Abstract

Parents are the first educators and mentors for children and have a big influence on their development. This affects the child's future, if the child is educated well then the results will be good too, and vice versa. Morals are the main foundation in forming a child's personality. Continuous coaching is needed to create good morals in children. Likewise, the role of foster parents is essentials in shaping the morals of children in orphanages. This research aims to discover the role of foster parents in forming morals and the supporting and inhibiting factors for foster parents in forming the morals of children in orphanages. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The results of the research show that 1) In the formation of children's morals at the Jasmine Nabila Inayah Ulak Karang Orphanage, there are four roles of foster parents, namely a. Foster Parents as Caregivers, b. Foster Parents as Educators, c. Foster Parents as Role Models, d. Foster Parents as Foster Parents. 2) Supporting and inhibiting factors for foster parents in forming children's morals at the Jasmine Nabila Inayah Ulak Karang Orphanage. The supporting factors are internal factors (Caregiver Experience, Caregiver Communication Skills, Caregiver Patience and Love, Creativity in Caregiving, and Personal Example) as well as external factors (Social Service Support, Donor Support, Volunteer Involvement, No exposure to gadgets). The inhibiting factors are internal factors (limited time and attention of caregivers, poor background of the child, unstable emotional and psychological condition of the child, bad character of the child) and external factors (negative influence from the environment outside the institution, financial condition of the institution unstable, inadequate facilities and infrastructure, no special recruitment for caregivers).

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how the application of the Al-Quran memorization method by PAI Teachers and to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors in applying the Al-Quran memorization method at SD Negeri 19 Air Tawar Barat. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 19 Air Tawar Barat in Padang city. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview and documentation. The informants in this study were the Principal, PAI Teacher and students. The results showed that, (1) The application of the Quran memorization method at SD Negeri 19 Air Tawar Barat has several stages, namely planning implementation and evaluation. (2) Supporting factors for the application of the Tallaqi and Jama'i methods are the motivation of the teacher, good cooperation between PAI teachers and class teachers, parents and using juz 'amma. The inhibiting factors are laziness and impatience, the different abilities of students and the lack of supporting facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

Recitation is a form of da'wah which is considered quite effective in spreading the religion of Islam. This recitation aims to find out what forms of recitation activities are, what the social behavior of recitation members is and what are the solutions in dealing with the social behavior of its members in Jorong Koto Panjang Nagari Koto Baru Krc.IV Nagari. This research is qualitative with a field approach. The main instrument in the research is the researcher himself with data usage techniques used by means of observation, interviews and documentation. The steps to analyze data are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research are the form of recitation activities of the Yasin group, namely as a place to gain religious knowledge and also to stay in touch, the social behavior of its recitation members is used as a means of comparison within social castes and the solution provided is to provide advice through an approach to remind each other of good things for smooth running. Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the practice of pagang gadai is carried out by the community according to the perspective of Islamic law. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, data sources are taken through interviews with ten people in Kenagarian Ganggo Mudiak, Pasaman Regency, West Sumatra Province. To strengthen the interview data, the researcher also made direct observations on the process and procedures for the practice pagang gadai is carried out by the community at the research location. All research data were then analyzed using the Miles & Huberman technique. The research findings found two community mistakes in the practice of pagang gadai, namely i) pagang gadai is carried out by the community in Kanagarian Ganggo Mudiak is not in accordance with gadai in the perspective of Islamic sharia law, ii) the practice of pagang gadai is carried out by the community contains elements of usury which is legally contrary to sharia. Islam. Whereas in the Islamic context the application of gadai is not for profit but aims to help others. The recommendation from the research findings is that it is necessary to provide education to the public about how to pagang gadai procedures that are in accordance with Islamic sharia guidelines so that the error in practices is pagang gadai is not sustainable in the community

Abstract

The objectives of this study were to analyze the behavior and causal factors of plagiarism among the undergraduate students in accomplishing their coursework in Islamic religion subject. The study used methods combination of qualitative and quantitative research or Exploratory mixed methods designs. Qualitative data were taken from 15 papers of group works in the subjects of Islamic religion, while quantitative data were taken using questionnaires towards 80 students who are taking course in Islamic religion at State University of Padang (UNP). Data taken from papers of groupwork were analyzed thematically with method of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and taking conclusion, while questionnaires were analyzed descriptively using SPSS software version 18.0 for Windows.Results of the document analysis found that there are three forms of behavior of student plagiarism in accomplishing the coursework, first: by quoting the entire writings of the other person without mentioning the source, second: by quoting part / half of the text/writings of others, third: by quoting the writing of others then converted into their own statements. While there are eight factors that cause plagiarism which are: not understand about plagiarism, the student’s instant culture in accomplishing academic tasks, the high volume of academic tasks given by lecturers, students’ low interest in reading, not enough time to find the answer in the book, the ease of Information Technology, low purchasing power and lack of knowledge in how to write a scientific papers.
