Abstract

Raden Soerjo Gran Forest Park is a conservation area or called a conservation forest that used to collect plants and animals. The plants and the animals in there used as a research material by experts and students. This research was conducted in Raden Soerjo Gran Forest Park Sub Mojokerto Region, precisely at along the road to the Watu Ondo Waterfall. One of the species plants that exist in there is Liana. Liana is a species plant that requires other higher plants to get sunlight to growth. Liana is an important and distinctive component of tropical forests. The purpose of this research is to know the diversity of liana species in Raden Soerjo Gran Forest Park. Data retrieval is done by using explored method. The results of this research have been found 24 species of plants belong to 15 families, which is Piperaceae, Rubiaceae, Rosaceae, Moraceae, Smilacaceae, Arecaceae, Vitaceae, Fabaceae, Araceae, Apocynaceae, Menispermaceae, Elaeagnaceae, Urticaceae, Convolvulaceae, and Commelinaceae.

Abstract

The study was aimd to develop a valid, practical, and effective E-Module based on Adobe flash. This research was development research. Data collection techniques used questionnaire analysis, pre-test/post-test, student response questionnaire, and validation from the experts. The design of the research is development E-module based on Adobe Flash media using a 4-D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) that developed by Thiagarajan (1974). The results indicated that the level of validity of developed E-Module based on Adobe Flash was 82.54%, 83.89% , 79.58%, based on experts of subject, media and media development respectively, while developed media validity according to teacher as user was 88,93%, practical was 91,11%, effective was 0,72.

Abstract

Giving mycorrhiza + MHB with goat manure to cocoa seeds to increase cocoa growth. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of mycorrhiza + MHB combination with goat manure on cocoa seed growth (Theobroma cacao L.). This research used Factorial Randomized Complete Random Design (RAL) with two factors ie first factor of mycorrhizal + MHB with three levels of 0 g (m0), 7.5 g (m1), and 12.5 g (m2), the second factor goat manure with three taragos 0 g (k0), 100 g (k1), and 200 g (m2), and combination factors m0k0, m0k1, m0k2, m1k1, m1k2, m2k2, m2k0, m2k1, and m2k2 . The data obtained were analyzed using Anova and Duncan's advanced test. From the results of this study can be concluded that giving mycorrhiza + MHB with goat manure significantly influence the growth of cocoa seedlings (Theobroma cacao L.). Treatment with 7.5 g of mycorrhiza + MHB with 200 g of goat manure showed the best results on the growth of cocoa seeds compared with other treatments

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic that hit Indonesia caused panic in the education sector so that the Education office took representative actions to prevent the spread of Covid-19 by carrying out learning activities from home. Learning from home activities need to be supported by the existence of teaching materials that can be used by students, so researchers provide solutions by making the right teaching materials to use. This study aims to obtain web-based virtual worksheets on valid disaster mitigation materials to improve critical thinking skills and learning outcomes. The research includes research and development (RnD) using Thiagarajan's 4D research model consisting of define, design, development and disseminate stages. The research data were obtained from the results of validation carried out by three validators consisting of two expert validators and one user validator. The first expert validator scored 85.48%, the second expert validator scored 97.58% and the user validator scored 95.16%. The average result of the final validation is 92.74% and the criteria are very valid (> 85.01%) so that web-based virtual worksheets are feasible to use or apply.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the stages of developing an interactive digital textbook based on STEM for the subject of environmental pollution, and to test the effectiveness of the interactive digital textbook based on STEM in enhancing the critical thinking skills of junior high school students in the subject of environmental pollution. This research is a development research that adopts the 4 D model from Thiagarajan's, which consists of four stages, namely define, design, develope, and disseminate (Mutia, 2020). The research subjects were junior high school students who had never received environmental pollution material. Limited-scale trials and single-class trial were conducted at Ma'arif 08 Junior High School in Wuluhan Jember. Dissemination was carried out at Ma'arif Ambulu Islamic Junior High School and Darul Hikam Islamic Junior High School This research used qualitative and quantitative approaches. STEM-based interactive digital textbooks on environmental pollution material are effective in improving critical thinking skills with an average score of 89.03 based on indicators of providing simple explanations, providing further explanations, developing strategies and tactics, and students' ability to draw conclusions.

Abstract

The education system in Indonesia has undergone changes due to several factors such as 21st century education trends and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. These changes have resulted in a shift in student learning behavior towards different learning styles. With the end of the pandemic, students have returned to face-to-face learning, leading to the loss of certain learning behaviors adopted during the pandemic period. This, may result in a decrease in students' thinking ability. The purpose of this study is to develop hypermedia-based e-modules to improve students' creative thinking skills. The method used in this research is the Research and Development (R&D) method. This method follows the ADDIE model which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The development in this research includes hypermedia-based e-modules, learning instruments, creative thinking tests. The validity of the hypermedia-based e-module was assessed using the results of media validation. Effectiveness was measured by analyzing student and teacher responses. Effectiveness was determined through pre-test and post-test methods for creative thinking tests. The validation results showed "very valid" criteria with an average score of 95. Practicality, based on student and teacher responses in each session, obtained an average score of 90 with "very practical" criteria. Effectiveness, measured through a pre-test and the mean scores of the pre-test and post-test scores, showed values of 0.61, 0.55, and 0.56 for the small, large, and dispersed classes, with "medium" criteria. Creative thinking scores ranged from 80-90, indicating "very high" criteria. From these two results, it can be concluded that the hypermedia-based e-module on human digestive system material is valid, practical, and effective to improve the creativity of junior high school students.

