ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) merupakan suatu aplikasi integrasi yang difokuskan untuk mengotomasi seluruh aktivitas infrastruktur dalam suatu perusahaan. Sistem ERP menggabungkan proses bisnis antara perusahaan dan pelanggan, perusahaan dengan supplier, dan proses perhitungan finansial perusahaan. Semua proses bisnis yang tergabung mengakses pada sebuah basis data yang terpusat.Sistem manajemen basis data yang banyak digunakan pada aplikasi ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) adalah basis data relasional, sedangkan pengembangan aplikasi skala enterprise sebagian besar menerapkan konsep berorientasi objek. Dengan demikian terdapat ketidaksesuaian antara basisdata relasional dengan aplikasi yang menggunakan konsep berorientasi objek. Ketidaksesuaian tersebut antara lain terkait dengan aspek granularity, subtypes, identity, association, dan navigasi data.Pada penelitian ini dilakukan analisis terhadap rancangan aplikasi Retail ERP. Ditemukan ketidak sesusian yang meliputi tiga aspek, yaitu aspek identitas, asosiasi, dan navigasi data. Untuk mengatasi ketidaksesuaian tersebut, diimplementasikan konsep Object Relational Mapping (ORM). Setiap objek yang akan dipetakan menjadi tabel-tabel pada basis data relasional dibungkus oleh suatu interface dengan menerapkan konsep design pattern. Hal tersebut bertujuan untuk memudahkan integrasi dengan lapisan aplikasi.Implementasi ORM ini dibagi menjadi beberapa tahapan, yaitu: pemetaan Data Transfer Object dengan menghilangkan paradigma ketidaksesuaian antara basis data relasional dengan pemrograman berorientasi objek, membuat fungsi-fungsi akses data dengan mengimplementasikan DAO pattern, menyederhanakan fungsi akses data dengan memanfaatken konsep design pattern, membuat skema basis data, dan menyatukan lapisan persistensi dan lapisan aplikasi.Implementasi konsep ORM terbukti dapat menghilangkan ketidaksesuian tersebut. Selain itu penerapan ORM yang dilengkapi dengan design pattern membuat sistem ERP menjadi lebih mudah untuk dikembangkan.

Klasifikasi Metagenom dengan Metode Naïve Bayes Classifier Dian Kartika Utami; Wisnu Ananta Kusuma; Agus Buono

Studi metagenom merupakan langkah penting pada pengelompokan taksonomi. Pengelompokan pada metagenom dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode binning. Binning diperlukan untuk mengelompokkan contigs yang dimiliki oleh masing-masing kelompok spesies filogenetik. Pada penelitian ini, binning dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan komposisi berdasarkan supervised learning (pembelajaran dengan contoh). Metode supervised learning yang digunakan yaitu Naïve Bayes Classifier. Adapun metode yang digunakan untuk ekstraksi ciri adalah dengan melakukan perhitungan frekuensi k-mer. Klasifikasi pada metagenom dilakukan berdasarkan tingkat takson genus. Dari proses klasifikasi yang dilakukan, akurasi yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan fragmen pendek (400 bp) adalah 49.34 % untuk ekstraksi ciri 3-mer dan 53.95 % untuk ekstrasi ciri 4-mer. Sementara itu, untuk fragmen panjang (10 kbp), akurasi mengalami peningkatan yaitu 82.23 % untuk ekstraksi ciri 3-mer dan 85.89 % untuk esktraski ciri 4-mer. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa akurasi semakin tinggi seiring dengan semakin panjangnya ukuran fragmen. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menyimpulkan bahwa metode ekstrasi ciri yang memberikan hasil paling maksimal adalah dengan menggunakan ekstraksi ciri 4-mer.Kata Kunci: metagenom, k-mer, Naïve Bayes Classifier, binning, klasifikasi

