Abstract

Teaching and learning activities have an important role so that education can run well. Basically teaching and learning activities lead to the achievement of student learning outcomes. Learning outcomes achieved by students can be used as a reference in knowing students' abilities and as a correction whether students are still experiencing difficulties in learning. The purpose of this method was to analyze and identify the learning difficulties of the students of Kudus District High School. Students' perceptions regarding teacher teaching methods, learning independence, and learning interest are used to measure learning difficulties. This method used a quantitative approach. The study population amounted to 1033 students and the sample amounted to 233 students. The sampling technique used is proportional random sampling. The method of data collection was using a questionnaire. The method of data analysis uses descriptive analysis and path analysis. The results of path analysis showed the direct influence of students' perceptions regarding teacher teaching methods on learning interest, direct influence of students' perceptions regarding teacher teaching methods on learning difficulties, direct influence of learning independence on learning difficulties, direct influence of learning interest on learning difficulties. Indirectly students' perceptions regarding teacher teaching methods influence the difficulty of learning through interest in learning.

Abstract

The Implementation of character value in education is important to foster the social attitude of the students to create better personalities for the sake of being human as well as good members of society. The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the implementation of instilling discipline and polite character values toward social attitudes of the student; both inside of social study learning, and family. This research used a qualitative method. It was done at Kubangpari 01 Public Elementary School, Kersana district, Brebes Regency. The techniques of collecting data were interview, observation, and documentation. The validities of the data were source triangulation and method. The processes of analyzing data were done through data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusion/verification. The implementation of discipline character value foster into social study learning based on observation was done through initial activity before learning until it had finished. The implementation of polite character value into family life was based on training or habit to obey rules, parents’ command. Parents fostered the implementation of polite character value in family life by advising them to respect older people, to be polite and not to be rude while talking.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of PBL models assisted by interactive videos on students' problem-solving abilities. The type of research used was quantitative research with the design of the control group pre-test post-test. The study population consisted of all fourth-grade students in the Kartini Group of Kudus City. The sample was selected through a purposive sampling technique so that the fourth grade of Elementary School Glantengan was selected which amounted to 27 students as the experimental group and fourth-grade Elementary School 4 Panjunan which amounted to 29 students as the control group. Data collection techniques use test techniques. The results of this study indicate that the classical completeness of the problem-solving ability of the experimental class reaches 92.5% with an average value of 83.52. The results of the analysis of problem-solving abilities in the experimental class showed that the indicator of understanding the problem had increased from 54% to 83%. The indicator for planning has increased from 56% to 82%. The indicator of solving problems has increased from 59% to 80%. The checking indicator has increased from 58% to 81%. The experimental class N-gain score scores reached 0.62 with a moderate category.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the improvement of learning outcomes and students' self-confidence with PBL and TPS models. This study uses an experimental research design with two group pre-test - post-test designs. The study population was fourth-grade students at Elementary School in East Pekalongan sub-district. Samples were taken by random sampling technique obtained by 114 children from Public Elementary School Klego 01 as many as 61 students, and Public Elementary School Poncol 2 as many as 53 students. Research data were taken from tests and observations. The data were analysed using t-test analysis, with SPSS 23 software. The results showed PBL models are more effective than TPS models on learning theme VIII sub-theme 3 learning 3 with t-test sig values < 0.05. The research concludes that the PBL and TPS models are effective in improving learning outcomes and students' self-confidence. The PBL model is more effective than the TPS model in improving student learning outcomes and self-confidence.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of family environment,school environment, teaching method and learning motivation towards the masterylearning of accounting students. The population taken in this research is students ofgrade XI MA YASPIA Grobogan as many as 116 students, that are divided into twoclasses; XI A and XI B. The sample taken is students of grade XI MA YASPIAGrobogan who are 100 students in total. The variable being addressed is variableexogen which covers family envoronment, school environment and teaching method.Meanwhile, learning motivation as the intervening variable and endogen variable aremastery learning of accounting. The method of data gathering is documentation andquesionaire. The method of data analysis is Structural Equation Modelling (SEM).The result of the reserarch showed that family environment, school environment,teaching method and learning motivation influenced the students’ accounting mastery.Fisrt, the family environment influenced the students’ accounting mastery directly,(13%), with CR = 1.96 and a p value of 0.049 lower than 0.05. Second, the learningmotivation influenced the students’accounting mastery, (8.91%), with CR = 3.085 anda p value of 0.002 lower than 0.05. Third, the school environment influenced thestudents’ accounting mastery directly (27%), with CR = 0.028 and a p value 0.000lower than 0.05 and it had indirect influence base on motivation point of view(11.55%) with CR = 4.111 and a p value of 0.000 lower than 0.05. Finally, the methodused in teaching influenced the students’ accounting mastery (34%) with CR = 5.171and a p value of 0.000 lower than 0.05 and base on motivation point of view, it hadinderect influence (7.26%) with CR = 2.597 and a p value of 0.009 lower than 0.05.Kata Kunci: lingkungan keluarga, lingkungan sekolah, metode pembelajaran, motivasibelajar, ketuntasan belajar.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh variabel kompetensi sumber daya manusia, penerapan standar akuntansi dan variabel moderatig yaitu sistem pengendalian internal terhadap kualitas laporan keuangan.Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah Koperasi Pegawai Republik Indonesia di Kabupaten Tegal. Sampel dipilih dengan metode converience sampling dan diperoleh 31 responden yang menjadi objek penelitian. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik angket atau kuesioner. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi berganda dan uji selisih nilai mutlak dengan software SPSS versi 21 dengan pemenuhan uji asumsi klasik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kompetensi sumber daya dan penerapan standar akuntansi berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kualitas laporan keuangan. Pengujian variabel pemoderasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem pengendalian internal berpengaruh signifikan dalam memoderasi pengaruh kompetensi sumber daya manusia dan penerapan standar akuntansi terhadap kualitas laporan keuangan. Saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya yaitu menambah teknik pengambilan data melalui wawancara pada responden agar informasi mengenai koperasi menjadi lebih mendalam dan menambah variabel lain yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas laporan keuangan. The study aims to examine the effect of human resource competence, the application of accounting standards and the variable moderating internal control system of the quality of financial reporting. Population of this study is a all KPRI in Tegal District amount 72 cooperatives. The sample was selected using purposive sampling method and obtained 31 cooperatives. Furthermore, the data is analyzed by absolute difference test with SPSS of 21 version. Results of this study indicates that competence of human resources influence positively on the quality of financial reports, but the application of accounting standard does not affect the quality of financial reports. In addition, internal control system is found to moderate the affect of human resources competency and quality of financial reports. However, internal control system fails to moderate the effect of human resources competency and quality of financial reports. Conclusion of this study is that board of human resources competency that affect of quality of financial reports. In addition, internal control system is found to moderate the effect of human resources competency and quality of financial reports.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of institutional ownership, dividend policy, and free cash flow on debt policy with profitability as moderating. The study population was 148 manufacturing sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2014-2016 period. The samples obtained were 41 companies with 123 units of analysis with purposive sampling method on predetermined criteria. Data were analyzed with SPSS 21 application with moderation regression analysis method. Institutional ownership and dividend policy have no significant effect on debt policy. Meanwhile, free cash flow has a significant positive effect on debt policy. In addition, profitability cannot moderate the significant influence of institutional ownership, dividend policy and free cash flow on debt policy is the result of research. The conclusion of this study is that companies need to improve the optimal debt policy to avoid financial difficulties in the future and the profitability ratio needs to be increased because increased debt use is determined by looking at the potential profitability of the company.

