Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemodelan matematika siswa setelah diterapkannya pembelajaran dengan strategi scaffolding with a solution plan. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas X IPS 2 SMAN 2 Palembang yang berjumlah 28 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes tertulis yang terdiri atas empat soal uraian untuk mengukur kemampuan pemodelan matematika siswa. Soal tes disusun dengan mengacu pada indikator kemampuan pemodelan matematika. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa kemampuan pemodelan matematika siswa kelas X IPS 2 SMAN 2 Palembang berada pada kategori baik dengan rincian sebagai berikut: 9 siswa berkategori sangat baik; 11 siswa berkategori baik; 5 siswa berkategori cukup; 2 siswa berkategori kurang; dan 1 siswa berkategori sangat kurang. Kata kunci: kemampuan pemodelan matematika; scaffolding with a solution plan This study aims to describe the ability of students mathematical modeling after the implementation of learning with a scaffolding with a solution plan strategy. Type of the research is quantitative descriptive research with research subjects of class X IPS 2 of SMAN 2 Palembang totaling 28 students. Data collection techniques were carried out with a written test consisting of four description questions to measure students mathematical modeling abilities. Test questions were prepared by referring to indicators of mathematical modeling abilities. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the mathematical modeling ability of class X IPS 2 of SMAN 2 Palembang was in a good category with following details: 9 students are in very good category; 11 students are in good category; 5 students are in enough category; 2 students are in low category; 1 student is in very low category. Abstract

Tujuan pembelajaran matematika adalah untuk melatih siswa berpikir kritis. Oleh karena itu, perlu dikembangkan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) untuk melatih kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan LKS yang berkarakteristik untuk melatih kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas VII SMP. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah kelas VII7 berjumlah 30 siswa semester II SMP Negeri 9 Palembang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian pengembangan yang terdiri dari analisis, desain, evaluasi dan revisi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara prototyping. Prototyping dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana karakteristik LKS untuk melatih kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas VII SMP. Hasil penelitian ini adalah karakteristik LKS untuk melatih kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas VII SMP. Kata kunci: Kemampuan berpikir kritis, Lembar Kerja Siswa Mathematics learning aims to develop students’ critical thinking. Therefore, it is necessary to develop Student Worksheet to train students' critical thinking skills. This research aims to develop student worksheet that has characteristics of critical thinking skill for 7th grade Junior High School students (SMP). The sample in this research is VII7 class with 30 students of the second semester of SMP Negeri 9 Palembang. The research method used is a development research method that consists of analysis, design, evaluation and revision. Data collection is done by prototyping. Prototyping was used to find out how the characteristics of student worksheet to develop critical thinking ability of grade 7th students. The result of this research is characteristic of student worksheet to develop critical thinking ability of 7th grade Junior High School student. Keywords: critical thinking ability, student worksheet

Abstract

Abstract This research is a qualitative descriptive research that aims to investigate the mathematical problem solving after learning with MEAs on linier equation system of three variables. The subject of this research are 5 students of X class of MIA 6 SMA Negeri 10 Palembang. The data of this study was collected by three item of problem solving test on SPLTV and an interview to obtain the data deeply. The result of this study show that the indicator of problem solving that the most often appear is indicator of understanding the probelm,where this indicator appears at each level of ability of students, namely high, medium, and low. While indicator that are very rare to appear are indicator looking back. Where this indicator only appears at the level of the ability of students is high, while for the the level of ability of students who are moderate and low this indicator does not appear. The cause of this indicator rarely arises because most students ignore the command to look back, students feel enough to get the final results without re-analyzing the results that have been obtained. Abstract

This research aims to describe competence level and competence hierarchy on indicators developed by 23 middle schools teacher from South Sumatera Province, using indicator and objectives references to Revised Bloom’s Taxonomy and National Standard of Education. The result suggest that the competence levels are overlapping at the indicators and the developed indicators are limited to minimal competence of learning standards.