Limbah biomassa ini sangat banyak terdapat di lingkungan dan sampai saat ini masih belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal, dikarenakan banyak mikroorganisme dari alam yang memproduksi enzim selulase dengan jumlah terbatas (aktifitasnya rendah). Dalam rangka meningkatkan produktivitas mikroorganisme untuk menghasilkan selulase, salah satu cara yang dapat diterapkan adalah merancang primer sekuens gen penyandi selulase yang dirangkum dari beberapa mikroorganisme penghasil selulase. Dalam penelitian ini, kami melakukan penyejajaran sekuen DNA penyandi selulase untuk mencari potensial primer untuk meningkatkan produktivitas enzim selulase dengan teknik Multiple Sequence Alignment (MSA). Metode yang digunakan adalah metode progresif (Progressive Alignment Algorithms). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada tahap penyejajaran, didapatkan tiga daerah konservatif (conserved regions). Sedangkan pada tahap perancangan dengan beberapa parameter yang telah ditentukan didapatkan 46 pasang primer dari lima sekuen gen penyandi selulase yang didapat dari National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI). Kata kunci: Selulase, Multiple Sequence Alignment, Perancangan Primer. Abstract The role of cellulase is very important in degrading cellulose which is abundant in the environment, such as in biomass waste that is containing lignin, hemicellulose, and cellulose. Biomass waste is abundant in the environment and is still not fully utilized, because many of the natural microorganisms that produce cellulase enzymesproduce the enzyme in a limited amount (have low activity). In order to improve the productivity of microorganisms in producing cellulase, one of the ways that can be applied is to design primer sequences of genes encoding cellulase summarized from several cellulase-producing microorganisms. In this research,we perform alignment of DNA sequences coding of cellulase to look for potential primer in order to increase the productivity of cellulase enzymes by Multiple Sequence Alignment (MSA) method. The method used is progressive (Progressive Alignment Algorithms). The results showed that in the alignment phase, three conserved regions were obtained. However, in the planning phase by using some predetermined parameters 46 pairs of primer sequences were obtained from five genes encoding cellulase taken from NCBI. ABSTRACTLibrary catalogue is challenged by the development of web technology that produce search engines dan also has change users’ interaction with information in this Web 2.0 enviroment. Users expect to participate and collaborate in the creation of information. This study aims to create a prototype of next generation OPAC which will use users’ contribution as an enrichment to OPAC. Users can contribute information to existing bibliographic record with tagging, rating and comment. Prototype was created using Drupal 7 and tested using Black Box method. Testing results shows that this prototype can fufill all functional requirements.Keywords: next generation OPAC, Web 2.0, Library 2.0, tagging, rating, review.

ABSTRACTInformation literacy is defined more than just using technology to obtain information such as the use of internet and e-book, or library user education that have become one of public service in a library. Information literacy skills need to be supported by another skill, one of which is digital literacy skill. This study aimed to identify information literacy skills using information technology and digital literacy skills referring to standard conditions and objectives that have been implemented in learning activities. Descriptive approach which refers to the TRAILS (Tool for Real-time Assessment of Literacy Skills) and SPCLC digital literacy standards used as a method in this study. We investigated the digital literacy skills and the information literacy skills of students from two elementary school in Jakarta. The result showed that the digital literacy skills of the students did not affect to their information literacy skills. Therefor, we recommend to conduct curriculum development which integrate information literacy subject in activities of learning by using computer and internet.Keywords : Information literacy, digital literacy, recommendations for curriculum development.

Creating a university library’s website needs to pay attention to usability aspect as a key of success and also as a user requirement for a website existence. The purpose of this research is to identify and analyze what problem would user facing and also giving a recommendation for maintenance in website’s interface to become more user-friendly. In this research, we did usability test to Universitas Mercu Buana library’s website using cognitive walkthrough method. A Cognitive walkthrough is a method to test usability where tester does series of task scenario to reach its goal. Usability test component covers effectiveness and efficiency. The result of this testing shows that the rate of finished task scenario from respondent are 90%. The Margin of error in this task scenario are from downloading from ProQuest database article. The average time for respondent completes all the task scenario is 680 seconds. The problem that users facing when using the website are finding book title, downloading thesis, finding journal title, finding article title, and downloading article from ProQuest database. the improvement this website need are adding the new search filter for ProQuest database article, the search box should be on every web pages, collection availability status should be showing in the search result without clicking title or call number, and term naming should be relevant to the content.Keywords: Cognitive Walkthrough, Library Website, Usability, Usability Testing, Website

