Abstract

This research is motivated by the large number of young women who wear clothes that are not in accordance with Islamic teachings. Therefore it is necessary to have guidance from various parties to shape the manners of dressing young women. One of them is learning in madrasas. The purpose of this study was to find out the implementation of Aqidah Akhlak learning in shaping the dress code of students of class XI MAN Lima Puluh Kota. This study used a qualitative research method with research informants: madrasa heads, Aqidah Akhlak teachers, and class XI students. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are: 1) the teacher's Aqidah Akhlak lesson plan prepares learning tools in the form of annual semester programs, syllabus, lesson plans and assessment tools. In preparing learning tools, the teacher considers the appropriate time allocation, models, methods, sources, and learning media for dress etiquette material. 2) the implementation of Aqidah Akhlak learning in forming dress etiquette, the teacher applies the discovery learning model by using a learning method that is a combination of lecture, question and answer, and demonstration methods and is assisted through learning media in the form of PPT and learning resources Aqidah Akhlak package books. Evaluations carried out by Aqidah Akhlak teachers in forming dress etiquette are observations for attitude assessment, tests in the form of descriptions and objectives for knowledge assessment, as well as portfolio assessment for skills assessment.

Abstract

This research was conducted at SD Negeri 20 Kurao Pagang, Nanggalo, Padang City. This study aims to describe the problems of learning to read and write the Koran for teachers and students. The method used in this research is qualitative. In this study, structured interviews were conducted with research subjects, namely teachers in the field of Islamic religious education, school principals, and fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 20 Kurao Pagang, Nanggalo, Padang City. Collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the problems faced by teachers in learning to read and write the Koran are: 1) Ineffective classroom atmosphere, lack of learning media, and uneven students' ability to recite the Koran; 2) The problems of students in learning to read and write the Koran are lack of ability to recognize hijaiyah letters, not mastering the science of recitation, reading the Koran in Latin script, low student learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of moral values ​​to students through scouting activities at SMKN 1 Sijunjung. This type of research is qualitative research using descriptive method. The research data was obtained from interviews with research informants. The data collection tool is a mobile phone. The technique of checking the validity of the data in this study was carried out by triangulation. The results of the research are to analyze and to reveal the results of research findings related to the application of the moral values ​​of students through scouting activities at SMKN 1 Sijunjung. The results of the application of the moral values ​​of students through scouting activities at SMKN 1 Sijunjung in shaping the character of students experience slight deviations such as the presence of students who are less disciplined in entering school, entering class, or in carrying out prayer services.

Abstract

This study examines the problems of Islamic Religious Education teachers in fostering the morals of class XI students at SMK Negeri 7 Padang. The purpose of this study is to find out how and what the problems of Islamic Religious Education teachers are in fostering morals. Then how the solutions to problems of Islamic Religious Education teachers in fostering morals in class XI SMK Negeri 7 Padang. The method used in this research is the qualitative method. The population of this study was teachers of Islamic Religious Education, class XI students of SMK Negeri 7 Padang with a sample of 6 respondents. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that (1) the problems of Islamic Religious Education teachers in fostering morals are the lack of morals towards Allah SWT, oneself, teachers, friends, and society, (2) the problems of Islamic Religious Education teachers in fostering morals towards the environment are students who lack obedience to school regulations, poor manners, lack of self-awareness of students, and lack of sensitivity to the environment, (3) The solution to the problems of Islamic Religious Education teachers in fostering student morals is to give directions to students, approach students, teach them students, make habituation to students, create a good environment, and establish communication with various parties.

Abstract

PAI teachers have a role in shaping students' religious character, therefore PAI teachers' strategies in shaping students' religious character need to be considered. Because the strategy used will affect the formation of students' religious character. The purpose of this study was to determine the religious character of students at SMAN Binsus Dumai, to find out the strategies used by PAI teachers in shaping students' religious character, and to find out the factors that influence PAI teachers in shaping the religious character of students at SMAN Binsus Dumai. This research uses qualitative methods with a case study approach. The research was conducted at SMAN Binsus Dumai. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documents. The informants in this study were PAI teachers and students. The results of the study, first, the religious character of students in general can be said to be good because it has met the existing religious character indicators, character building strategies are carried out through integration through example, habituation, and advice. Third, Influencing factors are divided into internal and external factors.

