Abstract

Objective: This research aims to analyse the factors that influence customer satisfaction of black market’s Chinese smartphone. Research Design & Methods: The research uses quantitative approach to analyse the sample of 250 buyers of black market’s Chinese smartphone across Solo Raya. The sampling technique is purposive sampling through questionnaires with a Likert scale. The analytical technique is multiple regression. Findings: The findings showed that 1) black market has a significant direct effect on customer satisfaction, 2) price has a significant direct effect on customer satisfaction, 3) product quality has a significant direct effect on customer satisfaction. Implications & Recommendations: This research has practical implications for the marketing policies implemented by Chinese smartphone companies to increase customer awareness and product distribution policies to support increased sales at official stores and fight illegal trade in Chinese smartphone products. The social impact of the research is to contribute to changes in people's behavior in buying Chinese smartphones where there needs to be aware that the black market is an illegal store to buy products if people want to buy Chinese smartphones, then the right thing is at official stores or outlets that are already working—same with the company. Contribution & Value Added: This research provides added value to evaluating distribution policies implemented by Chinese smartphone companies, which are considered less able to compete with the black market. So to increase market share at official stores, Chinese smartphone companies must be more severe in managing the distribution of product sales so that industrial competition can run properly.

Abstract

This research identifies the driving factors of SMEs' digital innovation and their effects on improving SMEs' financial performance during the COVID-19 pandemic, intending to discover the mediating role of digital innovation in improving SMEs' financial performance through innovation orientation, IT readiness, and digital capability. The type of research is quantitative with a sample of 188 SMEs actors in Surakarta and its surroundings who have adopted e-commerce and fintech, with SEM-PLS modeling analysis. The results show that digital innovation has an important role as a mediator for the variables of digital orientation, IT readiness, and digital capability that affect the improvement of SMEs' financial performance during the COVID 19 pandemic. SMEs that carry out digital innovation through e-commerce and fintech have increased financial performance compared to previously, this was seen from the percentage increase in sales and profits compared to the previous one. This research gives contribution to the new knowledge about the digital innovation of SMEs, the new conceptual framework that connects digital innovation with business performance from the perspective of financial performance. The significant positive effect of digital innovation on improving financial performance shows that it is important for small enterprise to improve their digitization skills and knowledge in business development to fulfill customer needs and improve performance for future business sustainability

Abstract

ABSTRAK Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk (1) memberikan solusi peluang usaha kepada UMKM konveksi yang usahanya saat pandemi ini terpuruk (2) mengedukasi masyarakat tentang bahayanya covid-19 (3) membagikan masker gratis kepada masyarakat di kawasan Solo Raya. Pencapaian tujuan tersebut dilakukan melalui (1) pencarian UMKM konveksi yang terdampak pandemi di kawasan Solo Raya (2) pembukaan pendaftaran volunteer khusus mahasiswa manajemen FEB UMS yang berdomisili di Solo Raya (3) Melakukan sosialisasi terhadap volunteer terpilih (4) membentuk tim pendamping untuk mendampingi volunteer ketika melakukan kegiatan (5) mencetak pamflet untuk nantinya dibagikan ke masyarakat bersamaan dengan membagikan masker dan melakukan edukasi kepada masyarakat. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ini berlangsung dengan baik dan lancar. Kegiatan ini mampu memberikan pengetahuan baru kepada masyarakat tentang bahaya nya covid-19 dan juga cara mencegah penyebarannya, juga pentingnya menggunakan masker, selain itu kegiatan ini juga membantu UMKM supaya mereka bisa memperoleh penghasilan lagi melalui produksi masker kain di masa pandemi ini. Memang ada sedikit kendala yang muncul pada saat kegiatan tapi hal itu dapat kami minimalisir dan dapat menjadi evaluasi kami dalam melaksanakan kegiatan berikutnya. Ada beberapa saran yang diajukan setelah kegiatan ini selesai diantaranya lebih mengecek masker lagi sebelum dibagikan, pemilihan tempat pembagian masker harus di kawasan pusat ekonomi atau kawasan yang lumayan ramai, memberikan edukasi dengan lebih sopan dan menggunakan bahasa yang mudah dipahami oleh masyarakat.

