Abstract

Pendidikan karakter dapat dimaknai sebagai pendidikan nilai, pendidikan budi pekerti, pendidikan moral, pendidikan watak yang tujuannya mengembangkan kemampuan peserta didik untuk memberikan keputusan baik-buruk, memelihara apa yang baik itu dan mewujudkan kebaikkan itu dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dengan sepenuh hati. Penanaman nilai-nilai karakter dalam pendidikan harus dimulai sejak usia dini. Salah satu cara untuk menunjang keberhasilannya adalah mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai karakter pada semua mata pelajaran yang diajarkan di sekolah, termasuk dalam pembelajaran PKn. Pada hakikatnya pembelajaran PKn memiliki dimensi kognitif, dimensi psikomotor, dan dimensi pengembangan sikap. Sesuai dengan semangat pendidikan karakter saat ini, implementasinya dalam pembelajaran PKn tidak lain adalah pelaksanaan dimensi sikap ilmiah. Jadi, integrasi nilai-nilai karakter dalam pembelajaran PKn dapat diimplementasikan dengan melaksanakan pembelajaran PKn secara utuh, tidak hanya ranah kognitifnya saja, tetapi juga pada pengembangan sikap ilmiah siswa.

Abstract

Parents play a pivotal role in their children's learning success, especially during home-based learning activities. As the primary figures in their children's lives, parents take on the role of co-learners, contributing significantly to the learning journey. The aim of this study is to identify the involvement of parents in supporting the learning of their children or elementary school student while at home. The research utilizes a descriptive method within a qualitative research design. The subjects of this study consist of five parents either fathers or mothers of elementary school students. Data collection is conducted through semi-structured interviews. The data analysis employs an interactive qualitative data analysis approach, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing or verification. The research findings reveal that parents actively engage in tutoring, motivating, facilitating and assessing their children's learning activities. In conclusion, tutor, motivator, facilitator and assessor are the roles that reflects the diverse ways parents contribute to their children's success in learning settings at home.

Abstract

The reported community development program aimed at increase the ability of tourism awareness group in managing the karts area tourism area; and build group awareness to exploit karst region tourism potential. This activity was held for 24 people involved in tourism awereness group namely the "Mudal Wisata" group located in Gebangharjo, Pracimantoro, Wonogiri. It used  education and training which is includes stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation using adult-learning and experience-based approaches. The program have brought advantages in term of the target group able to increase awareness to utilize all potentials in karst area, possessing attitude, knowledge and skills of the target group in managing karst tourism service area, able to recognize the tourism potential that can be developed, and able to see innovatif program development efforts in the karst area. Nevertheless, unfortunately result of activities in the form of awake tourism groups that are able to make an effective and superior tourism program can not be achieved because of, in addition to technical factors, differences of interests exist between group members and group administrators. Therefore, another development action is needed that enables the target group to apply the attitudes, skills and knowledge possessed in the tourism implementation activities.

Abstract

Parenting programs have been shown to improve children's behavior. Therefore, the implementation of parenting programs in schools needs to be revealed as a reference for schools to more easily implement them in the school environment. This research uses an ethnographic approach. A sample of one school in Bandar Lampung City was determined using purposive sampling techniques with the criteria that the school had implemented a parenting program. Research data were collected using interviews, observation, and documentation techniques. Data analysis is carried out using thematic analysis, which includes seven phases. Triangulation techniques are used as data validity tests. The findings of this study show that the parenting program was implemented through seminars, teacher-parent collaboration through contact books, guest teachers by parents, sharing short videos through social media, and the presence of BK teachers at school. Thus, it can be concluded that the parenting program is getting optimal by realizing collaborative activities between schools and parents in student learning activities.Keywords: Parenting, elementary school

Abstract

The research aims to analyze influencing factors and role of parents in shaping mental health in generation Z era. The method used descriptive research with qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews and literature study. The data analysis technique used in this research is processing observation data, interviews and literature studies into accurate research data.The research sample was eight fourth grade students at Pungangan 1 public primary school, Mojotengah District, Wonosobo Regency, Central Java. The results of research state that there are three factors influence children's mental health, including; 1) parenting style, 2) interaction between children and parents, 3) parents' understanding of children's mental health in generation Z era. Apart from that, role of parents in maintaining mental health is proven through eight actions; 1) respect, 2) listen, 3) build children's trust, 4) create a positive environment, 5) help children solve problems, 6) set realistic goals, 7) avoid sarcastic comments, and 8) provide encouragement. Based on research results, it was concluded that parents choose a parenting style that suits child's characteristics and plays a role in maintaining child's mental health.

