Abstract

This study aims to test the effectiveness of group counseling with cognitive restructuring techniques to reduce students' smoking behavior. This study uses a true experimental design using the pretest-posttest control group design method. The sample taken in this study was 10 people consisting of 5 people in the experimental group with cognitive restructuring techniques and 5 people in the control group without intervention. Sampling using purposive sampling technique. The data collection method was carried out using a questionnaire on smoking behavior in students. The data analysis method used Non-Parametric Statistical Tests. The results of this study indicate that group counseling with cognitive restructuring techniques can reduce students' smoking behavior. This is evidenced by the results of the Mann Whitney Parametric Statistical test with an Asymp.Sig value. (2-Tailed) of 0.044 <0.05 where the hypothesis is stated to be accepted. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, there is a difference in the average scores of the two groups. The experimental group had a percentage decrease of 31.82% while the control group was 20.23%. The conclusion in this study is that group counseling with cognitive restructuring techniques is more effective in improving cognitive restructuring than conventional group counseling.

Abstract

As a student, many demands are imposed, starting from the needs of academic and non-academic values, participating in various intra and extracurricular activities to add value and expertise, fibre and much more. From the many demands that exist, students often experience academic stress. For this reason, high academic resilience is needed to cope with academic stress. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of group counselling with the WDEP technique to improve students' academic resilience. This WDEP technique is one of the techniques in reality therapy which is an acronym for Want, Doing and Direction, Evaluation and Planning. The research was conducted on grade VII G students at SMP Negeri 3 Magelang. Pre-experiment, using one group pre-test post-test design. Where the design uses one group that will be used as an experimental group to be given treatment in the form of WDEP technique group counselling services. By using a purposive sampling technique, from 32 students in the class, 8 students were taken as members of the experimental group to participate in group counselling activities. Meanwhile, the method for analyzing the data used parametric statistics paired sample t-test with SPSS 25 software. The results of the study show that the WDEP technique of group counselling affects increasing students' academic resilience.

