Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think, Talk, Write (TTW). Model Pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think, Talk, Write (TTW) terdiri dari tiga tahapan yaitu Think (Berpikir), Talk (berbicara), Write (menulis) yang diterapkan pada siswa kelas VIII-D SMPN 1 Mangaran Situbondo. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan dalam 2 siklus yaitu siklus I dan siklus II. Data penelitian yang didapatkan berasal dari observasi, wawancara dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada ranah kognitif dari pra siklus ke siklus I mengalami peningkatan sebesar 7,8 dan dari siklus I ke siklus II mengalami peningkatan sebesar 6. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think, Talk, Write (TTW) dapat digunakan guru untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kolaboratif berbasis lesson study terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment (eksperimen semu). Teknik pengumpulan data meggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan post-test only control group design, pada kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen, subjek dipilih secara random yang sebelumnya dilakukan uji homogenitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran kolaboratif berbasis lesson study berpengaruh secara signifikan dengan probabilitas sebesar (p=0,000) terhadap berpikir krtitis siswa dengan rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis kelas eksperimen sebesar 72,56 (±10,16) sedangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis kelas kontrol sebesar 60,52 (±11,96). Berdasarkan analisis kriteria, kelas eksperimen memiliki kriteria kemampuan berpikir kritis tinggi sedangkan kelas kontrol memiliki kriteria kemampuan berpikir kritis rendah. Kata Kunci: pembelajaran kolaboratif, lesson study, berpikir kritis.

Abstract

The use of game mechanics, game aesthetics, and game thinking can engage a person to be motivated to improve learning and solve problems. Students' motivation to learn when using games increases because in the game students feel happy and the learning that is carried out becomes cooperative. Game-based learning allows students to develop problem-solving skills, cooperate with peers and better communicate knowledge and learning outcomes. Students' understanding using games is considered easier to remember because learning is more fun. The results of this study found that there is a positive relationship between student engagement and the use of games in classroom learning. This positive relationship is seen in the use of games that increase students' emotional state such as excitement and motivation. This in turn improves student learning outcomes, as students become actively engaged in learning.

Abstract

Mahogany leaf litter (Swietenia mahagoni (L.) Jacq.) has high levels of lignin and C/N ratio, sothe decomposition speed is longer and can cause accumulation of litter waste. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of applying different amounts of mahogany (Swietenia mahagoni (L.) Jacq.) leaf litter on the quality of organic fertilizer through vermicomposting. This study used acompletely randomized design (CRD) with the amount of mahogany leaf litter in each treatment was 0 g, 100 g, and200 g. Vermicomposting was carried out for 4 weeks, then the results were compared with SNI 7763:2018 and analyzed using LSD. The results showed that the addition of different amounts of mahogany leaf litter had nosignificant effect on the levels of total-N, P2O5 , C-organic, and C/N ratio but had a significant effect on the levels of K2O, and weight produced through vermicomposting. The p3 treatment with a total of 200 gof mahogany leaf litter was the most significant composition in meeting the chemical and physical quality parameters of vermicompost. This is due to the ideal balance of the C/N ratio in the material, so that vermicomposting runs optimally.

Abstract

Higher order thinking skills are skills that 21st century students should have in order to compete globally. Higher-order thinking skills involve complex thinking processes, including analysing, evaluating and creating. This study aims to analyse students' higher order thinking skills in solving heat and thermodynamics problems. The samples used in this study were grade 12 students in the 2024/2025 academic year, as many as 64 students. Data collection was carried out through the results of high thinking ability tests on heat and thermodynamics material with Bloom's tachnosomy domain levels C4, C5, and C6. The method used is quantitative method with purposive sampling technique. The results of this study, students have the ability to analyse (C4) by 61.34%, the ability to evaluate (C5) by 26%, and the ability to create (C6) by 12.66%. The conclusion of this study is that students are in the good category in the analysing aspect, the less category in the evaluating aspect and the very less category in the creating aspect. This means that students can complete the completion stage but are less able to compile information so that they are unable to produce perfect answers.

Abstract

The kindergarten can utilize its schoolyard as a supportive and ideal learning place in teaching and learning activities, especially regarding the environment. So far, RA Plus Al-Islam has not managed the schoolyard thoughtfully; they have only arranged it to fulfill the game tools. Considering the geographical conditions and the main livelihoods of the community around the school, RA Plus Al-Islam can use the schoolyard as an agricultural-based eco-education facility. The purpose of Service activity is to optimize the RA Plus Al-Islam schoolyard so that it is safe and comfortable to play and, at the same time, can function as an agriculture-based eco-education facility. The method of implementing activities is by lecture, discussion, practice, and mentoring, with the activity's target being RA teachers. The post-test results showed increased teacher knowledge about agriculture-based ecoeducation, with an average score of 90. Using the schoolyard as a means of agriculture-based eco-education increased the interest and enthusiasm of RA students in learning to care for plants.

