Abstract

Food is a basic need which is a right for humans to survive and has an important role so that an arrangement is needed that describes the level of food security in each region. Food security status shows the food stability of a region in terms of availability, access, and consumption of food for the local populace. The diversity of regencies/cities gives a variance effect in the results of food security so that the spatial influence is included in modeling the status of food security owing to the likelihood of interactions in our research between regions with one another, meaning that the condition of food security in regencies/cities is influenced by the condition of neighboring regencies/cities. Based on this, a model is that may be utilized to assess the state of food security is required in districts/cities in Indonesia in 2020. Logistic regression analysis is one technique that may be utilized to create the model regression analysis. Logistic regression analysis is a regression method that tests whether there is a probability the independent variable has the ability to predict the dependent variable.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how important strategic management accounting is in advancing cooperatives. This study uses a qualitative method through a case study approach. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and literature study. The object of the research is the application of strategic management accounting in cooperatives. The findings of this study are management accounting strategies contribute to advancing cooperatives, but there are still few cooperatives that apply strategic management accounting strategies due to constraints on understanding the roles and functions of cooperative elements, recruiting members and selecting cooperative management, capital, systems and technology, and commitment. These obstacles can be overcome by implementing strategic management accounting which stimulates to collect information, analyze, interpret, recommend solution strategies, and communicate to cooperative management so that they can be used as considerations related to decision making in planning, controlling, evaluating, and continual improvement.

Abstract

One of indicators of economic stability of a country is controlled inflation. In general, inflation provides information about the rise of goods and services in a region within certain period which has strongly related with people’s ability to purchase. The Covid-19 pandemic has affected almost any sectors especially the consumer price in-dex. Bali, as a major tourist destination in Indonesia, has severely affected by the pandemic. Information about future inflation rate plays important role in determining the correct decision regarding economic policy. The aim of this research is to fore-cast inflation rate in Denpasar using deep learning method for time series. Deep learning, a part of machine learning, consists of layers of neurons that are designed to learn complex patterns and is able to make forecasting. In this research we de-ployed a special type of recurrent neural networks called long-short term memory (LSTM) that is suitable for use in time series analysis. We stacked the networks into two, three, and four layers to add capacity and to build deep networks for inflation rate series. A grid search for each layer is conducted to obtain optimal hyperparame-ters setting. We conclude that the optimum architecture for setting for this deep net-work is stacked two LSTM layers. The monthly inflation rate forecasts suggest the in-flation for 2022 fluctuates, but below one percent.

Abstract

Information about inflation plays important role in economic policy. The government of the Republic Indonesia has put a great deal of effort to control inflation rate. The aims of this research are to forecast Indonesia’s inflation rate using deep auto-regressive networks and to compare it with other models such as deep state space, simple feed forward, and naïve seasonal. In this study we compare eighteen deep au-toregressive networks. Each model differs only in its hyperparameters settings such as the number of epochs, the number of layers, the number of cells, and the number of batch sizes. In order to check for consistency each model is replicated ten times. In total there are 180 runs for each of configuration including the replication. The results show that the deep autoregressive model with 50 epochs, 4 layers, 40 cells, 32 batch sizes produces the smallest root mean squared error at 0.218565. This root mean squared error also the smallest among the other models such as deep state space (0.28734), simple feed forward (0.350449), and naïve seasonal (0.336056). In conclusion, the median forecasts fluctuates but below 1 percent.

Abstract

Internal audit quality is the initial stage that greatly influences whether a company's audit quality is good or bad, as well as being the initial door to creating a company that is healthy, clean, accountable, transparent, and upholds every existing company and state regulations. There are a number of factors that can influence whether the quality of internal audit is good or bad, including the auditor's moral reasoning to find odd flaws, increase the detail of the audit, and so on. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the influence of Moral Reasoning on Internal Audit Quality with Auditor Competence as a moderating variable. This research is quantitative research with an explanatory approach. The data used in this research is primary data distributed to 300 BUMN internal auditors spread throughout Indonesia. This data uses a questionnaire method in its distribution containing the choices of agree, strongly agree, strongly disagree, disagree, and normal/average regarding auditor reasoning, auditor competence, and internal audit standards. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jika the Moral Reasoning variable can have a positive relationship and a significant influence on Internal Audit Quality because the P-Values value is positive and is below the significance level of 0.05, namely 0.019. This is because good moral reasoning from an auditor can make the auditor prioritize the interests of the public/company/state rather than personal interests or only some parties. This proves that the author's first hypothesis and first belief can be accepted. Apart from that, the Auditor Competency variable can moderate the relationship between the Moral Reasoning variable and Internal Audit Quality because the P-Values value is in a positive direction and is far below the significance level of 0.05, namely 0.000, even smaller than the direct assessment of 0.019. This is because good Moral Reasoning makes auditors prioritize the public interest, if accompanied by good Auditor Competency, it will make the influence of Moral Reasoning on Internal Audit Quality more significant. In this way, the second hypothesis and the researcher's second belief can also be accepted.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of Work Life Balance (WLB) practices, job satisfaction, and stress levels on employee retention in the banking industry in Indonesia. The survey method was used to collect data from 350 respondents. The results of the analysis show that WLB practices and job satisfaction have a significant positive influence on employee retention, while stress levels have a significant negative influence. Mediation analysis shows that job satisfaction mediates the relationship between WLB practices and employee retention, as well as between stress levels and employee retention. In conclusion, banking company management needs to pay attention to and improve WLB practices, manage work stress, and pay attention to factors that influence job satisfaction to retain quality and committed employees in the long term. Keywords: Banking Industry, Employee Retention, Indonesia, Job Satisfaction, Stress Levels, Work Life Balance Practices.

Abstract

It can be argued that financial management training programs occupy an important position with respect to the enhancement of performance and sustainability in micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). This study aims to analyze the effect of financial management training programs on the financial management of MSMEs in Region Y. The research method employed is qualitative, utilizing in-depth interviews with 15 MSME owners who have attended the training. The findings indicate that the training facilitated an enhancement in MSMEs' comprehension of financial recording, budgeting, and cash flow management. Nevertheless, the implementation of the training was hindered by constraints in time and resources. This study presents recommendations for optimizing the training through a more practical and sustainable approach.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic severely impacted Indonesia, leading to substantial socio-economic disruptions and widespread social anxiety. In response, the government implemented a range of measures, including restrictions and mandatory health protocols, to control the virus. Although the pandemic is officially declared over, the risk of infection remains. Therefore, continued adherence to health protocols is essential. This study aimed to identify the key factors driving public compliance with health protocols in the post-pandemic period within Indonesia, providing valuable insights for policymakers to prevent future outbreaks. The findings revealed that knowledge emerged as the most significant determinant of community adherence to ongoing health protocol implementation. Consequently, the government must consistently emphasize the importance of adhering to health protocols whenever individuals are outside their homes.