Abstract

Kehadiran mata pelajaran IPAS pada kurikulum merdeka memberikan tantangan bagi siswa untuk mendapatkan pengetahuan alam dan sosial secara bersamaan. Maka melalui penerapan model pembelajaran discovery inkuiri diharapkan dapat mengasah kemampuan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa sekolah dasar pada pembelajaran IPAS melalui penerapan model pembelajaran discovery inkuiri. Metode penelitian menggunakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dengan kategori sangat kritis dengan persentase tertinggi 90%, kategori kritis persentase tertinggi 80%, dan kategori kurang kritis persentase terendah 60%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa peningkatkan berpikir kritis dapat diraih melalui penerapan model pembelajaran discovery inkuiri.

Abstract

The emphasis on the development of Social-Emotional Competence (SEC) in Elementary Schools has increased during the independence curriculum policy. Still, this emphasis also requires teachers to understand learning strategies and the complex nature of students' social-emotional development. This study explores how schools that implement Social-Emotional Competence (SEC) learning affect students' social-emotional intelligence. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation to provide conclusions. This study examines the various strategies implemented in this school, including the curriculum, teaching methods, and teacher challenges in implementing SEC Learning. The results of the study indicate that the systematic integration of Social-Emotional Competence (SEC) learning into the Elementary School curriculum significantly positively affects students' social-emotional and academic development.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the factors influencing parental preferences in choosing Madrasah Salafiyah Ibtidaiyah (MSI) 14 Medono, focusing on parental characteristics, selection factors, and parental expectations. MSI 14 Medono was chosen due to its reputation as a religious school with a specialized program. This qualitative descriptive study involved parents, school principal, teachers, and students as respondents. Data were collected using questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation and analyzed using qualitative and quantitative descriptive approaches. Parental preferences in choosing MSI 14 Medono were accounted for by active learning processes, security, conducive school climate, adequate facilities, information technology, effective leadership, extracurricular options, academic achievements, parental involvement, location, costs, as well as the provision of religious education services such as TPQ and Tahfidz. These findings implies that religious education and character formation are priorities for parents when selecting education for their children. This research also highlights the importance of information technology, effective school leadership, and teacher quality in influencing parental preferences.

Abstract

Juvenile delinquency is a social problem that requires a comprehensive approach from legal, educational, and social aspects. Legal Aid Institutions (LBH) have a strategic role in providing legal protection, education, and assistance for children who are at risk or facing the law. This study aims to analyze the role of LBH Al Kautsar in the prevention of child delinquency through a qualitative approach with case studies. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results of the study show that LBH Al Kautsar plays a role in legal education for the community, assistance for children who are facing the law, and mediation as an alternative to resolving cases outside the judicial channels. LBH also collaborates with schools, law enforcement, and social organizations to create a conducive environment for children. With a legal protection-based approach and cross-sectoral collaboration, LBH not only helps children facing legal problems but also plays a role in building public awareness to prevent child delinquency. This research contributes to understanding the role of LBH in the prevention of child delinquency and becomes the basis for the development of more effective and sustainable child protection policies.

Abstract

Desa Sendangrejo memiliki jumlah pemuda yang cukup potensial untuk dikembangkan. Kegiatan pemuda selama ini yaitu adanya perkumpulan rutin yang biasa disebut karang taruna desa. Akan tetapi dalam hal keterampilan pemuda belum bisa mengembangkan kemampuan yang dimiliki. Motivasi pemuda juga masih rendah dalam memanfaatkan peluang yang ada. Hal ini dikarenakan tidak adanya rangsangan dari pengelola wisata bagi pemuda untuk mengembangkan kemampuannya. Adapun metode kegiatan yang dilakukan mencakup: 1)Metode Ceramah digunakan pada saat sesi penyampaian materi, dimana narasumber memberikan materi kepada peserta pelatihan sebelum dilaksanakannya praktek. 2).Metode Tanya jawab digunakan untuk merefleksi materi yang telah disampaikan oleh narasumber. 3).Metode Praktek. Kegiatan praktek ini bertujuan untuk mempraktekkan materi yang sudah disampaikan oleh narasumber, sehingga ilmu yang diperoleh dapat diaplikasikan dalam kehidupan nyata, karena pada intinya pelatihan ini adalah praktek secara langsung terkait outbound. Kegiatan pelatihan outbound yang sudah dilakukan telah berjalan sesuai rencana kegiatan dan telah mencapai tujuan yang diharapkan dengan indikator peserta pelatihan memiliki motivasi dalam pengembangan desa wisata serta peserta pelatihan memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam kegiatan outound. Kriteria ketercapaian ditunjukkan dengan kemampuan peserta pelatihan dalam melakukan analsisi swot dan membuat action plan.