Abstract

This research is aims to identify the characteristics of internal environment as well as the profile of the management capability of the batik industry in Kampung Laweyan, Surakarta. Furthermore, to know the factors of the ability of management is to encourage the main factors in managing business for batik industry. The object of this research is batik industry in Kampung Laweyan in ​Kecamatan Laweyan, Surakarta. The study involved 100 batik entrepreneurs with 65 samples middle and small-scale batik entrepreneurs in Laweyan, where the overall input of the questionnaire was good. The analysis used is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis by using multiple linier regression analysis and multilevel regression analysis (Moderate Regression Analysis). The result of this research shows that from 5 independent variables and dependent variables only 3 hypothesis are accepted, they are operational management capabilities which have a negative effect, marketing management and human resources management’s ability have positively influence to nonfinancial performance. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat kerentanan wilayah terhadap banjir, menganalisis peranserta stakeholders dalam penguruangan risiko banjIr, dan merumuskan strategi untuk mengurangi risiko banjir di Kabupaten Klaten. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yang dikumpulkan menggunakan wawancara terstruktur. Alat analisis yang diguanakan adalah indeks, MACTOR dan AHP. Hasil penelitian menjelaskna bahwa kerentanan wilayah rawan banjir di Kabupaten Klaten berada pada kategori sedang. Aspek sensitifikats merupakan aspek pembentuk kerentanan yang paling tinggi diikuti aspek kemampuan adaptif dan eksposur. Terdapat 13 stakeholders dalam pengurangan risiko banjir, dan mereka memiliki kepentingan yang berbeda beda dalam pengurangan risiko banjir ini. Terdapat 4 objectives stakeholders yaitu pendapatan, lingkungan alam dan buatan, pembangunan daerah dan keselamatan masyarakat. Berdasarkan 13 stakeholdeers yang terlibat dalam pengurangan risiko banjir di Kabupaten Klaten, dikelompokkan dalam tiga kelompok besar, yaitu kelompok pertama terdiri dari Bappelbangda, BPBD, Dinas Kesehatan, DPU, Camat, Kepala Desa, LSM, Relawan, dan pelaku usaha. Kelompok kedua terdiri atas TNI-POLRI, PMI dan SAR. Kelompok ketiga yaitu perguruan tinggi. Berdasarkan tingkat kepentingannnya, Bappelbangda, BPBD, Dinas Kesehatan, DPU, Camat, Kepala Desa, LSM, Perguruan Tinggi, Relawan, pelaku usaha berada pada posisi sentral karena memiliki tingkat kepentingan bersama yang tinggi, sedangkan TNI-POLRI, PMII dan SAR memiliki konvergen yang rendah.

Abstract

Industri pengolahan merupakan penopang utama perekonomian daerah Kabupaten Klaten. Desa Wangen Kecamatan Polanharjo merupakan salah satu sentra kerajinan batik di Kabupaten Klaten yang memproduksi aneka tas (tas kecil, tas rangsel dan tas laundry), dompet, tempat pensil, kipas dan souvenir pernikahan. Desa Wangen berada pada jalur strategis desa wisata Polanharjo sehingga memberikan banyak peluang usaha bagi masyarakat sekitarnya. Permasalahan utama pengrajin perca batik adalah belum memiliki media promosi sebagai sarana promosi produk, baik media katalog maupun label dan papan nama usaha. Penjualan produk hanya berdasarkan pesanan, padahal mereka mampu memproduksi dalam jumlah yang banyak dan tidak memiliki masalah dalam bahan baku dan tenaga kerja. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan melalui pendampingan bagi pengrajin perca batik di desa Wangen Kecamatan Polanharjo Kabupaten Klaten. Kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah (1) pembuatan label / merk, (2) penyusunan katalog, (3) uji coba promosi, dan (4) pembuatan papan nama kerajinan batik dan pemasangan di tempat yang srategis. Hasil pendampingan adalah mitra mampu meningkatkan penjualan produknya meskipun belum signifikan karena pendampingan di bidang manajemen, sifatnya jangka panjang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis tingkat pemahaman pelaku UKM pangan terhadap banjir, menganalisis tingkat ketahanan UKM pangan terhadap banjir, menganalisis hubungan antara pemahaman pelaku UKM atas banjir dan ketahanan UKM pangan, serta menganalisis tingkat persaingan UKM dalam industri beras. Penelitian ini dilakukan di daerah rawan banjir di Kabupaten Klaten Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Populasi penelitian adalah semua pelaku usaha UKM yang berada dalam rantai pasok pangan yang pernah mengalami banjir minimal sebanyak 3 kali. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling, dan diambil sebanyak 100 responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yang dikumpulkan melalui wawancara terstruktur, indpeth interview dan FGD. Penelitian ini menggunakan beberapa alat analisis, yaitu analisis diskriptif, indeks dan chi square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Klaten merupakan kabupaten dengan indeks ketahanan wilayah atas banjir pada kategori sedang, dimana sensitivitas merupakan aspek pembentuk ketahanan wilayah paling rendah. Pendapatan dan kesehatan masyarakat menjadi penyebab utama rendahnya tingkat sensitifitas. UKM dalam rantai pasok pangan, baik itu usaha pertanian padi, penebas padi, pengepul padi, selepan, pedagang grosir dan pegadang eceran memiliki pemahaman banjir dalam kategori sedang. Tingkat ketahanan meraka berada pada kategori sedang, dimana pemasok menjadi aspek pembentuk ketahanan yang paling kuat dan aspek pembentuk paling lemah adalah tenaga kerja. Pemahaman pelaku UKM terhadap banjir berbanding lurus dengan ketahanan UKM pangan. Semakin tinggi tingkat pemahaman pelaku UKM terhadap banjir, maka semakin tinggi pula ketahanan UKM tersebut. Pelaku UKM pangan menghadapi persaingan bisnis paling lemah terhadap pemasok.

