approach, focusing on the practical application of law (law in action) within society. The findings indicate that the existence and role of the To Kulawi traditional institution are essential for preserving the function of protected forests and implementing customary sanctions (Givu) in Sigi Regency. The application of these customary sanctions within the To Kulawi indigenous community has been effective and is widely accepted as a governing norm for forest preservation in the region. Therefore, it is recommended to enhance the recognition and protection of the To Kulawi traditional institution through policies enacted by regional and village governments, such as regional or village regulations.

Abstract

Motor and coal crushers are critical in coal size reduction for efficient energy production. Continuous operation often impacts their functionality, necessitating effective maintenance methods. This study employs vibration analysis to monitor the health and detect potential faults in the motor and coal crusher. Vibration values, measured under load and no-load conditions, were analyzed in vertical, horizontal, and axial directions using ISO 10816 standards. Results show that while vibration levels remained within safe limits, increased readings in specific areas, particularly at the Crusher NDE in axial direction under load conditions, suggest potential issues like misalignment or bearing wear. Prominent vibration peaks at lower frequencies in the spectrum further support these findings. This research underscores the importance of routine vibration monitoring to preemptively address machine faults, ensuring optimized operation and minimized downtime. Vibration analysis proves effective for predictive maintenance and operational reliability in coal processing systems.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze curriculum management in improving teacher professional competence in madrasahs. The research method used is a qualitative case study type, where data is obtained through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that effective curriculum management, which is reflected in the active involvement of teachers in constructive planning and supervision, has a substantial impact on improving teacher professional competence. However, this study also shows that there are weaknesses in the sense of creativity in the development of teaching materials and the use of learning media. Teacher competence can be improved through structured and inclusive curriculum management with technology integration in the learning process. This will provide new insights into formulating education policies for other madrasah. This study provides important implications for the development of curriculum management in madrasahs. With structured, inclusive curriculum management and the active involvement of teachers in every stage of planning, teacher professional competence can increase significantly.

Abstract

Motivation is one of the things that influences student learning success. Without motivation, the learning process will be difficult to achieve success. This research aims to determine the effect of using the Trigger feature of Power Point media on the learning motivation of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 3 Tolitoli. This researcher used a type of quantitative research. The method used in this research was the Pre Experiment or experimental research method, the research subjects were students at SMP Negeri 3 Tolitoli class VIII. The instruments in this research are observation, questionnaires and documentation. As for the results of this research, there is a positive and significant influence. Based on the data that has been collected and tests that have been carried out using product moment correlation from the Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) program, the average calculated R value is > R Table based on test results significance 0.5. The correlation coefficient value (calculated r) for each variable shows that the correlation value between the item scores and the total item score for the 6 questions has a correlation value that is greater than the correlation value of the r table at a significance level of 0.05 with degrees of freedom df (N-K)/30-2 =28). So the results can be concluded that there is a difference in the average results of student learning motivation between the learning model using power point media with trigger features and the conventional model.

Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes by implementing a project-based learning model in thematic learning in class V at SDN 10 Tolitoli. Apart from that, this research also aims to analyze how the project-based learning model is implemented and to measure how good student learning outcomes are after participating in learning using this model. This research is classroom action research which is carried out in 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of 3 stages, observation, planning and action. Based on the results obtained, it shows that there is an increase from the first cycle to the second cycle. In cycle 1 there were 7 students with a percentage of 18.42% who achieved kkm (75) while there were 31 students with a percentage of 81.58% with learning results below kkm (75), the second cycle showed that only 11 students 28.98% who did not reach the kkm (75) while 27 students with a percentage of 71.05% had achieved the kkm (75), based on the results of cycles 1 and 2 it was found that in cycle 2 the students had achieved classical completion. The results of this research show that the application of the project based learning model with the help of video and power point media can improve student learning outcomes in class V thematic learning at SDN Tolitoli.
