Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan anggota Karang Taruna di Pekon Sukabaru, Kecamatan Way Krui, Kabupaten Pesisir Barat, Provinsi Lampung, dalam mempromosikan pariwisata lokal melalui media sosial. Pelatihan ini difokuskan pada penggunaan aplikasi Canva dan CapCut sebagai alat bantu untuk membuat konten visual dan video yang menarik. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sesi pre-test lisan, penyampaian materi, praktik langsung, dan post-test lisan untuk mengevaluasi peningkatan keterampilan peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta mengenai pembuatan konten digital. Sebanyak 65% peserta mampu menghasilkan poster dan video yang siap digunakan untuk promosi wisata. Selain itu, peserta juga menunjukkan antusiasme dan komitmen untuk mengaplikasikan keterampilan yang diperoleh dalam memajukan pariwisata daerah. Kesimpulannya, pelatihan ini berhasil memberdayakan komunitas lokal dalam meningkatkan daya tarik wisata melalui media sosial, serta berpotensi memperkuat perekonomian lokal. Disarankan agar pelatihan lanjutan dan kolaborasi dengan pemerintah daerah dilakukan untuk mendukung keberlanjutan program ini.

Abstract

Abstrak Pantai Cahaya Negeri, Kecamatan Lemong Kabupaten Pesisir Barat mengalami abrasi signifikan, berdampak pada pergeseran tepi pantainya. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengkaji, mengidentifikasi dampak pergeseran tepi pantai oleh abrasi periode 2012 hingga 2022 dan memprakirakan pergeseran tepi pantai periode 2023 hingga 2032. Metode pemantauan menggunakan Digital Shoreline Analysis System (DSAS) perhitungan Shoreline Change Envelope (SCE), Net Shoreline Movement (NSM), End Point Rate (EPR) untuk memprakirakan pergeseran tepi pantai, digunakan perhitungan Linear Regression Rate (LRR). Hasil analisis menunjukkan abrasi menyebabkan pergeseran tepi pantai 2,11 hektare periode 2012 hingga 2022. Prakiraan pergeseran tepi pantai sebesar 13,6 m, luas perubahan sebesar 2,33 hektare periode 2023 hingga 2032. Kesimpulan adalah Pergeseran tepi pantai (2012 hingga 2022) didominasi abrasi sebesar 2,11 hektare (92,7%), akresi 0,16 hektare (7,2%), total pergeseran 2,281 hektare. Dampaknya meliputi longsor, dan kerusakan lahan pertanian. Prakiraan (2023-2032) menunjukkan bahwa abrasi 13,6 m pergeseran terbesar 34,47 m, terkecil 0,34 m, dan akresi 0,46 m. Kata kunci: abrasi, prakiraan, DSAS, NSM, LRR.   Abstract Cahaya Negeri Beach, Lemong District, Pesisir Barat Regency experienced significant abrasion, impacting the shifting of its shoreline. The researcher's objective was to study, identify the impact of shoreline shifting by abrasion from 2012 to 2022 and predict shoreline shifting from 2023 to 2032. The monitoring method used the Digital Shoreline Analysis System (DSAS) calculation of Shoreline Change Envelope (SCE), Net Shoreline Movement (NSM), End Point Rate (EPR) to predict shoreline shifting, Linear Regression Rate (LRR) calculation was used. The results of the analysis show that abrasion causes a shift in the coastline of 2.11 hectares from 2012 to 2022. The prediction of the shift in the coastline is 13.6 meters, the area of change is 2.33 hectares from 2023 to 2032. The conclusion is that the shift in the coastline (2012 to 2022) is dominated by abrasion of 2.11 hectares (92.7%), accretion of 0.16 hectares (7.2%), total shift of 2,281 hectares. The impacts include landslides and damage to agricultural land. The prediction (2023-2032) shows abrasion of 13.6 meters, the largest shift is 34.47 meters, the smallest is 0.34 meters, and accretion is 0.46 meters. Keywords: abrasion, prediction, DSAS, NSM, LRR.

