Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil, tantangan, dan strategi guru dalam menghadapi Evaluasi Hasil Belajar Berbasis Komputer dan Smartphone (EHB-BKS) SMA Negeri di Kota Malang. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Penentuan informan penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Informan penelitian yaitu siswa, guru mata pelajaran Sosiologi, dan wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Validitas data diperoleh melalui triangulasi sumber. Data penelitian dianalisis secara interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru memberikan informasi dan pengenalan bentuk-bentuk soal EHB-BKS sejak dini, yaitu mulai dari kelas X. Guru juga menerapkan strategi penguatan pemahaman soal dengan membagi kisi-kisi soal, memberikan latihan-latihan soal, dan melakukan pembahasan soal. Secara tidak langsung, guru dapat mengevaluasi dan menguatkan materi Sosiologi dari kelas X hingga kelas XII. Upaya tersebut dapat berpengaruh pada peningkatan hasil EHB-BKS. AbstractThe research aimed to determine the results, challenges, and strategies of teachers in dealing with Computer and Smartphone-Based Learning Outcomes Evaluation (EHB-BKS) in Malang City Senior High School. The type of research conducted was descriptive qualitative. The determination of research informants used a purposive sampling technique. Research informants were students, teachers of sociology subjects, and vice principals in the field of curriculum. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data obtained through triangulation of sources. The analysis technique used interactive analysis. The result showed that the teacher provided information and introduced the forms of EHB-BKS questions from an early age, starting from class X. The teachers also implemented strategies to strengthen understanding of the questions by dividing the grid of questions, the gave practice questions, and discussing the questions. Indirectly, the teacher can evaluate and strengthen the Sociology material from class X to class XII. These efforts can have an effect on increasing the results of EHB-BKS.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian bertujuan untuk menjelaskan tantangan yang dihadapi alumni Pendidikan Sosiologi Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) dalam mengikuti seleksi Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG) Prajabatan. Hasil penelitian penting dianalisis untuk mengetahui tingkat kesiapan alumni Pendidikan Sosiologi UM dalam mengikuti seleksi PPG Prajabatan. Tantangan atau kendala alumni juga penting diketahui agar mahasiswa Pendidikan Sosiologi UM lebih mempersiapkan diri menghadapi seleksi PPG Prajabatan. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Responden penelitian berjumlah 11 orang alumni Pendidikan Sosiologi UM. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara. Data dianalisis menggunakan model analisis interaktif yang terdiri dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi atau penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penguasaan materi yang tidak maksimal dapat menjadi salah satu tantangan internal dan pelaksanaan tes subtantif yang jauh dari domisili menjadi tantangan eksternal alumni Pendidikan Sosiologi UM. AbstractThe research aimed to explain the challenges faced by alumni of the Sociology Education State University of Malang (UM) in participating in the Education selection PreOccupational Teacher Profession (PPG). It is important to analyze the results of this research to determine the level of readiness of UM Sociology Education alumni to take part in the PPG PreOccupational selection. It is also important to know the challenges or constraints of alumni so that UM Sociology Education students are able to better prepare themselves for the future PPG PreOccupational selection. This type of research was descriptive qualitative. The number of research respondents was 11 alumni of Sociology Education State UM. Data collection techniques used interviews. Data were analyzed using an interactive analysis model consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification or drawing conclusions. The results of the research showed that material mastery that is not optimal can be one of the internal challenges and the implementation of substantive tests that are far from their domicile is an external challenge for alumni of UM Sociology Education.

Abstract

Every learning process has its own challenges, one of which is due to the conditions and learning programs pursued by students. For example in the special class ASIFA foundation in collaboration with SMAN 7 Malang. There is a special class of soccer athletes studying at the school, namely in class XI IPS 6. Students in the class have programs in the field of sports that are quite high. Meanwhile, the results of observations and interviews indicate that the development of learning innovations through models and types of media is still not much developed by teachers. The impact, there are symptoms of low interest and lack of creativity in students. Therefore, researchers try to address these problems by conducting classroom action research using Jigsaw models accompanied by comic-making activities in the learning process. The results show that the level of student interest in learning and creativity has increased. In cycle one, there was an average increase of interest of 62%. Meanwhile, in the second cycle there was an increase in interest on average by 74%.

Abstract

Transisi kurikulum 2013 menuju kurikulum merdeka berdampak bagi guru mata pelajaran sosiologi. Beberapa materi esensial sosiologi dalam Kurikulum Merdeka sedikit berbeda dengan kurikulum 2013. Selain itu, capaian pembelajaran (CP) kurikulum merdeka ditulis dengan narasi berupa paragraf. Standar tersebut relatif baru bagi guru sehingga urutan materi dan kompetensi yang akan diajarkan harus disusun secara rinci dalam bentuk alur tujuan pembelajaran (ATP). Sebagian besar guru di Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) Madrasah Aliyah(MA) Kabupaten Malang berasal dari latar belakang non pendidikan sosiologi. Oleh karena itu, penafsiran CP menjadi ATP sebagai urutan materi esensial cukup sulit dipetakan. Kasus ini menjadi tantangan bagi guru mata pelajaran sosiologi di MA Kabupaten Malang. Penguatan mengenai materi esensial sosiologi dapat membantu guru mengatasi tantangan tersebut. Pendampingan dengan metode capacity building dilakukan untuk membedah materi-materi esensial Sosiologi. Hasilnya, guru dapat memanfaatkan materi pendampingan tersebut menjadi ATP di satuan pendidikan masing-masing sebagai bahan untuk menyusun perangkat ajar lanjutan, yaitu modul ajar. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan dengan survei (angket tertutup), tujuannya untuk mengukur tingkat penguasaan dan kepuasan program.

Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka menuntut seorang pendidik mampu mengembangkan pembelajaran dengan konsep teaching at right level. Tujuan pengabdian ini meningkatkan keterampilan alumni dalam membuat Alur Tujuan Pembelajaran (ATP) hingga produk modul ajar yang utuh. Perangkat-perangkat pembelajaran tersebut relatif baru dan berbeda dengan materi yang pernah dipelajari alumni ketika studi di jenjang S1. Pengabdian dilakukan melalui tahapan prasurvei, perencanaan program, pendaftaran peserta, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Metode ceramah, diskusi, praktik, dan tes digunakan selama proses pengabdian. Hasilnya, terdapat 50 alumni yang mendaftar menjadi peserta dari berbagai wilayah terlibat dalam kegiatan ini. Rata-rata hasil survei terhadap peserta selama sesi kegiatan menunjukkan materi yang diajarkan dapat diaplikasikan di dunia kerja hal ini dibuktikan dari pernyataan sesuai (41,4%), dan sangat sesuai (57,3%). Hanya 33 peserta yang dapat membuat perangkat ajar sendiri berupa modul ajar, sementara sisanya tidak mengumpulkan produk modul ajar.

Abstract

This research focuses on the readiness and the lack of students’ competence as pre-service teacher in dealing with field experience practice (PPL). The research was carried out using a mix method. Researchers develop research designs using qualitative method first, and then explain the findings obtained more comprehensively using qualitative method. The results of quantitative research were obtained through questionnaires, while qualitative data were obtained through interviews and literature studies. The results of the study show that the low competence of students is in three domains, that are 1) mastery of making learning tools, 2) determining learning strategies and models, and 3)mastering materials.

Abstract

Degraded existence of a tradition is due to 3 (three) main factors: inadequate knowledge on objective and meaning of tradition, inadequate contribution of community and lack of novelty in tradition. Considering such conditions, the author tries to raise the change and the impact of tradition on community life. The author used qualitative method with ethnographic research approach. Techniques of collecting data used were observation, interview, and documentation. The result of research shows the implementation process and the objective of tradition to document culture in order to be preserved in the future. Meanwhile, technique of analyzing used in this research is social construction perspective suggested by Peter L Berger &Luckmann to explain data found. The finding of research indicates that tradition changes with time and affects Tambakrejo people. Public participation is needed to maintain the tradition sustainability. Therefore, to preserve larung sesaji tradition, good human resource, innovation, and creativity are required to face the challenge of tradition existence in the future.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine perceptions and preferences for the forms of assignments that students expect and usually receive during lectures. The research used quantitative methods; the respondents are 118 students from UM Sociology Education. Through this research, lecturers can obtain initial diagnostic data, which researchers can use as considerations before planning the Semester Learning Plan (RPS). Therefore, the teaching process can accommodate government directions regarding team-based projects and student preferences. Apart from that, this survey also reflects on the lectures that lecturers have carried out so far. As a result, there was no significant difference in preferences between individual and group assignment forms. The form of article writing is the form of assessment for Mid-Semester Exams and Final Exams that lecturers often use, while most students prefer the form of product assessment. Over 50% of students did not support team teaching in one course.

Abstract

Pemahaman guru pada dunia publikasi sangat minim yang berdampak pada rendahnya karya ilmiah guru. Kegiatan ini dilakukan untuk stimulus dan meningkatkan produktivitas guru dengan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR) yang membekali guru mengenai: 1) Penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis Team Based Project pada Mata Pelajaran Sosiologi di level SMA/MA; 2) Melakukan mini riset yang menghasilkan karya ilmiah; 3) Pelatihan mengenai berbagai metode dan pendekatan dalam melakukan penelitian bidang sosiologi; 4) Tips menentukan topik yang menarik untuk dibahas, penyusunan instrumen penelitian, teknik menggali data penelitian di lapangan, mengolah hasil data lapangan, pelaporan karya ilmiah; 5) Menyusun hasil penelitian menjadi sebuah artikel ilmiah yang siap untuk dipublikasikan, guru dibekali cara menulis artikel ilmiah; 6) Guru dibekali wawasan mengenai dunia publikasi ilmiah tentang jurnal dan prosiding baik nasional maupun internasional; 7) Guru diajarkan bagaimana cara submit jurnal, dan cara mendaftar dalam prosiding; 8) Guru diajarkan penggunaan aplikasi Mandeley dan Zotero untuk melakukan pengutipan dalam penulisan artikel; 9) Guru diajarkan mengenai etika publikasi ilmiah; dan 10) Guru dikenalkan berbagai aplikasi uji plagiasi artikel seperti Turnitin, Plagiarism Checker, Small Seo Tools, dan cara pengaplikasiannya. Akhirnya guru dapat menghasilkan artikel ilmiah yang siap dipublikasikan.