Abstract

Research on the CTL is based on many findings that most students have yet to be able to make connections between what they learn and its various uses in real life. This study aimed to develop an Alquran-based CTL model in the subject of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in Higher Education, specifically on the syntax design of the Quran-based CTL model. This study used the RD method with the ADDIE model approach. The results of this study were the syntax of the Quran-based CTL model in PAI learning in Higher Education, which were summarized in the acronym OBAMATARE-Alquran, O: direct/orientate, BA: (baca) read Alquran, MA: (masalah) formulate a problem, TA: (tanya jawab) discussion, ask-answer-group/independent (solving problems)/guiding inquiry and displaying results, RE: reflection and evaluation. The syntax uses verses from Alquran relevant to the learning theme. OBAMATARE-Alquran, the Alquran-based CTL model, follows seven CTL activities. Constructivism, inquiry, question and answer and learning community activities could be seen in learning activities when students discussed in groups and investigated the details of the provided problems in LKM and picture/video shows. Then students found roots and problem solutions by exploring information. Students would exemplify ways to solve problems throughout the modelling step of solving problems. Reflections were done on the opening and closing activities. Meanwhile, evaluation in the form of authentic assessment was carried out during learning and at the end. This research is only limited to Alquran-based CTL syntax, requires further trials. This research can be developed in the form of learning modules, learning media and learning evaluation.

Abstract

PAI teachers have a role in shaping the religious character of students, therefore the strategy of PAI teachers in shaping the religious character of students needs to be considered. Because the strategies used will have an influence on the formation of students' religious character. The purpose of this study was to find out the religious character of students at Binsus Dumai State High School, to find out the strategies used by PAI teachers in shaping students' religious character, and to find out the factors that influence PAI teachers in shaping the religious character of students at Binsus Dumai State High School. This research uses qualitative methods with a case study approach. Researchers conducted research at Binsus Dumai State High School. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documents. The informants in this study were PAI teachers and students. Data analysis was carried out by interactive methods and used a credibility test, namely triangulation. The results showed that the religious character of students has been well formed, which can be seen from the daily life of students in schools where students are getting used to religious activities, applying the 7s culture, and carrying out obligations as a Muslim. PAI teachers use refraction and exemplary strategies in shaping the religious character of students.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the strategies of PAI teachers in teaching moral values, growing awareness of moral values, monitoring students’ behavior, and having preventive and curative efforts against juvenile delinquency in primary schools. Descriptive qualitative method was used in this research. Techniques of data collections were interview, observation, and documentation. The data were analyzed by reducing data, displaying data, and drawing conclusion and verification. The result of this research described that there are two teachers’ strategies in teaching moral values to the primary students, namely lecture and discussion. While, in growing students’ awareness of moral values, teachers gave advices and familiarized the students with school regulations and routine programs. Next, teachers supervised the students directly and provided guidance for deviant behavior. Furthermore, to prevent juvenile delinquency, teachers supervised the students, communicated and collaborated with parents, and made regulations. Last, curative efforts were carried out by giving reward and punishment and facilitating a personal approach to the students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji respon guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti (PAI dna BP) terhadap penggunaan Kecerdasan Buatan (AI) dalam pembelajaran PAI di Kota Padang. Latar belakang penelitian ini berakar pada percepatan integrasi teknologi dalam pendidikan, khususnya penggunaan AI yang telah menjadi topik penting dalam diskursus pendidikan modern. Penelitian ini penting karena memberikan wawasan tentang bagaimana guru PAI dan BP merespon teknologi yang relatif baru ini, yang dapat mempengaruhi efektivitas pengajaran dan pembelajaran di sekolah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif, dengan sampel sebanyak 20 guru PAI dan BP dari berbagai sekolah di Kota Padang. Sampel ini dipilih untuk mencakup beragam usia dan pengalaman mengajar, memberikan gambaran yang komprehensif tentang persepsi guru terhadap AI. Data dikumpulkan melalui survei yang dirancang untuk mengukur sikap, pengetahuan, dan kesiapan guru dalam mengadopsi AI dalam pembelajaran PAI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan variasi dalam respon guru terhadap AI, yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor usia dan pengalaman mengajar. Guru yang lebih muda dan dengan pengalaman mengajar yang lebih singkat cenderung lebih terbuka dan positif terhadap penggunaan AI, sedangkan guru yang lebih tua dan berpengalaman lebih skeptis dan memerlukan waktu lebih lama untuk beradaptasi dengan teknologi baru. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa meskipun ada ketertarikan umum terhadap AI, masih ada kebutuhan signifikan untuk pelatihan dan pengembangan profesional untuk memfasilitasi integrasi AI yang efektif dalam pembelajaran PAI.

Abstract

The surrounding environment provides a lot of knowledge and experience for the development of students but not all teachers can realize this. This study aims to determine and analyze the creativity of teachers in utilizing the surrounding environment in learning Quran memorization for fifth-grade students at Buah Hati Padang Integrated Islamic Elementary School. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data sources were taken from informants through in-depth interviews consisting of principals, teachers, and students selected using a purposive sampling technique. All interview results were then analyzed systematically using the Milles & Hubberman Interactive Analysis Model technique with the Thematic Analysis method. Overall, the results of the research analysis show that there are three findings in the theme of teacher creativity in utilizing the surrounding environment in learning Quran memorization, namely, i) mosque, ii) Padang State University campus, and iii) beach. The results of this study can be used as evaluation material for teachers and as a determinant for choosing the right method for schools to arouse the enthusiasm of students in learning to memorize the Quran.