The study aims to usability analysis the National Library of Indonesia home page based the results of Paramjeet and Gupta research. The method used was think-aloud. In this method, one user was observed when doing the assignment and asked to express choices, feelings, or thoughts when testing the website. There are seven phases in this method, i.e 1) literature study of usability, usability testing and think- aloud, 2) self-evaluation of the home page of National Library of Indonesia website, conducted by comparing the results of Paramjeet and Gupta study, 3) determination of assessment parameters, 4) determination of the number and criteria of the respondents, 5) analysis of home page usability by the respondents, 6) analysis of the results, conducted based on the respondent transcripts, and 7) recommendations. There were ten respondents, with medium internet literacy skill. They expressed their thoughts and feelings when testing the home page. There were criteria used in the assessment :1) the main features consist of logo and name of organization, about us, contact us, and archive and archiving; 2)URL (Uniform Resources Locator); 3) window title; 4) date and time; 5) writing content; 6) navigation; 7) search; 8) graphic and animation.Based on the analysis, it shows that home page of the National Library of Indonesia website needs to be improved. The improvements needed are: the addition of about us feature on the main menu; contact us becomes part of about us in the main menu; the results of the archive and archiving is in the form of title, in order to facilitate the information retrieval; the moving boxes in the navigation are replaced with fixed boxes using different colors with the color news; the search is equipped with advanced search, and graphics and animation should also be improved not only as a home page ornament.Keywords :National Library of Indonesia, think-aloud, usability.

Information and communication technology (ICT) has been implemented in almost every division at the National Library. This implementation is supported by Undang-Undang Nomor 43 tentang Perpustakaan. The aim of using ICT is to improve working performance and services of National Library. Pusat Pendidikan dan Pelatihan (Pusdiklat) is one of divisions that has not fully implemented ICT yet to increase the training quality and quantity, therefore management information system is required to support decision making related to the training. This research objective is to design a management information system using enterprise architecture framework, TOGAF. TOGAF provides a flexible framework to accommodate management information system design according to the organization’s vision, mission and goals. This research yielded a blueprint of management information system of training’s program and evaluation. It is expected that this blueprint could be used to guide the development of management information system in Pusdiklat.Keyword: Enterprise Architecture Framework, Management Information System, TOGAF, UML

Government and public service systems in the E-Government era are demanded to be transparent, effective, efficient, accountable and useful in society. These are the challenges that has to be faced by government institutions in conducting their functions. The rapid advance of information and communications technology opens the opportunity in accessing, processing and using the information fast and accurately. This research aims to analyze customer satisfaction towards Information and Documentation Management Officer (IDMO) Perpusnas RI website quality (http://ppid.perpusnas.go.id/). Electronic service quality model used in this research is NetQual (Bressolles, 2006) consisting of 18 variables representing five dimensions of service quality, namely information, ease of use, design, reliability, dan privacy/security. This research used quantitative descriptive approach supported with survey of 48 respondents who have accessed PPID Perpusnas RI website. This research used two methods in analyzing data, customer satisfaction index and importance performance analysis. The result indicated that overall user was not satistified with PPID Perpusnas RI website, with customer satisfaction index 39,71 % (very poor). It is also parallel with analysis result of importance performance rate whose gap ranges from -015 to -1,23 with average total score is -0,85. It could be concluded that customer respondents generally has not satisfied with the quality of PPID Perpusnas RI website.Keywords: Customer Satisfaction Index, Importance Performance Analysis, NetQual, PPID, Public Information, Website Quality

AbstractLibrary catalogues are used to search collections and simplify the retrieval process. Currently, most library catalogues have built in the online form known as the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC). The OPAC interface is important because it plays as a medium for connecting people with applications or systems. The interface can determine theeffectiveness and efficiency of the software. It analyzed by usability testing. The usability testing has not been conducted on Senayan Library Management System (SLiMS) OPAC interface. This research aims to analyze the usability of the SLiMS's OPAC interface at the Library of Indonesian National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB Library).The research conducted by Checklist and Think Aloud method.