Abstract

This research aims to test the validity of story media equipped with pictures to improve students' critical thinking skills and learning outcomes. This research is the research and development of the four-dimensional development model by Thiagarajan et al. (1974). Based on data analysis, the average assessment of the three validators on the material/content feasibility aspect was 95%, linguistics 96%, technical quality and design quality 93%, and development feasibility 91%. The average validation result for story media with images is 94%, which is in the very valid category. The average validation results of research validation instruments and the average validation results of learning tools are in the very valid category. The story media is equipped with images of the human respiratory system to improve critical thinking skills, and the student learning outcomes developed meet very valid criteria so they can be used in learning research to test their effectiveness and practicality.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul pembelajaran berbasis STEM yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Pengembangan modul ini juga memiliki fokus untuk memfasilitasi siswa agar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains dan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini mengadopsi desain penelitian pengembangan (research and development) model four-D yang dikembangkan oleh Thiagarajan (1974) meliputi 4 tahapan, yaitu define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Data diperoleh dari need assessment peserta didik dan guru SMP, angket respon peserta didik, dan hasil pretest-postest. Selain itu, perangkat pembelajaran (Silabus, RPP, Modul, soal) dan angket respon peserta didik divalidasi oleh 3 validator ahli. Kemudian, data angket dianalisis menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif sedangkan hasil pretest-postest dianalisis menggunakan uji-t dan N-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan modul pembelajaran berbasis STEM yang dikembangkan layak digunakan karena telah memperoleh persentase 91,78% dalam kategori valid, 86,76% dalam kategori praktis, dan 0,67 dalam kategori efektif. Selain itu, berdasarkan hasil postest, modul pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains dan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik.

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Peran teknologi sangat penting dalam meningkatkan proses kualitas pendidikan. Hal ini menjadikan guru harus terus adaptif dan berinovatif dalam menyajikan pembelajaran di kelas. Salah satunya dengan menggunakan video animasi menggunakan canva. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini yakni mendeskripsikan terkait analisis repsons siswa terhadap media video animasi menggunakan aplikasi canva pada materi getaran dan gelombang kelas VIII SMP. Metode yang digunakan yakni survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif berupa angket yang diberikan kepada 36 siswa kelas VIII-A SMP Islam Kunir Kabupaten Lumajang. Teknik pengolahan data menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penilaian hasil respons siswa pada media video animasi menggunakan canva mencakup empat indikator yakni, tampilan media, kesesuaian materi dengan capaian dan tujuan pembelajaran, kualitas isi, dan komunikasi audio visual. Secara keseluruhan perolehan respons siswa terhadap media  video animasi mendapatkan rata-rata 89% dengan kriteria sangat menarik. Artinya tampilan media pada video animasi menggunakan aplikasi canva sudah sangat menarik, proporsional dan tidak berlebihan, memuat kejelasan materi pembelajaran dengan capaian dan tujuan pembelajaran, keruntutan dan kesistematisan materi dalam video yang ditulis sangat jelas dan detail, serta komunikasi audio visual yang bagus dalam video, sehingga menjadikan siswa tidak bosan dalam belajar materi getaran dan gelombang.   Kata  kunci­ — Canva, Getaran dan Gelombang, Media, Video Animasi   ABSTRACT   The role of technology is very important in improving the quality of education process. This requires teachers to continue to be adaptive and innovative in presenting learning in class. One of them is by using animated videos using Canva. The aim of this research is to describe the analysis of student responses to animated video media using the Canva application on vibration and wave material for class VIII SMP. The method used was a survey with a quantitative approach in the form of a questionnaire given to 36 students in class VIII-A of Kunir Islamic Middle School, Lumajang Regency. The data processing technique uses quantitative descriptive analysis methods. The research results show that assessing the results of student responses to animated video media using Canva includes four indicators, namely, media appearance, suitability of the material to learning outcomes and objectives, content quality, and audio-visual communication. Overall, student responses to animated video media received an average of 89% with very interesting criteria. This means that the media display in animated videos using the Canva application is very attractive, proportional and not excessive, contains clarity of learning material with learning achievements and objectives, consistency and systematicity of the material in the written video which is very clear and detailed, as well as good audio-visual communication in the video, so that students don't get bored when learning about vibrations and waves.   Keywords: Canva, Vibrations and Waves, Media, Animation Video

Abstract

Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan pada bulan April hingga Mei 2022 di Green House Baratan, Kecamatan Patrang, Kabupaten Jember. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui interaksi dan takaran dosis kombinasi antara limbah kulit buah kopi dan PGPR akar bambu yang efektif terhadap pertumbuhan sawi pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) Faktorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor yaitu dosis limbah kulit buah kopi (p0 : 0 g/tanaman, p1 : 50 g/tanaman, p2 : 100 g/tanaman) dan konsentrasi PGPR akar bambu (r0 : 0 mL/L air, r1 : 6 mL/L air, dan r2 : 12 mL/L air) dengan 3 kali ulangan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat interaksi antara limbah kulit buah kopi sebagai campuran media tanam dan PGPR akar bambu terhadap pertumbuhan sawi pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.) pada parameter berat basah, berat kering, dan berat konsumsi. Kombinasi dosis yang efektif adalah pada perlakuan limbah kulit buah kopi sebagai campuran media tanam 50 g/tanaman dan PGPR akar bambu 6 mL/L air.
