Abstract

The surrounding environment provides a lot of knowledge and experience for the development of students but not all teachers can realize this. This study aims to determine and analyze the creativity of teachers in utilizing the surrounding environment in learning Quran memorization for fifth-grade students at Buah Hati Padang Integrated Islamic Elementary School. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data sources were taken from informants through in-depth interviews consisting of principals, teachers, and students selected using a purposive sampling technique. All interview results were then analyzed systematically using the Milles & Hubberman Interactive Analysis Model technique with the Thematic Analysis method. Overall, the results of the research analysis show that there are three findings in the theme of teacher creativity in utilizing the surrounding environment in learning Quran memorization, namely, i) mosque, ii) Padang State University campus, and iii) beach. The results of this study can be used as evaluation material for teachers and as a determinant for choosing the right method for schools to arouse the enthusiasm of students in learning to memorize the Quran.

Abstract

The background of this research is the growing development of the implementation of the Tahfidz Al-Qur'an program in various schools, both formal and non-formal schools with various strategies, methods and techniques carried out to ground the Al-Quran. This study aims (1) to determine the planning of the Tahfidz Al-Qur'an program at SD IT Cahaya Hati Pauh Kambar, (2) to analyze the implementation of the Tahfidz Al-Qur'an program at SD IT Cahaya Hati Pauh Kambar, (3) to find out the evaluation of the Tahfidz Al-Qur'an program at SD IT Cahaya Hati Pauh Kambar. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The objects of this study were students and teachers of Tahfidz Al-Qur'an at the Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SD IT) Cahaya Hati Pauh Kambar Padang Pariaman. The subject of this research is the application and implementation of the Tahfidz Al-Qur'an program with data obtained from observations, interviews with informants, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that first, the planning of the Tahfidz Al-Qur'an program at SD IT Cahaya Hati Pauh Kambar was carried out quite well. The aim of Tahfidz Al-Qur'an is to produce generations of Al-Qur'an lovers. The target of this program is that students have memorized at least 3 chapters (juz 30, 29 and 1). Second, the implementation of the Tahfidz Al-Qur'an program at SD IT Cahaya Hati Pauh Kambar for low grades and high grades has different times, methods, and implementation. For lower grades, the methods usually used are the talaqqi method, the method of connecting verses between students and memorizing muroja'ah. As for the high class, they are more likely to use the talaqqi, taqrir, sima'an taakhi (muroja'ah with friends) methods and learn recitations of the Qur'an. Third, the evaluation of the Tahfidz Al-Qur'an program at SD IT Cahaya Hati Pauh Kambar is carried out in a meeting once a month to measure how far the targets and goals have been achieved by students.

Abstract

Religious moderation is the foundation for schools to respect differences so that tolerance is instilled in the souls of students to respect one another. This study aims to explore the values contained in religious moderation contained in Islamic religious education learning materials. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach that describes and analyzes the inculcation of religious moderation values in students, as well as data collection techniques using purposive sampling. Data was collected through interviews with four informants, observation and documentation, and analyzed using interactive analysis using the Milles & Huberman model. From the results of this study, there are five values of religious moderation, namely: (1) Al-I'tidal (Perpendicularity and being proportional), (2) At-Tasamuh (Tolerant), (3) Asy-Syura (Deliberation), ( 4) Al-Muwathanah (Love of the motherland), and (5) I'tiraf al-'Urf (Cultural Friendly. Related to this, it can be used as a guideline to be developed in education with a broad scope.

