Abstract

This study aims to (1) analyze the effect of  Work-family conflict on job satisfaction; (2) analyze the effect of Work-Family Conflict on work stress ; (3) analyze the effect of work stress on job satisfaction (4) analyze the effect of work-family conflict on job satisfaction mediated by work stress. Type of research is quantitative with causal assosiative. The population in this study was on Female Employees at the District Secretariat on Lombok Island. The number of members of the population is 188 people.   Determination of the sample by purposive sampling method. Sample criteria are employees who are married. The number of samples is 92 people. Data collection techniques or tools use a questionnaire. The analysis tool uses PLS (Partial Least Square) with SmartPLS 3.0 program. The results showed that (1) the Conflict of Family Work had a negative effect not significant on job satisfaction; (2) Work-Family Conflict have a positive significant effect on work stress; (3) Job stress has a negative significant effect on job satisfaction; (4) Work- Family Conflict negatively affects on job satisfaction mediated by work stress.work-family conflict, job stress,  job satisfaction, female employees, Lombok island.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the workload of each work unit and HR category, analyze the needs of the number and competency of HR and analyze the investment costs of procurement and compensation for HR needs in the Highways Division of the PUPR Office of West Lombok Regency. The population in this study were all employees who worked in the Highways Division of the PUPR Office of West Lombok Regency totaling 39 people. Census method as a data collection method used. The data analysis technique used in this study is WISN (Workload Indicators of Staffing Need). The results showed that the workload in each unit of Bina Marga was still not optimal, the Marga field still lacked 10 employees and still needed competency improvement, the results of the analysis also showed the type of procurement that must be carried out by the Highways Division with compensation costs in accordance with applicable guidelinesKeywords:Workload, Human Resource Planning, Human Resource Needs, Workload Indicators of Staffing Need, Business Management

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the workload of each work unit and the category of human resources (HR), analyze the number and HR competencies of each work unit and to analyze the types of human resource development needed by the Highways Department of the Public Works and Spatial Planning ( PUPR) West Nusa Tenggara Province (NTB). The population in this study were all employees who worked on the Highways Sector of the PUPR Provincial Office of NTB Province which numbered 49 people. The population in this study were all employees working in the Highways Division of the Public Works Department of West Nusa Tenggara Province with documentation techniques, questionnaires, in-depth interviews and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) as the data collection methods used. The data analysis technique used in this study is WISN (Workload Indicators of Staffing Need). The results showed that the workload for each unit in the Highways Sector of the PUPR Office of NTB Province was still not optimal, there were a shortage of human resources of 34 people consisting of 24 (twenty four) technical personnel and 10 (ten) non-technical personnel, as well as still need HR development to improve HR competencies. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis beban kerja masing-masing unit kerja dan kategori sumber daya manusia (SDM), menganalisis kebutuhan jumlah dan kompetensi SDM masing-masing unit kerja dan untuk menganalisis jenis pengembangan SDM yang dibutuhkan Bidang Bina Marga Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (PUPR) Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB). Populasi pada penelitian iniadalah seluruh karyawan yang bekerja pada Bidang Bina Marga Dinas PUPR Provinsi NTB yang berjumlah 49 orang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan yang bekerja pada Bidang Bina Marga Dinas PUPR Provinsi NTB dengan teknik dokumentasi, angket, wawancara mendalam (Indepth Interview), dan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) sebagai metode pengumpulan data yang di gunakan.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah WISN (Workload Indicators of Staffing Need). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa beban kerja pada setiap unit pada Bidang Bina Marga Dinas PUPR Provinsi NTB masih belum optimal, terdapat kekurangan SDM sejumlah 34 orang yang terdiri dari 24   orang tenaga teknis dan 10 orang tenaga non teknis, serta masih membutuhkan pengembangan SDM untuk peningkatan kompetensi SDM.Keywords:Workload, Human Resource Needs, Workload Indicators of Staffing Need (WISN), Needs Assesement. Abstract

Despite the important roleof local entrepreneurs for sustainable tourism, the process of starting up small tourism enterprises remains unclear. The current study is aimed at constructing a start-up model of small tourism enteprise, particularly homestay.Qualitative method was adopted. Data was collected using semi-structured interviews, observation, and documentary. Interviews were made with 6 homestay owners in three tourist destinations in West Lombok Regency. Data was recorded and then analysed using content analysis. The study constructs a start-up model consisting of two phases, orientation and starting phases. The orientation phase elaborates the process of entrepreneurial opportunity recognition, business capital preparation, and  starting preparation. The starting phase describestrial and error process regarding product creation, resource allocations, finance management, and marketing strategies. In the starting phase entrepreneurs have todeal with business competition and business uncertainties. The succes in undertaking the starting phase can lead an entrepreneur into a further business development. But,the fail in going through the starting phase can lead into bankruptcy and/or the situation in which the entrepreneurs have to re-start their business again from the beginning. The study results provide reference for community empowerment, bring theoretical and managerial impacts, and create gap for a further research. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian  ini adalah menguji dan menjelaskan pengaruh langsung kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi terhadap knowledge sharing yang secara teori bisa berpengaruh di PDAM se-Pulau Lombok. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan pengumpulan data dengan metode survey dengan metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah partial least square.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi memiliki pengaruh langsung positif dan signifikan terhadap proses knowledge sharing berdasarkan indikator socialization, externalization, combination dan internalization.Keterbatasan penelitian ini terletak pada ruang yang terbatas hanya di lingkungan PDAM Pulau Lombok yang terdiri dari 4 PDAM sehingga diperlukan kajian yang lebih luas untuk memperkuat hasil penelitian. Abstract