Abstract

Sampah merupakan sisa kegiatan manusia dan/atau proses alam yang berbentuk padat. Pengelolaan sampah menjadi tantangan global yang semakin mendesak seiring dengan pertumbuhan populasi dan perubahan pola konsumsi masyarakat. Maka diperlukan upaya pengelolaan sampah big77 basah melalui pengomposan berbantuan banana starter (BanTer). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan masyarakat melalui pengomposan berbantuan Banana starter sehingga bisa menjadi alternatif dalam pengolahan sampah basah di TPA Pakusari dan lingkungan masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan berupa pelatihan dalam pembuatan banana starter dan pengomposan dengan bantuan banana starter dengan tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberdayaan masyarakat dapat dilakukan melalui pengomposan berbantuan Banana starter (BanTer) untuk pengelolaan sampah basah di TPA Pakusari Jember. Pelatihan ini sangat bermanfaat karena sebelumnya pengolahan sampah basah hanya sebatas ditimbun dan dibiarkan busuk alami yang memakan waktu cukup lama.

Abstract

The potential of dairy farming in Jember Regency is enormous, but the added value of milk products is still low because farmers sell raw milk without further processing. This study aims to analyze the potential replication of the Teaching Factory (TEFA) model of Jember State Polytechnic to increase the added value of dairy farmers. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach with direct observation to TEFA, literature studies, and secondary data analysis. The results showed that the TEFA model integrates dairy cattle breeding with independent feed production, waste utilization into biogas, and market-oriented milk product diversification. Bestcow Farm Jember data shows farming business has R/C Ratio of 1.09 with profit of Rp. 88,084,392.86 per year, but vulnerable to 15% feed cost increases. TEFA model replication has potential to increase added value through processed milk product diversification (30-70% margin), feed efficiency (20-30%), and waste utilization. Challenges of limited capital, human resources, and technology can be overcome through training, mentoring, and strategic partnerships. The TEFA model shows ideal agroindustrial integration with potential to increase farmer income by 100-180%.

Abstract

Microgreens of sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) are small and nutritious vegetables consumed at the early stages of growth. The growing process dictates the microgreen quality, such as planting media and watering frequency. This study aims to determine the interaction of various planting media with the watering on the microgreen growth parameters. This study conducts an experiment using 9 total treatments replicated 3 times. The research followed a randomized group design (RGD) and utilized analysis of variance (ANOVA) with a significance level of 5%, as well as Duncan's further test at a 5% significance level. The research parameters include plant height, hypocotyl length, epicotyl length, number of leaves, wet weight, consumable weight, and dry weight. The results showed that the interaction of planting media and watering frequency had a significant effect (P<0,01) on the growth parameters of sunflower microgreens. The best treatment combination is M1P3, Rockwool with watering three times a day with a plant height of 7,67 cm, hypocotyl length of 7,09 cm, epicotyl length 0.36 cm, number of leaves 2,53, wet weight 6,67 g, consumable weight 20.67 g and dry weight 1,22 g. Rockwool is sterile and has a structure that absorbs and stores water sufficiently for the growth of microgreens. The results of this study contribute significantly to improving the growth of sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) microgreens through a combination of proper growing media and watering frequency.

Abstract

Rembangan Dairy Farm, which is located at UPT Livestock Breeding and HPT Rembangan WM8R+734, Darungan, Kemuning Lor, Kec. Arjasa, Jember Regency, East Java, is a cow's milk processing industrial area. The purpose of this study is to find out how the agro-industry forms in Rembangan Dairy Farm. The research method applied in this study is qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis uses descriptive analysis according to the facts found in the field. The results of this research are that the milk processing process in industry still uses a simple method, namely the pasturization stage. The dairy products produced consist of two types, namely pure fresh milk without any additions and fresh milk with a variety of flavors. Milk marketing techniques are carried out online via social media Instagram and Whatsapp, and also offline through milk outlets and business partners. Marketing of fresh milk by business partners needs to be further improved in maintaining the durability of milk using refrigerators or freezers, this is because fresh milk is susceptible to temperature so it can easily spoil if not stored in the correct way. There is a need for further education for business partners to be able to maintain product quality by storing it properly so that the products being marketed do not suffer damage when in the hands of consumers.
