Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of the Teachmint application and the Blended Learning approach on the academic performance and digital literacy of fourth-grade elementary students concerning buying and selling-related topics. This research employs a quasi-experimental framework and an experimental design featuring a pretest-posttest control group. The focus of this study is on forty fourth-grade primary school students. Proportional random sampling was utilized for selection in this research. Data for this study was collected through a test. A t-test was the statistical method utilized to examine the data with SPSS version 26. Given that the significance value of 0. 000 is lower than the established significance threshold of 0. 05, the results of the t-test suggest that blended learning via the Teachmint application has a substantial effect on student performance. The results of the independent sample t-test also indicate that there is a significant enhancement in students' digital literacy when blended learning strategies are implemented. This conclusion is further corroborated by the t-test results, which show a value of 0. 042

Abstract

Developing linguistic intelligence in children with autism is one way to prepare children with autism so that they have a strong foundation for further development. For this reason, teachers need efforts to understand linguistic intelligence in children with autism, both through analyzing theories related to children's linguistic intelligence and identifying the linguistic intelligence of autistic children. This research aims to develop an instrument for identifying linguistic intelligence in children with autism aged 4-5 years at Tursina Kindergarten, Banyuwangi. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) approach. The analysis stage produced 6 indicators of linguistic intelligence in children with severe autism aged 4-6 years. The design stage produces an instrument design in the form of short statements and orders. The development stage developed an instrument in the form of a checklist with 5 assessment scales after going through revisions based on the results of the FGD with 3 validators. The implementation stage involves testing the instrument in class by the teacher, and the evaluation stage is carried out by asking for a qualitative assessment from the teacher. The results show that the instrument is suitable for the conditions of children with severe autism aged 4-5 years, with the note that implementation requires conducive conditions for the child. This research contributes to the development of methods for identifying linguistic intelligence in children with autism and can be a guide for teachers in supporting the development of children with autism.

Abstract

Abstrak Pendidikan anak usia dini merupakan tahap awal dan terpenting dalam proses pembelajaran dan perkembangan jangka panjang. Aspek penting yang perlu distimulasi pada anak usia dini antara lain aspek sosial emosional yang meliputi kesadaran diri, rasa tanggung jawab terhadap diri sendiri dan orang lain, menaati peraturan, pengaturan diri, dan bertanggung jawab atas perilakunya demi kebaikan orang lain. Untuk mewujudkan sinergi antara guru dan orang tua dalam pendidikan anak usia dini, khususnya dalam proses stimulasi sikap tanggung jawab anak, maka dilakukan penelitian tentang Pengembangan Media Evaluasi Harian Daring untuk Menstimulasi Sikap Tanggung Jawab pada Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun yang sekaligus sebagai upaya untuk menyukseskan program Tujuh Kebiasaan Hebat Anak Indonesia yang digagas oleh Kementerian Pendidikan Dasar dan Menengah Republik Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tentang pengembangan media evaluasi harian daring untuk menstimulasi sikap tanggung jawab anak usia 5-6 tahun yang dioperasikan secara daring. Untuk menilai efektivitas media, dilakukan penilaian terhadap respon praktisi pendidik anak usia dini dari lembaga yang melaksanakan evaluasi harian aktivitas anak dan yang tidak melaksanakan evaluasi harian aktivitas anak. Berdasarkan analisis hasil penilaian praktisi terhadap media yang dikembangkan, maka Media Evaluasi Harian Daring untuk Menstimulasi Tanggung Jawab Anak Usia Dini Usia 5-6 Tahun layak digunakan dengan Tingkat Response sebesar 84,76%.