Abstract

Penelitian dengan judul pengaruh layanan bimbingan dan konseling terhadap sikap penyesuaian diri siswakelas 2 di SMK Yudya Karya Kota Magelang tahun 2014/2015 bertujuan yaitu untuk mengetahui adanya suatu pengaruh pemberian layanan bimbingan dan konseling terhadapsikap penyesuian diri siswa.Teknikpengumpulan data yang digunakandalampenelitianiniadalahmetodeangket/kuesioner, observasidanwawancaradi lokasipenelitiansebagai data pendukungpenelitian.Populasi yang digunakandalampenelitianiniadalahsiswakelas 2 di SMK YudyaKarya Kota Magelang.Dalampenelitianinisampel yang digunakankelas 2 Listrik yang berjumlah45siswa.Teknik yang digunakanuntukpengambilansampeladalahpurposive samplingdengansudahmenentukansampel yang dijadikansubyekpenelitian.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis yang diajukanyaituadapengaruhlayananbimbingandankonselingterhadapsikappenyesuaiandirisiswakelas 2 di SMK YudyaKarya Kota Magelangtahun 2014/2015. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh konseling kelompok dengan teknik restrukturisasi kognitif terhadap peningkatan kecerdasan emosional remaja. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pre-eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain penelitian One Group Pretest Posttest, desain tersebut menggunakan satu kelompok subjek dengan satu macam perlakuan, kelompok eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah remaja Dusun Gadingan, Desa Banyubiru, Kecamatan Dukun, Kabupaten Magelang sebanyak 29 orang. Banyaknya sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 6 remaja. Subjek penelitian dipilih secara random sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan skala kecerdasan emosional. Metode analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan parametrik paired sample t test. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa konseling kelompok dengan teknik restrukturisasi kognitif berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan kecerdasan emosional remaja. Hal ini dibuktikan dari hasil uji paired sample t-test dengan probabilitas nilai sig(2 tailed) 0,001 lebih kecil dari 0,05. Adanya perbedaan skor rata-rata angket kecerdasan emosional yaitu 6,395% dari hasil pretest posttest. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa konseling kelompok dengan teknik restrukturisasi kognitif dapat meningkatkan kecerdasan emosional remaja. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada remaja di dusun dengan usia yang beragam sehingga penulis memberikan rekomendasi untuk penelitian dilakukan di sekolah sehingga pelaksanaan penelitian dapat berjalan secara maksimal.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of self-efficacy training on improvingthe self-concept of seventh grade students of SMP Plus Ihya’ul Ulum Muntilan.This research is true experimental design research with pretest-posttest controlgroup design. Research subject were selected using simple random sampling. Thesamples taken were 22 students consisting of 11 students as the experimental group and 11 students as the control group. The method of data collection is done by using a self-concept questionnaire. The analysis prerequisite test consists of a normality test and a homogenity test. Data analysis used One Way Anova Parametric Statistical analysiswith the help of SPSS version 25.The result showed that self-efficacy training had an effect on increasing students’self-concept. This is evidenced by the result of the One Way Anova Parametric Statisticstest with a probability value of sig. (2-tailed) 0,004 < 0,05. Based on the result of the analysis and discussion, there is a difference in the average score of the student self-concept questionnaire between the experimental group by 12% and the control group by 4%. The result of the study can be concluded that there is an effect of self-efficacytraining to improve students’ self-concept.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of mind mapping techniques in group guidance services to improve the career planning skills of eighth grade students of SMP N 3 Bulu Temanggung. This type of research is a quantitative research with an experimental method of one group pre-test post test design. This research was conducted in eight meetings with 8 students as research subjects. The data analysis technique used parametric analysis and paired sample t-test. The results showed that there was a change in students' career planning before and after participating in group guidance services with mind mapping techniques (Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.00 < 0.05). This shows that the mind mapping technique with group guidance services is effective for improving the career planning skills of eighth grade students of SMP N 3 Bulu Temanggung. For this reason, Bk teachers should use mind mapping techniques in group guidance services to improve students' career planning skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of group counseling with a humanistic approach in improving the psychological well-being of foster children at the A'isyiyah Sumberrejo Orphanage, Bojonegoro Regency. The type of research used is pre-experimental research with the One Group Pretest Posttest Design model. Research subjects were selected by purposive sampling. The sample is 6 high school age foster children. The method of data collection was carried out with a psychological well-being questionnaire. Data analysis used the T test, namely the Paired Sample T Test with the help of the SPSS for Windows version 26.00 program. The results showed that the hypothesis test showed a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05, proving that there was a significant difference between the pretest with an average score of 88.67 which increased to an average score of 106.83 in the posttest. So it can be concluded that humanistic group counseling can help improve the psychological well-being of foster children in orphanages by marked changes in attitudes, understanding and positive behavior of foster children.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of interpersonal communication training to improve cooperation between adolescents. This research uses One Group Pretest-Poesttest Design. The samples taken in this study were 8 teenagers consisting of one experimental group. Sampling using random sampling technique. Methods of data collection is done by using a cooperative questionnaire. The data analysis method used is parametric analysis Paired sample t-test. The results of this study indicate that interpersonal communication training can have an effect on increasing cooperation between adolescents. This is evidenced by the Paired Sample T Test with a significance probability value (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05. Based on the results of the study, there was a difference in the average score of the 20% Cooperation questionnaire from the results of the pretest and posttest. The results of the study can be concluded that interpersonal communication training is able to increase cooperation between adolescents.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of group counseling on cognitive restructuring techniques to reduce student interpersonal communication anxiety. This type of research is a quantitative research with a pre-experimental design research method with a one group pretest-posttest design model. The sample in this study was 15 students of FKIP Muhammadiyah University of Magelang who were taken using purposive sampling technique. The data collection tool used is a student interpersonal communication anxiety scale. Based on the results of hypothesis testing with the paired sample t-test with a significant (2-tiled) probability of 0.000 <0.05. And based on the results of the analysis and discussion, there is a difference in the average score of the student interpersonal communication anxiety scale questionnaire by 25% from the pretest results and the posttest results of the student interpersonal communication anxiety scale questionnaire.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh konseling kelompok dengan Teknik Shaping untuk meningkatkan kedisplinan siswa di kelas VIII G SMP Negeri 8 magelang. Pendekatan ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen dengan model One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini dipilih dengan Teknik Purposive Sampling. Sampel yang daimbil dalam penelitian ini yaitu konsleing kelompok Teknik Shaping. Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 7 siswa. Ada dua variabel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu variabel bebas yang berupa konseling kelompok Teknik Shaping. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan instrument angket. Uji validitas instrument kedisplinan siswa. Analisis data menggunakan parametric dengan Teknik uji Paired Sample T-test. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kedisplinan siswa di sekolah mengalami kenaikan setelah memperoleh layanan konseling kelompok Teknik shaping dengan rata-rata perubahan 19,7% dan hasil analisis uji Paired Sample T-test, Sig.2 tailed menunjukan =0,000 < 0,05, hasil probabilitas menunjukan kurang dari 0,05 maka hipotesis diterima. Berdsarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa layanan konseling kelompok dengan Teknik Shaping efektif dalam meningkatkan kedisplinan siswa di sekolah kelss VIII G SMP Negeri 8 Magelang.