Abstract

Abstrak   Ketidakefisienan distribusi hasil tambang batu basalt melalui jalur darat mendorong pembangunan Terminal Khusus PT. Optima Nusa Tujuh guna mengoptimalkan distribusi melalui jalur laut. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menentukan skenario investasi paling optimal berdasarkan kelayakan finansial dan kontribusinya terhadap efisiensi distribusi. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif dengan teknik kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Analisis kualitatif digunakan untuk mengevaluasi aspek non-finansial, sedangkan analisis kuantitatif menilai kelayakan finansial berdasarkan parameter NPV, IRR, PI, BCR, BEP, dan PBP. Hasil evaluasi terhadap kelima skenario investasi menunjukkan bahwa seluruh skenario layak dilaksanakan dengan nilai NPV positif. Namun, hanya skenario moderat hingga optimis yang memenuhi seluruh kriteria kelayakan. Skenario 5 (optimis 20%) memberikan hasil paling optimal, dengan NPV sebesar Rp65.396.124.689,67, IRR sebesar 34,21%, dan periode pengembalian investasi tercepat selama 3 tahun 2 bulan 4 hari. Kesimpulannya, pendistribusian hasil tambang melalui terminal khusus jalur laut dinilai layak dan memberikan dampak positif secara finansial karena memberikan keuntungan jangka panjang dan efisiensi distribusi terbaik.   Kata kunci: studi kelayakan, terminal khusus, distribusi  basalt, NPV, IRR   Abstract   The inefficiency of basalt distribution via land transportation has prompted the development of a dedicated terminal by PT. Optima Nusa Tujuh to enhance maritime distribution. This study aims to determine the most optimal investment scenario based on financial feasibility and its impact on distribution efficiency. A descriptive method is employed, incorporating both qualitative and quantitative approaches. Qualitative analysis explores non-financial factors influencing project viability, while quantitative analysis evaluates financial feasibility using NPV, IRR, PI, BCR, BEP, and PBP. Analysis of five investment scenarios reveals that all are financially feasible with positive NPV values; however, only moderate to optimistic scenarios fulfill all feasibility criteria. Scenario 5 (20% optimistic) emerges as the most optimal, yielding the highest NPV of IDR 65,396,124,689.67, IRR of 34,21%, and the shortest payback period of 3 years, 2 months, and 4 days. In conclusion, maritime distribution via dedicated terminal is feasible and financially advantageous, ensuring long-term gains and efficient logistics.   Keywords: feasibility study, dedicated terminal, basalt distribution, NPV, IRR

Abstract

The sustainability of dam operations needs to be reviewed in terms of water availability, in order to maintain the sustainability of water demand in all sectors in the coming years. This study aims to analyze of water availability of the Way Sekampung Dam reservoir according to its needs using one of the applications of the dynamic program, Vensim. The study used data-driven scenario simulations on the Vensim application, to analyze key factors including available inflows, required outflows, storage capacity of the dam and plans to supply raw water over a 25-year period. The results show that the dam can supply raw water for Bandar Lampung, Beranti, Pringsewu and Metro City with a total capacity of 2,737 liters per second and support water needs for potential irrigation of 76,006 hectares. Optimization of the dam's storage operation can be achieved, with a target reliability of 100% occurring in 2027, the year when the dam's storage condition reaches its optimal level at an elevation of +125.23 meters. To meet downstream water demand, the dam's storage capacity must be maintained at an elevation of +124.0 meters or higher, with a volume of 68,060,000 m³ and an inundation area of 5,020.8 km2. If the water storage falls below this elevation, it will be necessary to update the water allocation policy, adjust management regulations, appropriate management strategies, including periodic updating of the reservoir operation rules and implementation of a flexible water release schedule, to ensure continuous water availability at the Way Sekampung Dam reservoir.

Abstract

Bridges represent a vital component of strategic infrastructure, facilitating the movement of traffic and the distribution of logistics. Bridges facilitate connectivity between disparate geographical regions. It is of the utmost importance to prevent damage and failure of bridge structures. Bridge structure failure is the formation of local scour at the pillars and abutments of the bridge. The objective of this research is to assess the safety of the Way Sumanda-Sukamulya Bridge in regard to the potential for scour at the pillars and abutments. Topographic surveys, instantaneous discharge, and riverbed sediment gradation were conducted for the purpose of collecting data regarding the potential for scour. Ten years of rainfall data were obtained from the Mesuji-Sekampung BBWS, which served to corroborate the design flood discharge. An evaluation of scour was conducted using the HEC-RAS 1D.  The scour depth at the pillars ranged from 1.60 m to 1.89 m, while the scour depth at the abutments reached 2.28 m to 3.17 m. It was observed that the outer bend of the river presented a greater scour depth than the inner part. It is imperative that the Way Sumanda Bridge be periodically assessed to ensure that the risk of local scour is kept to an absolute minimum.