Abstract

Teachers are a key factor in realizing educational quality, particularly in early childhood education (ECE), where professional commitment, innovation, and resilience are crucial. High turnover intention among ECE teachers threatens the continuity and quality of learning. This study aims to develop a model for implementing the basic values of commitment—comprising dedication to goals, efficiency, innovation, and teaching quality—moderated by compensation satisfaction, to reduce turnover intention. The research focuses on understanding how internal and external motivational factors contribute to teacher retention in ECE institutions. A quantitative approach was employed involving 119 ECE teachers in Jember Regency, East Java, Indonesia. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3.0). Variables measured include core values of organizational commitment, compensation satisfaction, and turnover intention control. Validity and reliability tests confirmed the robustness of the measurement model. The results show that all four dimensions of teacher commitment have a significant negative relationship with turnover intention. Teachers who demonstrate strong alignment with institutional goals, efficiently use resources, engage in innovation, and uphold high teaching standards are significantly less likely to express an intention to leave. Compensation satisfaction was found to be a significant moderating variable that strengthened the relationship between commitment and reduced turnover. Furthermore, a supportive work environment—characterized by physical and emotional well-being, positive peer relationships, and opportunities for professional development—was identified as a contextual enhancer of retention. Theoretically, this study contributes to the refinement of organizational commitment theory in the context of early childhood education in developing countries. Practically, the findings provide actionable insights for policymakers and school administrators to implement targeted retention strategies that address both intrinsic motivations and extrinsic conditions. Future studies are encouraged to include broader variables such as leadership, career advancement, and psychological well-being, as well as test the model across different educational settings.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology today offers various conveniences in human life, including in parenting practices. However, the lack of parental knowledge and skills in guiding children in the digital era can have negative impacts on children’s growth and development, especially in terms of excessive and unmonitored technology use. This study aims to analyze parents' readiness in applying adaptive and wise parenting patterns in the digital age. The research employed a quantitative survey approach, with data collected through an online questionnaire via Google Form. The research instrument consisted of 30 statements divided into 4 indicators, measured using a Likert scale. The study involved 99 parents selected using a simple random sampling technique. Data were analyzed descriptively to obtain an overview of parents’ readiness in digital parenting. The results showed that the level of parental readiness was in the "ready" category at 74.3%. Parents were considered ready in understanding technological developments, supervising and restricting content, and accompanying children in using digital media. These findings indicate the importance of increasing digital literacy for parents to effectively manage challenges while maximizing the potential of technology to support child development. The implication of this study is to provide recommendations for parents to continuously enhance their digital-based parenting knowledge and skills in the modern era.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low initial numeracy skills of group A children at Theobroma 1 Kindergarten, which was caused by monotonous learning and the lack of interactive media. The focus of this research was to develop and test the feasibility of the "Kebun Berhitung" learning media as an innovative solution to improve children's early numeracy skills. As a crucial step, this development research used the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of needs analysis, design, product development, implementation through group trials, and evaluation. Data on validity, effectiveness, and practicality were collected through expert questionnaires, observation sheets of children's activities, and teacher responses. The main findings showed that the "Kebun Berhitung" media was declared highly feasible with an expert validation score of 3.9. This media was also proven to be effective in increasing children's learning activities (score 4.9) and very practical for use by teachers (score 96.4%). In conclusion, the "Kebun Berhitung" media was proven to be valid, effective, and practical for improving early numeracy skills. By presenting a concrete and enjoyable learning experience, this media has succeeded in becoming a recommended solution to overcome the challenges of mathematics learning at the early childhood education level. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berhitung permulaan pada anak kelompok A di TK Theobroma 1, yang disebabkan oleh pembelajaran monoton dan kurangnya media interaktif. Fokus penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan dan menguji kelayakan media pembelajaran "Kebun Berhitung" sebagai solusi inovatif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan numerasi awal anak. Sebagai langkah penting, penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model ADDIE, yang mencakup tahapan analisis kebutuhan, desain, pengembangan produk, implementasi melalui uji coba kelompok, hingga evaluasi. Data validitas, efektivitas, dan kepraktisan dikumpulkan melalui angket ahli, lembar observasi aktivitas anak, serta respons guru. Temuan utama menunjukkan bahwa media "Kebun Berhitung" dinyatakan sangat layak dengan skor validasi ahli 3,9. Media ini juga terbukti efektif meningkatkan aktivitas belajar anak (skor 4,9) dan sangat praktis digunakan oleh guru (skor 96,4%). Kesimpulannya, media "Kebun Berhitung" terbukti valid, efektif, dan praktis untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung permulaan. Dengan menyajikan pengalaman belajar yang konkret dan menyenangkan, media ini berhasil menjadi solusi yang direkomendasikan untuk mengatasi tantangan pembelajaran matematika di tingkat PAUD.
