Abstract

The objectives of the study are: to analyze the level of preparedness of the stakeholdersin the adaptation and mitigation of floods in Surakarta, and to develop strategies to strengthen thecapacity of adaptation and mitigation of floods in Surakarta. Mixed-method of quantitative andqualitative has been employed to develop the strategy posed. The competent 15 keypersons wereselected using purposive quoted sampling for interview. Descriptive statistics and AHP wereemployed to analize the data. The results showed that that the stakeholders do not yet optimal inmitigation and adaptation to flooding. Capacity building strategy can be done through (a)developa strategic plan for overcoming Flood, (b) education, training and socialization of the adaptation and mitigation of flooding, (c) development and improvement of the physical aspects, (d)publicparticipation in flood mitigation, (e) planning and provision of logistics, funding, and equipment,(f) preparation of SOP flooding, and (g) encourage the protection of assets through insurance.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the relationship between overnight money of Islamic bankand conventional bank based on daily data begins from 12th October 1998 until 10th June 2005.This study is important to determine whether overnight money of conventional bank or overnight moneyof Islamic bank, become the leader or follower in the interbank money market. The econometrics testssuch as unit root test, VAR model and Granger causality test have been applied. Result shows thatboth variables are stationary at level form or I(0). This implies that we don’t need to further analysiswith cointegration test. In this case, we appllied the traditional model of VAR and Granger causalitytest. Empirical findings indicates that the existence of bi-directional causality between overnight moneyof Islamic bank and conventional bank.

Abstract

The most of small-scale industry in Indonesia is at a center community. The activities of theentrepreneur of small scale industrial if seen from pattern link of its job environmentally its businessown is difference of among one small entrepreneur with other. Based on the difference pattern of its linkhence the small entrepreneur can be grouped into mains entrepreneur, entrepreneur of free entrepreneurand follower. The main entrepreneur is important position, which can determine to succeed in thereassignment of small industry at one particular of a center community. Therefore, to evaluate thereadiness of small industry in face of free trade era hence attention and target of development shall beaddressed to mains entrepreneur.

Abstract

This study analyzes the design of packaging for both food products produced by KUB Sukarasa Tourism Village Organic Sukorejo Sragen. This is important because the packaging is one of the marketing tools. Food products in KUB Sukarasa in District Sambirejo Sragen sold in transparent plastic packaging and without label. This makes the level of sales is not maximized. This research has three objectives: first, create a packaging design that has the right size so easily carried by consumers and attractive for sale by the merchant. The second objective, informative designing packaging labels, such as product name, manufacturer's address, net weight, expiration date, product composition, and information about kosher. The research method used was experimental. The end result of this research is a product packaging design good food and interesting. This packaging design can be used by UMKM to develop their product marketing strategies in order to increase sales.

Abstract

The aimed of this study is to analyze the achievement of technical efficiency in smallbusinesses. The input factors that were analyzed are capital and worker, while the output factor is theproduct of the firm. Analysis using stochastic frontier. The result of analysis of technical efficiencyshow that the achievement of technical efficiency of enterprises of the study sample was quite goodcategory. While the returns to scale the firms are decreasing returns to scale (DRS). The role of capitaland worker aspects have little effect on improving the company’s production on the overall studysample. If the capital increase of 1% will be able to raise production by 0193%. whereas if there is theaddition of 1% of workers will increase production by 0005%. Based on the stochastic frontiertechnical efficiency analysis of each sub-sector that the handicraft sub-sector efficiency is highest.