Abstract

Purpose - The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of altruistic and egoistic as behavioral variables on socially responsible investment decision. This paper also investigates the aspects that investors consider the most in making decisions.Method - A total of 108 sample respondents were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The criteria used are capital market study group students who have at least one ethical stock in their portfolio. Conjoint and regression analysis were involved to conduct the research.Result - The results showed that the investment attributes that investors prioritize are industry focus followed by return and risk. Furthermore, the most preferred industry focus is ‘sustainable asset’ followed by ‘no focus’ and ‘arms and defense’. Investment preferences in sustainable assets are based on the altruistic value of investors. Altruism has been shown to have a significant positive effect on investors' decisions to invest their funds in stock which belong to socially responsible investment. On the other hand, the egoistic value has a significant negative effect on the decision to invest in socially responsible investment.Implication - By looking at the research result, companies as stock issuers may consider to create or make their stock sustainable. This research would be beneficial for investment analysts or consultants in providing advice for their clients.Originality - This research uses altruistic and egoistic variables as psychological variables in investment decisions. In addition to using behavioral finance, it also involves value-belief-norm theory to explain the phenomena and discuss altruistic value in Islam perspective.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and explore a conceptual framework to explain the relationship between destination brand authenticity, destination brand engagement, destination brand familiarity, and tourist loyalty. With a total of 120 respondents who filled out questionnaires via the Google form. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique. For data analysis using Structural Equation Model (SEM) analysis with Smart Partial Least Square (PLS). In this study, the sample used was tourists who are domiciled in Solo Raya, with a population of tourists who have visited Tawangmangu in the past year. The results of the study show that destination brand familiarity mediates the relationship between destination brand authenticity and brand involvement on tourist loyalty. So it can be concluded that the results of this study can help destination marketing organizations realize the important role of destination brand familiarity and improve brand performance.Keywords: Familiarity, Authenticity, Engagement, Tourist Loyalty

Abstract

The use of internet-based technology by the public continues to increase.  The most popular and effective server for using information systems is the internet. One form of technology that supports the stability of the ease of financial system services and increases economic efficiency is E-Wallet. DANA is a form of Indonesian digital wallet with non-cash transaction services that are more effective, transparent, and secure, coinciding with the development of E-wallet. DANA's design makes non-cash transactions and non-card wallets efficient. Interest in using a digital wallet in a person is influenced by various supporting factors, such as understanding financial literacy. Financial literacy is a measure of a person's capacity to handle their money wisely, which is reflected in their attitude, knowledge, and efficacy towards future financial well being. This research uses Smart-PLS data processing software with 114 respondents covering all people in Indonesia from various age groups, education, and income. The results of this study use the analysis of convergent validity test, reliability test, inner model test, and hypothesis testing.