Abstract

Flooding is a recurring issue in the Way Tipo Watershed (DAS), impacting both the environment and surrounding communities. This study analyzes flood inundation areas using a quantitative approach based on hydrology and hydraulics, employing HEC-RAS modeling. The flood discharge was calculated using the Nakayashu method, yielding return period discharges (Q2–Q100) ranging from 744.46 to 993.05 m³/s. Simulation validation with the design discharge Q25 and Q50 at 988.82 m³/s resulted in an inundation area of 76.29 km². The analysis of the relationship between discharge and inundation area using Excel produced an equation with R² > 0.94, indicating a strong correlation. The findings of this study can serve as a basis for flood mitigation planning and sustainable watershed management. The implication of these findings is that the mathematical model obtained is capable of providing a fairly accurate picture of potential flooding based on water discharge, thereby assisting policymakers, local governments, and relevant parties in formulating flood prevention strategies, determining flood-prone zones, and spatial planning for the region.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis karakteristik pasang surut dan membandingkan data peramalan pasang surut dengan data terukur. Data yang digunakan merupakan data pasang surut jam-jaman periode tahun 2011-2015 yang diunduh dari website BIG dan UHSLC pada wilayah stasiun Sadeng, Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Data yang digunakan untuk setiap analisis adalah data 30 harian atau 720 jam. Hasil perbandingan dalam penelitian ini diperoleh berdasarkan analisis data elevasi langsung dan besaran nilai amplitudonya. Untuk besaran nilai amplitudo komponen pasang surut didapatkan menggunakan program ANFOR yang mengaplikasikan metode Least Square. Berdasarkan pada hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa tipe pasang surut yang terjadi pada stasiun Sadeng tergolong pasang surut campuran condong harian ganda. Berdasarkan data elevasi langsungnya, nilai kesalahan relatif dari perbandingan kedua sumber data sebesar 5,7748 % dengan selisih elevasi rata-rata 15,99 cm. Nilai koefisien korelasi langsung berdasarkan elevasinya sebesar 0,9838. Sedangkan berdasarkan perbandingan amplitudo komponen pasang surutnya didapatkan nilai kesalahan relatif yang bervariasi sebagai berikut: K1 sebesar 7,8981 %, O1 sebesar 3,8318 %, P1 sebesar 23,2832 %, M2 sebesar 1,8287 %, S2 sebesar 6,0048 %, N2 sebesar 5,8659 %, K2 sebesar 15,7505 %, M4 sebesar 95,0682 % dan MS4 sebesar 94,9316 %. Dari analisa amplitudo data peramalan pasang surut diperoleh korelasi sebesar 0,9977.

Abstract

The river is a gathering place for water in the surrounding environment which flows towards a lower place. Way Besai river is located in Sumberjaya sub-district, West Lampung district which has an area of 410.72 km2. Direct runoff needs to be carried out on the Way Besai river to determine the flood hydrograph that occurs in the Way Besai river. The HEC-HMS model is a numerical hydrological model developed by the Hydrologic Engineering Center (HEC) of the US Army Corps Of Engineers.The methods used in direct flow runoff in the HEC-HMS software are the SCS UH method, the Clark's UH method and the Snyder's UH method. The purpose of this research was to analyze the Way Besai river flood hydrograph by calculating direct runoff using these three methods. The results of this study indicate that the SCS UH method is the most suitable compared to Clark's UH method and Snyder's UH method because it produces the smallest deviation value. Keywords : Way Besai, direct runoff flow, HEC-HMS, SCS UH, Clark's UH, Snyder's UH

Abstract

Air merupakan kompenen penting penting bagi kehidupan di bumi. Saat ini fenomena yang terjadi adalah masih banyak masyarakat yang kesulitas mendapatkan air dikarenakan ketersediaannya yang terbatas. Kondisi ini diakibatkan kuantitas air sudah tidak mampu memenuhi kebutuhan domestik yang terus meningkat sehingga perlu dilakukan pengelolaan kualitas air secara bijaksana.  Bentuk pengelolaan kualittas air yang saat ini masih jarang diterapkan yakni dengan pengolahan air hujan dengan metode elektrolisis. Tujuan dari metode ini adalah untuk memisahkan asam dan basa yang terkandung dalam air hujan hingga air layak digunakan sebagai air minum. Dalam studi ini, eksperimen dilakukan dengan meninjau pengolahan air hujan menjadi air minum dengan metode elektrolisis pada parameter pH dan TDS. Selain itu, dilakukan uji kualitas air hujan sesuai dengan Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan No.492 Tahun 2010. Dari eksperimen didapatkan bahwa metode elektrolisis 0,5 ampere lebih optimal untuk meningkatkan kualitas air hujan menjadi air minum pH basa 8+ dengan TDS fluktuatif berkisar 8 mg/l – 16 mg/l. Abstract

Water is all water that above or below the ground surface, including sea water that is on land. The need for clean water will increase, while clean water is scarce and must be paid handsomely. Meanwhile, the water source crisis is caused by the increasing need for water as a result of the growing population and land functions that can change the hydrological cycle. One way to meet human needs for clean water is by establishing the concept of rainwater harvesting, which is the concept of collecting rainwater that is stored in a reservoir and then the collected water can be used as an alternative source of water.The purpose of this study was to analyze the quality of rainwater before electrolysis and to determine the pH and TDS values of the permanent yield of rainwater and electrolysis.The results of this study are based on the results of laboratory tests showing that the overall quality of water in rainwater meets PerMenKes N0.416 of 1990. For the decreased pH and TDS values in the electrolysis process using a 1 ampere current adapter with a voltage of 300 volts has increased by 0 , 2-0.4 cm in acidic water. As well as for the area of titanium that affects the electrolysis process, the smaller the size of the titanium, the faster it will produce acid water.Keywords: water, rainwater, rainwater harvesting concept, electrolysis method, acid water.