Abstract

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is one of the largest Islamic countries lies in Arabian Peninsula. The government bases its legitimacy on its interpretation of Sharia (Islamic law) and the 1992 Basic Law. The Basic Law sets out the system of governance, rights of citizens, and powers and duties of the government. The law also provides that the Qur'an and the Traditions (Sunna) of the Prophet Muhammad serve as the country's constitution.  As an Islamic country which is rich in culture and natural resources, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia plays prominent influence in Islamic world for various aspects in politics, culture, economics, trading and education. The contribution of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia can be clearly seen in education sector, particularly in Al-Quran and Sunnah studies. The country provides a wide opportunity and great facilitation for those who wants to study in Saudi Arabia in their own country. The founding of the Institute of Islamic and Arabic Science (LIPIA) in Indonesia as an important affiliation of Al Imaam University is regarded as real concern of Saudi Arabia in Islamic studies development. Further, pursuant to history of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, ulama plays respected crucial roles in the government. They are not merely respected for the high and exclusive knowledge in religion, but they are also regarded having capability in balancing the stability of the country. Abstract

This research is motivated by the current reality in which there are many negligence among teenagers in carrying out prayer services. Therefore, schools must have the habit of praying in congregation, so that the younger generation instills good habits from an early age. This study focused on the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in increasing the discipline of students in carrying out congregational midday prayers at SMKN 1 Hiliran Gumanti with the following problem formulation: 1) The role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in increasing the discipline of students carrying out congregational prayers at SMKN 1 Hiliran Gumanti 2) Factors supporting and inhibiting factors of Islamic religious education teachers in increasing the discipline of students in carrying out congregational prayers. To achieve this goal using qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. This research was conducted at SMKN 1 Hiliran Gumanti. Data collection techniques used are observation, documentation and interviews. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The role of the Islamic Religious Education teacher is to provide good examples and examples to students, through habit, giving advice and also giving punishment to students who are not disciplined in carrying out midday prayers in congregation (2) Supporting factors for teachers Islamic Religious Education in disciplining congregational midday prayers, namely the existence of good cooperation between Islamic religious education teachers and other teachers, and the existence of school policies. And the inhibiting factors for Islamic Religious Education teachers in disciplining congregational midday prayers are inadequate ablution facilities, inadequate prayer rooms, frequent water problems and lack of awareness of students to carry out congregational midday prayers.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of moral education provided by teachers in the educational unit, especially at Elementary Schools (SD). In shaping a child's moral character, referring to this background issue, the researcher was interested in conducting a more in-depth study on the Efforts of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) Teachers in Cultivating Morality Among Fellow Students at SD Negeri 02 Pasaman. This research aims to uncover the efforts of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in cultivating morality among fellow students, the obstacles faced by PAI teachers, and the efforts made by PAI teachers to overcome obstacles in fostering moral character among fellow students. Therefore, in conducting the research, the researcher chose the Field Research method. Hence, the appropriate method to use is qualitative. The data sources for this research consist of primary data, namely PAI teachers in SDN 02 Pasaman. While secondary data includes the curriculum, school archives, photographic documentation, and observation notes. The results of the research show that the efforts of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in cultivating morality among fellow students at SD Negeri 02 Pasaman are carried out through positive actions in their daily routines, such as setting a good example, spontaneous actions, and habituation in routine activities by PAI teachers at SD Negeri 02 Pasaman. This integration occurs in special programs involving weekly, monthly, and annual activities and is integrated into the learning process.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah : 1) Menjelaskan strategi guru PAI dalam membelajarkan nilai-nilai akhlak pada anak di SD N 12 Koto Gadang. 2) Menjelaskan strategi guru PAI dalam menumbuhkan kesadaran anak terhadap nilai-nilai akhlak di SD N 12 Koto Gadang. 3) Menjelaskan strategi guru PAI dalam melakukan pengawasan terhadap perilaku siswa di SD N 12 Koto Gadang. 4) Menjelaskan upaya preventif dan kuratif guru PAI terhadap kenakalan anak di SD N 12 Koto Gadang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) Strategi guru PAI dalam membelajarkan nilai-nilai akhlak kepada anak di SD N 12 Koto Gadang adalah melalui pembelajaran langsung di kelas dan keteladanan. 2) Strategi guru PAI dalam menumbuhkan kesadaran anak terhadap nilai-nilai akhlak di SD N 12 Koto Gadang adalah pemberian nasihat dan pembiasaan terhadap peraturan-peraturan dan program rutin yang dilakukan di sekolah. 3) Strategi guru PAI dalam melakukan pengawasan terhadap perilaku anak di SD N 12 Koto Gadang dengan melakukan pengawasan secara langsung, artinya guru langsung mengawasi perilaku siswa di sekolah dan nantinya akan dilakukan pembinaan apabila ditemukan adanya perilaku yang menyimpang. 4) Upaya preventif guru PAI terhadap kenakalan anak di SD N 12 Koto Gadang yang dilakukan guru PAI SD N 12 Koto Gadang terhadap perilaku nakal anak adalah (1) melalui pemberian nasehat, (2) berkomunikasi atau menjalin kerja sama dengan orang tua siswa dan (3) Memberikan peraturan-peraturan. Sedangkan upaya kuratifny aialah pemberian hukuman dan pembinaan dengan cara pendekatan personal kepada siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and explore the extent to which the dawn education program at the Al-Qur'an Education Park plays a role in fostering the morals of students. The method used in this study was qualitative research with a case study approach. Data were obtained from three informants who were selected and then interviewed and observed in detail. Then the data collected was analyzed then reduced and presented and in the final stage, conclusions were drawn from the research findings. The findings in the study after being analyzed found that there were several stages of roles in fostering the morals of the students, namely: training the discipline of the students, Amanah, and the students' responsibility in carrying out their duties, and instilling religious values in the students. Furthermore, the research findings found that there were methods used in cultivating the morals of students, namely the exemplary method, the habituation method, and the advice method. Then there are the supporting factors, namely bringing in competent teachers, obeying the rules, guarding the teachers, and parental support. And the inhibiting factor is the existence of children who like to disturb their friends and the many agendas from home. Based on these findings, it is hoped that it can become an illustration in fostering children's morals, especially students who have studied religion, and become initial data for further researchers in discussing different contexts and issues in their research.