Abstract

The main focus of this study was to explore the relationship between supply chain management, organizational coordination, cooperation, organizational capability and long-term orientation. Moreover, the study also evaluated the mediating impact of supply chain management between organizational coordination, cooperation and organizational capability and long-term orientation. The data for this study was collected from the workers working in restaurants in Indonesia. The data was collected through questionnaires. The response rate of the present study was 69%. The collected data was analysed through PLS-SEM. The findings of the study revealed that supply chain management and long-term orientation are directly impacted by organizational coordination, cooperation and organizational capability. Moreover, supply chain management also mediates among organizational coordination, cooperation and organizational capability. By using the findings of the study are important for the strategic and decision-makers of the supply chain industry. Moreover, the present study fills the gap of limited studies addressing the issue of long-term orientation in the restaurant industry of Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the effect of leadership styles, organizational commitment to performance with the mediation of motivation in the civil service of the Faculty of Universities in Surakarta. The study population was a civil servant employees in the faculty. The sample is determined by the saturated sample technique, the entire employee staff respondents as many as 76 people. Methods of data collection techniques used are questionnaire. Data analysis method used is the method of path analysis (path analysis). From the results of this study concluded that the style of leadership, organizational commitment and motivation of jointly have a significant influence on employee performance. While the results of the t test of leadership style variable result that leadership style has no effect on the motivation and performance of the organization's commitment and motivation.Variabel partially have a significant influence on employee performance. With the result that the path analysis variables mediate motivational leadership style on employee performance. Motivation also mediate organizational commitment to employee performance. Judging from the coefficient (R Square) we can conclude that the motivation was influenced variable leadership style and organizational commitment of 0.46% while the rest influenced by other factors beyond the study variables. Performance is influenced by the motivation of employees by 44% and the rest influenced by other factors beyond the variables. Performance of employees affected by variables of leadership style and organizational commitment by 36% while 64% is variable - the other variables outside the study.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis tingkat pemahaman pelaku UKM pangan terhadap banjir, menganalisis tingkat ketahanan UKM pangan terhadap banjir, menganalisis hubungan antara pemahaman pelaku UKM atas banjir dan ketahanan UKM pangan, serta menganalisis tingkat persaingan UKM dalam industri beras. Penelitian ini dilakukan di daerah rawan banjir di Kabupaten Klaten Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Populasi penelitian adalah semua pelaku usaha UKM yang berada dalam rantai pasok pangan yang pernah mengalami banjir minimal sebanyak 3 kali. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling, dan diambil sebanyak 100 responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yang dikumpulkan melalui wawancara terstruktur, indpeth interview dan FGD. Penelitian ini menggunakan beberapa alat analisis, yaitu analisis diskriptif, indeks dan chi square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Klaten merupakan kabupaten dengan indeks ketahanan wilayah atas banjir pada kategori sedang, dimana sensitivitas merupakan aspek pembentuk ketahanan wilayah paling rendah. Pendapatan dan kesehatan masyarakat menjadi penyebab utama rendahnya tingkat sensitifitas. UKM dalam rantai pasok pangan, baik itu usaha pertanian padi, penebas padi, pengepul padi, selepan, pedagang grosir dan pegadang eceran memiliki pemahaman banjir dalam kategori sedang. Tingkat ketahanan meraka berada pada kategori sedang, dimana pemasok menjadi aspek pembentuk ketahanan yang paling kuat dan aspek pembentuk paling lemah adalah tenaga kerja. Pemahaman pelaku UKM terhadap banjir berbanding lurus dengan ketahanan UKM pangan. Semakin tinggi tingkat pemahaman pelaku UKM terhadap banjir, maka semakin tinggi pula ketahanan UKM tersebut. Pelaku UKM pangan menghadapi persaingan bisnis paling lemah terhadap pemasok.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of corporate governance on firm value with profitability as an intervening variable. This study uses a sample of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2020. The sampling technique used was the purposive sampling technique. This type of research is quantitative with path analysis using the software Eviews 9. The results of this study indicate that: 1) Independent commissioners and institutional ownership have no significant effect on the profitability variable, while the board of directors, public ownership, and managerial ownership have a significant positive effect on profitability. 2) Profitability has a significant positive effect on firm value. 3) Public ownership and managerial ownership have a significant positive effect on firm value, while independent commissioners, board of directors, and institutional ownership have no significant effect on firm value. 4) Independent commissioners and institutional ownership have no significant effect on firm value through profitability. Meanwhile, the board of directors, public ownership, and managerial ownership positively and significantly affect firm value through profitability.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of responsibility (reliability), tangible (direct evidence), responsivenes (responsiveness), assurance (guarantee), empathy (empathy), tourist satisfaction on tourist satisfaction in de Tjolomadoe through visitor quality service as a mediating variable. The population in this study were de Tjolomadoe visitors who had visited. A sample search was carried out by distributing questionnaires online or offline in December 2021 and getting 180 respondents. After the selection was made, 100 samples were obtained that met the requirements and criteria in this study. Then data analysis was carried out using the Partial Least Square (PLS) – SEM approach with the help of SmartPLS version 3.0 software. The results of the study show that: (1) tangible has no significant effect on tourist satisfaction, so the first hypothesis is rejected. (2) reliability has no significant effect on tourist satisfaction, so the second hypothesis is rejected. Based on the results obtained reliability does not prove a positive influence on tourist satisfaction. (3) responsiveness has no significant effect on tourist satisfaction, so the third hypothesis is rejected. Based on the results obtained, responsiveness does not prove a positive influence on tourist satisfaction. (4) assurance has a significant effect on tourist satisfaction, so the fourth hypothesis is accepted. (5) empathy has a significant effect on tourist satisfaction, so that the fifth hypothesis is accepted. (6) tourist satisfaction has a significant effect on word of mouth, so that the sixth hypothesis is accepted. (6) tourist satisfaction has a significant effect on intention to revisit, so the seventh hypothesis is accepted. (7) Tourist satisfaction has a direct, positive and significant influence on the intention to revisit de Tjolomadoe tourists. (8) Tourist satisfaction does not mediate the direct effect of service quality on word of mouth tourists from de Tjolomadoe. (9) Tourist satisfaction does not mediate the direct effect of service quality on tourists' intention to revisit de Tjolomadoe