Abstract

Strengthening character education is already widespread in primary schools, however, there are schools that have not optimized its implementation. The purpose of this study was to analyze the strengthening of character education based on social skills through the integrated thematic learning in Darussalam elementary school Semarang, consisting of planning, implementing and evaluating the strengthening of character education through the integrated thematic learning. The method used in this study was qualitative research with a phenomenological design. The data collection techniques was using in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis techniques used were data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the reinforcement of character education was carried out through three stages, namely planning which carried out by preparing and developing the characterized lesson plans, the second was implementation by linking the learning with monotheism and the stages of the five continuum, and finally the evaluation by using K13 attitude assessment and specific guidelines for monotheism assessment. The conclusion in this study was that the strengthening of character education is carried out through these three stages, each of which is implemented optimally by the school. The benefits of this study is that it is expected to increase the repertoire of knowledge and broaden insights about the social skills of elementary students in strengthening the character education through the learning activities.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of the size of independent commissaries, the effectiveness of audit committee and leverage on the selection of external auditors with firm size as moderation variable. The population of this research was all the companies of financial sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange at 2017 as many as 95 companies. The samples were determined using purposive sampling technique. There were 89 companies as research samples and units of analysis. Moreover, the data were collected by documentation method. Analysis of research data used descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results indicate that the size of independent commissaries, the effectiveness of audit committee and leverage significantly have positive effect on the auditor selection. Firm size moderates the effects of the size of board of independent commissaries and leverage on the auditor selection, but does not moderates the effect of audit committee effectiveness on the auditor selection. Based on the research results, it shows that the size of board of independent commissaries with firm size as moderation can increase the selection of Big Four external auditor, while leverage with firm size as moderation can decrease the selection of Big Four external auditor.

Abstract

Based on Rules of National Education Minister Number 22 Year 2016 about Process Standard in implementing 2013 curriculum, scientific approach in learning could be used to improve cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. To ensure this scientific approach running smoothly, teacher should be able to design learning in which uses scientific aspect. In Banyumas municipal, there were several primary schools implemented 2013 curriculum appropriately. This research aime to analyze effectiveness of scientific approach learning instrument under theme saving energy. This Research and Development study was conducted for fourth graders of SDN 03 Cilangkap and SDN 01 Samudra, Banyumas municipal. The techniques to collect data were interview, observation, questionnaire, documentation, and learning outcome test. The findings showed that the learning instrument validation by validators was said valid. The implementation of the learning instrument on theme ? saving energy for the fourth graders were practical and effective. The effectiveness of the instrument could be seen from the learning outcomes of the students in prestest and posttest. The score of students before intervened by the product was 64.26. Meanwhile, after intervened by the product, it improved into 78.89. Thus, it resulted to N ? Gain test with 0.40, categorized moderate. Furthermore, affective and psychomotor learning outcomes also had improvement with very well criterion on affective domain and well criterion on psychomotor domain.