Abstract

The background of this research is that many of the clothes worn by students in madrasas and outside madrasas are not in accordance with Islamic teachings. There are many reasons, ranging from the social environment to social media, which make these clothes a trend for students. Therefore it is necessary to have guidance from various parties so that students are accustomed to wearing clothes based on Islamic teachings. One of them is the teacher's strategy carried out in madrasas. The purpose of this study is the teacher's strategy for Aqidah Akhlak in getting used to the etiquette of dressing for class XI IPA 2 students at MAN Lima Puluh Kota. This study used descriptive qualitative research methods with research informants: madrasa heads, Aqidah Akhlak teachers, and students in class XI IPA 2. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the Akidah Akhlak teacher's strategy in familiarizing students with dress etiquette is: a) providing knowledge about Muslim dress etiquette, b) the teacher is a role model in dress, c) reprimand d) advice, e) giving sanctions.

Abstract

In the world of education, teachers have various important roles in shaping the personality of their students so that they become figures who are able to educate the life of the nation, have faith, are broad-minded, and are beneficial to many people. So it needs to be studied in depth regarding the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers who play an active role in forming, fostering, and guiding the student learning process, especially in memorizing the Al-Qur'an. This research aims to determine the role of PAI teachers in implementing the tahfidz program at SMAN 6 Padang. In this study the authors used a qualitative method with a descriptive method because the object of research relied on observation, interviews and documentation of informants, namely PAI teachers and students of SMAN 6 Padang. Furthermore, the data analysis techniques in this research are data reduction, data presentation and verification. The results of this study reveal several findings regarding the role of PAI teachers at SMAN 6 Padang, namely (i) Spiritual Advisors, (ii) Al-Qur'an Teachers, (iii) Trainers and Motivators, (iv) Supervisors and Assessors, (v) Liaison with parents, (vi) Moral Educators.