As the power of educating, teaching, guiding, directing, training, evaluating, and evaluating student teacher performance will be very supportive. One way to improve teacher performance is to pay attention to factors that can improve teacher performance. Paying attention to the factors that affect the teacher's performance delivered by Gibson, its relation to teacher performance at the Tarbiyatul Islam Foundation Nahdlatul Wathan Wanasaba as an object of research will be seen from three variables; (1) organizational variables related to leadership; (2) psychological variables include personality in the form of work ethic and (3) individual variables include the ability or competence of teachers.Based on the above circumstances, the purpose of this study is to analyze and determine the effect of transformational leadership, work ethics and competency in a pasial (separate) and simultaneously (together) manner on teacher performance at the Tarbiyatul Islam NW Wanasaba East Lombok Foundation. To meet these objectives, multiple linear regression analysis is carried out, namely t test and F test. Before conducting multiple linear regression analysis, first classical assumptions are tested of all variables that are valid and reliability. Finally, interpret the results and conclusions.After multiple linear regression analysis is done, the result that is spatially and simultaneous transformational leadership, work ethic and competence significantly affect the performance of teachers at the Islamic Foundation NW Wanasaba Tarbiyatul East Lombok.Keywords :independent variable, dependent variable, Partial, simultaneous

Abstract

This study aims to explain and examine the direct influence of organizational culture and transformational leadership on knowledge sharing among lecturers at universities in West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. A quantitative approach in which data is collected based on a survey method. The data analysis technique used in this research is Partial Least Square (PLS). The population of this research is the teaching staff who are involved as a research unit where 200 lecturers are used as research respondents, but only 193 questionnaires that meet the requirements to be used as research data. The results showed that there was a positive and significant direct effect on knowledge sharing and a positive and significant direct influence of culture between transformational leadership on knowledge sharing. The results also show that organizational culture has a positive and significant direct effect on knowledge sharing. This shows that the stronger the organizational culture, the better the implementation of perceived knowledge sharing. In addition, the results of the study show that transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on knowledge sharing. That is, the more effective the transformational leadership, the better the implementation of knowledge sharing with lecturers at the university. Key Words: transformational leadership. Abstract

Gencarnya promosi program “Visit Lombok Sumbawa” telah mendorong semakin pesatnya perkembangan pariwisata di Pulau Lombok. Daerah wisata di Lombok Timur yang mulai banyak diminati diantaranya, Pantai Pink yang memiliki pasir berwarna merah muda, gili (pulau kecil) seperti Gili Bleq, Gili Re, Gili Buwun dan 26 gili lainnya dengan pantai yang indah dilengkapi restoran terapung, serta Tanjung Ringgit yang memiliki benda-benda bersejarah peninggalan Jepang (gua dan meriam). Pantai Desa Pijot merupakan pintu gerbang terdekat untuk memasuki daerah-daerah wisata tersebut melalui wilayah perairan. Kondisi terkini di Pantai Pijot dan sekitarnya menunjukkan banyaknya perahu untuk mengantar para wisatawan ke daerah-daerah wisata di atas. Namun masih minimnya atraksi wisata di daerah ini menyebabkan peminat wisatawan untuk singgah di wilayah ini masih rendah. Untuk itu, melalui kegiatan ini akan diusulkan pengembangan atraksi wisata seperti bejaring, bejukung, memadak, ngerakat, tambak udang terpal, serta kegiatan penunjang seperti pembuatan rumah berteduh (berugak), penanaman pohon pelindung dan mangrove di Muara Selayar. Adanya atraksi wisata ini diharapkan menjadi daya tarik wisata Pantai Pijot sehingga semakin menarik wisatawan untuk tidak hanya melewati daerah ini, namun juga singgah untuk menikmati keindahan alam maupun adanya atraksi wisata yang ada di wilayah tersebut. Pengelolaan wisata berbasis STO ini akan mengutamakan partisipasi masyarakat lokal, optimalisasi keuntungan untuk masayarakat setempat dan pengunjung, reduksi pengaruh negatif terhadap masyarakat maupun lingkungan.

Abstract

Career development and employee performance are not just a coincidence, but many factors influence it, namely the work environment, job rotation and demographic characteristics. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of non-physical work environment, job rotation, demographic characteristics on career development and work performance of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan employees throughout the province of West Nusa Tenggara. This research uses associative research method. The sample in this study amounted to 42 people. The instrument used in this research is a questionnaire. The data were analyzed using multiple regression with the help of the SPSS program. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the non-physical work environment, job rotation, and demographic characteristics have a significant effect on career development and work performance of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan employees throughout the province of West Nusa Tenggara.

Abstract

Retensi karyawan dipandang sebagai sebuah strategi bagi organisasi untuk mempertahankan angkatan kerja yang kompetitif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 63 sampel. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu angket. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan Sructural Equation Modeling dengan bantuan program Partial Least Square (PLS). Berdasarkan analisis dan hasil maka dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut: Sistem pola karir berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap retensi karyawan karyawan Indonseia Financial Group (IFG) Wilayah NTB.
