Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the content analysis of the fourth-grade Bahasa Indonesia textbook on the Aswaja generation and the noble character of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI). MI is a school level equivalent to elementary school under the auspices of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and based on Nahdlatul Ulama/NU (Islamic organization) values, and uses the vision of the aswaja generation and noble character as the establishment of the school (madrasah). While textbooks are the main tools in learning, they might not be written representations of school ideology. This study used a qualitative method of content analysis. The Bahasa Indonesia textbook was coded to look for themes representing the Aswaja generation and noble character indicators. An expert in NU validated the theme and indicators for the coding and the coding result. The results showed that the textbook reflected NU ideology, mostly on tolerance, patience, and helping others. Detailed values were discussed in the results. The research recommended future studies to analyze the representation of NU ideology when using the Bahasa Indonesia textbook in the classroom context.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of implementing Indonesia's Educational Curriculum and literacy interest on grade IV students' Natural Science learning outcomes. The Indonesia's Educational Curriculum, which emphasizes independent and flexible learning, is expected to improve students' understanding and skills in Natural Science lessons. This study uses a quantitative approach with an ex post facto method. The population and sample in this study were all grade IV elementary school students in the same cluster, which amounted to 106 students. Data collection techniques using documentation and closed questionnaires with a Likert scale with four answer options. Documentation in this study is in the form of natural science learning outcomes of elementary school students obtained during the end-of-semester assessment. The data analysis technique uses the t-test, f-test, and the coefficient of determination test.  Based on t-test calculations, Indonesia's Educational Curriculum results are sig. 0.000 <0.05 and literacy interest sig. 0.042 <0.05, which indicates that both Indonesia's Educational curriculum and learning literacy have a significant effect on Natural Science learning outcomes. In the F test, the sig value was obtained. 0.000 <0.05 indicates that Indonesia's Educational Curriculum and Literacy Interest variables simultaneously affect Natural Science Learning Outcomes. The coefficient of determination test results obtained the adjusted R square value of 0.748, which indicates that the independent variable affects the dependent variable by 73.1%, which means that this regression model is effective. Based on the overall final test results of the data analysis used, it is known that there is a positive influence between the two variables.      Keywords: indonesia’s educational curriculum, literacy interest, learning outcomes, natural science.

Abstract

The increase in divorce cases has raised concerns about the psychological well-being of affected children, with the risk of anxiety, depression, and behavioral disorders. The purpose of this writing is to find out the impact of divorce on children's mental health. The method used is a systematic literature review using databases from PubMed and ScienceDirect. The search was carried out using the keywords children, divorce, marital dissolution, mental health. Article screening used the PRISMA method and 8 articles were found that were in accordance with the research topic. The results showed that divorce increased the risk of mental problems such as anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, and decreased academic performance. In addition, children from divorced families face a higher risk of mental disorders. High parental conflict exacerbates negative effects, while good social and emotional support can reduce those adverse effects. This study highlights the importance of paying special attention to the mental well-being of children post-divorce to prevent adverse long-term effects. It is hoped that the results of this study can deepen the understanding of the impact of divorce and help develop support strategies for children who have experienced parental divorce, in order to reduce the risk of long-term mental health disorders. Abstract

This study investigates the development, feasibility, and effectiveness of Nafi Lala (Narasi Profil Pelajar Pancasila), a digital comic designed to enhance fourth-grade students' reading comprehension of narrative texts through the integration of Pancasila Student Profile dimensions in the Merdeka Curriculum. The research employs a research and development method, utilizing the ADDIE model, and collects data through interviews, questionnaires, pretests, posttests, and documentation. The study involves a small group of six students and a large group of 19 fourth-grade students in Semarang City, Central Java. Both qualitative and quantitative data analysis methods are applied, with qualitative data analyzed based on expert feedback and quantitative analysis involving normality tests, paired sample t-tests, and N-Gain analysis. The results show that the teaching module and content receive a score of 90%, while the media component achieves 92%, both categorized as "highly feasible". Student and teacher evaluations further support these findings, with feasibility ratings of 96.75% for the small group, 91.96% for the large group, and 92.11% for teachers. The effectiveness of the digital comic is demonstrated by posttest averages of 83.33 (small group) and 82.11 (large group), exceeding the minimum mastery threshold. The data meet the assumption of normality (p > 0.05), and paired t-tests confirm a significant improvement between pretest and posttest scores (p = 0.001 and p = 0.000, respectively). N-Gain scores are 63.64% (small group) and 69.28% (large group), both categorized as "moderately effective". These findings indicate that the digital comic integrated with Pancasila Student Profiles is feasible and effective in enhancing students

Abstract

Reading comprehension skills are crucial in Indonesian language learning, particularly for understanding explanatory texts that require logical analysis of cause-and-effect relationships. However, low student engagement and limited access to interactive learning media often hinder learning outcomes. This study aims to develop interactive 3D flashcard media using the Assemblr Edu application with Augmented Reality (AR) features. This media aims to improve student understanding through an immersive, constructivist-based learning experience. The study employed a quantitative method with a Research and Development (R&D) approach, following the ADDIE model. Data was collected through observation, interviews, needs surveys, expert validation, documentation, and learning outcome tests. Data analysis included normality tests and t-tests to compare the control and experimental groups. The results showed that AR-based media significantly improved students' reading skills. These findings suggest that AR can enhance motivation, engagement, and learning effectiveness. This study contributes to developing innovative technology-based learning media for language education. The implications of this study indicate that innovative learning media can significantly improve students' understanding of the structure and content of explanatory texts. These results indicate that teachers must consider integrating visual and interactive technology in language learning, especially in informative and complex materials.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of self-efficacy on career decision-making among vocational high school (SMK) students and identify the factors that influence it. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with the PRISMA approach, which includes the identification, screening, evaluation, and interpretation of articles from the Taylor & Francis and Sage Journal databases. Of the 5,533 articles found, four relevant articles were analyzed. The results show that self-efficacy plays a significant role in building students' confidence in choosing a career that suits their interests and potential. Factors such as social support, academic experience, family environment, work experience, and active decision-making strategies contribute significantly to increasing self-efficacy. In addition, interventions such as career guidance, self-exploration training, job simulations, and career workshops have proven effective in helping vocational high school students face the challenges of an increasingly complex working world. This study concludes that strong self-efficacy can help vocational high school students achieve optimal career readiness. It is necessary to develop innovative and integrated career guidance programs, involving schools, parents, and industry, to support students in making informed career decisions. This study provides valuable insights for guidance and counseling teachers in improving more effective career guidance services.
